A ⇴ AFFECTION

One thing that Hyukjae is big on is affection with you, whenever you’re within reaching distance, he’ll be right by your side with his arms either around your waist or his hand holding onto yours, closing the distance tightly.

He kept sneaking off for quite a while in the build up to his proposal, turning to Donghae especially to help him out quite a lot of the time, as he wasn’t able to ask you for help like he usually did. Together the two of them got everything set up, with Donghae there to calm Hyukjae down all the time too.

Hyukjae’s favourite thing about being with you was how similar you were to him and how well the two of you got along. The two of you tended to like the same things and share similar opinions on a lot of things too, knowing what the other thought before they’d even said it. At times, Donghae couldn’t help but feel threatened by how well you and Hyukjae got on, not wanting you to take his spot as Hyukjae’s best friend.

Most nights you’d find yourselves going out due to Hyukjae’s work commitments, with companies often organising get togethers for staff and MCs. With him becoming so popular amongst other idols too, you often attended concerts and events for other groups, especially when Hyukjae needed to do some research.

The two of you decided that a honeymoon wasn’t something that was particularly important to either of you when you got married, instead you were quite keen to spend some time with family. It had been a long time since you’d had a full week without schedule, and so home was where you felt was the right place to be.

If there was one thing that Hyukjae never tired of saying to you, it was the fact that he loved you. Out of the two of you, you were actually the one that got more jealous after you got married, as Hyukjae got more and more popular. It felt like only a matter of time for the two of you to start your family after you got married. Whenever the two of you both had a day off, you made sure to enjoy it from start to finish in the comfort of your own home. There was nowhere that the two of you wanted to go on a lazy day, if you were honest just leaving your beds was a chore when you had nothing to get up for, often enjoying just being able to lay with each other and slowly wake yourselves up rather than rushing to an alarm.

Most mornings Hyukjae was up before you, but he could never be quiet enough not to end up waking you too. Quite a lot of the time you’d be disturbed by him dropping his phone or slamming a wardrobe drawer shut, apologising most mornings as he turned around to see your open eyes looking back at him.

One of the things that Hyukjae enjoyed doing in the evenings with you was face packs. He felt the pressure to look good these days and doing it with you helped him to stick to his routine to keep his skin looking fresh.

In contrast to the intense and sometime semi-rough nights, the mornings are filled with sweet nothings and butterfly kisses

Eunhyuk Headcanon - You Have a Dance Performance Together and He Confesses

Requested by anon: Could you do the eunhyuk fanfic that the reader is the idol of SM.They have dance performance together and eunhyuk confess to reader？

A/N: I decided to make it a headcanon to give myself a tiny break from imagines for him since there have been a lot. I do hope you don’t mind.

The collab was a mutual agreement between the two of you

Throughout the dance practices if you were having trouble, Hyukjae was there to help breakdown a move

When it came to recording the song you were there to help him with the singing part if he felt like the key was a bit too far out of his range

All throughout rehearsals the two of you would be messing around wanting to extend the time you two had together

During breaks the two of you would eat together, often ordering take out

More than once however, you had woken up just a bit earlier and made food for the both of you

(Totally not to impress him with your cooking skills)

Over these lunch meetings (lowkey dates man) the two of you got to know each other very well

Romantic feelings soon began developing between the two of you although both of you were scared to act on them

As the day for the release of the song neared, stress ran high and the pressure to perfect everything for the first live performance was very noticeable

When the day finally arrived, you were beyond nervous afraid that you would mess up the entire performance

Mainly because you didn’t want to disappoint the man you had developed a crush on

(You could never disappoint him unless you tell him no when he confesses to you, but we’ll get to that in a bit)

You were beginning to stress yourself to the point where you looked like you were gonna vomit backstage

Hyukjae noticed immediately and comforted you

“You’re gonna kill it! You’ve worked too hard to turn back now. Let’s go on and give it everything we’ve got.”

True to his word, the performance was perfect

Better than perfect actually

Walking off the stage you threw yourself into Hyukjae’s arms hugging him tightly before letting go and apologizing bashfully

He was quick to pull you back into his arms hugging you tightly before muttering something into your hair

“I really like you (y/n). These past few months have only made that even clearer to me.”

You hugged him back relaxing against his chest before lifting you head and placing a chaste kiss on his lips before running off him chasing after you

Eventually you came to a stop in front of your dressing room

“Change and then dinner?”

“Sounds perfect.”

To say the least there were many more dinners after that one

DAD SUPER JUNIOR A⇴Z HEADCANON ⇴ Lee Hyukjae

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Hyukjae loves affection, and your baby bump provides him with the perfect excuse to be even more affectionate with you. He loves to be as close to you and your bump as possible, with his arms wherever he can comfortably rest them.

B ⇴ BUMP

Your bump was Hyukjae’s pride, whenever the two of you were out in public, he would have his arms around it to shield you from other people, and when you were at home, he would always keep his arms wrapped around it to protect you from bumping into things around the house or comforting any sore spots that you had.

C ⇴ CRAVINGS

The kitchen wasn’t exactly Hyukjae’s strength, and so when you were craving, he would often be quick to find the nearest takeout menu or grab his car keys and head straight to the store for you. As long as your cravings were satisfied, he didn’t care how he got you the food, so long as you had it as quickly as possible.

D ⇴ DUE DATE

Your due date was something you tried to ignore as much as possible as you knew it would only be more unnecessary pressure on the two of you. The two of you were happy working at your own pace towards your due date, doing things when you were ready, and as you couldn’t know for sure that your due date would be the date that you’d go into labour, you tried to focus more on the week around your due date for your end goal.

E ⇴ EMOTIONS

Hyukjae had always wanted for the chance to become a dad, but as it finally began to happen for him, it was an incredibly overwhelming experience for him. Of course, he knew that pregnancy was going to come with plenty of highs and lows, but he could never quite imagine how high the highs would be and how low the lows would be for the two of you as you tried to navigate the new adventure that you were on.

F ⇴ FAMILY

With the two of you living with his family in their new home, you knew that you were going to be well supported in your pregnancy. Hyukjae especially couldn’t wait to start a family with his mum right by his side and give her something to look forward to with a grandchild on the way. It was an emotional moment for all of you when you sat down one evening and decided to tell the trio your happy news.

G ⇴ GENDER

You knew as soon as the test back as positive that Hyukjae was going to want to find out what you were having. Patience was far from his strength, and as the excitement built throughout your pregnancy you knew he would want to go through all of that knowing whether a boy or a girl was going to come from it.

H ⇴ HEARTBEAT

Hearing the beat of your baby’s heart was by far one of Hyukjae’s proudest moments, knowing that he was half responsible for that life. It was the connecter of the dots that he needed to let it sink in that he really was about to become a dad and that his baby was growing well inside of your bump as well.

I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”

Whilst you were trying to sleep at night, Hyukjae would often whisper those three little words into your ear to calm you down. He hated seeing you struggle to fall asleep, and so would try and comfort you as best as he could so that you didn’t get even more frustrated with the lack of rest that your body was receiving.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

There was a side of Hyukjae that he always wanted people to see on screen, but those who knew him personally knew that there were times he could get jealous too, especially whilst you were pregnant. He was incredibly protective of the two of you, and when he felt like he was getting overshadowed or ignored, his face would be an easy giveaway to everyone that he wasn’t impressed with what was going on.

K ⇴ KICKS

His hands were always feeling around for kicks, usually distracting you from whatever it was that you were doing. Hyukjae couldn’t help but grab onto you when you were nearby, innocently smiling when he stopped you from doing what you were doing, enjoying the feeling of your baby kicking instead much more.

L ⇴ LABOUR

Hyukjae was terrified of the uncertainty that labour bought, although he trusted that you’d be in safe hands, with those hands not always being his own worried him slightly. It was something that he knew wasn’t going to be easy, but he had never prepared for himself for just how intense the whole experience would be, especially when the cries of your baby finally filled the room several hours later.

M ⇴ MORNING SICKNESS

You were terrified of waking Hyukjae up in the mornings when he was so busy with work, and so you usually tried to sneak into the bathroom. However, as soon as he rolled over to an empty bed, he’d know where you were, and would be straight in the bathroom to comfort you despite your protests for him to go back to bed.

N ⇴ NURSERY

The nursery was something that Hyukjae was excited for in principle, but when it came to building, he didn’t have a clue. Luckily, his dad was around to help out a lot and instruct his son, with his sister chipping in too.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Hyukjae was obsessed with your body and how incredible it looked whilst pregnant, he couldn’t get enough of you as he watched you grow, especially towards the end of your pregnancy with your bump on full show too.

P ⇴ POST BIRTH

He was by your side almost all the time after you’d given birth, terrified that something might happen to you. He was nervous at the best of times, especially now that you had your baby who relied on you both, and so he made sure that you didn’t push yourself too hard too quickly and took your time with everything.

Q ⇴ QUESTIONS

When you couldn’t sleep at night, Hyukjae would always ask if you were there was anything he could do, often taking you by surprise with the sound of his voice as you anticipated him being fast asleep beside you.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

The one thing Hyukjae couldn’t wait for was letting the world know that he was a dad, and so in order to prepare for all of this, he bought plenty of matching outfits that him and your baby could wear in public so everyone could see how much of a proud dad he was and make sure they knew that your baby was his too.

S ⇴ SCANS

Photos from your appointments were scattered all over your home so Hyukjae always had them around to look at. He couldn’t get enough of your scan photos as he tried to piece together every part of your baby’s body, especially as the months passed and your baby continued to grow into full term.

T ⇴ TEST

You ended up surprising Hyukjae with your positive test after he came back from a couple of weeks of promotion. The last thing you wanted to do was tell him over the phone, and so you waited until he was home to share your news.

U ⇴ ULTRASOUND

Hyukjae was by your side at every single appointment, work was forgotten about, and his schedule fixed around his days off to support you.

V ⇴ VISITS

Living with his family meant your baby had guests as soon as you arrived home ready to adore them. Despite having plenty of help at home, the boys were desperate to come around and visit too, just in case you needed more help.

W ⇴ WAITING

Hyukjae could barely contain himself, whilst he enjoyed every moment of pregnancy, he couldn’t wait for your baby to arrive just as much.

He loved to kiss against your cheek whenever he hugged you from behind. His hands would rest against your bump whilst he would kiss against your cheek, whispering into your ear as he checked to see how you were doing.

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Hyukjae loves to be affectionate with you, he loves to hug you and make you feel special, no matter where the two of you are. He loves to receive affection from you, especially when you run your hands through his hair.

B ⇴ BEFORE DATING

It didn’t take long for the two of you to start talking, Hyukjae liked to talk to most people, and you were no different. But what was different, was how drawn to you he was. There was something about you that intrigued him and made him smile. He knew there was only one answer to what was causing him to feel that way, he was definitely falling for you.

C ⇴ CONFESSION

He was a nervous wreck before confessing to you, his confidence abandoned him completely as the two of you sat to dinner that night. He was terrified to tell you how he felt because he wasn’t sure how you felt. Luckily, as he told you how he felt, you were quick to let him know they were the exact same feelings that you felt for him. As you spoke, he couldn’t help but sigh in relief, reaching for your hand across the table.

D ⇴ DATES

Dates were always important to him, he always made sure to make an effort, even if it was just a night in at one of your houses. Most of the time he loved to take you to live events, concerts, dance shows, musical theatre, anything that involved music or dance were his favourites. But he also liked to show you the dedicated side of him too, he’d try hard to cook whenever you went to the dorm for a date night, and on special occasions he’d always make sure to book a table at a nice restaurant. He was up for anything with you, it never mattered where you were or what you did.

E ⇴ EXPERIENCE

He’d had a few dates, a couple of very brief relationships, but nothing serious ever came from anything previously to you. He was very dedicated to his work, and he wanted someone in his life that would appreciate that part of him. When the initial honeymoon phase went away, he often saw many people walk away from him, but you were different. For the first time he felt like he had something really special with you, he trusted you a lot more than anyone else and believed you when you told him you weren’t going anywhere.

F ⇴ FIGHTING

There had definitely been a few major arguments between the two of you, at times Hyukjae could be quite stubborn which meant solving an argument wasn’t easy. But you’d always find a way to figure things out too and talk about the properly. He could never focus properly at work knowing that you weren’t speaking to each other, although he’d never shout, he’d definitely make it clear that he believed he was in the right. He’d always get nervous when he eventually came home, but you’d soon apologise as soon as you saw him, as would he, there was no feeling worse than when the two of you weren’t speaking.

G ⇴ GETTING TO KNOW HIS FAMILY

You were very aware of how close his family were, especially his sister Sora. When Hyukjae told him, he had found someone they were excited to meet you as soon as they could, taking you by surprise. When they finally saw in person how smiley Hyukjae was with you around, they accepted you instantly and began to tell you all of Hyukjae’s embarrassing stories.

H ⇴ HOME

He’d moved back to the dorm as he hated being alone, there was no way he was going to move out again unless he had you there with him. After a few months, Hyukjae suggested that the two of you started looking for a place together. It was a big step for you both to take, but one he also knew he was more than ready for.

I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”

Hyukjae was the first to say, ‘I love you,’ after coming back from a D&E promotion. You were all he’d thought about for the entire trip, it took a lot more out of him than he thought. The one thing he realised spending so much time away from you, was that he loved you. As soon as he saw you waiting at the airport his arms wrapped you and greeted you with those three special words.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

He tries hard to mask his jealousy, but he definitely can get jealous. He comes across as confident, but he certainly has his own insecurities too and worries a lot when he sees you around other people. Your relationship is something he will protect to no end, if he feels threatened, he’s more than happy to walk up to you and kiss the top of your head or pull you closely into his side. He knows that you can get jealous too, with his work of line, it’s only natural, but he’ll always remind you that you’re the one he goes home too.

K ⇴ KIDS

Having children was something that Hyukjae had always wanted, he was always so good with kids at fan events. Once he found the right girl, he knew it was something he wanted to discuss quickly so he knew you’d want them too. Seeing him around children only confirmed how much of an amazing dad Hyukjae would become, after a little while in your own place, the two of you definitely decided that maybe it was time to think about kids.

L ⇴ LAUGHTER

You were drawn quite quickly to his laugh when the two of you first met, seeing the creases around his eyes and his wide mouth brought a smile to your face. He was incredible at making you laugh; he’d had plenty of practice throughout his years of presenting to know how to put a smile on someone’s face. At the end of a long day, he always knew how to make you smile and happy again. If the mood in the room was ever quiet or glum, you could always count on Hyukjae to come out with something to brighten everything back up again.

M ⇴ MISSING

He never wanted to be the boyfriend who struggled with even the slightest bit of distance, but he really did. It always felt lonely without you there, which had always been something he struggled with. Every time he went on tour, he made sure to leave you a shirt or a jumper that you could sleep with and remind you of him, whilst he also stole a bottle of your perfume to carry with him. He’d call you as often as he could in between his busy schedule, but when your time zones changed that wasn’t always so easy. Donghae especially would try and bring a smile back to his face, but it was never an easy task to stop him missing you.

Your nickname for him was fairly simple, ‘Hyuk,’ would normally be how you’d call him, similarly for him, he’d find a way to shorten your name that he liked, saving sweet nicknames for the times when they were really called for.

He was obsessed with your body, he loved to have it nice and close to him to be able to hold. His hands would always be exploring, he just couldn’t help himself, he loved to try and push the boundaries.

P ⇴ PDA

It very much depended on his mood whether he’d be affectionate with you in public. He’d always at least hold your hand, but if he were needy or craving your attention, he wouldn’t be afraid to trail a few kisses along your neck to try and get your attention. You’d try and brush him aside, but he’d grip onto you a little bit tighter until he got his way.

He’d often ask questions at night when the two of you began to sleep. That was when he had his most random thoughts, which he loved to hear your opinion on. The two of you spent hours staying up and talking about all sorts of theories and ideas.

On one of your first dates, you surprised him with a headband as you remembered him saying he hated how his hair covered his face on stage. Ever since then, he’d worn it for every performance, without fail. If his costume included a headband, he’d hide yours underneath, or if he were supposed to keep his hair messy, he’d wrap the band around his wrist. It slowly became a bit of a good luck charm for him that he never wanted to let go of.

Hyukjae is the perfect mix between very loving and very playful. He doesn’t let the mood get too serious very often, just like his affection, he likes to push the boundaries and see how much he can get away with. His hands are often all over your body, whilst yours tend to run through his hair as you know how much he loves the feeling. He always has the biggest smile on his face, unable to hide the blush on his cheeks.

Whenever a moment appears in his day, he’s usually checking his phone for a text from you. If there’s nothing there, he’ll find something to text you about, just so when he goes back to his phone again, he can see a text from you.

Holidays never bothered Hyukjae too much, but when he met you, he was determined to try and find a week, or even a few days, in the year where the two of you could go away. It didn’t matter where you both went; he was desperate for you to escape together for a while.

His kisses were usually his way of telling you that he wanted you to spend a bit of time with him, or that he wanted a bit of reassurance. If you dared to deny him a kiss, he’d follow you around and get in your way with pouted lips until you finally kissed him. You’d always be able to feel his smile when his lips pressed to yours making you smile too.

Eunhyuk: First Kiss

Meeting Eunhyuk was one the most interesting moments of your life. It was like taking a page out of those drama you watch on TV.

“Oh my god! I’m so sorry!”, he apologised as he ran to get some napkins.

You sighed, looking at your shirt that has been stained by the iced coffee of the stranger.

“Just not my goddamn day!” you quietly rage as you took out some wet wipes from your bag to try to rid the stain away.

The stranger came back with his hands full of napkins, “here! I am really sorry, let me compensate you!”, he offers apologetically.

You clicked your tongue, slightly annoyed, “it’s fine,”

After you realised that you were going to have to go through the whole day with the giant stain on your shirt, you gave up and finally looked up. You were ready to send daggers at his direction, but when you saw the stranger looking guilty and apologetic, you couldn’t.

“Let me repay you, please,”, the stranger offers as he put his hands together.

“It’s fine, really. I’m in a rush anyway,”, you replied. You took your bag and adjusted your clothes and headed for the door.

“Wait!”, he calls out.

You saw him placing his notebook down and writing something before tearing it off to pass to you. “This is my number, I feel really bad. Whenever you are free, please text me, I will compensate you. Please,”

You raised your brows but took the paper anyway. “Okay, if you insist,”

Long story short, you took the leap of faith and contacted him. He replied almost immediately and the two of you got to talking. Day goes by, and you two were still talking. There were never a lull moment when you exchange texts. One day, Eunhyuk finally asked you out to a basketball game this weekend, in which you agree to go a little too fast.

Both of you agreed to meet at the arena entrance. You decided on a simple shirt, a pair of jeans with your favourite converse sneakers. Sport event enough, you thought. When you reach the entrance, you saw Eunhyuk waving at you. Your heart skipped a beat a you walked over to him and then headed inside.

“Who’s side are you on?”, he asks.

You looked over at the court, “definitely the one with the highest score,”, earning a laugh from him.

The game finally start and you see Eunhyuk screaming and shouting. He was covering his mouth, leaning forward, praying, was he praying? He whispers to you, “I think we are losing,”

You see how Eunhyuk is almost close to falling off his seat with how much he is leaning forward. Literally at the edge of his seat. The whistle for half time shocked you, “intense,” he commented. You just nodded.

Eunhyuk took the opportunity to ask about you. He asked about your work, what you like to do and he asked if you are enjoying your time. It was like you two were in your own little bubble in the sea of fanatic crowd. As you talked, you start noticing how the crowd were suddenly getting rowdy. You looked away for a while and kiss cam, you answered yourself.

Eunhyuk smiled as the both of you paused and look at the screen. The camera zoomed at an elderly couple, and they kissed cutely earning awws and oohs from the crowd. The camera then panned and zoomed at a teenage couple. They didn’t hesitate and the crowd was clapping and hollering.

You smiled, and faced Eunhyuk to ask him about his day. The crowd then became loud again, and you turned away from him to look at the screen.

Shit, you thought as you covered your face. You looked back to Eunhyuk, and he just tilted his head with the small smile peeking out.

“Do you want to?”, he asks.

The crowd hollered louder and the people around you were shouting “kiss kiss kiss!”

“What the hell right?”, you reply.

Eunhyuk took the sides of your face and gently pulled you closer to him. When your lips touch, it was the most amazing feeling ever. You felt the noise around you settled to nothing, and at that moment it was only you and him. Eunhyuk’s lips were soft and sweet, his breath ragged. He sets the pace and you followed. His kiss was gentle, soft, attentive

Your heart was racing so fast and you felt the heat settling at the back of your neck. His lips moves slowly and smoothly and you feel the warmth of his lips. It was too addictive.

The cheering got louder. Eunhyuk slightly bit you bottom lips before he painfully pulled away. Kissing him left you breathless and all flushed. His hands left the sides of your face and you were startled when he held your hand. Eunhyuk smiled at you and waved at the camera with the other hand. The clapping got louder and you tried your best to hide your embarrassment.

“We will continue this later,” he leans in to whisper at you. Before you could even react, the whistle blows again and he starts leaning forward to focus on the game.

Oh my god, you thought as you tried to calm down your excited heart.

Summary: Eunhyuk has a crush with you, an idol, and he can't help to hide his love for you anymore.

MASTERLIST

You took a glance behind you and saw him fixing his jacket, and thought he looked so handsome.

“Are you ready?” you asked once he approached you.

“Yes, I think so...” he smiled. “You look gorgeous today.”

You could feel the heat spreading in your cheeks. “Thanks. You look handsome, as always.”

Eunhyuk’s smile was wider. He was so nervous. Since he was told that you wanted to have this colaboration with him, Eunhyuk couldn’t contain his joy. He was your biggest fan and had a huge crush with you, but of course, he wouldn’t say it out loud. Not yet.

The host announced your names and you went to the stage to get ready. When Black Suit started, you danced and sang along with him.

The choreography was made for a couple to dance. It was sexy and full of energy for the song. Eunhyuk couldn't look away from your shape whenever you danced some feet away from him. You were graceful and your movements kept him attached to you. Sometimes you even touched his body and it just gave him chills.

After the song ended, you received cheers from the crowd. Eunhyuk got you pressed to his body with a final pose and his hand on your waist. You both walked to the back stage trying to recover your breath and swiping off the sweat. People greeted you and Eunhyuk for having such an amazing performance.

"You did it amazing" he said after you stood up at the door of your dressing room.

"You did great too!" you smiled. "It was fantastic!"

"It was an honor... to work with you, Y/N. I'm your fan" Eunhyuk confessed.

"Thanks, I really don't know what to say" you replied.

Eunhyuk started to feel nervous, he wasn't going anywhere. He liked you a lot, so he needed to say it, he was still waiting for the right moment, but the feeling was getting stronger and stronger every moment. He even didn't know how he was able to contain himself at dance practices.

"Well, I have something to say..." Eunhyuk bit his lip. "I like you. I really like you, like I have a crush on you since years ago, but I never thought that we could work together. So, I like you."

You let out a cute giggle. "I like you too."

Eunhyuk's was surprised suddenly and his face made you laugh even more. "Really?!"

"Yes, I do. Would you like to go out maybe?"

"S-Sure."

You smiled. "Great, then just wait for me a few minutes and I'll meet you."

"Okay, great!" Eunhyuk smiled, his cheeks red. "I'll wait for you on my dressing room."

He turned around and walked away, but you took his hand before he left.

"Eunhyuk" you said. His eyes connected with yours. "Thanks for taking care of me these past few days."

He nodded and smiled sweetly for you, he was speechless. You hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Eunhyuk rubbed your sides with his hands, you could stay forever in his arms like this. When you broke the gesture, he pecked your lips slightly.

"I'll be waiting."

Eunhyuk walked away and you were left on the hallway in shock. When his figure disappeared, you brushed your lips with your fingertips. You couldn't wait to meet him again.

Eunhyuk: The Moment He Knew He Love You

-it was really a casual day. you two decided to go to the park nearby for a breath of fresh air, and maybe get ice cream.

-the park was surprisingly crowded, kids running, parents chasing.

-you both walked along the trail, hands intertwined as you go on about your day. You told Eunhyuk about how excited you are for your new project, and how grateful you are to be given the opportunity to lead.

-he smiles, nodding occasionally. at times, even asking you how you’re gonna deal with it.

-a ball suddenly rolled along your path and stopped in front of you. You picked it up and looked around for the owner, giving Eunhyuk a puzzled look.

-not too long after, a little kid came running to you, pointing his little fingers in your direction.

-”babe, its his”, Eunhyuk nudged you.

-as the little kid came closer, you squat down to match his eye level. “is this yours?” you asked gently.

-the kid nodded his head, took the ball and walked a few steps before he started crying.

-both of you were flustered, the kid was looking everywhere and you both realised he may have lost his parents. You look at Eunhyuk, and he looked at you. “Babe, try to look out!”, you urged him.

-while Eunhyuk walked away, you kneeled in front of him and wiped his tears. ”heyy, don’t cry. We will help you find your mummy.”

-after he calmed down, “hey do you want a sweet?!” you eagerly asked, reaching into your pocket.

-the kid hesitated but when you start doing the aeroplane trick, he got intrigued and played along. You then tried to play with him with the ball, rolling and kicking it to him.

-”babeeeee!” you hear the familiar voice. Eunhyuk walked over to you, with another lady. The lady immediately rushed to the kid as soon as he saw him. You stood there as the lady thanked you.

-Eunhyuk, still from a far, saw you taking care of the kid. And for the first time, he got excited about starting a future with you. There wasn’t any butterflies in his stomach like in the books, but seeing you looking so fondly at the kid made him realise that he definitely want to be with you. Seeing the kid waving goodbyes to you suddenly got his life flashing in front of him, and in all of it, you were most definitely inside.

-He didn’t feel like his heart was gonna burst from realising his love for you, instead, calamity took over and he was sure, more than ever, that he has fallen in love with you.

-Eunhyuk rushed over to your side and you both continued the walk, “what a scare, right”, you laughed.

-Eunhyuk just hummed in response and stopped in his tracks, “babygirl, I love you.”

-You too stopped, unsure if you’re hearing it right, but when he looked at you with the sincerity in his eyes, you know it was real.

-”I love you too.”

-Eunhyuk softly grabbed the sides of you head, ghosting his thumb over your lips, “god, i love you,”, before closing in the gap to kiss you gently.
