I have drawn...everything I have for this rewrite! Well...almost everything. I'm just gonna list everything I have here.
The toons don't come out to the real world at any point, at least as they do in the original, they stay in the mind and have to takeover Jimmy's body to interact with the world. This is purely a drawing thing. Robin and Craig are no longer siblings, and they switched races inbetween the TV movie and live-action series, so I went down the middle with Robin being African American and Craig being Asian. Robin is a psychic. Craig is now the one who has a bunch of weird pets and is a Friend to All Living Thing. Yancy is still an alien, but changed up her look and personality. Ken, Jimmy's dad, is no longer a bumbling idiot and neglectful father, and is now a local stuntman who deeply cares about his kids no matter how weird they are. And Jimmy's mom is now named Aloe Vera, is a goddess of healing, and protector of the town where they, and people like them, live.
I promise I'll never do something like this again, this took way too long to make and now I'm tired.

I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE
Crescent Theatre, Birmingham, Saturday 17th August, 2022
Less of a musical and more of a revue, this show which has enjoyed one of the longest runs in American theatre history, charts, through unconnected scenes, songs and vignettes, the course of love (true, or otherwise) of heterosexual people. When theatre holds up a mirror to life, it either validates…
I have once again did something insane, making a concept for a rewrite for Out of Jimmy's Head. I say concept because I'm not willing to commit to it just yet. This is part of Project Rewrite, along with The Christmas Light/Brigade and some other things, and I want to focus on the Christmas elves before the toons lol. Of course, I made three major changes to this rewrite. I made others, but these are important.
1. Getting rid of that stupid fucking brain transplant bullshit that makes absolutely no sense, like...personality and memory glands?? I'm pretty sure those don't exist but anyway...I replaced it with the toons getting injected into his head in an electrifying...and painful way.
2. Golly has been hit with Adaptational Kindness, Tux with Adaptational Intelligence (and no longer makes bad jokes), and minor changes to Dolly and Croco (and made Croco a dragon because why not). Also still figuring out how to give Jimmy a personality.
And 3. Got rid of Pickle and Prickles because they're nothing Tom and Jerry expies. Replaced them with two new characters, Scooter, the character who took Golly previous jerkass personality and is a parody of 90s radicalness, and Panther Rose, a Puss in Boots expy (admittedly ironic, but Puss in Boots is better than Tom and Jerry).
God, this is long. Sorry about that, just love talking about my projects :3
