A Work In Progress
I'm knitting the mulberry knit ear warmer. I'm using size U.S. 10 (6mm) 14" straight needles. I'm using Knit Picks Brava Bulky in the color Peapod. I cast on 22 stitched instead of 20. The extra two stitches are for the selvedge edge. The pattern is a double seed stitch, or Irish moss stitch. I'll sew it together so that it forms a twist.

Beginner Knit Ear Warmer
Want to learn to knit or need practice? This is a beginner-level Ear Warmer Pattern to try. This uses a 4-ply medium-weight yarn like Patons Canadiana. I used Red Heart Heat Wave, but you can use Red Heart Super Saver and yarns like that as well.
Your goal isn’t perfection, but try to be more consistent and get used to the hand movement…

I got gifted one ball of kremke eco cashmere so, I made a headband for the wife! It actually gave me a lot of trouble because I knitted it the other direction than the usual for headbands so I had to start over when the gauge was off, and I wanted it double since it's only fingering weight, and I ran out of wool juuuust before the end.

Help, I can‘t stop making small projects 😭
I made a headband from a mystery grey yarn, that smells strongly of sheep when wet and residual yarn from the sunset socks, which is Schachenmayr Tahiti cotton. The fleece lining is also leftovers from something else.
That was a fun 3-day-project. Now socks.

Finally finished my first hand knit headband. Normally I make little squares and put them aside. Being still fairly new to knitting I'm very happy with this. And I like the color. Done in seed stitch.

Knitting a test headband and finishing up some yarn ends at the same time. Started in red since that's what I had the most of, tied on the grey as I realized I wouldn't have enough to finish the row I was working on and still be able to cast off, then tied on the overly-long tail from my cast-on end. In my hubris, I thought I could knit one last row before casting off.
[ID: A headband knit in the round on four US 10 double-pointed needles. The leftover yarn tail is clearly not long enough to be used to bind off the entire project.]
I'm not too pressed considering it's just for me and a stash buster at that. I'll use Jenny's stretch bind off for as long as I can, then switch over to a yarnless bind off and see how it goes.

Just needs to be blocked!
There's an enormous amount of heartbreak worked into this piece, but I decided I wanted to finish it.

Using some leftovers!
The English rib was a lot of fun, but the twist is a bit more bulky than I'd like.

Been working on knitting blanket for a friend, but I took a break from that earlier this week to knit a quick headband for my niece for Christmas.
Pics of me modeling it:
Nothing too special, but wanted to share anyway.
It might be a bit big? It's practically a hat lol. Might knit another that's a bit smaller if I can find the time.
