Had this for lunch :D

I recently found out that Costco has Korean corn dogs now but don't be fooled by the lowered price compared to these ones at Hmart. The ones at Costco do not have the 'dog'; it's stuffed with cheese.

Cooking methods on the back.

This product contains 5 corn dogs; individually wrapped. & furthermore, they were a good size.

Squeezed Korean tartar sauce on top. I prefer tartar sauce over ketchup. & I'm not a fan of the sugar + ketchup + gochujang mixture.

The batter was crunchy - I think I'm gonna stick to using the air fryer method in the future but . .. why does the sausage look so pale?! lol

Week 43.4/52: October 24th - October 30th 2022 | Day in KTown 🥔 

Haven’t gone to Coquitlam for food adventures in ages! Went to try Arirang Hot Dog with Jesslyn and it was pretty huge and yum!! I got their poutine corn dog which is basically just potato corn dog with gravy and cheese curd on the side.... LOL.... but it tasted quite good. Had a cheese pull for days. A bit bigger than Chungchun but it’s also more expensive so it evens out lmao. We only ate one corndog each so we went to have early dinner at Kimbap Cheonguk. Got cheese gimbap & beef gimbap. Also got a plate of spicy rice cakes - long time no eat. Their rice cakes were super spicy and yum I LOVE IT. The rolls kept falling apart when I was trying to pick it up LOL FAIL. WAS SO FULL AFTER. Ended the day with green grape ade from Cafe Bono. I LOVE GREEN GRAPE! 💚

Mochinut in Lodi, NJ.

Ever want to try a “Korean” corn dog? Mochinut is a good place to hit up. While this place is good, it is quite expensive. We paid for 3 donuts $9 .. I believe 1 donut was $3.15

We had the Korean dogs half potato/half cheese, half ramen/half cheese, half hot cheetos/half cheese, and half plain/half cheese. The corn dog inside was Id say on the mini side but that didn’t matter because each bite was delicious.

We also each had a tea. My husband had a milk tea with tapioca balls. The milk had a hint of jasmine in it (gross). I didn’t care for it. I got the peach tea with mango pearls in it. My peach tea was so delicious- Even my husband said he’d get that one if we ever went back. It was on the sweeter side but oh so good. Those pearls bursting in your mouth (Love it…It’s like asmr eating/drinking) 😂

My favorite definitely was the hot cheetos/half cheese and my husband’s favorite was I believe the half ramen/half cheese. I remember that first bite being so flavorful and to be honest the Cheetos weren’t even hot but that’s okay because I really don’t like super spicy/hot things.

The donuts were pretty good, but I still say Krispy Kreme is the best and my favorite. They definitely though we’re not worth the price.
