okey another little ideas and headcanons for the argentina cross guild au??thing?? idk

im having so much fun doing this...

they arent called cross guild, they are called Cruz de los Giles, name provided by our beloved chairman of course. at the proposition both mihawk and crocodile were completely opossed ("seriously, clown. no ones gonna respect us with a name like that") but buggy insists that its a great name for a mild undercover while the thing grows wealthier and more powerful until eventually the whole world will learn to fear Cruz de los Giles unexpectedly. and well, thats a good point and crocodile redunctanly agrees. mihawk is very amused (though he doesnt show it) at the idea of being called Cruz de los Giles because he thinks that it represents very well all the people working under them.

obviously all of buggys crew are so fucking amused. Cruz de los Giles sounds so good. its hilarious. everybody loves it.

they dont live in Karai Bari island. instead, the island they live in looks like the zone around El Bolson (incluiding Lago Puelo and El Hoyo), the mountains, the cascades, the villages, the sand sorrounding some lakes.

they recreute the villagers or kill them off idk, lets pretend that instead of being big villages they are just tiny small populated villages easy to conquer idk

and the big tents and stuff is located around el bolsons main plaza, but mihawk crocodile and buggy live in actual houses they stole and redecorated at their style so they just look like that photo of the black house next to the pink house yea that one.

buggy loves to escape into the fairy woods to hear weird shit and be scared of it but he likes it anyway, he also found some caves behind a cascade and he made it into his secret little room. no one ever enters because it seems that people are fucking alergic to water in this crew.

buggy alvida and mr 3 are of the few who shower both willingly and regularly because it isnt sea water, it doesnt affect devil fruit users, is literally de-iced water so even tho its ICE COLD its still cool to shower and no excuse.

they sometimes shower in some lakes sometimes in some rivers sometimes below cascades.

it doesnt matter if they go showering alone or not, they agreed to always take richie with them because cougars and jabalis are everywhere and yes, they could easily defend themselves from some wild animals but they would prefer not to fight with their ding dongs out. so if they have richie he sleeps just at the shore of whichever body of water theyre in and just his presence will scare away the wild animals.

mihawk buggy and crocodile "hang out" in El Hoyos maze everytime they can

its funny for crocodile to watch the clown run wildly in the maze trying to get out while mihawk just, walks calmly and gets out. and if someone were to ask buggy, crocodile doesnt deserve to be called winner because he obviously cheats with his sand powers and nobody likes cheaters. (he would never say that to crocodile, he just likes to imagine himself doing it)

So I’ve been thinking about Little!Lando. As we know he opened up about struggling with anxiety and not feeling enough and so on that I believe he would use this headspace to escape from all these thoughts and feelings. 

For his age I think it could go one of two ways. Either he is a really young little, where he has a headspace of maybe one year or younger, in which he is completely dependent on his caregiver(s). This would give him the possibility to completely shut out his thoughts. 

He could also be a bit older, where he can already play and colour. I think in this headspace he would be a lot more active and energetic but still thrive on physical contact with the person he trusts but be extremely shy around people he doesn’t know that well. In addition, i am compelled to think that he would have sensory issues. Like feeling that the light is too bright even inside (I think he mentioned that once in an interview) as well as loud noises, crowded spaces and in particular, clothing that is tight, is the wrong material or has itchy tags, which is the reason for why he always wears hoodies.

Regarding your own question I think that he would for sure try to hide it from his partner because he probably believes that this makes him even weaker which makes him feel ashamed of himself. I could also think of a scenario where the partner and him are just enjoying some quality time and he just starts acting younger because he feels safe and protected and maybe he doesn’t even really realise it. 

I really like the idea of Lewis being his caregiver because I think that he would be really supportive (not that other wouldn’t) and understand the mental health implications of this. He could also deal with the sensory issues because he just knows how to handle such situations (because he was already well informed on such things) And also just because I love the two as a pair :)

Ps. I absolutely love your writing <3  and it always puts a smile on my face when I see you have posted. I hope also you understand my uncoordinated thoughts.

Aw I love all of this!! It’s so good!!!! I’m gonna try and add some thoughts but honestly I think your dead on with all of this.

I definitely agree that lando would use regressing to deal with his anxiety. I also think that little!Lando would be a lot more open his feelings? He’ll tell you that he’s overwhelmed or scared.

And sometimes he’ll even talk about stuff that he went through when he wasn’t regressed? He’ll tell you how disappointed he was when himself during quali or how much of a mess a race was. He just opens up so much easier.

I love that Lando accidentally regressed the first time around you. He promises himself that he isn’t going to regress around you, convinced himself that he doesn’t need a caregiver.

But he can’t stop himself because he just feels so nice and safe around you?? Maybe he was stressed and couldn’t sleep so you offered to read to him? He’s so happy, cuddled into your side while you read to him. He really can’t help regressing then, because it’s perfect.

You pause reading for a moment and look down at lando and suddenly he’s sucking on his thumb, looking up at you with so much innocence in his eyes.

“Oh hello,” you say softly.

“Hello,” Lando responds, very shy cause he’s never regressed around you before he’s so comfy and he can’t bring himself to move and he really wants to hear the end of the story.

You don’t make a big deal of out it, just finish reading him the story and then bring him a warm cup of milk.

He’s mortified when he wakes up of course, begging you to forget that. But you tell him that you love him very much and that you’d happily look after him when he regresses.

I absolutely agree with the sensory issues!!! But I also think that the sensory issues would be something that lando doesn’t even realise? Like he knows something is wrong of course, but he doesn’t know what and he doesn’t know how to fix it.

Until you start looking after him and you realise it’s the bright lights and the clothing labels and the loud noises are making lando upset.

Maybe that’s how Lewis joins? You ask Lewis for advice because you know Lewis would have some knowledge about what clothing would be best for lando and some other mental health strategies.

Not only is Lewis more than happy to offer advice, but he shows up with a whole box of the softest, most sensory safe clothes he could find for lando.

To be honest, I think Lewis would really want a little to care for? Lewis LOVES caring for littles so much, but he’s always just the babysitter and never chosen as the primary caregiver.

But then he starts helping you with lando and honestly he’s so much happier. Caregivers need littles well, they’ll start to feel isolated and depressed without a little to care for.

And lando LOVES Lewis caring for him. He wants you there too of course, but he adores Lewis. You’re his cuddle buddy and comfort person, but Lewis is the one he wants to play with.

Lando just absolutely thrives with you and Lewis. He loves having two caregivers who love and support him.

Eeeek the littles AU is adorable!!!! What would happen the first time Max dropped around you after pretending to be neutral all along? Would he drop voluntarily or do you think it would be accidental, triggered by something bad/scary happening? How would you react and take care of him?

Aw I’m so glad you guys are liking this au!!

I definitely think it would happen accidentally the first time, because I think that max would fight dropping around you tooth and nail. He’d do everything he can to stop it from happening because he’d be convinced that you’d leave the moment you found out (it’s what his dad always told him).

But I also think that you’d kinda know? Like you wouldn’t have hard evidence, but you’d have some pretty strong suspicions before max actually drops around you.

Because as much as much tries to be “big” the entire time, he slips up quite a bit. You’ve caught him sucking his thumb before, throwing a blanket over what looked like a stuffy, get more cuddly and clingy when he’s tired, etc. All signs of a little trying and failing to stay big.

As much as you want to bring it up to max and let him know that you’d love to be his caregiver, you also know that max is clearly going to extremes to keep this from you. And you don’t want to push him to reveal it before he’s ready.

The problem is, he’s never actually ready.

And what ends up happening is that he DNFs out of a race, gets a talking to from his dad the whole flight home and wants to drop the moment he gets back to his apartment, except he forgets that you’re supposed to meet him at his apartment after the race for dinner.

He’s seconds away from finally dropping when you knock on the door and then it’s too late. He can’t stop himself.

Especially because he’s so stressed and tired and scared and now he’s feeling so little and little maxy knows you’d take great care of him, even if big max doesn’t like it.

So you look after a very fussy little, feeding him dinner and helping him change into his PJs and reading him bedtime story and giving him cuddles. And maxy is so happy!! He’s never had a caregiver before, he loves you SO much!!

Of course the next morning when max wakes up big, he’s absolutely mortified about what happened. But you tell him that you didn’t mind at all, and that you think he needs a caregiver because little maxy should not have to fend for himself.

Except saying that makes max want to drop again? Because you’re right, little maxy shouldn’t be on his own. But he’s not on his own right now, so he can drop? Right?
