About the Players:

Pokémon Violet is being played by one-half of a dynamic duo (Taz/Trina of tazsaintsart) while Pokémon Sword is being played by the other half (Hope, aka gleaming_hope). Q: Is there a set posting schedule? A: Hell no. Making a schedule and deadlines is the quickest way to destroy my motivation to draw. The pressure turns into anxiety which turns into guilt which turns into shame and then nobody gets anything fun anymore.

Q: Sword's old! Why would you include it? A: Because it's new to Hope (OP's husbando) and he has his own quirky sense of humour worth sharing too. Besides, it means more story posts for you and I feel it's a great counterbalance to the story of Violet.

Q: Will you include the DLC? A: Eventually! Gotta' finish the main story first!

Q: Is it just me, or is the scaling/heights between characters a bit wonky? A: It's not you! The in-game player charas skewed my perception so it took me a while to figure out character heights that I could use consistently, so Alex might seem shorter than he should be in earlier posts, while Max was a bit bigger than he was meant to be.

Q: What's this 'Lato' thing I keep seeing mentioned? A: Lato is a fan region based on Poland, created by this blog's art assistant @diamondphantom~ In Alex's canon/backstory, he had a particularly lengthy school trip through the region four years prior to Paldea. It doesn't really affect the current story beyond showing that Alex has had a significant mood shift in the four years since the school trip.

Q: Will you draw '_____'? A: Maybe, maybe not! Aside from a set motivation for the boys, posts will just be whatever we feel like sharing.

How I feel about this character: !!!! I DIDN’T EXPECT HIM TO BE SO GREAT? :D Gosh Sam how did you manage to hit on so many niches I love, huh? Like. At first he was alright. It was just like “oh okay so we’ve got this straightforwardly happy-go-lucky ball of sunshine... not suuuuper my thing in this case, but I get why people would love him” (sdjnksdkjnsdkjnsdnkj I had no idea). And the fact that he seemed to actually put people off with how over-the-top friendly he is - that was an interesting touch where it’s like “oooh”. But you know exactly when my perspective transforms more. hhhh

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: I don’t actually - I mean, Sam/Guy is definitely really cute, but at most I only kind of ship it passively in the sense that I see other people getting really into it and I’m like “yeah! cool!! :D” like cheering on on the sidelines. When push comes to shove, I don’t actually have any Sam ships!

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Romantic or not, we can never forget Briefcase Buddies.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Ooh I don’t really know what’s unpopular. I wasn’t SUPER into his character at first, but I was absolutely willing to give him a chance as a character to endear himself to me (which he did, in a way that I totally didn’t expect, lol). But hmmm yeah, see I don’t think I know enough about what the prevailing opinions are to be able to know which I disagree with.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I’m a sucker for any sort of “foreshadowing” wherein Sam would do something obviously Morally And/Or Legally Dubious and have it glossed over at the time as either Rule Of Comedy, Typical In-World Zaniness, or Sam being seemingly oblivious as to having done anything wrong when he knows full well what he’s doing. My memory isn’t the best so I’m not sure how much of that we got in canon, but either way I would have loved more! Not even that but just. ahhh. love me some foreshadowing, or even just played around with the “secret” a little more once the audience has been clued in because then we can actually SEE the inherent dissonance of his seemingly innocent character playing out in real time. would also love some insight into either his other identities or how much he’s putting on an act. Obviously a lot of his stuff (the majority) is genuine, but hahaha I don’t knooow I’m rambling. I love highlighting the dissonance between supposed innocence and the reality of a character. I guess what I want from the next season is for the show to still acknowledge Sam’s criminal past/side, and to also do more to acknowledge the fact that he’d just been jumping from fake ID to fake ID for a long time. I don’t want it to be brushed over type thing yknow? There’s so much potential depth there to explore. Even if it’s just casually dropped into conversation among the characters...

Favorite friendship for this character: You have the obvious Briefcase Buddies, but you know what, I want some Sam and Michellee friendship. Let our dear vegan be good buds with the egg&ham-eater! :P

My unpopular opinion about this character: Non-Shifu fans do not seem to realise how secretly fun-loving this guy actually is. At least, they didn’t prior to the third movie, which surprises me. A bunch of stuff about his character in the third movie was Always There, it was simply repressed and/or less obvious before.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: This is kinda random but I was kinda disappointed about the Po/Mei Mei arranged marriage plotline getting dropped from kfp3 because I’d wondered prior to the movie’s release if we’d get to see any of Shifu’s reaction to it. Hm. (Well I did say it was random, lol). Honestly, I do have things I’d love to see happen but I do not trust them to necessarily be pulled off properly. Because I am incredibly picky about how his character is written, a “wish would happen” with his character at this point for me is to let him Rest. Oh right, I just remembered. Since they actually joked once about making three movies about Shifu’s backstory, but it was only ever a joke. Well I certainly wouldn’t turn another three movies down if they were well-written lol. Honestly the story of how Shifu started learning Kung Fu and started on that path is shrouded in mystery, (Inb4 LOA because I Do Not Care about LOA, LOA is irrelevant and does not exist as far as I’m concerned) so I’d really love to just know a little about his history in the first place. Every time he mentions that line about leaving his family to learn kung fu in Kung Fu Panda Holiday I absolutely BURN with curiousity you have no idea. One single throwaway line from Po in a random youtube video about Shifu failing maths in the second grade (I think it was?) just also makes me very curious about his childhood in general, what even the deal was and what the situation was like prior to him learning and mastering kung fu. There’s a whooole untold story there :’( the secrets of my fave...

20: Disney, Dreamworks, or Pixar?

I'd say Dreamworks! I'm really fond of films, those that star a real person or animated ones. However, I usually tend to prefer the former because of of my appreciation for the classic filming. And among these three, Dreamworks feature one of the best movies I like. Like Shutter Island, Lincoln, and The Ring. They are so GREAT like do I even have to explain??? Not to say Dreamworks animations like How to Train Your Dragon, The Shrek, Over the Hedge, Kung Fu Panda, and Megamind are films I would still want to watch again to this day. Of course Dreamworks has failures too, such as The Shark Tale and The Boss Baby. However, compared to Pixar and Disney (should I even separate them when they belong to one humongous conglomerate now?), Dreamworks have one of the most original stories I've ever encountered. Their characters are so fleshed out. They have notable positive traits, and flaws you can easily spot, which makes them feel so real. No tea to Disney and Pixar, but they usually have SoOOOOo many passable movies. Like "okay, i made a movie, guess that's okay" type of movies. They have very generic and predictable plotlines and most of their characters are just cardboard cut-outs of the typical protagonists. Sorry this is long. I'm really passionate about film. Music-wise tho, it goes to Disney. However since we're talking about film, not an album, screenplays matter to me the most.

26: What would you do if someone gave you flowers? 

I would put those flowers in a vase and I would appreciate that someone who gave them to me. Especially if they researched the language of the flowers they've gifted me before giving them to me. If not, that's still okay. There's just gonna be plus points for the former. Though even if they are the former or the latter, I would still ask them why they gave me flowers instead of fruits. I love flowers though and I would really like to receive a bouquet because I've never experienced being given one. I just wanna know why not fruits.

31:  Are you a fashionable person?

Oh hell yeah am I. I make the world my runway. And what I think is quirky about this thing with me, is that I don't follow the trends. I make my own trend. It's my pet peeve to see everybody almost wearing the same clothes just like everyone else. And, I just want to not be like that. I want to stand out (Sorry, the Aries in me is quaking). This is why I love LOVE the no-clothing-code in our universities because I can totally rock a grunge bitch outfit to a cutie girly girl look whenever I want. Even if I'm just wearing a jeans and shirt outfit, I'm sure as hell gonna spice some things up (not skin-showing-wise tho) and make you see I'm not JUST wearing some jeans and shirt. It's MY jeans and shirt outfit (I'm really passionate about fashion like srsly come hit me up if you need some fashion advice).

32: Do you like watching holiday movies?

It depends. If I want to get in the mood of Christmas, bc let's be real, adulthood makes us no longer feel the giddty feeling we used to have when we were kids when it comes to Christmas, then yeah, I'd like to watch holiday films. However, if they have a fucking terrible screenplay, I'd rather not waste my time. I like wating holiday-themed foods, fics, and short stories though.

33: Cookies or brownies?

Cookies!!! I love the hard but chewy and soft texture ir has and also the balance in its flavor! I don't like foods that are too sweet and it's not long ago I just discovered I'm allergic to some types of chocolate so brownies are just 😕 to me.

39: What’s your favorite random piece of decor in your house and room?

I don't have a favorite piece of decor aesthetic-wise. So I'm gonna go for practicality wise (I don't buy things that I won't use just for the sake of aesthetics, I love me a clean, and wide ass space in my home). And also, I can't rhink of any random stuff I love because my stuff here are not random lmao. In my house, I love my dining table. It's where I eat, do my nails, do my art, or work on my writings, while I watch the view of the sky from the windows near it. That table just has so many memories for me. And in my room, I love my work desk. It's where I put my bullet journal, skin care stuff, and writings-wise stuff. I just love how I put them in this way bc these things give me a sense of who I am in their own way. And also they give me a false sense of productivity for the day when they look so nice on that desk LMAO

1D Day, Hour Two

The file I’m watching on YouTube is much shorter than an hour (44 minutes!!), but that’s because the poster kindly removed the “VT” (shudder) from random countries (it always boils down to [insert country’s name’s] fans wilding, and there’s only so much of that I can take).

Still, hour 2 is fucking ICONIC for many reasons, the biggest being Harry’s barely constrained rage. Yes, Louis’s “done with it all” demeanor on 1D Day is (justifiably) legendary, but Harry’s right there with him (twin flames, y’all). I can’t tell if he’s coked up, genuinely angry, or just passive-aggressively petty because someone told him he had to speak more quickly, much more loudly, and with some enthusiasm, for chrissakes. Oh, he delivers, all right, so much maniacal shouting. Deets under the cut.

Hour 2 is all Lirry, and I, for one, love Lirry, so it’s 44 minutes well spent. Liam tells us, “We’re kicking it off with VT from  France, give it up for France!” (“FRANCAIS!” Harry yells), and after the missing bit of French VT, we’re back to Lirry, with Harry vacillating between murdering the French language (“Mercy boo coo to France”) and shouting “I ATE SNAILS” as his contribution to what they did in France last time they were there (Liam played football with some guys near the Eiffel Tower, fwiw).

The first guest is Dynamo (or, “DYNAMO, EVERYBODY” if you’re Harry), and he’s here for card tricks and more (“OH, SNAP” is Harry’s response to Dynamo nearly twisting his own finger off, and god, it’s horrifying). Harry’s fairly manic through the entirety of the card tricks, but I love Liam because he’s me in every card trick (“I’m glad mine’s easy to remember because I’d probably forget,” which is true of any card you take, like, ever???):

“WHO LOVES MAGIC!” Harry shouts, and there’s a needlessly complicated special interactive trick that gets introduced here, with Dynamo saying that he wrote a prediction on a piece of paper and sealed it in a box at the beginning of the day, so he needs to Harry to keep the key safe. Points if you correctly assumed that Harry will stuff that key right in next to his dick as a joke.

Because nobody rehearsed or prepared for this epic full-day live event, there are all kinds of problems with the cameras, and if you want a fun drinking game to get you hammered within 45 minutes, take a shot every time you see a variation of this (Liam looking vaguely concerned while Harry aggressively points at the sky or the camera while shouting):

A horrifically bad segment that’s a poorly disguised advert for Google Hangouts (lmaoaoaoaooaoaoa) kicks off questions from all over the world (the audio is bad, none of the visuals syncs), but we get some iconic answers to deeply important questions, like, “If you were in the Hunger Games, who would  survive the longest?” Liam says he’d hide and then kill passersby (yikes), and Harry says he’s more of a lover than a fighter, so he’d hide in a tree until it all blew over. Liam: “Oh, yeah, you’re definitely more of a lover.” Harry: “Easy there, Piers Morgan.”

The next question is from a group of girls wearing Christmas sweaters, which annoys Harry because “it’s a whole month and two days early,” but I think his issues are bigger than jumping the gun on holidays (and honestly, the UK doesn’t have the twin buffers of T’day and H’ween, so you KNOW this is just part of his general rage). Anyway, they want to know what other careers these two would be involved with, sans the D, and because they’re five, Liam says spaceman and Harry says baker.

After a series of horrible glitches, the next question is about which superhero they’d be, and me as Harry, blowing a giant raspberry as he ponders this important question with the level of exhaustion he surely must feel, three years into this band/interview technique. Liam can read the room, so he picks this one up and says he’d be Kung-Fu Panda, which makes it easy for Harry to say Hong Kong Fuey (!!!) or Top Cat.

With that mess done, it’s time to “ROLL THE VT!” (according to Harry) for Switzerland, and because the producers here are nothing if not cliché lovers, that means tiny cowbells for Harry to play with when we come back. He quickly tires of this, throws the cowbells off stage, yells “WE NEED A CAMERA,” and walks straight into the call box with the overwhelmed girls from hour 1. These girls are still weeping, but Harry says, “Thank you for listening to the album, you’re getting kicked out, sorry,” in the flattest voice possible, so good cop Liam hurries over to ask the weeping girls which song they liked and usher in two new people.

“Happily” is debuted, but we don’t get to see it, boo, but we do get ushered over to a theater with some contest winners. Or as Harry says, “We’re here backstage to meet some fans who have won a chance to be here…SHUT UP…in our VIP cinema,” and then, “You’re crying…is that because I told you to shut up? I didn’t mean it.” Liam is there again to save the day, but there are lots of sound problems, so it’s hard to tell what’s happening, tbh.

Anyway, these fans get to ask some iconic questions, such as, “What would we find in your fridge?” which gives us this classic from Harry: “I DON’T LIVE ANYWHERE, SO NO FOOD,” as the audience says, “awwwwww” in the background.

There’s a question from a lady on the screen, saying that she’s in front of the X Factor studios, and she wants to know what they would change their audition song to, if they could go back in time, and because Harry’s well aware of his various stalkers, he says, “I saw her the other day at the X Factor studios, 100 percent” (fwiw, Harry would do “Wrecking Ball” with props, and Liam would do “Mirrors”).

The last question is what they would change if they could go back in time, and Liam says probably his older haircuts, and Harry says that one day in April (and he mentions April again later in the hour, so someone investigate), he had a dodgy breakfast burrito, so he’d probably change that (he also had a dodgy batch of prawns one time, too, but that’s a different story, and god, he’s an underrated comedian). The sound is for shit, but Liam doubts this, prompting Harry to scream, “DON’T JUDGE ME, LIAM, I’M TRYING MY BEST,” and whyyyyyy is he so on fire (and why do I love it so much):

We get back to the studio with an inexplicably breathless Scott Mills (he says he ran…but from where, lmao) and do another spin to figure out who the official 1D account (????) will follow on twitter. Harry starts cheating before people start yelling at him to stop, which is a shame, really, just follow all of these poor bastards, honestly!

We don’t get to see the VT from Germany, but we do get to see Lirry bickering about camera problems and stolen lines, plus an exhaustive rundown of all the thrilling things to come, and I’m so thankful to the person who made this moment a Dua Lipa meme all those months ago:

One of my favorite segments has a really awkward setup, but tl/dr/dw, Harry brags, “I’m a bit of a chef myself, and if I’m honest, Liam, I’m pretty damned good at it,” so we get a “ROLL VT!” and an aggressive finger point, both from Harry, and a silly but charming cook off with the tour chef, who seems like a lovely lady (p.s. look at how glorious his hair was under all those tablecloths…also, he’s chewing gum in a gross way, but this whole bit is worth watching in full):

The cook off is genuinely funny and results in a beautiful pavlova from Sarah and a basic sandwich (with pickle and paprika) from Harry, judged by Mark Jarvis, Gemma Styles, and Lou Teasdale, all of whom Harry bribes. I’m more fascinated with this ring, and my head canon has it either saying ILY or JEN (both of which make me smile):

With that bit over, we move on to more rapping of random tweets, and it’s embarrassing, so I won’t get into that. But the VT of Liam surfing is something special, not only because he looks so obviously happy while he’s doing it, but also because he says some very profound things in the interview around it: “I get followed a lot, so it’s quite nice to get out in the sea where nobody can follow you […] it’s so nice and peaceful […] it doesn’t matter what you look like, you can just have a good time, it’s a bit of an escape,” and ouchhhhhh, that’s some real talk.

We head back to the studio for a fashion segment with Louise someone; a handful of lucky fans in Sweden won a t-shirt design contest, and Lirry are gonna do some modeling. Louise is happy that Harry knows where Sweden is (Harry:  “I got a B in geography…might have been a C, can’t remember”), and some poor shlub working on this trainwreck in the shadow gets dragged out on camera because he’s wearing green jeans, but he’s not there for long (Harry: “GET OUT” *shove*). Louise describes the fashion show to come, and Harry says that he’s quite good at walking in straight lines, but Liam reminds him that he tends to fall over a lot on stage and that the tiny catwalk is actually pretty shiny (god bless Liam for being so responsible).

Luckily for all of us, professional model Cindy Crawford is there to help with some tips (she’s introduced as “IT’S ONLY BLOODY CINDY CRAWFORD” by Harry, and I die with Cindy’s “Hello, boys,” and Harry’s “Hello, Mrs. Crawford”…followed swiftly by Cindy’s, “Please don’t call me Mrs. Crawford”). There’s some sexi modeling, and even though he only wears two shirts to Harry’s three (*and* Harry gets down on the ground to pose), Liam wins, according to the Swedes. He requests a model  off with Cindy as his prize, and he’s surprisingly good?

The last segment is with Dynamo, the magic man, and for some reason, Harry’s weirdly agro about his own shirt mic, like, unnecessarily so, ripping it off to speak with Dynamo before gently putting it back where it belongs. Maybe he’s just frustrated about how they have to use Google+ (lololololol) for a totally convoluted imaginary concert that ultimately doesn’t work (me as him, tbh). 

While Liam does tech support live on air (!!), Harry asks Dynamo to do some card tricks to stall for time after literally nobody says a word when he monotones, “We’re having a technical difficulty…does anybody know any jokes.” Harry pulls a card as directed, but then, for seemingly no reason, he suddenly starts yelling, “THIS ISN’T WORKING, SHALL WE SEE SOME HIGHLIGHTS? HIGHLIGHTS!!! ROLL HIGHLIGHTS [aggressive pointing]!!” and the highlights are truly awful, and I hope he’s enjoying his smoke break for hour 3, jfc.

Let’s Talk #Shrek

The internet has ruined Shrek.

Also Smash Mouth.

For my thoughts on Shrek, as well as "All Star”, feel free to keep reading. There will be spoilers.

The Shrek franchise is based on the 1990 book Shrek! by William Steig, although only the first film adapted parts of the book. The first film came out in 2001, and it went on to win the first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. For those wondering, it beat out Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. and Nickelodeon’s Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

Shrek is a timeless masterpiece with a great original story full of satire, great protagonists, and a hilarious villain.

Shrek 2 is a great sequel that not only continues the story but also expands upon the universe with more great satire, an excellent plot, and a hilarious climax involving the song “Holding Out for a Hero”.

Shrek The Third is one of the worst animated films ever made.

It starred a horribly miscast Justin Timberlake as Arthur, had too many new characters that added nothing to the story, a dull climax, and tried but failed to make the comedic Prince Charming into a serious villain. It also clearly showed that DreamWorks needed to transition away from making the animated equivalents of the Scary Movie franchise.

Shrek Forever After was a decent conclusion to the franchise by fully wrapping up Shrek’s journey from loner to family man. While the villain was somewhat forgettable, the premise was really good and it was interesting to see the alternate universe versions of the characters.

Aside from the films, there have been several spinoffs: a couple of holiday TV specials, multiple shorts, a theme park ride, and a Broadway musical. In addition, the Puss In Boots character was spun-off into his own film, shorts, and a TV show on Netflix that ran for 78 episodes from 2015 to 2018.

While there have been no new Shrek-centered productions since 2011, a lot of people on the internet have inexplicably become obsessed with the character. This has included a CG model in the popular game Garry’s Mod being used to bizarre extents, disturbing fan fiction, and weird requests to include Shrek in Super Smash Bros.

There is nothing wrong with the meme. It is just that certain fans take the character to very disturbing extremes. If someone were to first find out about Shrek from either the Garry’s Mod videos or crossover fan fiction, they might think the films are about a creepy insane ogre.

The meme, to a lesser extent, also includes the first film’s opening song “All Star” by Smash Mouth. In that film, the song's upbeat attitude perfectly contrasted with the opening featuring Shrek doing mundane, yet slightly disgusting, things while a mob prepares to hunt him down.

What I find hilarious about “All Star” being heavily attached to Shrek is that the song was not originally made for that film. It was originally released in 1999, two years before the film came out, and attached to the obscure superhero comedy film Mystery Men.

The song’s music video begins with a brief clip from that film and the band later integrates themselves into a scene where the heroes attack a car. In 2000, the year prior to Shrek, it was shoehorned into the ending of Digimon: The Movie.

The song Smash Mouth actually recorded for the first film, a cover of The Monkees’ “I’m a Believer”, is ironically almost ignored by the internet despite that music video actually featuring Shrek.

A few years ago, when DreamWorks Animation was acquired by NBCUniversal, their new owners were hopeful for a fifth film.

Should there be a Shrek 5? No.

Economically, it is understandable why NBCUniversal wants a fifth film. Shrek is one of DreamWorks Animation’s most successful franchises. Their only other franchises that can rival Shrek are Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon, both of which have each produced three films, one holiday special, and long-running TV shows.

The only way Shrek 5 could work is if it presented a story reminiscent of Kung Fu Panda 3 or How to Train Your Dragon 2. Both films presented stories of their respective protagonists meeting a long-lost parent and finding out something they never knew about their past.

Shrek 5 could present a similar story by introducing either his parents, a sibling, or a long-lost relative and introduce a previously unknown ogre community reminiscent of Shrek Forever After.

Frankly, there is no need for a fifth film. Shrek’s journey ended on the right note. Trying to create a new conflict between Shrek and his friends would seem like a repetition of the fourth film. Said film, and Puss in Boots, also featured any remaining notable fairy tale characters not shown in the first three films.

A fifth film would have to either introduce far more obscure fairy tale characters or go back to dissing Disney with new satirical takes on Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Princess and the Frog.

Then again, it seems like Disney is about to beat them at their own game with the upcoming film Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.

In the meantime, DreamWorks Animation is currently working on sequels to How to Train Your Dragon, Trolls, The Croods, and The Boss Baby. Depending on the box office success of those sequels, Shrek 5 might just be their next film.

The complete Shrek film series is available on Blu-ray, Digital HD, and DVD.

First impression: I KIND OF, don’t even know, like I feel I had no Real opinion when he showed up for the first time in the movie, stayed p neutral for a while there as his character unfolded I think? All I know is that, by the time I walked out of that theatre, my heart was won. By the time the training sequence rolled around, it was all over. If here we take “first impressions” to mean “first time we see this character/they are introduced”. It all just crept up on me and then before I knew it the movie was almost over n I was crying bc I thought he was dead, and then he wasnt HHHfirst impression would have been all… neutral but also Wow he has cool kung fu moves! and he’s some imposing master guy, ok

Impression now: he is excellente, superb. but more vulnerable than I realised for a while there (?)

Favourite moment: Prolly just gonna have to stick to that one brief moment I discussed before when Po throws him the “dumpling”. But also… when he steals and casually drinks the soup during the training sequence needs a mention… Peak Nonchalance right there. yeah I’m a sucker for the first movie

Idea for a story: I. have no gotdam clue. MMM I’m thinkin g backstory on how he first got into kung fu. In Kung Fu Panda Holiday he mentions leaving his family behind so like 👀👀 I would REALLY like some elaboration on that please. Alternatively… A story of Tai Lung being brought into the palace/Oogway finding out/just the general reception of it and everything. Like the whole conversation that went down when Shifu is like, I have child now

Unpopular opinion: I BARELY ever think of him in the context of raising Tai Lung or Tigress. So not really an “unpopular opinion” but like…I tend to overlook his mistakes, a lot. And then I suddenly stumble into a bunch of people talking about HOW much of a bad father he is and it’s like a smack in the face like I’ve walked into a different world. The unpopular opinion comes in where like as a knee-jerk reaction I get all defensive?? I think that people over-exaggerate the poor parenting aspect and maybe see intent that wasn’t there or something like that. But yeah this is a really big blind spot for me, actually. He definitely made mistakes and people are absolutely fine to call them out and all though, I just feel like sometimes it’s a LITTLE exaggerated

Favourite relationship: His dynamic with Po is a big focus of kfp1 and it is interesting for sure, to see them interact

Favourite headcanon: I was actually struggling to think of one but I’ll return to: he gets ducks and geese consistently mixed up, based on kfp3. He refers to/calls Mr Ping a duck at some point.
