dude (gnc) your post about ranveer singh/kayvan novak is SO ACCURATE bestie... BUT instead of khalibali its binte dil for me. that song has thee vibes (imagine soft nandor ugh)
(I’m a guy lmao it’s okay you can dude me haha, loving the (gnc) though I’ll use that) but YES ! Yes are you normal or do you listen to Binte Dil on repeat ? Me, personally……
Also I YET have to watch Padmaavat (2018) but from Binte Dil I just feel like Malik Gafur could be very much Guillermo tending to Nandor in the bathroom……….back in Al Qolnidar…..I’m going insane. Insane.

So, there was a train of thought that lead to me having to dig up the music video for Khalibali from the movie Padmaavaat. I don’t know if you’re familiar with the film, but I’m going to assume you are not, because the only people I know who’ve seen it, or even heard of it, are me and my spouse. It’s a bollywood epic, based on a Rajput saga of the same name that dates back to about the 14th Century. And, if you can put up with 4 hours of subtitles, it is an ABSOLUTE blast. The cinematography is gorgeous. The acting is really good. And you can SEE the Choreography here.
This Richard Armitage looking fellow is the Sultan Alauddin, who having murdered his way to the top of the Mughal Empire, now finds himself with a dilemma. He desperately wants to marry a particular Rajput princess, but there are two slight minor issues with this.
The first is that she is, in fact, already married. The second is that she is, in fact, very much in love with her husband. Alauddin reckons to solve both these issues through the magic of copious quantities of extreme and gratuitous violence, but while he waits on his plans coming to fruitition, he will have his personal bodyguard do dance routines, WITH THEIR HALBERDS to his emo love poetry. I have just three questions. The first is, how many casualties did they suffer practicing for that? Be like trying to dance a ceilidh in a blender! It would improve on the second attempt, but only because there’d be that many fewer limbs to accidentally lop off.
Secondly, how do you explain it to your men? “Alright, you sons of mothers, listen up. We’re going to practicing some new polearm formations and manoeuvres. With some pretty fancy footwork. To music. No it’s not... okay, it is dancing. But with weapons. So shut your yap and get to it.”
Thirdly, how often do you do this sort of thing that your bodyguard just IMMEDIATELY drops into the appropriate choreography.

Rules: shuffle your repeat playlist and post the first ten tracks, then tag ten people.
I wasn't specifically "tagged" by @critter-of-habit, it was more like an open invite to anyone who wanted and I was bored. (I also don't know what a 'repeat playlist' is so I just used my 'At The Moment' playlist of songs currently stuck in my head)
Woman King - Iron & Wine
Geronimo - Sheppard
Carnivore - Starset
Khalibali - Shivam Pathak & Shail Hada
So Say We All - Audiomachine
Somewhere Else To Be - VAST
Encore - Wildstylez
American Horror Show - Snow Wife
Little Talks - Of Monsters and Men
Baller Los - Mero
Tagging: @cattatoir, @duckyskade, @isagrimorie, @nudityandnerdery, @piratekane, @racethewind10, @sapphicstacks, @witticaster, @xactodreams, and for the tenth tag: anyone who wants to do this.
