you and jiwoong met in university, you both studied the same major and quickly became friends. you often hung out with each other which caused the two of you to have a strong bond despite knowing one another for only a few years.

it would be a lie to say that jiwoong hasn't made you feel anything towards him in those few years. he was an attractive man with a great personality which honestly checked all the boxes. he always put you first and made sure you were okay and comfortable in any situation he could. he truly was all you could ever ask for and more.

so this year you decided to do something about your feelings for him.

you had the perfect plan. both of you decided to spend christmas together at your apartment so you made sure to buy a hefty supply of mistletoe and try to stand under it with him.

you ordered the mistletoe and carefully planted it at practically every doorway of your apartment before he arrived at your place.

you managed to set up a gorgeous dinner for the both of you in your small cosy apartment, candlelight beings the only source of light along with your fairy lights and the set table on which stood a beautiful bouquet, and you hoped that he would appreciate what you have organized. you got ready and perfected the flowers on the table.

just as you were away to reach for the mulled wine which just finished heating on the stove you heard a knock.

"come in!" you shouted from the kitchen. you heard the door open and soon jiwoong walked into your kitchen in a white dress shirt and black slacks, a matching blazer hung from his shoulder. in his hands a small gift bag which he left under the tree next to your gift for him before walking over to you.

you felt the butterflies in your stomach as you turned off the stove and embraced him.

"merry christmas ji," you said into the embrace

"same to you y/n. you look amazing," he unwrapped himself from you and moved to help you with the wine claiming he doesn't want you to burn yourself while handling the hot beverage.

after pouring the wine into glasses he picked them up, headed over to the table and placed them down.

"sit, i'll get the food" he said with a warm smile and moved to pull out your seat.

"no, it's okay. you're my guest, i should be serving you, not the other way around." you waved your hands frantically but he just walked towards you with a smile.

"you’re so cute” he whispered under his breath “let's go together then, yeah?" he said and grabbed your hand in his. it was soft and warm and embraced your own so perfectly.

you were too occupied with the feeling of his hand in yours that you forgot to mention the small sprig of mistletoe above the kitchen door. he grabbed some of the food that was layed out on the counter while you took what was left back to the table.

the two of you sat down and started to eat.

"this tastes increduble y/n" he said as he took a bite of the food you prepared.

"thank you ji," you felt yourself blush slightly and were thankful for the the limited light that was iluminating your face.

“you know” he started “ i think we should get to the gifts soon. i cant wait for you to see what i got you” he smiled and took another bite of food.

“i think so too” you said and took a sip of the warm wine.

you both finished off the rest of the food and after some other conversations and laughter jiwoong got up to use the bathroom.

“i’ll be back in one second, go wait by the tree” he said softly. you nodded and went over to the sofa before you remembered that’s you had a few christmas snacks and cookies ready for later on (now) so you left the glasses of wine on the coffee table and got up to go to the kitchen.

just as you stepped foot in the kitchen and started picking out the snacks jiwoong left the bathroom. he saw that the dishes were still left out on the table and decided to take them in for you. so, being the amazing person he is, he grabbed the dishes and headed towards the kitchen.

as you were leaving the kitchen, arms full of snacks, jiwoong was walking in with the dishes from the table. you bumped into him seeing as you didn’t notice him due to your full arms.

“i’m so sorry! i didn’t see you” you said quickly. you notice a bit of icing that was left on his shirt from one of the cookies you were taking through. “oh no your shirt! wait here” you ran back to the kitchen and left the snacks on the counter. you grab a cloth and wet it under the tap before rushing back over to jiwoong. you take the dishes from him and put them on the counter. “i’m sorry ji i didn’t mean to ruin your shirt” you say as you start wiping at the bright green stain.

“hey it’s okay” he said and grabbed your wrist. you looked up at him and started into his shining eyes. he looked back into your eyes before his eyes flickered to your lips. before you could say anything he looked up, you followed after him and saw the small sprig of mistletoe you planted on the doorway hours prior.

“jiwoong..” as you looked back down you noticed he was already staring at you. “i- we don’t have t-“ you were cut off by him pressing his lips against yours so softly you thought you were imagining it and yet you pressed your lips back to his just seconds later with so much force and passion all he could do was wrap one arm around your waist and bring his hand to cup your face. it was as if time had stopped and sped up at the same time. you wanted to stay in this moment forever and yet you both pulled away breathless and with glossy lips.

“i guess my gift to you was pointless” he says. you give him a confused look before he laughs and pulls you over to the christmas tree. he picks up the small gift bag and pulls out a small sprig of mistletoe while looking at you with a wide smile.

“you are such a dork” you said with a laugh while taking the mistletoe from him.

“yeah but i’m your dork” he said “if you’ll have me of course”

“hmm” you pretend to think before holding the mistletoe above the two of you. “i will” you said and pulled him into another kiss which had both of you smiling into it. you were sure that mistletoe will become a new, meaningful tradition for the both of you.

what i mean is jiwoong is the perfect surface to lay on

i think he’s the type of guy to enjoy cuddling but he also doesn’t like need to be cuddling you at all times during your downtime

like it’s not a need yk

and he won’t ask to cuddle (so if you want to and he’s not thinking about it you’re gonna have to ask)

but he’s the type of guy to like … yawn as an excuse to put his arm around you LOL

jiwoong’s ideal cuddling spot is on the couch while you watch tv/a movie

he appreciates it when you lay on him. you’re like his personal and unique weighted blanket

he’ll be sprawled out on the couch and you’ll be on top of him, head on his chest

he will put his arms around your waist and will intermittently poke your sides like he’s checking to make sure you’re real

if you lay there for too long he will kick you off when he feels his arms starting to go numb lol

at night, i don’t think he’s the guy to full on cuddle

i think maybe he’ll put an arm on your waist but that’s it

hao is a princess and he likes to sit on your lap

i won’t let anybody tell me otherwise he will actively just sit on you

doesn’t matter what you’re doing or where you are he will just sit on you

it’s kinda like the opposite of jiwoong … hao loves to lay on you except he’s (most likely) taller than you so it’s awkward

sometimes you’ll be napping and he’ll scare you awake by literally collapsing on you

he likes cuddles a lot though so that’s not all he’s doing

i said this in another set of hcs i did but i think hao likes being the little spoon

again he’s a princess

but also i think he just likes the feeling? like he feels comforted in your embrace so he wants you to just hug him all the time

he also strikes me as the type of person who gets cold easily so it warms him up too

on rare occasions, he will be the big spoon but it’s usually when you’re feeling bad and it’s making him sad

hao’s ideal cuddling spot is anywhere but he does like the bed a bit more

cuddling with him is also very quiet and relaxing

there are a lot of kisses on the cheek, forehead, pretty much everywhere

overall very soft and fun time !! it’s very intimate and cute

hanbin is sooo clingy

has to have a hand on you at all times so cuddling is regular

like hao, he will cuddle up to you anywhere at any time, it doesn’t matter if you’re alone or literally all of the boys are there

he’ll sit on your lap but also enjoys it when you sit on his

big spoon, little spoon, it doesn’t matter he is LOVING IT!!!

but i think hanbin prefers cuddling on the couch most

idk if anyone else thinks this but he’s so christmas-coded in my brain, so his ideal is sitting on the couch with the fireplace on and just enjoying each other’s company

he likes laying his head in your lap a lot, especially when you’re talking about your days together

because he can see every single move and every expression you make, so he can easily gauge whether you’re talking about something negative or positive

he will switch with you when you’re done talking, so your head will be on his lap as he tells you about everything you did that day

and he’ll play with your hair while he talks it’s very sweet

hanbin is also the type of guy to cuddle with you while you’re sleeping at night

matthew falls asleep every time you cuddle

it’s so bad

you’ll literally just be leaning on him while you sit on the couch, you’ll look up at him, and he’ll be fast asleep

as a result cuddling with matthew can be very uncomfortable because he’s just like asleep on you

i think his favorite thing to do his like … how do i explain this … i couldn’t figure it out so here’s a link to renjun and chenle doing what i'm thinking of

it’s the easiest way for him to conk out and also not cause you to get the worst cramp of your life in your leg

in the rare moments you fall asleep on him it makes him giggle so much that he wakes you up

your leg is on top of his and he’s got an arm like laying over your face and you’ve got an arm over his waist

you feel kinda sweaty and gross too but taerae looks really cute so it’s okay

i also think taerae likes to cuddle when he’s not having the greatest day

probably stares into your soul like sooo when are we kissing… he’s pretty casual about it, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and smiling softly, waiting for you to give him the green light. when you do kiss though he’s super giggly and he will be clingy for the rest of the evening.

he is so nonchalant about it. will tease you about how you planned all this just because you were dying to kiss him so bad (he is just trying to take your attention away from his red ears). when your hands cup his face he immediately freezes though, his eyes not being able to leave your lips as you lean in.

gyuvin is literally the O_O emoji. his big round eyes telling you everything about the chaos that is going on in his mind at that moment. oh if you want to make him melt, grab him by the collar of his shirt to make him duck down to your height and kiss his nose. there you have him wrapped around your finger and 3 seconds won't even pass before he picks you up to kiss you properly.

gunwook is ready to risk it all to be honest. probably chuckles a little, dropping a flirty comment or two to test the mood before he casually pecks the top of your head. you wrap your arms around his neck and he thinks that you are just going in for a hug so when you softly peck his mouth, his cheeks turn a bright shade of red.

glares at whoever pushed him towards you, hands reaching for a chip in the bag he was eating, followed by a deep sigh. you immediately take the opportunity to tease yujin, poking his rosy cheeks with your finger before you get cut off by him shoving a chip into your mouth. you two will end up making fun of each other during the entire party, while fully aware that your friendship took quite a different turn that night.

valentine’s day with zerobaseone

gn reader, established relationship, fluff !! mentions of food, not proofread

jiwoong

- even after having been in a relationship with jiwoong for some time now, you still kick your feet and get all excited when you receive your yearly valentine’s surprise from him

- sends a box of chocolates and a bouquet of blue roses to your workplace in the middle of the day with a love letter in it (probably some cheesy love poem he racked his brain to come up with and feels very proud of)

- it will probably be something like “roses are red. my face is too. that only happens when i’m around you” written with crayons and decorated with silly childish stickers and doodles ,and you had to resist letting out the loudest laugh ever at that since you were still at work

other members under the cut!

zhanghao

- sorry but YOU have to ask him to be your valentine, not the other way around and you have to do it fast before anyone else (hanbin) snatches him away from you

- no but seriously he would’ve cleared out his entire schedule for that day just to spend it all with you going out just idk eating at some cute but overpriced café (don’t worry, he pays), shopping and just gossiping over some coffee

- ends the day with a night stroll at a park with your hands intertwined and swinging by your sides maybe feed some ducks you saw while chatting the night away and just giggling to each other about something silly. it was simple but meant so much to the both of you

hanbin

- this is so serious for him like no one takes valentine’s day as serious as him so he makes sure to give you princess treatment throughout the whole day

- you wake up to the sound of a grizzling pan and smelling the aroma of the breakfast he’s preparing for you and damn this man CAN cook. serves you a five course meal at 8 am in the morning with like heart-shaped pancakes and eggs like this man is not real (sorry i just love domestic hanbin)

- after breakfast, you two return to bed since you were still feeling sleepy. he cuddles you to sleep, your head buried in his chest and literally clinging onto him, him with his arms tightly wrapped around you in a comforting embrace, gently patting you to sleep as he leaves small pecks all around your face and he probably has even more stuff planned later in the day

matthew

- matthew biggest green flag. spent so long planning the perfect valentine’s date for you and surprised you with a romantic picnic at the beach. he even sets up a table and chairs for the both of you, made sure all the food was perfect

- i can envision him covering your eyes during the walk from the car to the beach then surprising you. pulls out your chair for you and pushes your hair behind your ear and when you ask why he’ll say, “just wanted to take a better look at your pretty face”

- makes you giggles at his jokes the whole time and at last, gives you a final surprise which was an adorable cake with ‘happy valentine’s day’ written on it with icing that he spent the majority of yesterday making for you (u have no idea how many times he had to redo it)

taerae

- he serenades you. that would be the most taerae thing to do like seriously. he would start planning since christmas, writing a whole love song for you, him writing and composing it for you all by himself

- he would be so nervous when the day arrives. he would take you out to a nice restaurant, surprising you with flowers and all, then when the both of you return home, he sits you down on the couch and takes out his guitar

- starts strumming and you’re like, “i don’t recognise this song?” and realises that he wrote it and it took everything in you to not start crying on the spot. serenades you with his honey-like sweet voice while looking into your eyes like a lovesick man, literally making heart eyes at you and smiling like an idiot

ricky

- sends you a text in the morning which reads, “morning, baby. happy valentine’s day. i reserved a table at xxx restaurant for us at 6 pm. i’ll pick you up at 5:30 pm. i love you.”

- the moment you receive that text you start giggling and kicking your feet while burying your face into your pillow, only ricky can make you feel this way.

- you dress up for him and the moment you see him, he’s leaning against his car in a button up with the first few buttons unbuttoned and a huge bouquet of flowers. holds your hand the whole time, during the ride and dinner, listens intently to all of your rambling during the whole of dinner and also pays !!! (bc he’s young and rich)

gyuvin

- rings your doorbell enthusiastically with flowers and gifts dressed in his best attire, fixing his hair every few seconds to make sure he looks perfect for you. shyly hands you the bouquet he arranged himself when you open the door

- he would drag you to a dog café for your date and he’s most likely even more excited about this than you, just looking at the bright grin on his face and the giggles he lets out while he plays with the puppies makes a smile appear on your face too

- would probably point at every dog and says it looks like you because it’s cute just like you. no but imagine you guys sharing a pasta together and accidentally recreating the lady and tramp scene omg

gunwook

- bowling date with gunwook omg okay his jaw will literally drop the moment he sees you arrive all dressed up like he thinks you’re drop dead gorgeous and won’t stop giggling and blushing every time he glances at you

- pays for everything and takes the chance to show up his skills in bowling. coolest guy ever just the way he confidently strikes the bowling pins with the bowling ball but gets so shy and blush when you cheer for him and compliment him

- and when you’re getting food together at a restaurant, he would not stop staring at you. his head propped up on his hand as he stares at you hopelessly, utterly lost in your eyes and down bad. type to wipe your mouth for you when you have something in the corner of your lips.

yujin

- your first valentine’s day together so he would be so anxious about it and shy. he would make sure everything goes smoothly and plans it all out like buying tickets to that movie you said you wanted to watch in advance and making reservations for a restaurant you mentioned you wanted to visit before (most likely the first time he ever made a reservation by himself in his lifetime)

jiwoong ;

"and this here is one of our specialties," the vineyard tour guide explained as he poured samples for both you and your boyfriend jiwoong. "it's a dry cider, so it's got a bit more of a refreshing taste, much more similar to an apple wine."

jiwoong swirled the cider in his glass for a moment before taking a sip, a pleasant expression crossing his face at the taste, urging you to try it as well. as the drink passed your lips, you couldn't help the sour expression as the bitter liquid hit your tongue. "not a fan?" jiwoong giggled at your childish palate, and you only shook your head.

"you like that?" you say in disbelief, "i feel like it's not as sweet." you pouted slightly, missing the previous sweet cider you had tried that was right up your alley. he couldn't help but smile and ruffle your hair. "i'll get you some of the sweet cider before we leave, yeah?" a smile spread across your face as you nodded.

you turned to the tour guide once again, "what's next?" the man chuckled at your eagerness to move on, watching jiwoong down the rest of his drink before moving on. the guide started to explain the next drink, describing it as a middle ground between the sweet and the dry ciders, and you found yourself being pleasantly surprised by the drink.

soon enough the two of you were walking out of the vineyard hand in hand, jiwoong laughing once again over your reaction to the more bitter drink. "listen okay, i just like sweet things." you jokingly huffed. "that's why you like me, right?" jiwoong smirked, earning a smack on the arm from you followed by a laugh, "yeah yeah, that's why i like you and the bottle of cider in the bag."

zhang hao ;

you don't remember choosing such a gory film for your movie night with your boyfriend hao. sure, you wanted something scary, even if both of you weren't the greatest with jumpscares, but it was that time of year. the leaves had started changing and so in your mind, it was halloween, and your movie choices had to reflect that.

that being said, not even 30 minutes into the movie and you had given up, opting to bury your head in your boyfriend's neck as he barely peaked through his fingers to see the screen. you tried to tune out the shrieks blaring through the speakers, focusing on the scent of your boyfriend's cologne, or the feeling of the new sweater he had just bought. but it was no use.

"i know i picked the movie but, can we please change it," you pouted, remote in hand. "don't have to tell me twice." hao chuckled, finally at ease now that the movie was paused. you scrolled through the selection of movies for a bit before settling on a fan favourite.

"the nightmare before christmas?" hao questioned, letting out a smile, "much better."you smiled back, finally getting comfy as you laid your head on his shoulder, readjusting the blanket that covered your legs. "i thought so too."

hao placed a small kiss on your temple as the movie started, letting his hand grab ahold of yours as the familiar tune of "this is halloween" played through the speakers, a much better alternative to the earlier screams.

truthfully, you didn't last long through the movie. the combination of the warmth radiating from your boyfriend as well as the cozy blanket covering you had knocked you out before the credits rolled, but you wouldn't have it any other way.

hanbin ;

"sung hanbin, where are you taking us?" you chuckled, eyes trained on the orange and red leaves surrounding you as you made your way further into the countryside. he only smiled, turning down the music on the radio before grabbing your hand as he kept his eyes on the road, "you'll see."

you simply shook your head at the vague nature of his response and looked back at the passing trees, humming along to the quiet radio. as curious as you were, you honestly wouldn't mind if hanbin had driven you around in circles, as long as you got to spend this time with him.

soon enough you had driven into a small town seemingly in the middle of a forest. the trees that surrounded the road had been cleared out and replaced with small business-lined streets and people walking their dogs in the chilly autumn weather. you couldn't help the questioning look on your face as he pulled into the parking lot of a small hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. "welcome, y/n" he smiled, opening the door for you, "to my very first barista job."

a smile quickly spread across your face as you connected the details of the small shop that you had heard about through hanbin's reminiscent stories. the small dent in the wall from where he had accidentally hit the wall with a piece of equipment he was moving, or the dusty chalkboard that he would get to draw the specials on every day. this was like a second home to the boy, and you could see why. the cozy atmosphere was more welcoming than you had expected.

"hanbin!" an older woman behind the counter called out, catching the attention of both of you as a wide smile spread across hanbin's face. "hi mrs. lee!" the older woman, who you now learned was the infamous mrs. lee, smiled at the two of you, "and who's this?" she inquired, "oh hi mrs. lee! i'm y/n" hanbin took your hand in his, "this is my lovely partner, i thought i'd show them my second home."

"well it's a pleasure to finally meet the person hanbin's been talking so kindly about." you smirked, turning to your now blushing boyfriend. "mrs. lee~" he playfully whined. "you talk about me?" a hint of curiosity laced your voice. he sighed, squeezing your hand, "can you blame me?"

matthew ;

"matthew?" you called out, faced with rows upon rows of fruit-bearing trees and no boyfriend to be seen. "matthew~" you dragged his name out, "where are you?" but alas, no response.

after a few moments of silence, you feel something hit your foot, glancing down you see that an apple had rolled and hit you. you chuckled as you picked up the fruit, your line of sight raising as you look down the row of trees to see your boyfriend standing there, holding in a laugh. "strike!" he yelled, jogging over to you with a basket full of bright red apples.

"you know i was almost worried about you for a second there." you playfully hit his arm, "you just disappeared." he let a sheepish smile pull across his face, "sorry 'bout that," he grabbed your hand with his free hand, leading you two down the path, "but what really could've happened, death by apples?" he chuckled, shaking his head.

"listen," you started, mindlessly swinging your interlocked hands, "i've seen the wizard of oz, apple trees can be brutal." you were stopped in your tracks as matthew planted his feet in one spot, pulling you in close. "well i'm right here my angel," he placed a kiss on your lips, a smile spreading across his lips in the process before pulling away, "and it's gonna take a lot more than a sentient apple tree to take me away from you."

you chuckled at the seriousness behind the rather silly sentence, "that's gotta be the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me, matthew." you let a chuckle escape your lips as you continued walking. "well you know," matthew let out a laugh of his own, "i'm quite the romantic."

taerae ;

bonfires were perfect this time of year, at least to you. the bright flame complimented the changing leaves so well, not to mention how nice the warmth was in the chilly fall nights. so you couldn't think of a better way to spend your evening than you were right now. you and your boyfriend taerae sat in chairs by the fire.

the two of you could talk for hours if given the chance, whether about something at work or a fond memory or really whatever came to mind. the conversations never seemed to lull. and right now, the topic of conversation was a song taerae had been working on that seemed to be stressing him out.

"can i hear what you have done?" you asked, smiling at the opportunity to hear your boyfriend's sweet voice. he nodded shyly, running inside to grab his guitar from the living room. after a few moments he had returned, guitar in one hand and a blanket in the other, handing the latter to you. "it's getting chilly," he smiled before sitting down and getting situated.

as he started strumming the first few chords, you found yourself swaying to the melody as he hummed the missing lyrics that had yet to be written. even in moments like this he still managed to sound angelic, and you found yourself getting lost in thought, wondering how you got so lucky.

"so that's all i've got," he let out a heavy sigh as he shook his head, putting the guitar down beside him. "all you've got?" you exclaimed, "taerae, you don't give yourself enough credit my. love."

he couldn't help but blush at the compliment, his hand quickly waving it off, "you're too kind, my dear. thank you"

ricky ;

after what felt like an eon of begging, you had finally convinced your boyfriend ricky to throw his ego to the side and come pick out a halloween costume with you. and you would be damned if you let this opportunity go to waste.

that is how the two of you ended up in the back of a spirit halloween, back to begging for your boyfriend to come out of the changing room. "it can't be that bad ricky, c'mon." you exclaimed, looking down at your outfit, the cop to his robber costume, though you hadn't seen his part yet as he paced in the closed off room.

"fine," he sighed, slowly opening the door, revealing his large frame covered in black and white stripes with a mask covering his eyes, looking like the robbers straight out of the sims 3. you stifled a laugh as you glanced over his figure. "my little criminal," you cooed, getting a scoff in return. "how is it fair that you look nice and i look like this." he let out a dry laugh at the situation.

"let's try the other one then!" you smiled, turning back to your changing room where one other costume stayed hung up. you couldn't help but smile as you looked at the bright pink outfit adorning your body in the mirror.

this time, you didn't have to beg ricky to reveal the outfit, finding him adjusting the shirt in the mirror outside the fitting rooms. "hey ken~" you dragged out, watching his face light up as he turned around at the sound of your voice. "hi barbie," he smiled, grabbing your hand to pull you in, standing next to him in front of the mirror.

"i think these are the ones." he exclaimed, and you couldn't help but nod in agreement, "the ken to my barbie."

gyuvin ;

if someone were to hear the situation going down between you and gyuvin right now, you were sure they'd assume someone was being killed, and in a way someone was, or rather something. two poor pumpkins sat on the table next to a bowl full of their insides, which gyuvin had now decided to grab a handful of.

"DON'T YOU DARE GYUVIN!" you shrieked, running around to the other side of the table, away from your boyfriend's pumpkin gut covered hands. "c'mon give me a hug!" he smiled, almost menacingly as he outstretched his hands to reach you from across the table, only narrowly missing you.

"keep you and your gross hands away from me," you laughed, though only half joking, "i don't want to smell like pumpkin for the rest of the year thank you." he only laughed as he placed the pumpkin bits back into the bowl on the table, sitting down to return to carving eumppappa's face into the pumpkin.

in a false sense of security you sat back down next to the boy, hopeful that you'd be able to finish your pumpkin in peace. but there was no such thing as peace with your boyfriend. in your focus on the carving in front of you, you failed to notice the way your boyfriend had gone eerily quiet, until you felt something be placed on your head. "a hat." gyuvin said simply, grinning ear to ear, hands covered in the contents of the bowl.

"kim gyuvin, you didn't" you carefully turned your head, trying not to knock off this new "hat" he had given you. he tried to keep a straight face at your cautious actions, "but i did." a laugh escaped his mouth as he picked up the pumpkin off of your head and putting it back in the bowl. "oh it's on." you mumbled, grabbing a handful yourself and mirroring his earlier actions, plopping it atop his head. and just like that, the night-long pumpkin war had begun.

gunwook ;

"y/n," gunwook smiled, tugging on your hand like a little kid, "let's go ride the ferris wheel!" you chuckled as you jogged to keep up with your boyfriend gunwook and his long legs. you two had spent all day running around the fair, trying new foods and petting cute animals, not to mention riding every ride you could imagine. but now the sun was setting and you were both winding down, so the ferris wheel sounded perfect right about now.

after waiting for a few minutes in line, you and gunwook finally got a seat in a bright purple basket. "i've had a really good day," gunwook smiled, grabbing your hand from across the basket. you took your eyes off the surrounding area, looking at your grinning boyfriend, mirroring a similar expression. "i did too wook, even if you totally cheated in the corn maze."

he shook his head, a laugh escaping his lips. "it's not my fault the corn was shorter than me! and besides," he paused, looking at you, "if i didn't, we never would've gotten out of there." he wasn't wrong. with your sense of direction, you would've been walking in circles for hours. "that's true," a comfortable silence came over you as you both admired the view below you.

"y/n look!" you turned back to the boy, a confused look on your face as you waited for him to continue. "we are stopped at the top!" both of you smiled from ear to ear, you had both hoped to get to stop at the top, but knew the chances were slim. yet here you were.

"aren't we lucky?" you exclaimed, taking in the setting sun and the way it lit up your boyfriend's skin. it only took a moment for gunwook to feel your eyes on him as he turned to you, a shy smile across his face before he leaned over, placing a soft kiss on your lips, keeping your faces close enough for you to hear his whisper.

"i really am lucky."

yujin ;

you and yujin weren't exactly the bravest people in the world, both having to be convinced to go to this haunted house in the first place. "it's fine guys, we will all be there together!" your friends had convinced you. you had almost thought for a moment that it wouldn't be so bad, that was until it was just you and yujin walking through the dark halls of this building.

you weren't sure how, but somehow early on, you and yujin had gotten separated from the rest of your friend group, and had been left to fend for yourselves. your false sense of hope quickly diminished as you heard the screams of other people up ahead.

"it;s fine yujinnie, we will just keep our heads down and blast through this, no big deal." you said, trying to convince yourself more so than him. "yeah, no big deal." he repeated, letting out a pathetic laugh as his eyes lowered to the ground in front of him. the plan was working until one of the "ghosts" had silently walked beside you, sticking their face in your line of sight. sure, you knew it was just makeup and prosthetics, but that didn't stop a scream from ripping from your throat and your hand instinctively grabbing yujin's.

yujin froze at the action, though you assumed it was just from the ghost appearing. what you didn't know was that your action had become the perfect distraction for yujin. no longer could he think about the creepy atmosphere or hear the screams of other people, his brain too focused on the feeling of your hand in his and the fact that at some point, you'd have to let go.

soon enough, like the light at the end of the tunnel, you both had found the exit, picking up your speed as you jogged to the glowing sign, dragging yujin along, hand in hand. once you had escaped the haunted house, you turned to the boy, wrapping him in a tight hug, "we did it!" you cheered, the boy joining you in the cheers.

"you made it!" your moment was interrupted by your friend's remark. "yeah and to no help of you," you joked, grabbing yujin's hand in yours again, "you can all thank yujin for letting me get out in one piece honestly." the statement caused the boy to flush a deep red, so much so that he didn't notice the way your cheeks mirrored his. maybe tonight hadn't been so bad.

the bell rings meaning you have to go back to your seat and gunwook looks at his watch.

you nod back with a smile going back to your seat whilst inhee runs through your homeroom door slamming it against the wall.
