Hello! Here are the new traits that I have been working on. I have made 15 new CAS Traits

How does this work?

Just like you would add any other CAS trait for your Sims. For reference, you can look at the photo and these are all the traits you would find in the game. These are compatible with all of my other previous traits.

Depending on what trait you use sims with the traits or sims around the sim with these traits can have certain reactions. It's just like how the traits work in general.

Gamer: These Sims gain significant happiness and stress relief from playing video games, may become tense if they haven't gamed for a while, and excel in tech-related careers.

Romantic Idealist: These Sims dream of grand romantic gestures and true love, often getting mood boosts from romantic interactions but may become sad if their love life doesn't meet their lofty expectations.

Cuddle Bug: These Sims love giving and receiving hugs, gaining positive moodlets from cuddling with loved ones and pets.

Fairy-Tale Fanatic: These Sims are obsessed with fairy tales, feeling happy when reading or discussing them and often aspire to live out their own fairy-tale romance or adventure.

Baker: These Sims find joy and comfort in baking, experiencing mood improvements when making and eating baked goods.

Memory Keeper: These Sims cherish memories more than most, often reminiscing about past events, which can significantly affect their mood.

Vintage Lover: These Sims have a passion for all things vintage, gaining happiness from wearing vintage clothes and decorating their homes with retro items.

Home Chef: These Sims love cooking at home and experimenting with recipes, gaining positive moodlets from cooking meals for others.

Body Conscious: These Sims are often critical of their body, frequently feeling insecure and may seek validation or comfort from others regarding their appearance.

Love-Struck: These Sims easily fall in love, often feeling elated in romantic relationships but may experience deeper sadness from breakups.

Monogamous: These Sims prefer deep, committed relationships, gaining substantial mood boosts from stable relationships but may feel insecure with casual romances.

Heartbreaker: These Sims find it easy to start and end relationships, gaining confidence from romantic conquests but potentially leaving a trail of broken hearts.

Natural Beauty: These Sims are confident in their natural appearance, often receiving compliments and feeling happy without makeup or styling.

Elegantly Aged: These Sims age gracefully, often receiving compliments on their mature beauty and feeling confident in later life stages.

Body Positive: These Sims love their body in all its forms, often inspiring others to feel the same and rarely feeling insecure about their physique.

Hairstyle Hobbyist: These Sims love experimenting with their hair, feeling happiest and most confident after a visit to the salon or trying a new hairstyle at home.

Unkempt: These Sims don't prioritize grooming, often feeling indifferent to their messy appearance but may occasionally feel embarrassed in social situations.

Age Insecure: These Sims struggle with aging, often feeling sad or anxious about getting older and may seek rejuvenation through various means.

What else do I need for the mod?

The Mood Pack (If your UI disappears or there are UI issues after you play an animation with a mod it is because the Mood Pack isn't properly installed or installed at all. Please make sure you make note of this.)

Does this mod require any DLC?

The mod is BGC. The traits do tap into each pack so having them will create a more full experience. Not required though.

How to install the mod?

You can choose to download whichever trait you want from the downloads below OR you can download the zip file "Maplebell More CAS Traits #3" If there are also traits you do not want then you can delete them from the folder.

Welcome to Windbrook! I'm finally ready to release the first version of my Windbrook save file. Thank you everyone for all the love, you kept me going when I felt like throwing in the towel.

I've meticulously combed over everything to make sure everything was functional. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BANK WILL NOT BE FUNCTIONAL UNLESS YOU HAVE SIMREALIST FINACIAL CENTER AND SNBANK MOD, FIND THEM HERE AND HERE.

Moving on, as of right now Willow Creek is the only world made over. Please note that this save file was built using Srsly's Blank Save. What this means is EVERY WORLD besides Willow Creek (the world I built in) and San Sequoia (Growing Together expansion pack) is empty. Please feel free to use your own lots and sims to fill the other worlds. Ultimately, I plan on building every world with a realistic mid west aesthetic; but that's months in the making. All that being said, this is not a finished save file! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________

That being said, all packs and kits are not required. The game will notify you that you are missing content, and will will replace them with another item - after that, everything is functional.

TS3 Mods that I use

This list has been created for years. It is sharpened for realism, smoothness of the game, so there are no mods like Kinky or StoryProgression.

All these mods can be used together, they are tested for compatibility both through the panel and in the game.

All of them are suitable for the latest version of the game.

!!!Important!!!

I have all the add-ons, catalogs and the store.

Some of the mods need to be configured (Passion, system core, BGLMFT)

No need to blindly download everything, at least briefly read the descriptions of mods and their possible errors, as well as the settings

Make sure you have completed all these steps for a smooth game

My computer is average.

There are no visual fixes and default replacements in this list, otherwise the list would have doubled.

SimsAsylum is not broken, registration is needed

If your computer still doesn't pull - look at the mods in the Misc category - there are the heaviest script mods

If in addition to this list you use other mods- do not forget to check for compatibility, version, put it in other folders other than the list, so that if anything, you can quickly figure out what the problem is.

After massive downloads, installations and file transfers - do a system cleanup. This greatly affects the loading time of the game.

I've always liked Seb's eight heart event best of all. To me it sums up his personality more perfectly than any of the others.

Bells Hells playing stardew valley

Orym - chooses forest farm, makes the cutest little garden in the shape of 2 moons. Best friends with leah because shes a character that just makes sense to him, and romances elliott because dramatic dudes with lucsious hair seem to be his type ;) he also loves the junimos

Laudna - Laudna plays co-op with imogen, and they have a really cottagecore farm. Its a wilderness farm though, and laudna will not let imogen fight any of monsters because the add to the atmosphere. Her favourite festival is the flower dance, and she loves the tailoring aspect of the game

Imogen - shes a farm girl what can i say. While laudna works on the crops, imogen will gather resources to build barns and coops and look after every animal she can afford (they all have names) she downloads a mod to make the horse look like the one she used to own

Ashton - Ashton loves the mines. Once they unlock skull cavern, he will deep dive as far as he can go and use as many bombs as possible. He doesnt usually make friends with people but eventually when fcg convinces them to he cries over shanes story just a bit.

Fearne - Fearne has a very pretty flower farm, and is invested in what is happening with marnie and lewis. Once she gets the pants she will find as many uses for them as she possibly can. Her favourite festival is the egg hunt.

Chetney - Like fearne, he is very interested in marnie amd lewis' relationship, and will try to romance marnie because he can. When he finds out he cant actually build buildings by himself he tries to steal robins job, or try to marry robin. All the bachelors and bachelorettes are too young for him.

FCG - FCG loves to make friends with people, and will memorise each persons loved gift and talk to as many people as they can every day. They try to give therapy to shane but are happy that he still gets help. He decides to move in with krobus because they have a smiley face when you hug them. Because of his attwntion to friendships, his farm mostly consists of just things needed to build relationships.

Dorian - Dorian is a pretty well rounded player, with a nice farm hes spent way to much time on. He always grows blue jazz in spring, and can never decide who to romance, (he suffered rejection from hayley at the flower dance) so he invites orym to his farm and immediately proposes, and explains this with "i need the stardrop so uhhh" orym accepts. Dorian loves the music in the game and often restarts the day just so he can rewatch the dance of the moonlight jellies.

First time doing headcanons and stuff, i saw a post with orym playing stardew in it and got inspired, ill try to find the og post if i can. Sorry for any spelling mistakes, currently very tired. Let me know if you want more of this! :D

So, I started playing Hogwarts Legacy and him.

Him. Ominis Gaunt.

He stole my heart and now im hopelessly following him around when I see him around the castle to check on him and to hear his stupidly beautiful voice, and his dumb pretty boy accent --- I really like him, I might start writing Male Reader x Ominis here or in AO3 cause goddamit, i wanna spoil himn so muchj dfkjdkf just look at him, dear lord, i wanna mix him and bake him and make him a pretty cake and put him on display and protect him and dsfjkdsfj

So i did the most reasonable thing in the game. I downloaded some mods and now he's my companion, he's keeping me company while i take my long walks crucio-ing enemies around the map haha or taking him to the room of requirement so he can spend some time with the animals- I also like to think he and my character hug when they're standing so closely, i wanna show this boy with a lot of love ohmygod, here's a screenshot!

I think <male character> is the same height as him, but since I put my character [Lian it's his name, pic at the bottom] the quidditch uniform I wanna write something stupid and fluffly like taller quidditch BF takes Ominis on a date, reassures Ominis in everything [cause he does sound kinda hurt/worried in some of his lines, in a soft voice] and jsut tells him he's a sunshine and the everything and anything and places a soft kiss on Ominis' forehead while Reader just holds Ominis with great care and promises to dedicate the next quidditch matches to him and lets Ominis use his quidditch cape or something idk

idk, i just love Ominis and wanna write something heuehehuehehehe

also, here's a pic of Lian, ive been playing him as a morally-gray idiot [im a sucker for those characters], of course he's a slytherin and has pink hair and purple eyes with a badass scar and uses the relic Slytherin robe that does look pretty cool because i have main character syndrome when games let me customize my character LMAO i would let him become a dark wizard if the game let me tbh i'd redeem myself on the next playthrough as a hufflepuff/ravenclaw

Plans for next update

First of all, thank you to everyone who's downloaded the mod! I'm extremely happy to be able to provide a continuation for one of the most beloved mods in Fire Emblem for all of you who have been waiting years for an update.

As you may know, the hug Lucina has in chapter 13 with her mother is only in the female animation set. I've set my sight on adding this hug to the male animation set for the next update, so I'll be trying my hand at getting rid of the placeholder dialogue in favor of proper written chapter 13 scenes while I'm at it. If you'd like to help write the scenes for each of Chrom's new spouses, I encourage you to do so! You don't have to be the person who wrote the original supports, and you writing it means the update will come that much faster.

Following the decision to work on chapter 13, I'd like to make this next update focus pretty heavily on family supports. Taking one look at the spreadsheet shows that there are VERY few PC/Sibling supports coded. Back in the original hack's heyday, it was difficult to code these, and very little incentive to write them because of this. I'd like to encourage people to write and code some more family supports! I will also be changing the submission guidelines to allow all kinds of supports- not just the ones that are UGA-exclusive. This means everything from S supports to platonic chains to the aforementioned family supports.

Several existing family supports that were written for the original GA have kids mentioning their sibling to their mom. This would make things a bit odd without any changes to the paralogue (if Noire mentions her brother in her support with Olivia, why would Olivia be shocked to have a son if you recruit Inigo second?) but I believe I've found a way to add just a bit of alternate text that will allow kids to freely mention their siblings to their mothers in their supports!

Seeing as I have big plans for this next update, I will be upfront and say not to expect it anytime soon. Uni is going to be starting back for me in just a couple weeks, and I don't know how often I'll be able to work on it when it does. As always, I encourage you to join our discord! Not only is it the best place to get live feedback on your support writing, but you'll get access to new supports sooner than everyone else and stay up to date with how the mod is progressing and how far away this update is.

Marry Knight-Paladin Gelebor from Skyrim Dawnguard

Oukay, there are a few mods to do that which go well together depending how far you want to go. I'll put them down here in case anyone needs it. I use Skyrim LE but the mods are probably available for SE as well.

Those are all so far. If you are playing a plot with children involved there are mods with snow elf children you can adopt but I haven't touched those. Yes, these mods come with some other required downloads but I wanted to keep this list as simple as possible. I use NEMESIS for all the animations, even the ones where FNIS is a requirement and so far no problems. Happy storytelling!

I looked into using Chris Hatch's mod that detects/removes the Super Duper Hug Bug from lots, but when I opened a lot nothing happened. I didn't read the instructions at first lol so I was searching the catalog for an object to use, like how Lot Cleaner works, but couldn't find one.

Except Chris Hatch said the mod is an automatic script, so it doesn't require using any objects or any sort of prompts on the user's end to make it function. So theoretically, if nothing happens when you load a lot, it doesn't have the SDHB. Multiple people have said the bug doesn't affect every single lot in your game, just certain ones, so then I thought "Oh this lot must not have it, but apparently The Grimy Fork does."

So I opened The Grimy Fork, but nothing happened again. THEN I thought "Oh maybe it conflicts with BoilingOil's NoSimLoaded, since that suppresses the SDHB." so I took NoSimLoaded out of my Downloads folder and loaded the lot again, but still nothing happened.

And THEN, I thought "Oh this is my Lots & Houses bin copy of The Grimy Fork, maybe the SDHB somehow got activated in the copy I packaged in the zip folder." So I downloaded that and loaded the lot. Nothing again.

Soooo what? Does the mod not work? Is it not actually infected with the SDHB? Am I going insane (probably lol)?

EDIT: Nevermind it does work

But then why did I get a message on GOS telling me The Grimy Fork has the SDHB on it if I can't replicate that problem in my own game?

I thought it was extremely unlikely that I would've actually avoided sharing any lots with the SDHB on it, after sharing 87 of them over 6 years, but after looking into this I'm starting to wonder if that's actually true.

ModTheSims automatically detects lots with the SDHB before letting you upload them (it also warns people who might download it if you click the magnifying glass next to the file name under Download), and it's been a while since I've shared lots on MTS but when I did I never had that warning come up.

ffxiv mod project, maybe?

there is a sizable mod scene for FFXIV, which primarily leans on Dalamud, a third party launcher which is able to hook in custom code to the game as it's running. it's crazy impressive, honestly - there's no dev kit because modding is against TOS, and everything about how the game works had to be reverse engineered from the binary.

the maintainers of Dalamud, understandably nervous about the risks of doing something that is against TOS, are pretty strict about what plugins they will distribute with the program. it's mostly limited to things like UI adjustments.

built on top of Dalamud is another layer of mods, particularly model and texture replacers. there's a stack of mods (Penumbra etc.) that set up this functionality, helpfully collected here. they will let you do stuff like replace your character model, replace gear, replace everything really on a per-character basis. of course there are a lot of nude mods, this is a mod scene and this is ffxiv - but i'm struck by the different sensibility that ffxiv players bring. frustrated by the lack of fat body types? you have several few options, plus the ability to scale parts of your character's skeleton to adjust them further. want a fluffier tail on your catgirl? want your character to be trans? someone's probably got you covered! have a look through aetherlink, xivmodarchive, glamour dresser and (of course) nexus mods.

compared to what we had back in the old days of Bethesda modding, it's an incredibly sophisticated system.

the jewel in the crown of all this is Mare Synchronos, which allows you to use mods to customise your character with new models and the like, and then synchronise your modded appearance to other players using a third-party server run by the devs. when you sync with another player, Mare Synchronos will helpfully download those mods into a folder, and set up your client to apply them to that player. so, this lets you have your modded appearance be seen by others, and only with your explicit consent. you can also create 'syncshells' which allow a whole group of players to synchronise; and many RP venues will run a syncshell.

so, naturally having encountered all this, I start thinking - can I make a mod?

as it turns out, Dalamud plugins are written in good old C#. this is the language I use at work in Unity (for now - Rusty days might be on the horizon), so getting started on this should be a piece of cake really. the question is what I want to do with it once I have got stuck in.

my biggest problem with FFXIV as it stands is like, having two characters interact through animation is a total jankfest. if you want to hug someone, you have to carefully line up your character so you're slightly clipping into them, and then hope that you're positioned right so that when your character hugs the air it's kind of around them. if you want to dance together, you need to try starting repeatedly until you happen to sync up.

in general though, getting two characters, whose sizes and positions are unpredictable, to interact in a realtime animation system is a surprisingly difficult problem.

in games like Dark Souls, when you backstab someone, both characters snap into a backstab position until the animation is over. doing this ensures the animation always lines up properly, but it does look a little silly when the enemy abruptly stops moving and slumps into their 'I am being backstabbed now' state.

even if you do this, animation is so finicky that it's easy to mess up. in Warframe, you can have a pet alien cat dog on your spaceship, and like all modern games must, you can pet the dog, which gives you a short cutscene. but even though the game has full control of both you and your dog, often this animation doesn't line up properly and your character will awkwardly wiggle their hand in the air a few feet away from their pet. this is partly because Warframe has to accomodate a huge range of different sizes of character model, but often it seems like the pet just ends up in the wrong place due to some other game system interfering with its placement.

in theory, you could improve on this by modifying the animations in real time using an Inverse Kinematics (IK) system to adjust the animation and make sure a given bone is in a given place. however, IK is more computationally expensive, and it can only go so far.

for an RP system, I think the way it would make sense for this to work is that you would grant another player consent to take temporary control of your character's animations when they play an emote. Then, we can author some specific multi-character animations, such as hugs, handshakes, dancing together, picking a character up off the ground, and so on. (the obvious use for this is ERP but like, there's way more you can do with it.)

to make this work, we send some kind of plausibly deniable signal through the game that the mod is able to pick up, such as a specific string in chat - or alternatively have a side channel like Mare Synchronos does, but using the game would be a lot easier if you can avoid detection. then, on a modded client, the mod would temporarily override your character's animation data to show you the modded animation, and relinquish it afterwards. to unmodded players, there would be no sign of the mod being used.

conceptually it's simple enough; the devil would be in the details. FFXIV players have already figured out how to modify animation data ingame in GPose, so looking at how that's done would be a good starting point. then, we need to load animations, intercept the game's rendering, and override the skeleton data. that's going to take some digging. we also need to figure out the right way to synchronise it and handle network latency. probably using /tell between players is the right way to go about it: the mod could intercept and remove its messages from the log, and noone else would see it. but this problem might have already been solved by other mods. we could also replace the game's existing emotes, e.g. replace hug with a custom hug.

after that, we'd also need to setup a format for loading sets of animation data, and making sure both players have the data to hand. (this could hook into mare synchronos, hopefully). so we'd need a protocol to handshake two modded clients.

along with all that, we'd need some actual animations! I could come up with a bunch, but to really thrive there would need to be an easy way for other animators to create and share their own.

but like this shit is literally my job lmao so I think I can probably figure it out. i'm gonna try and find out where the ffxiv modders hang out - and if I get anywhere with this project, I'll let you know...

Sims 4 Sweet Life Legacy Challenge

Hi, this is the creator of this challenge! I am not a professional when it comes to making legacy challenges but I try my best! You can find multiple other ways of seeing my progress on doing my own legacies and other fellow simmers legacies as well. I have always been fond of doing legacy challenges, they give me more purpose to play sims in ways that I myself would not know how. Let's be honest sims 4 can be very boring if you don’t have anything planned out, that's why challenges make the game so much better - along with custom content -. If you decide to use my challenge I hope you have fun and enjoy this!

General Rules for this Challenge are pretty simple but I don’t want to make this challenge so easy that people can fly thru each gen like butter.

Generation 1 - Cinnamon

Your parents are and have always been big on their vegetable garden and being complete Vegans. They make money from selling their vegetables all around Henford-On-Bagley. It's their home and they will not leave under no circumstances. You never told them how you are definitely not a vegan. You in fact have a very strong sweet tooth, especially for Cinnamon Rolls. This is your secret from them. Your dream is to get out of Henford-On-Bagley and start your own sweets bakery completely not Vegan.

Aspiration- Master Chef (this is a mod-friendly challenge if you want to use the custom bakery aspiration be my guest)

Career- You make all your simoleons from baking sweets and eventually own your own sweets bakery.

Skills- Cooking, Gourmet Cooking, & Baking

*Start as a child or teen*

*All Three Skills Have To Be Completed to Mastered*

*Must live in Henford-On-Bagley as a teen, but leave once Young Adult*

*Marry the first employee you hire when you open your bakery*

Generation 2 - Starberry Shortcake

Running a bakery with your parents is and has always been fun, free sweets every day. Sadly though when it comes to eating sweets every day you will most likely end up with bad health and bad teeth - aka cavities- not fun. You strive to make a better body for yourself, and more healthy lifestyle. It's not easy and multiple steps up the stairs but you will make it.

Aspiration- Bodybuilder

Career- Athlete *If you master this career before your sim dies you can download a dentist career to fit the storyline.*

Skills- Fitness, Wellness, Snowboarding, skiing, & *optional* rock climbing

*TRY to master fitness skill as a teen*

*Go to Mt. Komorebi every other weekend to master your snowboarding, skiing, & *optional* rock climbing skill*

Generation 3 - Rice Crispy Treat

You have always watched your parent either come home from working looking sweaty, or them picking you up from school and the entire car smelling like sweat. It has and will always gross you out to no avail. It made you nauseous a lot when seeing both your parents sweaty from working out just casually being able to hug, kiss, or do anything with grime on them. This made you end up constantly cleaning the house, the car, EVERYTHING you can see that makes you see dirt. *sigh* Being a clean freak isn’t as easy when all you see is sticky.

Aspiration- Perfectly Pristine

Career- Influencer (you make money from your posts/videos of your positive clean lifestyle)

Skills- If there was a cleaning skill it would be that skill

*Must have the bust the dust kit enabled*

*Keep your house as perfectly clean as possible*

Generation 4 - Smores

Because of your parents' clean freak illness, they put you in scouts. They kept you in scouts from childhood, teenhood till young adult. Lucky for you, you learned a lot being in scouts. How to make smores, make fires, and tie a rope for about anything. Being in the outdoors is the best! Learning more things about the outdoors is all you want in life. You want your firstborn to be born in the outdoors, you want to die in the outdoors. Outdoor life is all you can think about when you get home from scouts. You even asked your parent(s) if you could go camping but they always said no. Now is your chance to let your dreams come true as a young adult!

Aspiration- Outdoor Enthusiast

Career- You make money from your finds. *Bugs, fish, etc*

Skills- Herbalism, & Gardening

*If you have the mod to live in Granite falls you can use that, if not buy an empty lot and constantly vacation to granite falls to explore and make money.*

Generation 5 - Banana Split

Camping has always been a huge thing for your family. Your parent could never get your grandparent to ever visit or join you. So you always had to travel the distance just to see extended family. It was always fun to watch what new buildings appeared and what new stores were made. Seeing cousins, family members and many more was never a hassle it was always a joy just to travel. Once you got your license to drive, no one was ever able to stop you from going off to travel somewhere.

Career- Critic *You are traveling a lot this is a perfect job for your sim*

Skills- Charisma, Logic, & Photography

Generation 6 - Brownie

Because of your very absent parent always traveling claiming it was for their job, they were not in your life that much. It was mostly you and your sibling. You had to learn to cook and clean, make sure that you and your sibling survive without the adult around. There was always money on the table, never had to struggle in that department yet you struggled to be happy. In school, you were bullied for your hair, and your clothes, and when sims found out that your parent was absent in your life the new nickname was now your name *housewife*.

Aspiration- Super Parent

Career- Babysitter

Skills- Parenting

*Always save your money and only spend on needed stuff, aka bills, food, or furniture.*

*Never order out always cook meals for everyone in your household*

*Marry a sim that is already a parent (step-parent life)*

Generation 7 - Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies are the best snack ever in your sim opinion. Your sim parent would always make it for movie nights, after-school snacks even sleepovers! Yet the older they got the more sad you got that those Chocolate Chip Cookies will never be made by them ever again. Then it dawned on you, a lot of things are never gonna be seen or made again. You want to keep all that knowledge, keep everything you know and not let it go away. This got you into collecting things specifically shiny things.

Aspiration- The Curator

Career- Science

Skills- Rocket Science

*Collect all the crystals*

*Build a rocketship and go to Sixam*

Being different has never been harder. Your skin may look and feel like a sim but you don’t sound like one, you don't feel like one, and you definitely don’t act like one. Your sim parent always tried to make you feel included in the sim world teaching you everything about sims, but your alien parent was always making it known where your origin is from. Two different worlds yet it feels so hard to understand either. Getting away from it all and going somewhere new is probably what's best to handle your anxiety. You go to a small town with not that many sims and it's very unknown.

Skills- Programming & Robotics

*Use your robotics skill to make your best friend a robot*

Romance *sigh* the most romantic thing to see is two sims falling in love and sharing their compassion for one another. You watched your parents love blossom all the time, and you even witnessed the robot family members have a loving relationship blossom! You crave that feeling one day. The warm gushy mushy feeling in your gut. Your heart pounding just being near the one you love. Watching romance movies and having celebrity crushes will never fill the void in your heart you want real love, you want a real sim to share your feelings with.

A dozen is most common when buying doughnuts right? Either six or twelve no in between unless it's a full party. You love parties, you thrive for nights out and attending parties, and you love throwing secret parties your sim parent never knows about. It's the best and most thrilling thing to do. Especially since you have a dozen siblings meaning the house parties you throw will be massive. You are always excited about your young adult life growing up because all you want to do is throw parties and go to clubs to party some more.

Aspiration- Party Animal
