I searched 'natalia grace' because I've been watching season 2 of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, and the results are overwhelmingly this same post, with the same tags, with everything stylized almost exactly the same.
sure.. I totally believe this is real and not an attempt to push the dumbass narrative that she wasn't a child.

You know what? I don't believe Kristine Barnett about Jacob's autism
(Note- I know the whole level 1-3 autism thing is kind of controversial but, to save myself some time, I'll be using those instead of high, moderate, and low support needs.)
Do I believe Jacob Barnett has autism? Yes, absolutely. I mean, you can tell even from the docuseries that he's clearly autistic. But do I believe that Jacob has ever, at any point, been correctly diagnosed as level 3 autistic?
No.
Level three autism is a very major thing. I know a few people who have it and, while I know it's a spectrum, I know what a diagnosis of level 3 autism entails. People diagnosed with it usually, if not always, require a caregiver and will require one for the rest of their lives to perform functions of daily living- I'm not saying that's a bad thing or that this is a catch-all but, if there are level 3 people out there who can live without assistance, I haven't met anyone even close to that. They've often nonspeaking or barely speaking- the only one I've met who can kind of speak can mostly just repeat up to seven words at a time, very fast, and he struggles with repeating anything longer. While he can also speak for himself, he rarely does and usually only speaks in very short sentences that are very fast, very quiet, and quite hard to understand. Are there semi-speaking or speaking level 3 autistics? I'm sure there are but, to my knowledge, they're rare. The ones I've met- and I've met around twenty- are a mixed bag with reading, writing, and math. Two are extremely good at math, the rest can't do it or can do small things but not complex equations. Four of them can read at all, and only one can write. They usually have cognitive delays and/or intellectual disability. Masking for level 3 people is usually impossible.
But Jacob Barnett? He's speaking, he speaks extremely well barring the occasional stutter or pause. He speaks better than I do and I'm level 2 autistic. He can express himself to others extremely well and seems to put his thoughts into words with relative ease. He masks extremely well- you can catch symptoms if you know what to look for, but to those who don't know what to look for or who aren't aware he's autistic, he may just seem kind of awkward, the kind of "super genius" who can take photos of black holes but can't socialize his way out of a paper bag. He lives on his own- I believe he may have a partner, but he's also lived on his own for quite a while and seemed to have been doing fine with that. Heck, I'm pretty sure he lives in a different country right now for college. He can read and write, obviously, and he's phenomenal at math. He has an extremely high IQ and no noticeable cognitive delays. His stimming behaviour is relatively small, nothing that would be out of place on a nervously-fidgeting allistic. Is he autistic? I have no reason to doubt he is and he certainly displays symptoms. Is he level 3 autistic? No.
Misdiagnosis can happen, especially when he was young and not as much was known about autism, but misdiagnosis as level three? And the way Kristine acts, as though he was level 3 but recovered- girl, that isn't possible. If he was level 3 then he's going to be level three forever. There is no changing that. It's not possible to change a congenital condition like autism, not without killing him. The math ain't mathing, Kristine Barnett, unless you lied. And I think you did.
I think Kristine Barnett played up Jacob's autism for her horrifically ableist book (seriously, had a panic attack reading even three chapters of that shit, don't read it,) to make it seem like a "miracle" when really, her kid was just low support needs but had an affinity for math that she tutored him in. I don't think it's possible that Jacob ever truly was level 3 autistic, and it's not possible that he's no longer autistic, and it's definitely not possible that he went from level 3 autism to not being autistic at all.
I'm sorry, I just don't believe her. I think this is just another thing she lied about. I'm sorry to poor Jacob for his mother, who was supposed to protect him, putting his personal medical history out there and turning him into a spectacle when he was a child.

Originally just Calaveras defectors, the group grows to include other hunters, supernatural creatures, and even some ordinary humans, and the group grows into a family.

people are absolutely insane about natalyah mans (formerly known as Natalia grace barnett) like when I saw her speak all i saw was a 20 year old kid who was remarkably well adjusted, thoughtful and level-headed considering the mind boggling amount of trauma she went through. even if she did actually do all the things the barnetts claimed she did - they were literally fucking abusing her? Kristine pepper sprayed her? they had their son pissing on her belongings as a punishment? I would be hiding knives too, what the fuck lmao

Natalia Speaks Ep. 1
Excuse me, what do you mean the Barnetts lied about the adoption? About meeting the previous adoptive family? The dude who seemed to be clearly lying about that whole story of being called by someone from the agency who told him to ckeck the bag. Why would they leave a tag with the information of Natalia's family but refuse to tell him?
Thank God for those detectives who clearly were not fooled by a child like the rest of the adults who refused to see the truth. Like they said, it was pretty obvious she was a child. My respects to those two police officers, they had good training and solid head on their shoulders.
The fucking pepper spray?! No words. Despicable behaviour and I hope someone returns the favor to Kristine.
The doctor's reaction... same.
I knew she was not an adult at the time. But being 8? Nine? Come on. Both of them, Kristine and Michael, are monsters.
Literally, why? Wtf? Why do this? To a child that thinks you love them. How can people be so evil and get away with it?

The Curious Case of Natalia Grace
There I was, a teen in high school who found true crime cases and mysterious happenings interesting, and even relaxing sometimes, (mainly if they are in a podcast format!). Then, I stumbled across a headline that painted Natalia Grace, who suffers from a rare form of Dwarfism to the main character in the movie Orphan, a horror flick in which an adult woman takes on the life of a child and wrecks havoc on her newly adopted family's life.
Really, I thought to myself, that this was horrible. Even though I am always far infested into odd cases and occurrences like this, I did not believe the Barnett's seemingly outrageous claims about this child. The more I dived into the case though, the more weirded out and confused I became. Natalia's age had been changed three times, and her origin story was very spotty.
At the beginning, it all seems so cliche. It is not wonder why people had such a terrible time initially believing the Barnett family. They seemed dysfunctional, and with the split of Michael and Kristine, I am sure this presentation is still fresh in the minds of the public. Kristine was already a biological mother to three young boys, and her and Michael were looking to adopt a child. This part confuses me, because I have went on, I feel this woman is a narcissist herself. She seemed very controlling of her family, namely Michael, who seems to have A LOT of mental health issues himself. In some ways, I could even relate to Michael and what it was like to live with someone such as Kristine, due to my past and terrible relationship with my ex. With that being said, I don't feel Kristine's terrible behaviors were any excuse for Michael to go along with her plans for Natalia.
For starters, I think it is obvious Natalia is a child with issues, as many foster children usually are. Many of her terrible behaviors cannot really be excused or made up for, but that all have reasoning, and a cause, while other examples of her behaviors can only be speculated on.
Weird things the Barnett Family realized:
Natalia had pubic hair, alike to that of a "grown woman" as they stated
She had a period, which she allegedly hid with socks
Her facial structure did not appear "that" child like
Solutions for their presumed odd occurrences I have mustered up:
Ask. Instead of interrogating a child, try as hard as you can to dig up information on her, but do not go at people exclaiming and acting weird about such a thing as pubic hair, as early puberty could have started due to her condition or previous sexual abuse.
Ask her age or a physician what caused this. (Would a physician not know her real age?)
When it comes down to it, whether she was a child or not. I am still confused as to how they put up with this for so long, and made the stupid choices they did. The biggest one which brought forth their infamous criminal charges of neglect & and abandonment.

So, I'm reading up on Jacob's Place, Kristine Barnett's non-profit "schools" for autistic kids, and, um...
I think someone needs to get Jacob away from his mother and father, like, yesterday.

'The stuff of horror movies': Adoptive parents in bizarre case of Ukrainian dwarf Natalia Grace reveal the full scale of their harrowing experience - and say she 'terrorized' them after 'conning' her way into their family
An explosive new documentary into the bizarre tale of Ukrainian dwarf Natalia Grace features her sitting at a table reading a Bible, and telling her adoptive mother she is trying to 'get rid of evil thoughts'.
That clip is among a series of disturbing behavior exhibited by Natalia who is accused of terrorizing her adoptive family in Indiana, who believed they had taken in a six-year-old orphan only to soon suspect she was actually an adult dwarf.
Michael and Kristine Barnett adopted Natalia in 2010 and were both recently acquitted of neglect charges after abandoning her to live alone in an apartment while they moved to Canada.
The couple, who split in 2014, claim she is an imposter who conned their way into their family, threatened to stab them in their sleep and poison their coffee.
In The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, which is set for release on Investigation Discovery (ID) on Monday, May 29, the family open up about the harrowing ordeal.
But one question still remains: was she a Ukrainian orphan or an adult dwarf sociopath as the family claims?
'She won't tell us the truth of who she is - we are living with a con artist and sociopath,' Michael Barnett sobs in the opening sequence.
