Honestly, as much as a love the Gilded Age and glitz glamor of the wealth it shows...what has really caught my attention is the plotline unions and mills
I am once again starting my campaign for Hollywood to create a mini series based on the Progressive era
And I want it as dark, gritty, a realistic as possible.

btw pro tips for wearing skirts as short as you want and still never getting catcalled in the city
- gigantic shoes that make a lot of noise
- shirts with gory horror movie imagery on them
- angryish/flat resting face + heavy dark makeup
you MAY still get stealthily checked out from afar but almost guaranteed no one will talk to you. in fact sometimes people will see you and start walking in the opposite direction

people are always surprised when i say i don't mind the rainy season in seattle for like some quite valid reasons but i cannot overstate how much the ecological experience of the pnw is sooooo good for my mental health. it doesn't get very cold, there's always a green plant around, and most of the time i can see the mountains and when i can't i have the water!! do you know how easy it is to feel better in the face of natural beauty?

Honestly, it's been on my mind for a bit so I'll babble:
I think there is something absolutely magical about hometown crowds. Like we talk about mundane magic a lot, but we don't really talk about the electrifying feel of hometown crowds. People who believe so wholeheartedly in their team that it's almost like they can force their team to win by sheer force of will and belief.
For example, even if I don't necessarily like my hometown team, I love the city. I love the way people cheer for the in between period activities. I love the way people cheer during the lookalike cams. Like they both love and hate their own so wholeheartedly. It's beautiful. People who come to games, especially hometown games, typically come to games because they love their team and it's beautiful how you can feel it and see it all the same. Like they really come together during these games.

So, Kane got traded the red wings on Tuesday and Alex Debrincat’s been with the wings since the start of the season. On the screen, they showed some stats and had pictures of Debrincat, then Raymond, then Kane…yeah, it’s still weird seeing Kane in a red wings jersey. And then couple that with debrincat…let’s just say if you would’ve told me 6 months ago that 2 famous Chicago Blackhawks would be playing for the wings, I would’ve laughed in your face
