I’m listening to some of the callers on cspan and the hypocrisy of this woman who insults the democrats for voting all together (apparently they have no individualism and are afraid of cancel culture?) and then says the republicans need cohesion? So if republicans all vote together, that’s cohesion but when democrats do it, it’s fear and lack of individualism. It’s so infuriating that I’ve gone past anger and now I’m just laughing.

I mean, that is 100% how the media will spin it. Everything Is Democrats' Fault, Except When It is Super Obviously Republicans' Fault, in Which Case It Is Democrats' Fault Even Harder. So something something, the Democrats should have generously saved the Republicans from their own insane, self-inflicted, chaotic dysfunction.... why? They got nothing, McCarthy refused to work with them, and they're supposed to do it for nothing in exchange? Who the hell would trust any Republican, but let alone notoriously spineless Qevin, to do anything or keep their word, when they've broken it so many times before?

Besides, McCarthy agreed to this deal that made the Motion to Vacate into this exact tool for a partisan hack like Gaetz. The Republicans agreed to the deal when they voted for him. McCarthy then, due to being terrible at his job and unable to control his caucus of lunatics, reliably needed the Democrats to bail him out on basic things like funding and spending bills. Then once they did, out of the fact of being the only adults in the room, he reliably went on TV and lied about them and blamed them for things his own nutcase caucus brought on him.

So.... yeah. They voted to oust him. If anyone thinks the Democrats should have been the nursemaids, ask them why Republicans are such screaming insane babies as to constantly need the Democrats to step in and fix every mess that they themselves made. Karma's a bitch, KKKevin. I'm sure you'll be a memorable pub quiz answer and laughingstock for generations to come.
