Follow-up to Early Bird N'Doul

Holly would absolutely take in this tiny crime boi once this whole fiasco is over and the kids are safe again

N'Doul absolutely does not trust Holly, he loves his friends and would die for them but adults are bad!!!It's some sort of trick, no adult would be this nice without wanting something from him! (Even if he's happy to live with Jotaro)

But Holly is so patient. She gives him space and figures out his favourite foods to cook for him and always tries to be there when he needs help. She doesn't get mad when he uses Geb to scare some mean local kids away or comes back with like 20 different wallets he stole out of habit (although she does make him hand them over to the police station)

He keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop. Surely Holly will realise she made a mistake and will send him back, when he goes too far misbehaving or if he doesn't perform up to standard in this new school he got enrolled in. Jotaro is confused about N'Doul's hostility towards his mom and they have a big argument which Holly walks in on and hears everything and oh he's screwed up now, surely she won't want him anymore.

But nothing happens. She calms the boys down and takes N'Doul aside to talk to him, and he finally opens up about everything, and as she explains and reassures him he slowly realises she genuinely cares so much and it hurts so bad, is this what having a mom feels like? He wants to cry but he hasn't cried since he was five and he doesn't want to start again. He still doesn't know how to accept her love but he isn't as afraid of being abandoned as he was anymore.

Also both he and Jotaro felt so bad for yelling at each other that they apologised barely 5 minutes after the fight.

Holly is the BEST mom, you can't convince me otherwise. She doesn't hesitate to make sure N'doul has all the accommodations he needs to live comfortably in their house and does what she can to give him the most independence possible while still caring for him. She even gives him a small water pouch he can easily carry around so he'll always have access to Geb

when all the miscommunications are cleared up and N'doul finally starts relaxing in his new life, he's ridiculously protective of his new little siblings. He's the oldest and a teenager, therefore he needs to protect them. It does offer some comfort to them that they have another line of protection should anyone try to take them away again, especially with Jotaro

Jotaro really started off an only child and then gained Three(3) older siblings in one fell swoop didn't he-
