The Burlington Bounty AU

I'll be explaining the lore here. Long post ahead.

In this AU Keith, Cherry, Darnell, Pico, Nene would all go to the same high school. Keith is 18. Pico is 19, Cherry is 17, Darnell is 14, and Nene is 13. They would at first mutually get along and gradually bond with one another and form a pack with each other. Unlike in the original AU of mine, because he was already close friends with Pico, Cherry and Nene who were also friends with Keith, Darnell and Keith eventually became good friends with each other after a little rough start.

Before he first met either of his friends in high school in both this AU and the original, Keith had a jockey personality and reckless behavior in public. He often got distracted easily during his classes and rarely ever paid attention. He spent a lot of time in detention for misbehavior and constantly attempting to woo other classmates and getting into fights with other boys and even girls (mainly Cassandra). This is mostly a result of his undiagnosed ADHD at the time that no one was well aware back then. He was mostly known for being a troublemaker and had a bad reputation to everyone in town. His parents were both mortified by this and often questioned him why he acted like this when he was usually well-behaved at home. They’d often have to ground him because of this.

Upon meeting Pico in his first year as a freshman at 16, Keith would try to talk with the ginger-head, who at first tried to avoid him after constantly hearing about Keith from Nene and Darnell. He’d ultimately find himself failing and would frankly start to think of Keith as a friend, much to his first two friends' disbelief. In Keith’s second year of having to redo 9th grade due to his slacking, Cherry would join in the two after moving to town. It was almost love at first sight for Keith when he first met her in class after her introduction. Despite a lot of her new classmates’ warnings about him, Cherry would fall hard for him just as bad in return after getting to talk with him after school. It was then that she and Pico would start to steer Keith away from his old jockey self that everyone recognized him for that he started to become far more behaved and sweeter. In time with the pursuing of Cherry and Pico, both Darnell and Nene would become closer to Keith and consider him a good friend. With his friend’s help, Keith would finally start to catch up with his grades and make his parents proud and happy for him.

However it goes downhill when he turns 18.

During the shooting caused by Cassandra and her own pack of Goth punks, the pack is scrambled and separated. Pico was alone at the time and he ended up nearly getting killed by Cassandra had Darnell and Keith (who had met up at some point) stepped in.

Unfortunately Darnell is shot and Pico and Keith are left to believe he's dead. The last goes up against Cass in a haze of fury and gets his throat severely damaged by the stock of her gun hitting him too hard. He would’ve been killed had Pico not picked up the gun he found and shot Cassandra in the eye.

Once she's presumably dead, the damaged pair try to find Cherry and Nene, but only find countless bodies of their classmates and stumble into some of the Goth Gang. They both separate after trying to flee from the punks out of the school, managing to kill one or two in defense. They lose touch, Keith just barely managing to get out of the streets and collapse out of shock and exertion. He's found later by the police when they arrive at the scene, and by then he's just regained consciousness from lying out there unseen since who knows when. Pico, Cherry, Darnell and Nene are all assumed lost or dead after not having been found, and Keith is left alone paralyzed to the bone.

After getting hospitalized for his injured throat, he gets word from his parents that Cherry had been found unconscious hiding in the janitor's closet for nearly two days and that she had also been hospitalized from starvation. He got to see her one last time while she was still unconscious in the hospital before her angry parents prohibited him from ever seeing her again. They still believe he was the irresponsible boy from before and didn’t want him anywhere near their daughter ever again, mainly faulting him with the mindset that he wasn't there for her when she needed him most despite being her boyfriend.

Cherry wouldn't take not being allowed to contact Keith well at all. She'd avoid talking to her parents for almost a year after they moved out of town to Newsground City, and would also grow very depressed. She would struggle to finish high school at 20, and much like in the original AU she would move out of her parents' to study for a culinary degree, though here it was more for the sake of getting away from them. She would live most of her life haunted by her past and constantly mourning for her friends at the end of the workday.

Nene and Pico had been assumed dead since they were never found. Keith never fully believed it since he was never told they had found their bodies, but a part of him broke to have been told that. To add to the turmoil, it was confirmed that Cassandra's body wasn't anywhere at the scene where Pico and Keith last recalled leaving her. The second was left extremely paranoid after getting word of this on the news

Pico's story would continue fairly the same as in the original AU with only a few minor alternatives regarding his past friendship with Cherry and Keith. He’d have been harder to trust and grow closer to others due to the fear of losing them like he did at first.

Nene and Darnell are indeed still alive and barely managed to escape the school. The second had been shot in the shoulder twice and passed out on the outskirts of the nearby forest where he had been found some days later. The first had escaped with Pico like in the original AU and would part ways with him near the interstate.

After the tragedy Keith grew extremely distraught and despondent, suffering severe PTSD, OCD, depression and agoraphobia. His larynx had been damaged from Cassandra hitting him with the gun, and he wouldn't be able to speak because of the pain. He was pulled out of school and wouldn't ever go back to studying. His family moved out of that town and to a smaller and quieter town a few months after. His parents had gotten him into therapy in a desperate attempt to help him, but his lack of cooperation and overall despondency would prove otherwise. At some point after he turned 21 he decided to leave his burdened parents with only a note telling them that he was sorry for causing them such stress with his existence and that they wouldn’t have to worry about him anymore.

He would wander from town to town as an adult. He’d be introduced to the world of crime to survive, but that would quickly go downhill when he'd get into street fights with thugs or even random people after being angrily provoked for not being able to speak. The fights would end with him accidentally killing his opponents with his sheer strength and bare hands, gaining the attention of law enforcers. He’d lived his life constantly on the run from city to city, becoming an infamous bounty that was wanted dead or alive almost nationwide, wandering alleys and sewers and busy places as disguised as he could be. He'd stain the name of his family for generations to come. At some point he'd become such a dreaded criminal that even other criminals wouldn't dare mess with him. Sometimes just to avoid getting into any beef with him, other criminals or thugs would willingly help him with whatever he'd want or need: money, food, a place to stay for the night. Anything to keep him from getting angry and snapping their necks.

At some point he'd end up in Newground City, where he would meet Pico one night after the ginger had been hired anonymously to take him down. The two would recognize each other before any bullets were shot, and Pico would quickly realize that his old alpha partner was no longer the sweet dork from high school, but rather a broken and twisted echo of him. He wouldn't be able to bring himself to go through with the job, and would instead find himself being unable to shake the man off him.

Keith would meet Cherry later on one night upon walking near the restaurant she worked at when she was just stepping out and parting ways with her co-workers. She wouldn't recognize him at first, but after looking harder she'll come to the heart-wrenching realization that this mute bounty is her old lover from high school. She would reunite with Pico, and the two would have trouble trying to escape Keith's possessiveness and the danger that chases his very life for all of his brutal offenses driven from his frustration. They’ll have to choose whether to save the lives of people by helping the city arrest Keith, or become (knowns) criminals themselves for loving him because of who he used to be.

Since he was 6, he seemed to be very smart, more than other kids of his age, that caused him to be a victim of bullying but he always haved his family support, that helped him get over it, lately he leaved normal school and started to study in his own house, sometimes with the help of their parents but mainly by him in person.

The little village where he grew up is still a little bit outdated so their old traditions are still in the village's daily life, one of this traditions that taked Keith's attention was alchemy, the idea of making great thing out of simple things maked him get very excited about it, so at the age of 7 he started to learn about it really faster, his family were very supportive about it and constantly helping him with the ingredients and more of that.

One day when he was searching more minerals with his sister, they met one of the actual best friends of Keith, Miku, she's the responsible of Keith and Seraphine's interest in music.

In the same age, Keith started to try more things with his own formulas, this attracted too much problems because their reactions sometimes went wrong, affecting the village and gaining bad reputation to the family, his family were worried about that, specifically his mom, but nothing really serious.

Not all of his formulas were a success, some ones maked him get chemical burns ( actually hiding them with his gloves) and one important accident, when he was trying to make a new formula for hair loss problem ( trying to help the village people with this problem ) it went wrong and explode making that red hair stripe in Keith's hair, he tried to dye it but didn't worked.

Everything was okay while the years passed but one event that marked Keith and his family was when he was 13, one day when he was trying to make another thing to help the village, something went wrong again, but was serious, that maked all the people be very upset, more than before, people started to attack Keith's family house in protest, this maked him get stressed, he was confused, he was just trying to help all the village and now they accused him and his family of being a potential danger, in a act of frustration and anger, he decided to make their accusations real and started to make a new component, one potentialy dangerous, his dad tried to persuade him, he didn't listened to his dad and in a struggle with him, he let fall the component in his table full of more formulas and it maked react all of them exploding...after 4 days, Keith woke up in a hospital, he was just a little bit hurted, that was a miracle, he was still confused but when he remembered everything, he asked for his father...but he was dead, he didn't survived the accident, he killed his own father.

Because of that, his mom was very upset about him and alchemy in general, in act of prevent him from being imprisoned and because she wanted him to be away, his mom sent him to another country with his sister, Keith was in a big depression because of everything, feeling guilty.

His sister and him never told about their history to anyone.

Now in USA, he got into a school like the old times, the first months were difficult, he was very shy but when he met one girl, Giselle, he became more friendly, they became best friends, and then, Giselle introduced her friend Nene to him, and because of Nene he met Pico, Darnell and his first love interest, Cassandra, since he met Cass, he was very attracted to her, she wasn't but loves Keith so much as a friend, he started to show her his alchemy skills, trying to impress her, and it worked, he was trying everything to conquer her but it didn't worked, instead of that, Cass started to see him as a lil brother figure but he didn't noticed that.

Another closet friend of him was Pico, they're best friends, well, Keith see him as a best friend but Pico falled in love with him.

One year later, because of Cassandra's personal problems, she attacked the entire school with a group of friends making a school shooting, that surprised Keith but he remembered the whole thing in the village and the way he became just because an anger attack and tried to confront her but failed at it, she tried to kill him but was helped by Pico, Keith was very disappointed, he was losing someone again.

When everything finished and after days, he never saw Pico, Nene, Darnell and Cassandra again, he lost his friends.

The only friend he had was Giselle, they became more closer but nothing more and then they became a singer duo.

In the next years, he met a new girl in the school, her name was Sky, he treated her really nice and then she falled in love with him but in a obssesive way, she was trying always to be with him but he wasn't interested in her.

When he became 16, he found Pico again, but something was different with him, he became more agressive and then, like with Cass he tried to confront him with a singing battle and with a discourse, it didn't worked that day but after two days, Pico searched him again and made the passes with Keith, after that, they became boyfriends.

At present, Keith is still searching Cassandra and still misses his mother, he hopes that one day she will forgive him.

🎀 -Very extrovert, a supportive person, always wanting people to be happy, defined as the starry-eyed songstress and a dreamy girl.

Seraphine is Keith's big sister, she's a very supportive and friendly person, since she was younger, she always been very talented at music things but she didn't formally dedicated to it until later, other of her talents was curative medicine using flowers of her mom shop, then she was able to improve it thanks to Keith's alchemy.

The interest of her to that type of medicine was because she have a problem that causes her to perceive the noises more louder than anyone and that caused her very painful headaches, so it helped so much.

When she was 10, her dad maked a machine that regulated her problem, now she uses it most of the time.

When she and Keith met Miku, they became a very closer friend of Miku, constantly visiting her house and was then when Miku told them that she was a musician and then, Seraphine instantly got interested on being a musician too, so she started to take it seriously and sometimes she was on the village's kiosk playing the guitar and singing for all people, her goal was to make people happy with her music, the bad reputation because of his brother alchemy maked it more difficult but people seemed to like her music.

When all the Keith problematic happened and her dad was dead, she was very sad, she loved her dad so much but she was sad and worried too because of his brother and the big problem he was in now with all the village and his mom, when their mother decided to send Keith away, she insisted to go with him and their mom accepted it, the last time she went to her dad room ( or what was left of it ) she found a birthday present box with her name in it, her birthday was close and that was the present that he was going to give her, she took the box and opened it, a very beautiful microphone was in there with a small note, it said "For the best singer ♡"; she started crying, that was the last gift of her dad.

Now in USA, she became a worker on a coffee shop, she received money from her mother but she also wanted to get it by her own, one day when she was working on a event in the coffee shop, she participated in the karaoke just for fun, in that same day, a group of girl went to the shop just hang out, they were from a famous group, K/DA, when they heared Seraphine's voice, they interested so much in her and asked her to be in their group, surprised for that oportunity she didn't asked more and accepted.

In respect of Keith's new friends, she always was very friendly to them and she was the only one who noticed by herself that Pico was in love with Keith but she didn't talked about it, also she knowed about Keith's love interest in Cassandra.

When the school shooting happened, she was very worried about her brother, she promised to herself about protect him and was frustrated about the situation, for her luck, he was okay but when he told her everything and his loss, she was the one who helped him searching his friends again.

🌸 - She used to be a lovely person and very extrovert, now is a little bit more reserved, she still interacts with people in a friendly way but not much as before.

Nolla is the mother of Keith and Seraphine, when she was younger, she used to be a folkloric dancer and singer in a tavern, one day she met a guy that was impressed with her talent, they talked for a while and they started to hang out more, after months they started to be a couple, they haved their first child when Nolla was 18, when she was pregnant, she leaved her job in the taverns and started her own bussines with flowers, opening her flower shop with her boyfriend. After Seraphine was born, they decided to get married.

After 3 years, they decided to have another child, Keith, they were a happy family, with their brilliant and talented childs and their small bussines, the problems started when the failures of Keith's inventions appeared, the family started to get bad reputation but it wasn't too serious for them.

Before of the big accident, she was she was doubtful if she would continue accepting Keith's inventions, she didn't wanted problems with the village but as a supportive mother, she didn't wanted to limit him, when the accident occurred she regretted so much that she didn't limited him, she was full of anger, she blamed the village people for having started the conflict and blamed her own son for being incompetent with it, now she hated everything related to alchemy, maybe it wasn't Keith's fault but she didn't wanted to see him anymore and was when she decided to send him away, it was also to avoid him to being imprisoned.

nowadays, she's still on Germany, working on her flower shop, the bad reputation is still up but not as before, the conflict stopped when her husband died, people felt bad about it and some people are very supportive with Nolla.

She isn't as happy as before, she tries to look happy and more friendly in front of people but when she's alone, she's still crying for his husband, never forgeting him, one of her more supportive friends is Miku, after everything she started to work at Nolla's flower shop and always trying to be an emotional support for Nolla, she started to see Miku as her daughter.

even if she won't admit it, she misses Keith so much.

Well! I wanted to upload the full lore of every character in my FNF au ;u; so I decided to start with Keith and his family, the AU is ambiented in early 2000's!! ( just to clarify )

Sorry if is a little bit bad, i'm not good at it, is the first time that I work so much in a AU ( also, english isn't my main language--- )

Another thing to clarify is something obvious, some of the lore things are inspired by tts because is my comfort show💖🎀

This is the first post of more!! I'll post the other characters later, It took 3 days to write this-- so maybe I'll late with the other ones, the next post will be with Pico, Nene, Darnell and Cassandra.

Yandere Friday Night Funkin Characters Headcanons

These headcanons are about the polyamorous relationship "BF x GF x Pico x Reader"

I TRANSLATED THESE HEADCANONS WITH GOOGLE TRANSLATOR AND MY LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH. If anyone of you notice any grammar and spelling errors, please let me know.

Warning: The characters are OOC. In this headcanon BF doesn't speak with "beep-bops", he speaks normal. All characters are +20 years old. Contains mentions of unhealthy relationships, stalking, violence, manipulation, torture, and murder.

BF / Keith

Obsessive yandere.

Despite his street outfit and his mocking and sarcastic attitude, he is a child in need of affection

He is a love-struck guy and he had a few lovers throughout his life, but his obsessive tendencies only manifested with Pico, Cherry and (Y / N).

He knows a large part of Cherry's life and Pico's dark secrets, he needs to know even the smallest detail about you: your likes, your passions, your fears, your goals, your dreams and hopes, EVERYTHING. This leads him to review all your social networks to find even the smallest information about your life.

He is very detailed, composing and singing songs about you, saving the money he has to take you and Pico to eat or to the cinema (he doesn't do the same with Cherry because she always pays the bills before he can take out his wallet) and he graffiti their faces on the dark streets of Philadelphia.

He will not deny you having contact with your family, having friends, a work and other types of human contact, but he would be very distrustful of others, demonstrating it in passive-aggressive comments and small malicious actions (such as closing doors in the face).

He's not aware of his yandere tendencies at all, since he believes that what he does is completely normal in a relationship.

He usually feels very nervous when he doesn't spend time with you, Pico and Cherry, he constantly checking your social networks to see your latest connections. He only calms down when you text him or give him physical affection.

Disputes are very rare, but when happen he panics, because seeing and hearing the anger, sadness and disagreement drives him crazy, he will start crying and begging for forgiveness, even if he did not start the dispute. This is a bad combination with Pico's attitude, and you generally comfort him.

In case someone comes to insult you, he will go into defensive mode. His silver tongue is his best weapon and he will begin to destroy the aggressor with words, be it in a freestyle battle or in a verbal fight.

If things get physical, Keith won't hesitate to fight. This little gremlin has fast and light feet, being able to deliver several kicks in a short time. Although he doesn't have much strength, he makes up for it with his speed and agility.

GF/Cherry

Manipulative Yandere.

Don't be fooled by her relaxed attitude and her pretty face, this demonic girl can be a real beast when she proposes it to her.

She had many lovers, but none of them lasted more than a few months, since they were only interested in her because of her appearance or her money, but that changed when she met Keith and (Y / N).

She loves to be given handmade things, even if they are not expensive, because she prefers something made with love and dedication (like a letter, a dessert or a song).

She has no qualms about spending huge amounts of money on you and Keith (and Pico when he joins), whether it's shopping for high-quality clothes, dining out at fancy restaurants, or going to expensive bars. Money has no value to her, but seeing your happy faces warms her heart.

Like Keith, Cherry will not deny you have contact with other humans, but she will monitor them very closely, without ANYONE noticing her. This girl is an evil detector, and at the slightest hint of malice or interest on the part of someone, she will manipulate you to end any friendship or relationship, without raising suspicion.

She is aware of her yandere tendencies, but she justifies herself by saying that she does everything for the sake of her relationships.

She doesn't get nervous as Keith when she doesn't spend time with you (she doesn't care so much about Poco because she knows he can take care of himself, although she still keeps an eye on him), since she can check your social networks to see how are you. If that doesn't reassure her, she can hire someone to watch over you or she can use her demonic powers to do it herself.

Disputes are rare and when they occur she doesn't lose her composure. She will try to reach an agreement between the two of you to solve the problem, but if things don't improve or she doesn't like the agreement, she is not afraid to use her manipulation tactics against you. She has manipulate Keith and Pico on more than one occasion, don't challenge her.

In case someone comes to attack you, that person only has 2 destinies: pain or death. If it was only a verbal attack, Cherry may spare their life and only leave their with severe trauma and physical injuries, depending on what their said (and depending on whether it's just you and her or Keith is there too). But if it was a physical assault, that person is dead, either at that moment (especially if Pico is there) or a few hours later, but their will definitely not see the dawn of a new day.

Pico

Possessive and overprotective yandere AF

He has a hard time being able to open up to others due to his dark past, and it is even more difficult for him to be able to fall in love with someone, but when he does, oh boy! he fall hard. He has only fallen in love with 2 people: Keith and (Y / N).

He isn't a very expressive person with his affection, being quite serious at first, but as things warm up he will show more and more acts of affection.

He doesn't know how to react when you give him things, he gets very nervous and blushes, even if you give him small things or very simple details. Anything you give him (except food) he will keep in a safe and he cherished for a lifetime.

He is very suspicious and aggressive towards anyone who comes into contact with you and Keith, even they be close friends or casual acquaintances. He only relaxes when he's with Cherry, Darnell, and Nene.

The traumas of his past make him reckless and impulsive, being someone violent, but directing that violence against other people instead of against you.

Pico is fully aware of his yandere and violent tendencies, coming to feel guilty for longing for your love, but at the same time he's feeling jealous and sick if he imagines you with someone other than him, Keith or Cherry.

He is a total paranoid when you are not near him, because the voices in his head torment him telling him that someone is going to hurt or kill you, he will reach the extreme of stalking you to know where you are to be able to calm him down. If he can't do this, he ask Cherry to keep an eye on you.

Disputes happen with some frequency, generally caused by his paranoia and fear (or when he hears Cassandra's voice telling him in his ear that she will torture and kill you to make him suffer).

These disputes can quickly turn into verbal fights where Pico dissociates himself from reality (this is noticeable because his eyes go from graylish green to pure white) and he can say very hurtful things. By now, you and Cherry should calm him down (or knock him out, whichever comes first).

If these disputes escalate too far, Pico will leave the house, with gun in hand, to vent his anger and frustrations on the first petty thief he meets (however, no one will be bothered if an unidentified corpse is found in an alley in the dangerous area of the city).

In case someone comes to attack you or Keith, that person is dead or invalid, without prior exchange of words. If it is a verbal attack, the bullet will lodge in their spinal column, and if it is a physical attack, in their skull, without any remorse. Suffering can be prolonged if Cherry is there.
