Reasons why they got akumatized... Part 1

Sayaka Maizono

She was performing with her idol band in the park. One of the members was very jealous of Sayaka being in the spotlight. During the concert, the said jealous member sabotaged Sayaka's performance, humilinating her infront of her fans. Sayaka was hurt and sad that one of her friends did such a thing, even tho she cared about members of the band. Kiyotaka Ishimaru -He was a candidate for Student Council president. He lost because of the gossip about the scandal featuring his grandfather as the prime minister. Taka was upset not because he lost, but because once again his family's name was ruined. Aoi Asahina

She participated in pool race in Swimming Club. She did not win, but she was not feeling bad about it… until some girls in locker room started to laugh at her failure. Aoi was sad because she did not understand why they were mean to her Byakuya Togami

He had an argument with his father, who was the CEO of Togami Corp. During the argument, Byakuya's father threatened that Byakuya won't be a heir of the company if he keeps acting "arrogant". Byakuya was very mad but also worried if his father would really disown him. Toko Fukawa

She wrote a very poetic love letter for Byakuya, and held it while going to him. But she suddenly tripped over, dropping the letter. Some mean girls read it and laughed at her. Toko ran away to bathroom and sobbed in the cabin. Mondo Owada

He and his brother Daiya were normally getting well. Soon Mondo got tired of living in Daiya's shadow. What else, Daiya was kinda overprotective of Mondo. And of course at some point they had a fight. Sakura Ogami

She participated in boxing in Martial Arts Club. Her oppotent teased and nagged her, but she tried to focus. Until the said oppotent made fun out of Aoi, which made Sakura snap and go furious. Although she won, she was still very mad that someone hurted her best friend. Leon Kuwata -He decided to start following his dream to become a musican, and went to casting for new Rock Club at school. But he did not pass, plus some idiot said he is wasting his actual talent (being a baseballist), that his trainer would be disappointed at him (trainer is an ex-baseball star), that he barely can play anything and other dumb stuff. It really pissed Leon off, and you know he is a hot-head. Celestia Ludenberg

She decided to invite her classmates for a tea party, but no one showed up. It was because people did not trust Celeste. She felt lonely, so she went to casino again… Hifumi Yamada

He was known for watching Transformer-ish and Superhero anime's, but he secretly liked Princess Piggles. Someone found Princess Piggles in Hifumi's backpack, and they bullied him. He was very embarrased yet mad at bullies. Chihiro Fujisaki

He became a target of some jocks who teased him because of looking weak and frail for a boy. He wanted to defend himself, but he felt weaker and weaker… When bullies walked away, he could not help but silently cry. Yasuhiro Hagakure

In AU he is a student in Psychology University. He had a trouble with a bully, which he owed money from. He was very paranoid of what would happen if he don't pay…

Although I really appreciate that you like my art - I'm gonna be honest, I'm probably not gonna draw L.eon again unless I'm commissioned.

I'm not as big of a fan of the series anymore and L.eon isn't among the small handful of characters I still adore and will take requests of.

Idk if you know anything about Danganronpa, but I love it so much rn. I've only just gotten into it, and I already love it just from the first game lol

If you can't already tell just but my pfp, my main F/O rn is Leon Kuwata. I love him, his voice, his design, even some of his sprites are hilarious or just appealing. I felt like he deserved so much better, and I know that when I actually watch the anime, his death will destroy me.

I was already sad from when it happened in the game, but in the anime, I know it'll be worse.

Anyway, I just hate that I don't know many Danganronpa fans besides @toasty-self-shipping & @ava-ships .

In fact, Ava is the reason I wanted to learn about Danganronpa! I wanted to know who her F/O was, plus know more about the other characters. I only had F/Oed one person in the beginning, which was Sakura, because I love big muscular women lol, but that was just based on her looks.

I love her still, but even more after the game. But now I have 4 Danganronpa F/Os! Two being polyamorous.

Leon had been on my mind the longest, and he still is! I wish I knew how to draw him and the other characters so I could make ship art and other things.

But, anime style is hard to replicate. Especially since they have such small details that I might forget.

Though, I still want to make a self insert, even though I haven't had many ideas for one.

Anyway, sorry for rambling, I just really love the game & characters!

At least!! The. First one. I only got through half the second one and haven’t touched the third one fhdjd BUT!! YEAAA I have noticed and honestly it made me pretty happy and nostalgic seeing Leon from you! Please this ultimate baseball player would say some cheesy line like “heh, really hit the home run finding someone as great as you”

Honestly, looking back, if talked into it I would definitely bring back Kiyotaka and Naegi to the f/o mix bc honestly, I remember I really liked them! I’d be absolutely down to join you guys in the dangit grandpa f/o pool

this just in! miss sayaka maizono doesn’t pay attention to anyone but herself!

this is a plot point that always bothered me. sayaka was clever enough to go through all the trouble of setting up makoto as a scapegoat, but not enough to pick one of the numerous less-athletic individuals to murder???
