a/n: i hope this is what you wanted! enjoy ♡

you and your boyfriend are watching a movie in the living room at your house. you're cuddled up into his side while he holds you with one arm, fully focused on the movie.

as you admire jo's face, a voice interrupts you. "well hey there, lovebirds," your mom calls from the doorway. "honey, i'm headed to the store. need anything?"

you blush at her catching you in a vulnerable moment and shake your head no.

"alrighty then. don't do anything stupid."

jo watches as your mom walks out the door and then turns to you with a mischievous grin, leaning into you. "your mom's gone for at least an hour and your dad's at work? right?"

you nod, not understanding what he's getting at.

he leans in closer, nearly on top of you now. "so we're all alone...?"

"oh." you finally understand, now donning a grin of your own. "wanna make out?"

a few moments later you're being pressed into the couch by your boyfriend's larger body. his lips are moving in sync with yours in a heated kiss, his hands roaming your sides but stopping at your hips.

you both pull away to breathe and he moves down a bit to access your neck. he begins pressing feather-light kisses along your collarbone, and then you feel his teeth sink in.

he has to physically hold you down so you'll stop squirming as he bites and sucks little patches along your neck and collarbone.

"jo- don't leave any marks. it'll be hard to explain hickeys to my parents." you squirm your upper body more as he holds you down by your shoulders. he hums in acknowledgement against your skin.

you grip the collar of his t-shirt and pull him back up to connect your lips with his again. he cups your face gently and deepens the kiss.

just as you're about to return the favor and kiss his neck, you hear the door open. you pull him down onto you.

"pretend you're sleeping," you whisper frantically.

"i forgot my phone-" your mother cuts off as she sees your state, but she doesn't comment on how odd it is that you've both fallen asleep after just being awake a few minutes ago. you hear a quiet "aw" and the snap of a cell phone camera before the door closes again.

jo opens his eyes and winks at you.

you slap his chest and he flinches. "we almost got caught, you menace."

"oh, you know you enjoyed that. stop complaining."

- In the beginning of your relationship, he'd be having a hard time getting used to it.

- at first he doesn't hate it but doesn't love it either but just let's you and just stands there like 🧍‍♂️ ...

- once he gets used to it, he absolutely lovess it!! doesn't full on give you the same energy but he's just really smiley and hugs you back.

- doesn't mind when you're always beside him, loves the company and actually gets used to not being alone all the time

- one day he comes home exhausted from practice and he plops onto the bed beside you, giving you a bigg hug. this takes you by surprise because he has never initiated physical touch before this.

- you just lean into the hug and try to comfort him as much as you can without saying a word, he's been more open to physical touch ever since :(

- you always hold his hand and by this point he's comfortable with it, when he notices you're not holding his hand when you're together he holds yours.

- no mater how long you're together, he never stops getting flustered when you hug him from the back or randomly cling onto him

- one time, he was in the kitchen washing his hands and you started hugging him from behind without saying a word.. he turned into a tomato.

- the members are confused tbh, they don't know how you broke/glitched him into becoming as clingy as you.. he doesn't even let them come up from behind him

- cuddles in bed are the absolute best with him, he uses all of the hugs he has gathered up by not using them over the years when you cuddle in bed

- likes giving you his hoodies when you do this, but sprays your perfume on it so he can smell your scent when he cuddles into you <3

The street sign reads third avenue as jo awkwardly looks down at his shoes, the grip of his book bag stronger than before once you stand beside him with a phone in your hands, mindlessly scrolling as you wait for the bus to come. It’s like the birds chirp happily, the wind blowing through your hair once you enter the scene, the light of your aura beaming down on the boy so hard that he’s fallen, unable to tell right from left.

There’s no use telling you his name, or what he likes to do in his free time whenever he thinks about you, knowing that there would be another guy that's more assertive than him, someone who's less shy. Yet he hates longing for you from afar, when you don't even know that he exists – when he doesn’t actually know you. Maybe in another life, he could get to know you, he could know your favorite treats and surprise you with them daily. He could hold your hand, and look into your eyes, letting the smile slip from his lips without having to hide.

But in this life, he’d rather coward in a corner than to embarrass himself, letting his heart be consumed by the feeling of you, beating himself up later for falling a little too deep. So now he daydreams for your presence, longs for the few seconds of interaction, heart skipping for the moment you do make eye contact.. but beating a little faster when you maintain your gaze, taking a step forward toward him, as if trying to tell him that it’s okay, that he could talk to you. Was this his shot at telling you how he felt? He’d never know, glancing back at the street sign that read third avenue.

Well, first of all: Jo is not communicating when it comes to his feelings. It's like he can't. Therefore, I see a lot of challenges for him and his partner (n of course the relationship!)

He likes to show his feelings without words. Spending time together, buying things, eating... That's how he is able to show his feelings. Words aren't really his thing

So he IS caring, but words and 'normal' affection aren't really his thing

He can love you deeply without you knowing

I just had an idea.. what about sneaking kisses with jo? 🥰🥰

I'm going to bulletpoint this but:

has definitely hit his head on something

sometimes it's a quick peck while you think everyone looks away

others it's finding an empty stairwell with less subtle kisses

this man has to bend down so much

he's a giant that's it

so it makes spaces more limited too

awkward positions and head-bumping is the sum of these kisses, honestly

but neither one of you would trade it for the world

it's a dark, cold night. the sun set around three hours ago, so it's getting to be pretty late into the night.

you walk down the street clutching your jacket closer to your body, shoulders pulled nearly up to your ears.

that's when you hear footsteps behind you.

the first thing that's odd about this is the fact that this is a route you take home often, and you've literally never run into anyone at this time of night due to the roads all being side streets.

as a normally anxious person, you think of what you've been taught to do in this situation- the most common trick. you take three right turns in a row, not getting lost since you know the roads well. however, even as you come back to where you first heard the footsteps behind you, you can still hear them, and they sound as if they're coming closer.

you panic at this point, speeding up until you're nearly running. the footsteps become faster and louder to match your pace.

you make a sharp turn into a convenience store, but the man follows you inside. noticing the cashier looks like a teen who would likely not be of much help, you settle for heading towards the tall guy in the back near the drinks.

as you get near him, you grab his sleeve, effectively startling him. "did you wait for a long time?" he looks extremely confused. you have to lean up on your toes as much as possible to get closer to his ear because he's so much taller than you. you do so and explain the situation in a whisper as the man walks into the aisle behind you.

he quickly looks concerned and holds your hand, seeming to realize he should play along. "i didn't wait long at all, pretty."

you smile up at him, eternally grateful. you think to yourself that you owe him severely if you ever meet again.

"do you want something to drink?" he asks, seeming to really get into the boyfriend role. still holding your hand tightly, he steps back and gestures to the fridge area for you to pick.

"you don't have to do that, babe," you say, blushing a bit.

"no, no, go ahead. you should really drink something," he insists. "you've been walking for a while, you must be thirsty."

you tilt your head, not sure if he's serious or just playing the role well. he nods his head. you pick out a drink you like and he takes it from your hand and picks out his own drink as well. he walks towards the front of the store still holding your hand.

he looks back at the man who was following you to find him already staring, but he doesn't make any move to come closer to the two of you.

after the nice guy checks out, you both walk out of the store.

"would you like me to walk you home?" he asks. "just to be safe."

you contemplate for a moment before nodding. "i live near here, so it's not that far of a walk. thank you so much for this- and the drink, too."

you both begin to walk in the direction of your house, still hand-in-hand.

"of course," he smiles sweetly. "i hate how careful ladies have to be walking around nowadays... it's crazy that something bad could happen to you even in your own neighborhood."

you huff. "tell me about it. i've only been followed like this a few times, but i hear it happens to a lot of girls my age."

he sighs. "it's ridiculous. oh, i'm jo, by the way."

you smile up at him. "i like that name. i'm ____."

"pretty name for a pretty girl," he cheeses.

you cringe, giggling. "thanks for the compliment, but that was so corny."

he laughs. "i know- i realized after i said it."

you talk and laugh the whole way home, up until you get to your house. you didn't even mean to let him walk you the whole way home, you would've stopped him at the start of your street, but you kind of lost track, being so distracted.

"well, this is it." you turn towards him, finally letting go of his hand. "again, thank you so much. i don't know what i would have done if you hadn't helped me."

he smiles shyly, his face flushed. "no problem. could i maybe get your number? you can text or call me next time something like this happens. i live just down the street, so i'll come running."

you blush, taking his phone to add yourself as a contact. "you're really cute. maybe we could just hang out sometime, no creepy man involved?"

he chuckles. "yeah- that'd be nice."

you say your goodbyes. he watches until you get to your door to make sure you make it inside okay before you see him leave through your window.

you blush as you think of the whole interaction again.

though jo doesn't say much, you've never felt as if he didn't love you. he does everything to let you know he loves you and that you're appreciated.

seeing as you're always on his mind, it's hard for him to not bring you back something whenever he goes out

*sees something you might like* "i should get this for y/n..."

everything this always y/n, y/n, y/n. members are TIREDDD of hearing it honestly... but they love you and they love seeing jo happy.

he always makes sure you eat, no mater where he is how far he is from you he will not rest unless you have eaten. if your time zones are veryy different he'll wake up in the middle of the night just to ask you if you've eaten.

and every time you say "no" magically someones calling your number saying your already paid food is outside..🧍‍♀️

when he comes home with you already asleep, he joins you in the bed and always lays on the side that you're facing, he likes to see you peacefully sleeping and he simply just likes cuddling that way (as said in this post from twt)

when he has time, he makes simple crafts and give them to you, sometimes you even do it together:] like when he made a craft that looked like digital camera and when you opened it, had all of your polaroid pictures you've collected over the years (it looks like this)

lastly, he makes songs about you!! >.< he's written about 1,000 songs about you collected along with the ones he made predebut. he'll never tell anyone else but he finds writing songs about you very easy, he also likes it better than actually saying it.

as his introverted self he doesn't like talking much so, he puts his words into songs and sing them to you. ♡︎

Hm. Jo is not that talkative... But he gave me an answer that I'm able to work with.

So his ideal type would also be one of his friends. He falls in love with people that he already knows and trusts

His ideal partner would do everything with him. Shopping, going to a museum, riding a roller coaster. Everything

He would like to have this feeling of home when he is with his partner. He wants to feel comfortable with them and he would like to enjoy his time with them even if he doesn't show his love

I think he can't really show his feelings that well and would just like to show his love through time that he spends with his partner...
