I had no idea pinkshipping existed!! or any ships with sigfried for that matter haha. what's the origin of that? It's been a while since i watched that arc, I am just really curious how it happened

To be fair, I'm actually an avid Axisshipper. But Pinkshipping/Katsujiku entices me in a different, more relaxing way. It's super rare and basically nonexistent sadly, I've never seen any content for it so I decided to make my own.

I can't say how it happened personally, ships kinda...happen in my head when I discover a certain dynamic I like. Siegfried's and Joey's interaction and chemistry is just very amusing to me.

It's mostly based on my headcanons. It's a ship that most likely won't function at all for various reasons. (and that's also an aspect why I like it so much, it's bittersweet.)

I wrote down a headcanon some time ago about how it all started. Feel free to check it out if you're curious. The fic is a continuation of the GP ending, so I recommend to rewatch DM episode 190+191 again (and the entire season if you feel like) with the idea of Pinkshipping behind it. Maybe you get the vibe, the chemistry of what could be.

(If you decide to watch the Japanese original; Siegfried and Joey have a VERY different characterization compared to the dub. Personally, I can not stand dub-Siegfried and his terrible voice acting, so I always prefer the subbed anime.)
