I've lately discovered a few fic authors mainly through reblogs, hashtags or because of those “Based on your likes” type of posts (I haven't read all of them yet, but I know who you are).
If you want your fics to be read, don't stick to the hashtags to promote them. Maybe you have no idea, but a lot of people in the Open Heart fandom actually blocked them years ago because they were a constant flow of hate, so they don't see what happens there.
Instead, tag accounts like @choicesficwriterscreations or @openheartfanfiction (or @openheartheadcanons if you write HC and @openheartfanart if you don't write, but you express yourself through other forms of art). You may also schedule time zone reblogs as many authors do, or just ask your mutuals to read, share and comment your work, I'm sure they'll be glad to help you.
We (readers) try to do our best to support writers, but many times we don't see everything that happens in the fandom.
