Lonely boy | 1. An Coineachan
Characters: Merlin | Hamish Mycroft, Galahad | Harry Hart, Merlin | Richard Mycroft (OMC), and other
Warnings: sadness, parents loss, abandonment, anger issues, swearing, death
Word count: 1942
Summary: it is a prequel to Run boy, run
A/N.: An Coineachan (en. Highland Fairy Lullaby) a Scottish lullaby, supposed to be sung by a disconsolate mother whose babe has been stolen by the fairies. Translated by L. MacBean, author of "Songs of the Highlands"
It was an unusual night. After a long day of heavy rains, it finally calmed down and the ground started to release accumulated moisture, forming dense and heavy fog around a mansion. When everybody should be sleeping one person, a child actually, was awake and waiting. Left alone with its nanny, in an extravagant and big mansion, the child was waiting for its parents to return. Despite being asked to go sleep a little boy refused to do so. Something wasn't allowing him to sleep, some kind of anxiety that made his tummy hurt a little bit. At once he became scared and stressed and looking through the window, searching for the lights of his parents’ car didn't help. All he could see was a milky cloud tightly hugging his home. The nanny took the snivelling boy in her arms and carried him to his bedroom. She put him in the bed and covered him carefully with a duvet and a blanket.
"Sleep now little one. Papa and Mama will be home soon," she tried to calm down the boy, but she only received quiet sobs in an answer. "Come on boy. Do you remember what Papa promised to you?" he nodded with trembling chin.
"We'll go flying", the boy said calmed down a little bit.
"That's right. So, think about flying in a nice plane and going to sleep and in the morning, you'll hug your parents. Sleep little one," the nanny kissed his forehead and left.
He had a hard time falling asleep. Those strange figures out of the window were making him wonder where his parents were and why they hadn't already come home to him. He curled up into an embryo and lay in complete silence. Even his hamster usually noisy at night was quiet as if something big was oncoming. The boy cried a little bit more but after a while, he fell asleep.
***
In the other part of the country, a man was woken up by an unexpected phone call. It was nearly two in the morning when he answered the phone, shrugging the sleep remnants almost immediately.
"Yes, yes of course. What happened?" he sat up trying to understand what was said to him. "What? Is there any chance...", the speaker interrupted him with new information. "Are you absolutely sure?" He was listening carefully, but he couldn't believe what he was hearing. It was hard to believe in such terrible news. "All right I understand that", but of course he understood. He heard the words, but their sense was lost to him, "Is there any chance that the child will live? The woman... His wife was pregnant... Oh Lord..." He felt all of a sudden numb, unable to speak.
Such tragedy, no one was expecting. His brother was dying, and his lovely wife was dead as the child she was carrying. His mourning thoughts concentrated on the boy they left alone in this world. Quickly he put himself together. He had things to be done.
"Is there any chance for me to arrive there just in time to see my brother?" the hope of seeing his little brother for the last time enlightened his face but it disappeared as fast as it came. The doctor on the other end wasn’t giving him great chances to survive the surgery.
"I'll arrive at the hospital as soon as I can. Yes, thank you," he got up and dressed in extreme rush.
The boy can't wake up alone, that was the most important thought for him at the moment.
"Arthur? It's Merlin. I need to borrow one of the helicopters. It's crucial. My brother and his wife just died, and they left a four-year-old boy after. I would be grateful. I need to get to Scotland as soon as I can. Thank you I owe you that, Arthur."
He was relieved that it went so smoothly. Just one more call and he was free to go but that was the hardest one. He dialled the number and waited.
"Hello?" the sleepy voice answered, he easily recognised Amelia, the nanny. "Amelia, it's Richard, Thomas's older brother." he was trying really hard to remain calm.
"Oh, good night, sir. Is everything all right?"
"How is the boy?"
“He had some difficulties with sleeping earlier this evening but eventually he is sleeping now," he could sense that she was suspecting something.
"Don't wake him, I’ll be there tomorrow. I have bad news, unfortunately."
Richard arrived in the early morning, quiet like a ghost. Of course, before arrival, he had taken care of things of practical matters like preparing necessary documents and contacting a lawyer. Some papers need to be changed. No sooner had he finished those small preparations than he went to the headquarters for the helicopter. The flight was surprisingly short, or it was due to the adrenalin and emotions building up. He didn’t pay attention to it deep in his thoughts looking at Glasgow bathed in the glow of the rising sun. The day looked promising, which even deepened the excruciating pain the man felt.
He tried to remember the last time was, he spoke to his little brother as he stood over his cold body, nodding to the mortician that it was his relative. It was not the first time he had to identify the body as the quartermaster of Kingsman, he got used to it. The coldness of the room and its sterility made him shiver.
Then Richard was presented with his sister-in-law's corpse, and he couldn’t take it anymore. Harsh gasp escaped his mouth as he helplessly tried to compose himself.
“Yes, that’s her,” he mumbled on the way out.
This was not supposed to happen. Never in his worst dreams has he imagined outliving his brother and being the one to determine if it’s the right body. He always thought it would be the other way around or that Thomas would end up getting a fancy letter with golden Kingsman’s emblem on it, informing with great sadness of his passing.
“Mr Mycroft?” he stood still observing the white-tiled floor with an empty gaze, “Mr Mycroft, are you alright?” a doctor touched his arm to get his attention, “I’m sorry for your loss, were you close?”
“We used to be. Unfortunately, my work wasn’t helping with keeping the relationship more devoted. At least at my end,” he cleared his throat and looked at the doctor, “How it will look like?”
“Well, we have to perform an autopsy but given it was a fatal car accident, it won’t take long. After that, the bodies will be transferred to the mortuary of your choosing for the funeral, Mr Mycroft. It will take a few days.”
“I see, you got my contact info?” after the confirming nod, he continued, “Good then I’ll wait for the call. I have to inform their son.”
“Mr Mycroft. Once again, I’m sorry for your loss.”
“Yes, thank you, doctor,” he brushed it off on his way out. The man’s thoughts were occupied and empty at the same time, already thinking how to deliver the news to his nephew.
***
“Amelia, is my mommy coming soon?”
“I’m sure she is, darling. Do you want to eat your breakfast?” the nanny showed him a plate of small pancakes with some berries on top.
“Pancakes? But it’s not Sunday,” the boy frowned puzzled with this offer, “I’ll eat them,” he added fast with a disarming smile.
“Very well, Hamish. Sit up and eat up, young gentleman,” Amelia put the plate with cutlery in front of the child and added a glass of juice after a moment, “When you finish you can go outside and play in the garden. How does it sound?”
“Mhmm,” he answered the best he could with a mouth full of food. He finished his meal excitedly, in his mind, already running on the barely dry lawn with a toy plane that would undoubtedly crush into the ground, “Thank you,” with a loud rumble he moved the plate away from him and ran away to dress up.
“Put your hat on, it’s rather chilly!” she shouted after her protegee. After a moment she heard a joyful scream as he ran out into the garden with his toys. She smiled to herself and started to clean up after the breakfast.
“Good morning, Amelia,” she jumped surprised.
“Good morning, sir. Quite an entrance,” she responded with a nervous laugh, “Can I get you anything?”
“Coffee, please. How is the boy?”
“He woke up in quite a cheerful mood. Is everything alright?”
“I’m afraid not,” he smiled softly, accepting the cup, “His parents had a car accident. They didn’t make it.”
Amelia gasped terrified, her eyes filled with tears, “My God, this is unbelievable. Oh, this poor boy. What will happen to him?”
“I don’t know, I spoke to the lawyer, I’ll become his legal guardian. We just need documents to move it further,” he heard a sigh of relief from the nanny, “Where is he?”
“Garden, playing with his planes,” her voice trembled as she tried to hold back tears. She was unable to imagine how he would feel when he finally heard the news, “Are you going to tell him, sir?”
“Unfortunately. I have no conscience to put you through it, Amelia,” Richard came closer to the window observing his nephew’s last moments of child’s light-hearted plays, “Let's give him some more carefree childhood. I’ll talk to him when he’s back home.”
Within half an hour a breathless and sweaty youngling stormed the house like a tornado, loudly demanding something to drink. Boots, hat, and jacket were left like a trail of breadcrumbs leading to the kitchen where he bumped into two adults conversing quietly.
“Uncle Rick!” he exclaimed throwing himself in welcoming arms, for a tight hug.
“Hello, dear boy,” the child nested himself comfortably in his arms and with cold hands touched his relative's face with naïve pietism, “What are you looking for, Hamish?”
“You look different, older…” he paused frowning, “Sadder.”
“Well, I am really sad today, lad,” Kingsman smiled softly, which puzzled the boy even more, “Let’s take our drinks and maybe we’ll go to the playroom?” he passed a plastic cup to the child and ordered to hold it tightly. With his other free hand, he took a half-finished coffee and they headed to another room.
“You stopped coming often, why?” nephew inquired, focused on not spilling his drink.
“I had a lot of work,” now I regret it, he thought to himself, “Alright, now off you go.”
As soon as Hamish stood on the floor, he greedily drank up the juice and gave back the empty cup to his uncle, eyeing a particularly soft teddy he wanted to play with. Richard sat down heavily on a black sofa and sank into it. He didn’t want to have this conversation with the four-year-old. All he wanted was to disappear or wake up from this nightmare.
“Hamish,” the boy looked at him expectantly, “Come here,” he stretched out his hand encouragingly, watching the child coming quickly holding teddy’s paw and dragging it behind him.
“Are you crying, uncle?” it was impossible not to hear how concerned the boy was, “Is it because you’re sad?”
“Yes, lad,” he lifted him and sat down on his lap, “I’m sad because something happened and I’m even sadder because I have to tell you about it,” as best as he could, Hamish tried to hide behind his teddy. If such a big adult was crying about something, what would be with him?
“What is it?” he whispered.
“Your parents won’t come home, boy.”

What are your recommendations for a group movie night?
Depends on what you're in the mood for but some of them off the top of my head are...
Children of Men
Last of the Mohicans
Last of the Dogmen
The Last Samurai
Dune 84
Dune part 1 & 2
Red Dawn 84
Red Dawn 20..12? Watch it and compare how bad it is to the original
Starship Troopers
Hellraiser 1, 2 & Bloodlines. The rest you don't need to bother with.
Nightmare on Elm Street 1 & Wes Craven's New Nightmare
The Thing with Kurt Russel
Captain Ron
Zardoz
Young Frankenstein
Robin Hood Men in Tights
Dracula from Francis Ford Coppola
Dracula from Mel Brooks
The first John Wick, the rest are not great
Troll, It's in Norwegian and from 2022 but really good
The Ritual - Some of the best creature/old god horror I've seen
The original Jurassic Park
Kingsman the first one and the prequel one. The second is ok but not great
Godzilla from 2014, really knows how to show restraint with a Kaiju film
The Jumanji remakes from the 2010's are pretty fun
Sonic The Hedgehog 1 & 2 that came out a couple years back
All the Johnny English movies
Lego Batman movie
Turbokid
Mad Max Fury Road & Thunderdome
The Lord of the Rings trilogy extended editions
Pitch Black
Dredd from 2012
Both Robert Downey Jr Sherlock Holmes movies
Boondock Saints
District 9
Tropic Thunder is probably one of my highest reccomendations
Yeah yeah I know I said off the top of my head but I'm still going off the top of my head
Get Smart
Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
The Pirates movies
Serenity the Firefly series movie
There's a lot more but tumblr hates me adding stuff so quickly in succession 300, 300 rise of an empire, sucker punch, sky captain and the world of tomorrow, van hellsing, master and commander, school of rock, freddy vs jason, shanghai noon and shanghai knights, men in black one two and three, the fourth you can forget, reign of fire, the scorpion king, blade and blade 2, the third is hit or miss, and queen of the damned and interview with the vampire. That's it... for now that I can think of.

A one shot of Agent Whiskey and a younger spy girl in the Kingsman! (Not sure what else but that basic premise.)
At Last | Agent Whiskey x Spy!Reader
made this a prequel for Stand by Your Man
this is how Rosé and Whiskey met and fell in love :)
masterlist
warnings: none

When you started working for Statesmen it was a hard adjustment to be working with a lot of men. You thought they would treat you with little respect but most of them were respectful and feared you a bit. You were a force to be reckoned with, on each mission you went on you made it seem like a piece of cake.
"Rosé, I would like for you to meet Agent Whiskey, he's your partner for the next mission." Champ ushered you into the debriefing room and the sunlight backlit a man, with broad shoulders, clean-shaven with just a mustache on his upper lip. You sat across from him and could see his face when he takes off the hat and sets on the table beside him.
"Nice to meet you, sweet baby," Jack grins at you, his eyes trailing along your face and down your frame. You shifted in his seat, his gaze made your skin feel like it was on fire. "You as well," You could feel your mouth become dry, and your legs shake. You couldn't believe how your body was betraying you. Champ started to go over the details of the mission and how it was more of a scouting. You tried your best to be an active listener while Jack was practically undressing with his eyes.
What you thought he was doing wasn't entire wrong, he was more taking in how you looked in the sunlight, the clothes you chose to wear, how your hair was half up, half down, the makeup you had on was only to emphasize your eyes and lips. Then his mind was in the gutter.
-
"You'll have to pose as an married couple, I know there is an age difference just play up "married for money" and no one will bat an eye," Champs words danced through your mind as you got ready for a date with Whiskey, that he insisted on so you could play the part of an couple. You protested the idea at first but Jack was being extra charming when he finally got you to say yes.
"Well you look good enough to eat, sweet baby," Jack drank in your appearance while he walked you to his bronco.  You rolled your eyes at him and reached for the door handle, his hand pushed yours away and opened the door. "If you're going to be my little wife, you won't be lifting a finger, now get your pretty self in the car," You looked at him and his famous smirk was on his face.
One date turned into 3 date then those date turned into spending time with him outside Statesmen. Jack would be at your place just laying down with you in your bed telling you about his life before went into the business. How he almost had it all but his highschool sweetheart died in a tragic way, how he actually likes whiskey, and how you make him feel.
"My sweet baby, you have made me feel something again," Jack kisses your knuckles and goes up your arm. You could melt in his touch, you knew that he wasn't acting anymore. You were his, and he was yours,

Summary:
…the one where Stiles meets his future husband.
(then)
Trouble.
That was Stiles's first thought as he put down the book he was reading to look up at the guy staring down at him.
"Uh…hi?" Stiles said. It came out as more of a squeak, really, because—holy shit!—this guy was easily the most attractive alpha Stiles had ever laid eyes on. Despite his scowl, he was gorgeous—high cheekbones accentuated by a well-groomed beard. But it was his eyes that really captivated Stiles. They were a brilliant hazel with sunbursts of gold, surrounded by a deep pool of green and framed by a dark blue rim.
The guy smiled, and yeah, Stiles was definitely in so much trouble because the guy's face went from fiercely intimidating to unquantifiably beautiful with how it scrunched up, exposing his dimples. And bunny teeth.
Stiles was never one to be controlled by his omega urges or instincts. Still, there he was, about two seconds away from throwing himself over the library table, pushing his pants down past his ass, and presenting.
It would be embarrassing if he weren't so turned on.
Seriously, he'd do very bad things for that smile.
The silence was broken when the guy nodded toward Stiles's book. "I've never seen someone so invested in a book before."
Stiles couldn't mask the snort he let out. He glanced around the library, but the other tables were empty, so he didn't bother whispering when he said, "You don't come here much, do you?"
"No, I don't come here often, but now I'm thinking I should."
The smirk on the guy's face should be illegal.
Stiles tried not to blush, but he could feel heat creeping up his face, staining his cheeks pink. He cleared his throat and picked his book back up. "To pick up omegas?"
"To talk to you."
"Oof, that's a bad plan," Stiles said with a grimace, though he couldn't deny the way his heart flipped at having this guy's attention. There was something about him that made Stiles feel giddy and excited.
The guy grinned. "Maybe, but here I am."
Then he leaned down, his strong, masculine scent filling Stiles's senses, making him dizzy with desire. He was so close that the warmth of his breath fanned against Stiles's face. His lips were just inches away, and if Stiles wanted to, he could turn his head and close the distance, claiming them for his own.
Instead, Stiles grabbed the edge of the table, steadying himself. "B-But if you bother me while I'm reading—" he narrowed his eyes at the guy, willing his heart to stop racing, "no matter how hot you are—I'm going to really dislike you."
It was the truth. This was his escape from classes and work, and the last thing Stiles wanted was for some alpha to come in here and distract him.
The guy laughed, a booming sound that filled the entire room. It earned them an angry shh from somewhere in the stacks, and Stiles smiled despite himself. He was still wary, but at least this guy had a sense of humor.
"Alright, I'll take that into consideration. What are you reading, anyway?" The guy picked up the book from the table and stood back up, flipping it over in his hands. "The King's Men? Is this like that movie?"
"Movie?" Stiles scrunched his face in confusion. If the All for the Game series had been made into movies, he'd definitely know about them.
"Yeah." The guy set the book back down on the table. "The prequel to the Kingsman movies? Ralph Fiennes was in it? So was Stanley Tucci."
"Oh wait." Okay, now Stiles knew what he was talking about. "Yeah, no. This is…different than those movies."
And dear God, Stiles hoped this guy didn't ask him to elaborate. But thankfully, the guy smirked and changed the subject. "So…was I just hearing things, or did you say you thought I was hot?"
Stiles snorted again and rolled his eyes.
"Or…" The guy's voice dropped as he leaned down again, making Stiles's heart speed up as his breath fanned over the shell of his ear. His omega instincts screamed at him to bare his neck and submit, but he refused even as the guy continued, "We could get out of here."
If this guy was trying to get into Stiles's pants, he would be sorely disappointed. Stiles got it, though. They were both young and obviously physically attracted to each other. But was it too much to ask that the guy also be interested in Stiles as a person? He wanted more than just sex.
"No, thanks," Stiles replied, snatching his book from the table and pulling it back up to his face.
"Okay, fine." The guy nodded toward the stacks. "Then, pick out a book for me."
Stiles chuckled, raising a brow. "For what?"
"For me to read." The obvious duh was graciously not said. "I won't bother you anymore. I'm just going to sit over—" he made a show of looking for another seat, only to point at the one right next to Stiles— "here and enjoy a good book."
"You're relentless, aren't you?" Stiles asked, not used to someone being so persistent. Usually, if he turned someone down, they spat out something derogatory about him or omegas in general and walked away, acting as if they'd rejected Stiles instead of the other way around.
"I tend to get what I want," the guy said confidently, wearing a smile so big Stiles could see those bunny teeth again.
"If I give you my number…" Stiles heaved a heavy sigh, shaking his head. Seriously, what was it about this guy that made Stiles want to give in and let him have his way? "Will you let me finish this book?"
The guy wore a smug grin. "Gladly."
"Here," Stiles muttered, pulling out his phone as if he were reluctantly giving in. "Give me your number."
When the guy did, Stiles sent him a quick text with nothing but a link to the series he was reading.
"So what's your name?" the guy asked.
"Stiles."
"Stiles…" the guy repeated, as if he were trying it out on his tongue.
"And yours?" Stiles asked so he could stop referring to him as 'the guy.'
"Derek, your future boyfriend. No…your future husband."
Stiles laughed so loud they got another angry shh from somewhere, so he covered his mouth.
"Why are you laughing?" the guy—Derek—asked, arms crossed over his chest, making his biceps bulge.
Stiles wanted to bite them for some reason, but he managed to hold himself back. Instead, he said, "It's a bit overkill, don't you think?"
"No," Derek replied, looking offended. Then he leaned in and changed Stiles's perception of everything when his expression turned serious, and he whispered, "I don't normally do this. I don't talk to people or hit on random omegas in libraries. I don't even like to start conversations, but I would do all of that just to get to know you. I would do anything to get to know you. That's not overkill. That's fate."
Stiles could only blink, shocked at those words, at the sincerity behind them.
Derek slowly stood back up, a knowing smile on his face. "Have a good day, Stiles. I'll see you around."
Stiles watched until Derek made it down the aisle and out of sight, then sucked in a breath and dropped his head, wondering what the hell had just happened. That was…something.
He had no idea what Derek was going to be in his life, but he knew he wanted to find out.
*
(now)
Stiles connected his phone to the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen and opened the Spotify app on his phone, pulling up his favorite playlist. Once the music started, he grabbed two pans from the cabinet, swinging his hips to Taylor Swift's vocals, encouraging him to Shake it off. Every few sways, he'd have to tug his (read: Derek's) shirt back down where it stretched taut over his protruding belly.
At thirty-six weeks pregnant, none of his shirts fit anymore, so Stiles was always stealing Derek's. Not that Derek minded at all. In fact, he loved seeing Stiles in his clothes if the way his eyes flashed crimson or the low growl that always escaped were any indication.
Stiles turned on the stove to warm the pans and wondered if Derek would be home soon. He should have been home hours ago, but a call came into the firehouse right before his shift ended. Derek's twenty-four–hour rotation was nearing twenty-eight hours now, and Stiles just wanted him home.
It always made him antsy when Derek was gone, mostly because he couldn't sleep well. He missed Derek's head on his chest and hand on his stomach, rubbing as Ollie kicked against his palm. He missed the feeling of simply knowing Derek was beside him, keeping him safe.
Their kids, Eli and Ellie, missed him, too. Despite his schedule, Derek was usually home in time to get them ready for school, but not this morning, and they were extra crabby about it. Even Ollie seemed irritable, considering he kicked extra hard while Stiles was bustling the other two out the door that morning.
Joy.
But thankfully, they calmed down when Stiles assured them that Derek would be there to pick them up in the afternoon. Of course, he also promised them they'd get ice cream afterward.
A+ parenting, for sure, but he needed all the help he could get when dealing with ornery seven-year-old twins who missed their daddy.
Stiles opened the fridge to get the eggs and bacon, letting the air cool his overly warm body. One thing no one ever mentioned about pregnancy was how unbelievably hot he'd be almost all the time. Seriously, Stiles slept with a fan on and the bedroom window open because of how warm he'd get, even during winter. It was almost worse than being in heat. Even now, he had the kitchen and living room windows open to let in the cool morning breeze.
He danced in front of the stove, letting the world disappear as he lost himself in the music and familiarity of cooking. Bacon sizzled in the pan while Stiles flipped the eggs—punching the air in success when the yolk didn't break. Kelly Clarkson came on, singing of heartbreak, and Stiles couldn't help but use the spatula as a microphone, belting along.
His heart leapt into his throat at the soft chuckle and applause that came from behind him when he was done.
Stiles spun around, hand over his chest, glaring at Derek, who stood in the doorway, looking far too delicious in his uniform—even though there were dark circles under his eyes. Derek had to be exhausted right now.
Not uncommon after such a long shift.
"You're such an ass," Stiles said, putting the spatula down and turning the stove off. His heart was still in his throat, but he walked over to Derek with a smile and wrapped his arms around him. "I'm buying you a fucking bell."
Derek's chuckle shook them both. Stiles loved how the rumble vibrated against his chest, grounding and settling him.
"Didn't mean to scare you," Derek said, his sleep-rough voice sending a rush of warmth throughout Stiles's body.
Stiles basked in Derek's embrace for a moment before pulling back a little and reaching up to trail a finger down the side of Derek's face. "I know. I just didn't hear you come in."
"Well, you were mid-performa—ow!" Derek rubbed his side where Stiles poked him, a smile lighting up his face when he chuckled again.
Stiles stuck his tongue out at him, feeling lighter and infinitely more relieved now that Derek was home. "Welcome home, asshole."
"You're lucky the kids got rid of the swear jar," Derek said, kissing the tip of his nose. He rubbed his hands over Stiles's belly, smiling when Ollie kicked in response. "How's he been today?"
"Very active," Stiles said with a sigh. It was as if Ollie was trying out for The World Cup Championship.
Derek pressed their foreheads together, swaying to the music coming through the speaker.
"Have you?" Stiles looped his arms around Derek's neck as Derek gazed deep into his eyes while Christina Perri sang about loving someone for a thousand years.
"And I'll love you for a thousand more," Derek whispered before kissing him.
It was so soft, so tender, that Stiles's heart tripped over itself. He let the love and contentment wash through him as he melted against Derek, never wanting to let go. But as much as he didn't want the moment to end, reality took hold. Derek's stomach grumbled, breaking the moment.
Pulling back with a laugh, Stiles smiled up at Derek. "Alright, that's enough sappiness, let's get you fed."
"Okay, baby." Derek kissed the top of Stiles's head, and Stiles damn near swooned at the affectionate gesture.
As he dished up breakfast for both of them, Stiles let out a long, contented sigh—letting the happiness and love settle around him like a warm, cozy blanket.
He thought back to that day in the library and smiled at the memory of their meeting. God, he was so lucky to have found the man of his dreams. Over the years, their love had only grown stronger, fiercer, deeper, and his heart fluttered as he thought about all the years they had ahead of them.
Life was pretty damn good.

time: it's 2:45pm
favourite band/artist: halsey. has been halsey for years. that woman shaped me to who i am today. i evolve with her music and feel like i grow alongside her. main inspiration for everything. other than that i'm warming up to imagine dragons and i have quite some amazing dutch bands (with english lyrics) like Kuzko and Goldkimono i'm really excited about.
last movie: unfortunately i do not watch movies regularly, i do wanna start with that again, i fucking love movies. i think the most recent one i watched was the king's man, a kingsman prequel. it was nice, had a true kingsman ring to it but wasn't as funny as the first two.
last show: i'm binging h20 just add water and having a good ol' time. they don't make shows like that anymore and it's really sad. i'll continue with totally spies after this, i am forever stuck in my childhood. oh and also kaleidoscope, pretty decent show.
when I created this blog: this one was created in february 2019 as a sideblog to my mainblog and only fully transferred to an f1 blog in 2021 i think. i have not understood tumblr for the longest time and only think i started getting the hang of it in 2021.
other blogs: @thethirteenthcrow is my main blog (personal; watcher; shyan). i have most other the(number)crow-blognames on my account but not all of them are used. i co-own the shyanshippingsociety but i have not done anything for it in the past few years, i'll get back to that next year!
do I get asks: occasionally, yes! i'm very bad with answering them which is probably counterproductive to getting more asks, but i love getting them! i think i'm one of the few 4433 blogs on here so that's why most people come to me to rant/talk about it, and i love that :)) i mostly seem to get asks when i reblog things like 'send me x and i'll post a snippet' or something, which makes me feel like you guys are really engaged with my works and that motivates me to no end. so thank you :)!!

average hours of sleep: a steady 8-9 hours every day. i am a migraine babe in need of routine in fear of migraine so i get pretty decent sleep every night and wake up at around the same time.
instruments: only keyboards (the computer ones) and vibrators (the kinky ones). i take pride in the sexual sounds i can derive from words and movements (this makes me sound like more of a slut than i really am, i just love sex in all its shapes and forms to be honest here)
what I'm wearing: a cozy little outfit! some loose jeans and a lando norris sweater. yes it is too warm for this outfit but i'm celebrating fall already.
dream job: if y'all could donate to my kofi a bit more so i can live off of horny rambles for the rest of my life, i would die a happy woman. but realistically, i genuinely don't know! a place where i can work with parents n kids and truly feel like i'm helping them, and also where i can be creative and make fun stuff (i could make some badass powerpoints!) and also not too heavy so i can go home and crochet or write horny stuff or go rollerblading or make pretty photos. i just wanna do creative stuff all the time i think.

I saw a theory in a Kingsman fic once that was like 'eggsy' is a mispronunciation of 'exy' which is short for 'excalibur' and that his dad gave him the name, and I appreciate the creativity in that idea but also in my experience english nicknames are just sort of Like That - my dad has a friend who everyone calls kinky on account of his being in a local production of kinky boots and this gets him many odd looks from...well, everyone actually 🤣🤣
and this is a different anon:
I LOVE KINGSMAN SO MUCH AND IM GLAD YOU ARE ENJOYING IT TOO!!! seriously the prequel that came out this year made me sob 😭 nicknames in the uk are no joke tho, i was given the name Twinky (not the American sweet kind) at age eleven at boarding school and it been almost ten years and it’s might as well be my legal name 😭
but i think this anon and your dad's friend should start either a support group or a brothel the english did y'all dirty as fuck, twinky and kinky.

So we don't like Kingsman?
I mean. I love Kingsmen in general, love the whack, love the colours, love the actors, the camp of it all, how over the top it is. And I even enjoyed this prequel I watched and am bitching about. It just kinda sucks that I can't turn off the analyst part of my brain and my critical thinking so that I could enjoy it fully aka use it as a xanax instead of a xanax. Imma still notice the bullshit and when I let myself think about it finally Imma be pissed. Ugh i hope that answers it somewhat 🙈💜

A prequel, The King's Man, was released in 2021, and based on the post-credit scene—Vaughn has plans to expand on that corner of the universe too.
In addition to Egerton and Firth, the Kingsman universe has racked up a pretty impressive cast list across Kingsman, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and The King's Man, with names like Pedro Pascal, Daniel Brühl, Ralph Fiennes, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Michael Caine, Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Elton John, Gemma Arterton, Samuel L. Jackson, Rhys Ifans, Tom Hollander, Stanley Tucci, Djimon Hounsou, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Matthew Goode making appearances in the various films.

Three ships: Currently obsessed with Dreamling (Hob x Morpheus // The Sandman), but Merthur (Merlin x Arthur // BBC's Merlin) and Geraskier (Geralt x Jaskier //The Witcher Series) will forever hold special places in my heart
First ever ship: It might be Destiel?? it's either that or Merthur, I honestly don't remember
Last song: Black Lipstick by Powerman 5000...recently it's been giving me 80's Dreamling vibes, but like. If they went to an 80's themed night club and acted-out how the 1989 meeting would have gone, should they have met up...god I have a whole idea around this now
Last movie: Kingsman The Golden Circle. I fucking love the kingsman movies, specifically the first two...idk about the prequel, but the first two are definitely up there with my favourite movies of all time. It takes a special kind of self restraint not to watch those two movies back to back to back for 10 hours straight
Currently reading: Giving Sanctuary by @avelera (Forever eating bricks over this fic - in the best way), but Shelter by @softest-punk, Fey Divorce Court Isn't a Thing by @moorishflower, and literally countless other fantastic fics are in my marked for later, ready to be read when my brain wants to cooperate. There are so many damn good fics out there, the talent is insane
Currently watching: Nothing much tbh...another Sandman rewatch is in order I think, as well as Good Omens, but besides that it's mostly been movies with the occasional episode of something in between to spice things up. Labyrinth, X-men first class & days of future past, Derry Girls, Sense8, etc
Currently consuming: Gozleme. So much chicken gozleme it's not even funny
Currently craving: A good night's sleep and a little bit of hope, but I'll settle for some warm food...or a strawberry thickshake
Taggggsss:
@avelera @cuubism @wizardofgoodfortune @wordsinhaled @dsudis @softest-punk
No pressure, just some fun !! :)
