im not sure if you’re still doing the aot kids (gabi,falco,udo,zofia) hcs? if so i had a request of reiners s/o just playing video games with the kids on a snow day ?

Game night with Reiner's cousins

Frost crystals gliding through the crisp air, descending onto the freshly shovelled driveway, one stacking on top of the other, gradually building up despite the slowly rising temperature as the sun peeks through the far hills.

The unfolding scenery outside your bedroom window mattered none to you, neither did the quiet squirrels leaving feather soft footprints tracks behind them  before climbing the nearest tree, or the dog's barks chasing them.

For your mind only cared about the comforting warm hug of your blanket, basking in the blissful state of being half-awake. 

Burying your face further against the soft pillow, you paid no mind to the rustling of sheets on your left or the mattress dipping down in weight right next to your waist.

It was only when the cold air glazed your exposed skin, that your eyebrows knitted as a protest formed at the edge of your lips. Only for it to be abruptly pushed back by the shiver running up your spine at the feeling of soft warm kisses being trailed down your neck, dipping into the crease where it met your shoulder.

"Baby" murmured a voice akin to melted honey right against your skin, " it's time to wake up." you could feel a hand brushing against the side of your face, making your eyelashes flutter.

Reiner's weight shifted off your side, you could hear the clinking of a spoon against the glass cup as it stirred it before the weight returned.

The smell of your delicious drink was what pushed your muscles into making the decision to sit up for you, back pressed against the bed header for support. With your vision still drowsy, it was Reiner's hand cupping yours that guided the cup to your mouth, waiting for you to blow the hot surfaces away before taking a sip.

Leaving the blanket discarded as the liquid warmth travelled down your throat, warming your insides and giving you the needed boost of energy to regain focus on the face in front of you.

The edge of Reiner's lips quirked up when you attempted saying good morning only to be interrupted by a yawn halfway through.

"Good morning to you too, i hope you slept enough because-" the buzzing of the doorbell grabbed both your attentions.

It only took 5 seconds for you to put 2 and 2 together, one glancing out the window to the thick blankets of snow covering the roads was all it took to clue you in.

"Schools might be closed for today but jobs sure aren't, Zeke and Colt came to drop them off before their shift at the clinic." Reiner explained as he got off the bed, "i can distract them for 15 minutes while you get ready, otherwise i can't guarantee Gabi won't slam open the bathroom door on you like last time." 

Not wanting to tempt fate a second time, you hurried downing the rest of the drink before starting your morning routine.

Stepping outside the bedroom, the four kids with their messy hair and still in their pyjamas took one glance at you then rainer as they demanded food, their food negotiator diplomat being Zofia as usual.

Half a dozen cream filled pancakes later, they were happily laying on the couch, Udo and Falco sharing an iPad as they started rewatching the entirety of My Little pony for the second time this month while Zoifa took occasional glances at their screen between scrolling through tumblr.

Where is Gabi you might wonder, well she just happened to be clinging to a certain cousin of hers as he was finishing tying his work uniform, going through the five stages of grief because Reiner refused to take her to work with him.

When both the puppy eyes and attempted blackmail didn't work, she stomped back into joining the rest of her friends, moping around with a scowl that softened when Falco made her a spot to sit between him and Zofia.

Meanwhile you were just starting your own 5 stages of grief as the realisation that Reiner has work today settled in. Don't get me wrong you did know the kids pretty well and they confided in you even, although you knew most of your encounters with them were always made easier by the presence of your husband who knew how to keep them in line, aka convincing them that maybe arson isn't such a cool pog activity.

And you just weren't ready for the vail to unravel, the thin layer of adorable nature that kids have that had everyone fooled into forgetting the true demons lurking beneath it. 

It really does say something about a species when its offspring being loved is hardwired into each one of its elders، just so the offspring survives long enough to develop a conscience that maybe other people do also deserve to live.

You really should stop listening to Zeke's drunken lectures at family gatherings when he corners you. 

Anyway young Aristotle, you've been standing in the kitchen pondering all of that while holding the last glass of juice that the kids didn't gobble down. It wasn't till the you felt the warmth of an arm lightly wrapping around you as your husband leaned in for a peck on the cheek, steadying you back into reality.

"Someone's still sleepy" he rubbed along your side in an effort to apologise for this last minute plan he roped you into, "I'll make it up to you, i promise."

You didn't doubt that he'd keep his words but you'd be damned if you didn't let yourself play the role of the tired spouse just to milk more affection out of him.

Plus you can handle a bunch of toddlers? You were a toddler once so like how hard can it actually be.

10:33am the fall.

You wouldn't say you'd consider yourself a hardcore gamer who is known amongst portal speedrun world record holders, but you know your way around a counterstrike lobby like anyone else.

Maybe you even finished a broken sword dark souls run in the past, or maybe you're one of the few that actually bothered to take support in League and be good at it. 

Or maybe you're an expert in stardew valley optimization, getting to marry shane before the first spring ends which is concerning because why would you even marry shane. 

Or you're a Sims mod hoarder who is 9 generations into your third vampire astronaut OC's ark and moulded each one of those people with the precision of marble sculptures. 

Or just maybe you've never held a controller before and passing candy crush second stage was the highlight of your gamer career. 

It matters non.

Because in this reality, in this current timeline nothing could've ever prepared you for the question Falco asked you so innocently. 

"Do you know roblox?"

The mere mention of the game's name got every one of those kids to drop the peaceful facade act and flick a primal switch inside them.

"Uh yeah?" You lied, what in god's name is a roblox.

"So you know how to play adopt me?" Said Zofia in a sceptical voice as she looked at you with her sceptical face.

You could still back off, just admit to the kids that barely started middle school in front of you that you're an out of touch adult, a fraud who's been pretending to be not like other adults and is actually a cool person.

…over your dead body.

"Who doesn't." They stared at you for a solid 10 seconds, but you didn't budge. 

The tense atmosphere vanished as they visibly beamed in excitement, each one of them throwing a question after question at you. Like what kind of pets you had and if you're excited for the fashion show update.

"No my ghost bunny is cooler" insisted Udo as he stared down Gabi who was boasting about her elf hedgehog.

"Imagine thinking a 2020 pet is a flex, couldn't be me" was the fuel Zofia added to the flames.

"You got a single legendary and you made it your whole personality" Gabi shot back.

"Guys can we not start this argument again" Faclo tried to reason with the bunch as they seemed to forget the fact you're also in the room.

"I don't wanna hear it from someone who still uses the default eyes" 

Oh no.

"At least I'm not in a sonic roleplay discord server " 

"Oh shut up you literally main Hu tao and throw a fit when anyone brings a healer to a domain"

"I know you're not talking shit right now you Childe main, didn't you actually cry when the Ayato banner came?"

"Didn't you lie to your mom just to get money for the Diluc skin?"

"Yeah and so did you for the fortnite battle pass!"

"You literally kin naegi-"

You have to do something, you're 99% sure they forgot you're in the room and if you let them be they'll reveal things you don't wanna know.

"Okay that's enough" you said sternly, standing up to add an advantage to your intimidation roll. 

Well whether you failed or not, it was more than enough to get them to remember they're not talking in a voice call rn but in real life.

In a milliseconds, guilty puppy eyes surrounded you as they attempted to salvage what's left of their innocent facade.

"We're sorry we didn't mean to yell." said Falco as he tried to hide his face behind his oversized sticky IPad, apparently the only actual kid in the bunch who felt guilty.

The rest of them just avoided eye contact with you.

You sat back down, attempting to think of a way to get them back on the same page, having a vague knowledge of the titles they mentioned.

They seemed to at least forget about roblox which is good, you didn't wanna pay for that lie today although you had a feeling it might come back to bite you soon.

Reiner wasn't big on video games, he much preferred active hobbies like sports or calming ones like knitting or baking.

Leaving you with your work laptop.

"Do you know flash games?" You were answered with their confused faces.

12:28pm the rise.

"So I can just serve them a burger with nothing but lettuce and mayo and they'd still give me money." Said Udo with a very concerning happy smile. 

"Make sure to burn his burger too" added Gabi sitting next to him.

Zofia and Falco, who just finished their turn with perfect scores, seemed content with watching the other two be an absolute menace to the customers.

"No, I wanna be fire girl"

"You keep jumping into water puddles! You're water boy shush.

2:56pm

"Why would Elsa even have glass in her feet that doesn't make sense"

You quickly made them close that game.

4:20pm 

The doorbell rings, and you go quickly to answer it. Taking the food from the delivery guy as you make your way back to where the 4 of them were having a rock paper scissor tournament to decide on who picks the movie.

You ended up winning and picked your favourite one, halfway through you noticed how they all were fast asleep.

Getting up and pausing the film, you carefully move each of them to the main bedroom.

5:00pm

"And they had lunch after, they did seem kinda sad for not being able to play outside because of the snow." you said as you typed away at your laptop, making sure none of them installed a roblox on it or something. "But it cheered them up when I agreed to rate their roblox avatars."

"That's good, did you have lunch too baby? You must be exhausted by now. Again I'm really sorry for leaving you alone in all of this." Came Reiner's voice from your phone speaker. 

Your typing paused, you do miss him.

With some encouragement and reassurance from his end, you ended up spilling your worries and troubles to him. He listened to you vent with the occasional comforting words.

Colt's shift ends today around 6pm, so the both of you had a whole two hour to talk to each other to your hearts' content.

“My Girlfriend is a Witch!” Witch! Robin Buckley x Reader

A/N: another gift for the amazing @semishyguy! I know it’s a bit early for Halloween but shhh

Everyone had their suspicions about Robin Buckley, sure she was a little… weird. But no weirder than you or Steve or Jonathan. Your girlfriend had this strange infatuation with a stray in your neighborhood though, a little black cat with the widest yellow eyes you had ever seen! She named him “Y/N Junior”. The two of you never brought him into your house, primarily because he didn’t want to. But you bought him a little collar a while ago, and always gave him his favorite foods when he stopped by the door of either of your homes.

it was October 28th. Robin was lounging around the study hall and reading a book. “Hey babe! What are you reading?” Robin jumped and closed the book. “Nothing, love.” She hid the book behind her and you peered behind her. A questioning look on your face. “What book? You know I love reading with you!” She sighed and pulled the book back out. The title read ‘R.L Stien. Fear Street.’ You could’ve sworn it was a different color… and from what you saw it was a hardcover book. Not a paperback how it is now. You shrugged it off, maybe it was just a trick of the light.

You, Steve, Dustin, El, and Jonothan all went to Steve’s house to work on a project. You invited Robin but she said she would prefer to work alone. That was… a first to say the least. The two of you loved your half work- half interest rambling sessions. Then cramming everything 5 minutes before the presentation. The two of you were inseparable. Jonathan interrupted your thoughts “What ideas do you all have for our film project?” Jonathan fiddled with his camera. Dustin pulled out a lot of VHS tapes “well, you see, I’ve collected THE BEST horror movies of all time. It being October and all.” Steve rolled his eyes, “now I’ve got an idea,” Steve placed a loose piece of ribbon on his neck and gave his best ‘Hollywood accent’ “A big picture about a handsome lead role, that’s me. Finding the love of his life! A semi-secluded loner named… Breddie!” He said, picking up a piece of toast and chewing it. He gestured to El, “and then! They find and adopt a witch!” Everyone huffed an rolled their eyes.

“Speaking of Witches,” You said, “What’s everyone dressing up as for Halloween?” You looked around the room, “Well me and the boys are dressing up as Star Wars character’s. I’m Han Solo of course.” Steve shrugged “probably somebody hot. Chicks dig werewolves right?… does Eddie like werewolves-?” Everyone laughed. Jonathan broke the lighthearted tone of the conversation “has anyone noticed Robin had been acting… weird lately.” By ‘everyone’ he meant you. You shook your head and asked “why do you think she’s being weird.” “Yeah, like, more weird than normal?” Steve chuckled.

☾(∩｀-´)⊃━☆ﾟ.*・｡ﾟ☽ The Ring.

Jonathan described many odd occurrences. Robin seemingly disappearing fully between crowds, being late for something but popping up behind us randomly, and lately she’s always been reading something. You couldn’t help but agree. “Once, she got me this beautiful but extremely expensive ring for our 1 year anniversary.” You flaunted the Snake engraved ring for a moment. “But Steve, you as much as anyone knows how much the two of you get paid. Most certainly not enough to afford something like this.” Steve nodded and gestured to Eleven. “What do you think kiddo?” El paused for a moment trying to find the words, “Witch.”

🕸️🕯Later 🕯🕸️

You all considered using Eleven’s powers to spy but decided against it. Primarily because if anything bad happened Max would knock you over the head with her skateboard.

“Jonathan?” ”yeah?” ”Do you think… Robin could be like… apart of a gang or something” He stopped dead in his tracks and gave the most humorous laugh. He almost fell over. “ROBIN BUCKLEY??” You rolled your eyes, “it could explain the money, and why she’s always so late.” Jonathan nodded. “Understandable, but yet again. It’s Robin ‘Give me the newest Cabbage Patch Kid doll’ Buckley.” The two of you laughed. You parted ways as you showed up. You looked up at the house and noticed a crash sound coming from the top floor, Robin’s room. You grabbed the key Robin hid under the mat and struggled to unlock the door. You heard something fall from behind you.

“Junior?” You peered at the Yellow eyes that seemed to speak to you somehow. You shuddered and continued unlocking the door. “Robin? Baby? Are you okay?!” You shouted walking up the steps. “Yeah I’m okay!! I just erm- dropped something! My Teddy Ruxbin! You know how loud those things are!” You sighed in relief to hear your girlfriend’s banter again. “Doll! You can come in!” You opened the door, Robin’s hair was a mess. She was sitting on her bed, her window open. You closed it, shivering “Love, it’s freezing outside! You really shouldn’t have your window open, here let me grab you a jacket.” You headed towards her closet and Robin shouted “Wait!” You stopped in your tracks and turned around. “I- um- I I got you something!” You tilted your head. She grabbed your hand and gently kissed your fingers, with her other hand she pulled out a box of VHS tapes. It read “The Addams Family”. You gasped happily, you were either busy with schoolwork or your job that you hadn’t been able to catch the show while it was on. “Well I saw this, the entire collection and I couldn’t stop thinking about my little Moonray,” she pulled you onto her lap. “I would say I’m Gomez and your Morticia. But honestly Nighteyes, you are much much more ravishing.” She pulled you into a kiss, her black lipstick staining your lips.

There was still one thought on your mind, Where did it even come from? Her bag was far too small to fit it. There was no lump in her blanket… and why was Y/N Junior on the roof.

I'm thinking of giving the kids series special headers from now one, at least some of them.

It won't fit with the blog theme but it will fit with story theme based on the prompt.

Here are some examples, i tried to make them seem cartoony and take some themes from flashgames or old cartoon tv channels. what do you guys think?

Checking yourself in the car mirror for the third time in a row, you adjusted and smoothed down your clothes, smiling at your reflection, you felt more confident in this outfit as you got out of the car. 

The house shouldn't be far off from how Porco described it, a mere small walking distance, although it felt like eternity as you checked the time in your phone, 5pm 

Nervous? Who, you? Noooo, never.

You checked the time again, 5:01pm 

You're not nervous, your legs are just shaking from...the cold yes the cold, so what if it's summer? It can still get cold...right?

Turning on your phone again, 5:02pm

...maybe a bit nervous, after all it's your first time coming over to his house. You've been seeing each other for a while and this felt like a big stepping stone in your relationship.

Well, almost a relationship, you see the only problem is that neither of you addressed it yet. Having been on multiple dates and knowing each other for 3 months should've done it by now but Porco has never been the confrontational type. 

So far he's been nothing but a great guy, dating him made you realise the length he's willing to go just to help you, you could call him at 3am and he'd be there in no time.

And so you naturally wanted to take things further, make it more official. From his actions you too assumed he'd also want that, after all he's the one who suggested you come over and even offered to come pick you up.

So tonight is the night you'll ask him where this relationship is going.

Finally finding the house, you walked to the front door. The lights were on and as you got closer you could hear a quiet muffled talking inside, you knocked. 

"It's going to be okay" you thought, "why else would he stay this long if he didn't take it seriously."

As the door opened, you were met with Porco's apologetic expression as he was in the middle of a call, he gave you a small smile before stepping aside to let you in, closing the door behind you.

"What about Colt?" He continued his conversation, "...no she didn't mention anything about Zeke and him having a night shift." 

Turning to face you, he leaned his back against the door as his lips drew into a frown. 

"Bertolt? Annie? Did you ask them?" He seemed to get more annoyed with the person he's talking to, "so what if they live too far away? Besides, you know their parents hate me." 

Silence stilled the room for some seconds as Porco gave a heavy sigh, murmuring a quiet "fine, just hurry up." Before ending the call.

Crossing his arms, he looked at you with his I-have-bad-news look, except that nothing actually came out of his mouth.

"Is...everything okay?" You asked, as he went to pick up the wine bottle and glasses from the table, stashing them back in the cabinets. 

"Yeah everything is just perfect." Shaking his head, Porco looked at you with a pained expression. "Say...do you like kids?" 

"Do I like kids?"

"Yeah kids, you know like babies but older"

…

And that's how you ended up on the couch with four kids eyeing you with mixed looks of curiosity and suspicion.

The dark haired one, who introduced himself as Udo, was the first to speak, after him Falco followed. Although the two girls didn't seem interested, especially the blonde one, whom Udo said was Zofia, who only met you with silence when you said hi.

Their attention turned towards Porco when he stepped inside the house after talking with the blond guy who drove them there.

"Alright, so Reiner gave me a list of everything you have to do." he said, eyes scanning the long piece of paper.

Only to crumble it and throw it in the nearest trash, "your bedtime is at 10 and he wants me to cook what now? yeah no, fuc-" stopping himself at the last second, he took out his phone "okay so who wants pizza?"

The food worked like magic in making them warm up to you, especially when you convinced Porco to order ice cream too afterwards, they looked at you like you were a god.

As Porco interacted with them, you saw a side of him you've never seen before.

A more playful and light side, the smile never left his face as he assured Gabi she can take a couple sips of his monster energy drink and he wouldn't tell Reiner.

The kids clearly thought he was cool, and by association alone and the fact Porco kept an arm around you, you too became cool in their eyes.

Falco was the most curious about you as he asked you questions every now and then, while a bit awkward you didn't mind answering.

Gabi already liked you the second you gave her your pizza slice, she seemed interested about what you do for work and if you know how to fight.

Udo and Zofia usually just observe, only adding a comment every now and then.

When Porco went to the store for some snacks, both of them looked you straight in the eyes.

 Zofia asked what's your relationship to Porco, it almost made you choke on your drink.

"Well you're dressed in a fancy way, you were here before us and Porco put more effort in his appearance." She said with narrowed eyes.

"The house is also cleaner than usual and we saw a car parked close by, it's too late for a friend to be visiting which means it's a..." Udo continued her train of thoughts

"...a date!!" Falco said, face turning red. He scolded the other two, "we shouldn't be talking about that."

"What date?" Gabi said through a mouthful of ice cream.

Thankfully the front door opened before you had to answer.

You made sure not to leave Porco's side after what happened, you swear you could still feel the goosebumps on your arm.

When Gabi suggested playing videogames, you could still feel their eyes on you.

Not minding that most of his games are R rated, Porco happily gave Gabi the controller to his ps4 before sitting on the couch. 

You were about to sit on the other side, but like a fast flash of lightning, Falco took the seat before you.

….huh, okay that's fine you'll just sit on the armchair- and Gabi just took it.

Alright the couch is big, you can still find a place...why are there plushies sitting next to Zofia and Udo?

"It's for moral support," Zofia said.

"I get nervous without them," Udo explained.

And so the only space left was right next to Porco, who only locked at you with a confused expression. 

Was he...not noticing what’s going?

Sitting next to him, he tried to hide how eager he was to lean his head against you. Soon enough his arm followed too by attempting to sneak around you as the kids were busy playing.

It was some fighting game, Mortal Kombat, Porco said.

When it was his turn to play, you noticed that Porco was actually pretty good at it, too good that he started purposely being bad just so the kids would win.

You couldn't help but chuckle at his attempt to pretend to be disappointed that he lost.

Well actually, he almost won against everyone, because when it was your turn against him, you noticed how he'd freeze for a second whenever your shoulder or legs brushed.

Porco has never lost this many rounds before in his life.

After that kids started another game, a horror one this time.

As they played, Porco pulled you from the living room and into the kitchen.

Looking around the room as Porco went to dig through the cupboards, you saw a hanging rack with pots and pans dangling from it, a fruit bowl with two bananas and some green apples inside. 

The muffled sound of the kids disappeared when you closed the door, only the soft buzzing of the fridge remaining. 

You couldn't help but wonder if it's a good idea to leave them alone in a room with a horror game.

The clinking of glasses against the wine bottle interrupted your thoughts as Porco handed you one

"Here, you deserve it after putting up with all of this." He said, leaning against the counter next to you before taking a sip of his own. "I had a whole night prepared for us, and yet…" 

Stashed next to the toaster, you could see some cooking utensils ready almost as if they were prepared to be used, next to it as a bouquet of roses although now they're wilting. Porco's head was lowered, a bitter look on his face as he sloshed the red liquid in his glass before finishing it in one go. 

Your hand slowly wrapped around his, thumb rubbing against it before giving it a squeeze. You reassured him that it's okay, it wasn't in his hand and he didn't have time to notify you, plus the kids are a delight. 

"Next time, how about my place instead?" You said, gently nudging him, "you can even bring these pots since you owe me a cooked dinner."

That earned you a smile from him, setting the empty glass aside before he cornered you against the counter.

"Yeah? Doubt that you can handle my cooking." He teased back, holding your chin in place before giving you a light kiss.

The playful atmosphere didn't last long, for the kiss served as a reminder of why you came here in the first place. Your hand put some pressure on his chest that made him pull away.

"What's wrong?" He said with a frown, stepping back to give you space. "Did i do som-"

"No. It's just that…" you interrupted him, "Porco, what are we exactly? Is this a relationship or are we just friends wit-" 

Before you could finish, a high pitched scream came from the living room where the kids were.

I'd love nothing more than to see teen Gabi and Falco be as cute/cringy (as a compliment) as humanly possible in their middle school relationship

Like I'm talking things like

Changing their pfp to black whenever they're mad at each other

Using "baka, XD, owo, uwu" unironicly

Captioning the pic they posted on Instagram of them playing in the kids area in a pizza place that Reiner took them to as "me and my boo"

Breaking up every time Falco misses a text from Gabi bc he was playing fortnite or when Gabi partners up with Udo for the chemistry class project

Only to be back together the next day, their stories filled with relationship quotes like "if you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best"

Falco in a blue suit 2 sizes bigger than him, gripping the single rose he saved up to buy from the flower shop in an iron grip while sweating buckets as he rings Gabi's door to ask her mom if Gabi is there because they agreed to go together to prom

Yes omg!! Imagine Levi finally opening up a teashop and onyankopon helps him out. Gabi and Falco visit and help out every now ans then til it gets to the point where they just end up working there. At first they're shy and don't wanna get paid until Levi threatens to lock them out if they don't accept their salary

The kiddos squad going there after school, occasionally with either pock & pieck, rei, or colt or just them and they always order the same cake and pastry. At first Levi is annoyed because gabi they're loud and spend hours there without ordering anything else but over time levi kinda just keeps a slice of their usual orders when it's running out so they can still have some, or brings a few cars games for "customer use"

Izzy you're making me wanna start a separate kiddos series just for Levi, Onyankopon and Petra's adventure with these chaotic toddlers.

Anyway i love you, here's some headcannons for each of these scenarios

17y Gabi and Falco working part time at Levi's cafe

They met for the first time when Falco stopped to offer them help in carrying boxes one Monday morning on his way to school, Onyankopon accepted the help before Levi could tell Falco no.

After that, Onyankopon sent him off with some fresh pastries that Petra just finished making as compensation for making him late to school.

Falco ended up sharing it with Udo, Zofia and Gabi at lunch time on the roof before telling them what happened.

Gabi really really liked the pastries so she went with Falco to the Cafe after school.

Levi recognised him the second he walked through the door

With Gabi almost spending all of her Reiner's money on the pastries there and Falco really liking the Coffee and Tea, they didn't realise how much time had passed.

Wanting to make up for staying past closing time, Falco again offers to help when Petra was taking the trash outside but Gabi beats him to it just to prove she's more capable.

This scenario repeats for two weeks at least, each day on their way to school, Gabi and Falco would pay this cafe a visit, help swipe some tables, carry heavy stuff or wash some dishes in exchange for food after spending all their allowance money Colt's there

Zofia and Udo aren't complaining because they keep getting free pastries for lunch each day

At one point they spend as much time their as the employees and so Petra and Onyankopon talk to Levi about making them part timers

To their surprise, Levi already came to work that day with two flyers for open jobs to hang at the entrance.

Of course, he ends up rejecting every person who asks about it.

Although when Gabi and Falco finally arrive, they walk past it and don't notice it the whole time.

Levi tries drawing their attention to it by sweeping near the flyers and making a small conversation with them, they don't catch on.

Petra purposely points out how nice the weather is just so they look at the window with the flyers on it, they look at the other far window instead.

Onyankopon stands next to the flyers, exaggerating a sigh while looking at the both of them, they ask him what's wrong.

He just looks at the flyers, they assume he's looking at the window and offer their umbrella's if he's worried about the rain.

Levi gets fed up with it, and so when they finish helping around the kitchen and pick up their bags to leave, Gabi and Falco repeatedly try to open the door 5 times before realising it's locked.

Behind them Levi is there with his arms crossed, saying they should sit their ass back down for the job interview.

He even pays them upfront for the week because he knows they were broke from buying everything in yesterday sale.

The still immature 17y old who still have fights in the middle of street like they used to become Gabi thinks Falco was implying she's weak when he got her a medium cola instead of a large. What does he think she can't handle her cola huh?

Or Falco throwing a tantrum because Gabi made fun of his long neck shirt, calling him a turtle and he was so embarrassed he almost went to the nearest shop to change into whatever shirt he sees first.

Or maybe the both of them reminding Levi of an old married couple instead of the supposedly blossoming youth romance because they just keep nagging each other while being oblivious to any romantic gestures.

Both of them inviting Levi and Onyankopon on a picnic, because Levi always stands up for them you can't convince me he can't fight, this man is still as capable as before and Onyankopon for always acting like the peacemaker between them and just knowing how to convince trick them into making up.

Levi complaining like an old man the whole time and nitpicking small things like how the sheet they're sitting on is crocked, but stops when they offer him handmade sandwiches and tea, and it's clearly they're nervous and looking forward for his reaction. Despite his grumpiness he gives a small nonchalant compliment before sipping on his tea that makes the both of them smile like little kids.

While Onyankopon would have brought him and Levi some wine to share because they just know they will need it with the way Gabi is eyeing that one squirrel who's looking at Falco's sandwich. And he even looks the other way when Falco attempts to sneak a sip of the wine he left in the basket.

Him and Levi just watching nature and basking in the sun while eating Biscuits and crackers and sipping on tea and wine, completely not giving a reaction to Gabi who's chasing that their squirrel in her long dress because he finally stole Falco's sandwich while he was taking a bite. Meanwhile Falco is running after Gabi to tell her it's okay and people are staring please sit down we're already banned from 5 different parks.

Or are we talking about kiddos Gabi and Falco who stumble upon Levi siting alone on a park bench, while they were bug hunting and deciding their mission for the day should be to cheer up this old man who's dressed in shades of black and white. And Falco's need to help others overpowers his rational thinking to leave the man alone and is 100% on board with Gabi.

Meanwhile Levi can hear them whispering because they're clearly in plain sight attempting to hide behind a thin tree, he doesn't bat an eye but knows it's going to be a long day.

By the end of the day both Gabi and Falco come back to Reiner's house, exhausted and drenched in mud. Gabi not questioning why Udo and Zofia still hang out in her cousin's house even while she was away, before telling them the whole story of that mystery stone man.

The next day instead of finding two very annoying kids hiding behind the same tree, Levi finds four kids thinking a thin tree branch is enough to cover them all.

Oh no, they're multiplying.

The thought of changing the park crosses his mind, but this one is the nearest to his work and he doesn't want to leave the tea shop unattended for a long time despite how much he trusts Petra to take care of it.

The same goes for the other three, they don't act like their true selves while around adults, Gabi is starstruck with Reiner, Udo is really shy around any adult, Falco only offers help, Zofia doesn't trust adults but puts on a polite front.

YES! Porco and marcel would definitely be up there! I truly believe in Galliard supremacy 😤 and yes omf porco learned from marcel, and he's pretty good st taking care of the kids because he vibes with them enough to let them have fun but is also responsible enough since he usually has to drag Colt's ass when he gets too wasted

Porco to them is more like the fun older friend than an actual adult babysitting them lmao- they just treat him as one of the group.

And absolutely, he's definitely the one keeping Pieck and Zeke in line from letting the kids jump of a hill or disturb a nest of wasps.

Tbh i think the four of the kids combined could probably never get in the same amount of troubles that kid Porco got in, and that's probably why he's so good at befriending them because he knew what's it like being like that as a kid.

From who I'd trust the most to least with the kids, it would definitely be reiner, colt, the Galliards, bert (poor baby would be overwhelmed with them though), annie (she would scare the boys, get into a fight with gabi, but zofia would totally see herself in annie), and a tie between pieck and zeke. pieck would treat them like 5 year olds and let them run too wild and would leave then unattended for too long while zeke would be an enabler for whatever insane idea they have for sure

That's spot on to how it is! Like Zeke and Pieck are their parents first (eh second after Reiner) picks because both of them just keep appearance all day and the adults would never ever question the goofy children doctor or the sweet lady with a cane.

A hill i will die on is that Marcel taught Porco everything he knows about babysitting, and mixed with their own interactions as kids resulted in Porco’s current babysitting style.

Here's who I think the kid's favourite are

For Zofia, you're right it's 100% Annie, she's is taking notes the second Annie steps through the door tbh, she'll be staring at her before asking all sorts of weirdly specific and almost personal questions to gather more data

Although she might prefer dealing with Porco because she can low-key trick him into something and make it seems like it was his idea.

I think it's Colt she'd have the most trouble with because he's learned all the tricks from his little brother and so his strick rules never bend no matter how adorable the puppy eyes are.

For Udo it's definitely Reiner, he just doesn't have to worry about his own safety with him, not to mention he kinda looks up to him.

As a second I think he'd really like Marcel, he's like a responsible angry-free Porco without losing the "cool" privileges, although since he isn't around a lot.

Udo doesn't like it when Porco watches over them even one bit, he's just constantly on edge.

You know Falco is picking his own brother, he's Colt's number one hype man. Plus he actually feels the most comfortable with him and can be himself freely.

Although he's still aware of how little free time Colt has, so his second pick would be Zeke Bertolt, he just thinks he's neat...well the actual reason is because he loves his dog

Annie scares him, like actual fear, he can't meet her eyes when it's her turn.

Gabi is picking Reiner, like in all spots she'd just repeatedly pick Reiner no matter how much you explain to her that the second spot has to be a different person.

After some time she might admit her liking to Pieck because she gives the best hugs, secretly Gabi likes taking naps with her after running wild around all day

She doesn't trust Zeke, he's shady and she's seen him talk to a scary looking tall women once yet no one seems to believe her because she doesn't notice things usually, but with Zeke her guts are screaming danger maybe bc of the yeager genes lmao

I’m just imagining Zeke babysitting the kids with his s/o, and his partner is super responsible and cautious etc. So they’re always on the look out for potential fights, injuries, or straight up bad ideas. And Zeke is just chilling, letting the kids have monster energy drinks and stay up all night watching movies that aren’t appropriate for them. His s/o is losing their mind, over 1) how pissed Colt is gonna be 2) how Zeke is okay with all of this and 3) having to deal with sick, scared kids

For Zeke, each time he makes a kid smile, whether it's because he let them eat and extra piece of candy or let them watch the entire collection of Saw movies, is a big fuck you to Grisha.

Zeke allows the kids to take advantage of him by his own will, he knows their traps and is willingly walking into them.

When Colt was talking about an upcoming dinner date he might have to cancel because he promised Falco a sleepover with the kids, it's Zeke who comes to the rescue and offers to let the kids chill at his place while Colt goes and have fun.

And because Colt didn't know better, and he thought Zeke is a much better option than Porco, he agreed.

Oh he couldn't be more wrong.

Zeke's definition of chill, is apparently driving around with the kids and letting Gabi hold the steering wheel for some seconds.

She would never forget the rush of power it gave her, like she was on top of the world.

Of course he couldn't bring them home on an empty stomach could he?

No that wouldn't do, so Falco what was that fast food place you almost made Colt get bankrupt buying you meals for toys from?

The kids end up eating everything their little hearts desired, starting with chilly food and ending with ice cream, then asking for snacks on the way home.

Was it a combination that would give them a stomachache the next day? Oh definitely.

Zeke doesn't even look at what they put in the basket while at the grocery store, he just lets them go wild while he's busying texting you asking what do you want him to pick from the store.

Zofia slips in those expensive fancy chocolate treats, Gabi doesn't even attempt being subtle while filing the cart with all the energy drinks she dreamed of.

Udo basically looks at the list his mother made for things he isn't allowed, and treats it like a shopping list.

Falco bought more popsicles and ice cream than it's possible for him to eat in a day.

You were coming home bit late that day, already feeling drained.

Zeke's considerate text checking if you needed anything from the store and informing you that he's ordering food from your favourite restaurant tonight was the highlight of your day.

Although one thing that made you bit nervous, is that he mentioned having his little cousins visiting.

Getting last minute news that changes your routine was something that never sat right with you, you've always like to be prepared for things.
