Honda’s stats are so bad. Between Marc and Joan, they have a gran total of 24 crashes, and none o them had competed in all the weekends.
Marc has had 5 crashes in less than 48 hours.
That bike is a fucking hazzard. Either you chill and end up in P15 or you fight and crash. This can’t be the way, FIM, DORNA, IRTA and MotoGP needs to do something about this because at this rate, we will not be talking about crashes with the Honda

bezzecchi knows he can’t stay in vr46 forever, and of course he wants to ride an official motorbike. yamaha wants a satellite team for 2025, vr46 seemed to be the chosen one but pertamina (vr46's biggest sponsor) doesn't want yamaha. pramac and lcr are also in yamaha's sights. one between vr46 and gresini will be the next pramac (could be gresini bc marc won’t change another bike to go on ktm and he won’t give up to his redbull sponsor to go to ducati factory sponsored by monster). bez could easily go to the team that will have the official yamaha for 2025 and in this way valentino would be able to save morbidelli (who I assure you is already more outside than inside pramac)
there’s a reason marco didn’t renew for 2 years 😉
Anon unless you don't bring me receipts I'm not going to completely believe it ☺️ I agree that it's unlikely that Marc will switch bike again but never say never. And while yeah franco is probably not getting renewed by pramac give him a couple more race before calling him washed I'm with the Italian comms on this one
Also if I see Marco getting in a twelve kilometers range from a yamaha seat I'm going to kill all the executives, vale and them myself ☺️

Hey, hope you're doing well 😊
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog and the works that you post. You just have a style of writing that I like very much and makes me want to read more, even if it's about a driver or scenario that I typically wouldn't gravitate towards.
I was also hoping you might be able to help me with something. I noticed that a while back you posted some works about MotoGP and I want to broaden my motorsport interest/knowledge outside of F1 and its associated series. I watched the race last weekend and have to admit I was quite lost for the most part about how everything works and who is who besides a few names I recognized 😅
So I was wondering if maybe could recommend some blogs on here, creators on other platforms, YouTube videos or something like that that could help someone as lost as me understand motoGP a bit more.
Absolutely no worries if you don't want to, I just wanted to try my luck since you always seem so nice 😊
hi anon! first off, thanks for your kind words <3 i love whenever i have the chance to talk about motogp to anyone so of course I’ll help you out!
i started watching motogp in early 2019 because my cousin was watching a race and i thought it was interesting. i understand your confusing because trust me, i was confused as hell when i watched my first motogp race.
the official motogp youtube channel actually posted some helpful videos, in my opinion, about learning the basics to motogp.
motogp explained
race start
track limits
manufacturers and teams
of course they’re a big old (like two or three) but they’re still informative enough. i did send this video to a friend who also wanted to get into watching motogp.
yammie noob | motogp guide

here’s some races i love:

The entire 2006 season (personally, The Valencia GP)
here’s the current teams, riders and their racing number for the 2024 season :)

Borrowed from No al Motociclismo Moderno FB page :
“Swissauto V4 500 two stroke: (maybe) the best two stroke engine ever built.
Born from Urs Wenger's "pencil", initially born to replace their 4-in-line sidecars, he made his debut in 1995 on Rolf Biland's LCR sidecar, who finished second, winning four races.
The engine immediately developed a significant maximum power (180hp) and the secret was in its configuration: a single engine shaft but only two crank chambers, that is, each V worked in sync, with two ignitions at a time, almost a natural "big bang", so less friction, less load losses fluidodynamics and output was immediately high.
The V was 108°, the slate intake in the cranket and the weight was incredibly low: 37kg, that is the same as April 250 and 7kg less than the Yamaha 0WD3.
In the meantime, Wenger tried to install the propeller in a '93 Harris chassis, doing a first test on the track and got the interest of Serge Rosset (ROC), whose headquarters were 200km away from Swissauto.
The turning key to the realization of the Swissauto motorbike was the intervention of Swiss entrepreneur Michel Métraux, president of IRTA and committed sponsor of all the best Swiss GP drivers, as well as owner of the Parisienne 250GP team of the mid-1980s and the Swiss Automotive Group of Métraux which included the Swiss distributor of ELF lubricants, one of the reasons why all the bikes it sponsored for over twenty years always carried ELF stickers. From there, gaining the support of the French multinational to support the development of a brand new all-European 500GP motorcycle, was only one formality and at the '95 GP of Catalonia the agreement was announced: the elf was returning to the 500 after seven years of absence.
The Swissauto engine raced in the World Cup from 1995 to 1997 with the LCR sidecars, in 1996 and 1997 with the Elf-ROC, in 1998 and 1999 with the MuZ, after which the Swiss house, with the amendment of the sidecar regulation allowing the 1000 4-stroke, decided to withdraw.
In 2001, with the name Pulse, the elf reappeared in the Moto World Cup 500.
For the record, the Swiss V4 was installed on a Proton KR chassis in 1999 (a prototype that never raced) and starred in one of the most monumental April Fools' Day in motoring history: the Aprilia 500 V4.
But that's another story.”

Do I like all the Fermín praises? Yes, but not if it means he is put at the Honda's orbit (to LCR)

is lcr really bad or does it just favor a certain type of rider? is rins a miracle maker? this doesn't feel like a fluke; hopefully the team can learn from this weekend and keep the momentum.
