Omg someone just said jungkook wrote magic shop after their Disneyland trip/Tokyo (2018) where they visited a shop in Disneyland called Magic Shop this is too much.😭😭

Lmaooo the URGE to break out a huge breakdown essay like post over this topic.

But honestly, instead, I'm going to send you over to @jiminieloved because they have a post that did this and while some minor points here or there I might have a slightly differing opinion on, I agree with their thoughts like 98% and LOVED the post when I read it. And they did so much! A wonderful post (no surprise. Their account here is one of my favs, hope you dont mind me linking to your post)

It's all only theory, but it's a good one! Lol Also worth adding that since they made this post, we have gotten more info from the BTS book about the Toyko trip. Where it just further supports everything that was said in this post and by many other jkkrs. And gives so much more weight to lyric choices such as "I'll be there for you.... but you gotta be there for me too." And such as "so show me... I'll show you" if nothing else the way Jikook always just show up for each other and support each other is above and beyond and so special

Jungkook objectively IS the best singer in the group though so anon thinking anyone would trip over someone saying it is weird he's not even my number one favorite and I'm not gon try to argue about it.

Jeon Jungkook is in the Guiness book of world records with a bunch of other singers as one of the people with perfect pitch. And his vibrato is killer 👆🏽 gives me goosebumps.

However

In my humble opinion I will once again reiterate; the best singer when it comes to Jikook, depends on an individual. Let's leave it at that.

Jikook and 5th Muster

Jimin and Jungkook tend to orbit each other’s galaxies during concerts. Often with meaningful touches, heartfelt words and gentle looks. Something which is ever present in 5th Muster Magic Shop from 2019.

With the 5th Muster opening up in Busan on 15th June, it was rather Jikook heavy and you could tell how happy they were in their hometown. Not only during the concert itself, but also in the DVD with the behinds. For Magic Shop, Jikook had a unit for a holographic photocard and a postcard. They were also quite heavily featured in the VCR, which had flirty tones and confirmed that Jimin was indeed the owner of the Magic Shop.

Jimin and Jungkook’s happiness could be seen starting from the opening introductions. With Jungkook saying he was the Prince of Busan and Jimin responding that he was the Prince of Busan’s older hyung. From there, Jikook sparkled as they sang Home and no concert is ever complete without one slapping the butt of the other. Sometimes it feels like they can’t help but touch each other. Either it be a hand to the waist of reassurance or a teasing poke.

As BTS sit down for their Teatime Talk, it’s hard to not notice Jikook’s body language. Jungkook sits down first and seems to encourage Jimin to sit down on his lap, when Jimin doesn’t Jungkook slaps his butt in response. Jimin eventually sits down and the two sit close enough to overlap each other. There is a lot of consistency within Jikook and how they behave and this is the same with their body language.

One moment that sparked a lot of confusion involved Jungkook wearing Jimin’s ring. Jungkook starts talking about “a ring on my hand” and Tae points out that he doesn’t have one. Jimin offers his and Jungkook puts it on his pinky finger, asking if we know what the function of the ring is. He does so whilst talking informally. Jungkook also states no-one can touch the ring without permission because it’s so special and he would explain more later. I remember not really understanding the significance of this at the time, until K-Army explained why they were so excited. Apparently if your ring fits on their pinky finger, you are each other's destiny. There were also debates as to which ring Jimin gave Jungkook.

Jikook has intense chemistry on stage. This is especially evident during their part in Best of Me shows their strengths of dancing together in sync, creating a powerful performance that matches how they are together with anything. They did make a mistake on the second day. Something which is rare, but they finished their part off perfectly.

Jungkook seemed extra endeared by Jimin’s new haircut at Busan, calling it cute and asking Jimin to make a cute pose. We know from the DVD behinds and from his vlive that Jimin felt unsure about his new hair, so I find it really sweet that Jungkook was praising and encouraging him. They couldn’t seem to get enough of each other during BWL either with the way they smiled and played with each other.

On the 22nd June, BTS continued their 5th Muster in Seoul. With Jikook being just as sweet as they were before. Whilst getting up to talk during Tea Time, Jungkook noticed that Jimin’s chair was unbalanced on stage. He quickly moved the chair in-time for Jimin to sit back down.

The day after during Tea Time, Jimin gets Jungkook’s attention as he and Taehyung dance to Euphoria. We know how much they visit each other's rehearsals, so this was extra sweet and Jungkook loved watching it.

For the first day in Seoul, it was like they were competing for the most amount of light pinches or punches.2b With Jimin starting it and Jungkook retaliating in fun. Then on the second day there were constant pokes or rubs, letting the other know that they were there and having fun.

They could not keep their hands off each other and continued their flirtiness, when Jungkook asks Jimin about a miraculous thing that happened his life.

Jimin and Jungkook tend to share TMI’s about each other without being asked and the same happens at Seoul. Jimin describes how Jungkook gets tempted by food. He also acts out how Jungkook plays games next to him, revealing that Jungkook talks to himself whilst complaining about the game not going well. They like sharing information or habits about each other with us and it’s sweet that they are super aware of each other's habits.

Jungkook again emphasised how cute Jimin was again in Seoul and continued giving him encouragement whilst performing or teasing him, With a thumbs up from day two.

Whenever Jimin is embarrassed he tends to look or go toward Jungkook, so i think he was extra aware to respond to this. In return, they often seek out each other if they are feeling low or need an extra boost.

During BWL on the second day this was also evident when Jimin got confused about his position and ended up running back, with Jungkook laughing widely at what happened.

In retaliation Jimin lightly punched him in the arm and Jungkook returned them shortly afterwards. They always have fun mid-performance.

During Magic Shop Jimin cutely stands behind Jungkook. They notice each other and Jungkook head tilts as Jimin walks away. They really do end up next to each other a lot and enjoy themselves together on stage.

Towards the end of the second night, we witnessed some extra soft Jikook. Jungkook is known for watching Jimin whilst he is talking during his endingment, either by moving his position or watching during the main screen. You can see this clearly from the second day Vlive broadcast, with Jungkook watching his every word and smiling.

Whilst bowing for their endingments on the first day, Jimin turned to Jungkook. Jungkook, noticing this, turned back towards him and touched his chin. This is another consistent habit that Jikook has for one another and you can see how much they adore each other from their eyes.

Once they finish their goodbyes, Jungkook walks away and Jimin follows. Jimin backhugs Jungkook as they walk away and they waddle together in sync.

On day two we had another sweet and unexpected moment as they finished talking. Jimin said “cheers to happier days in the future” before they bowed which made him laugh due to his own randomness. When they bowed a second time, Jungkook yelled the same, making Jimin fall to the floor in laughter. In a sweet gesture, army replied back. This is more evidence of how much they make each other laugh with happiness. As Jimin tries to get back using Jungkook’s arm for weight, they get very close together. Both with matching smil’es.

And in one of the muster ments jimin also says the song is for him, as well when jimin introduces magic shop (I can’t remember what is was in but it was 2018) he talks about how he worked really hard on recording it and how happy n endeared he seemed by jungkoom talking about the song and when jungkook said the song was army jimin was like ‘im army’ as well (seems like jm&jk refer to jm as army a lot) In a live jimin also talked about how jungkook writing the song was really touching for him.

I just think it’s so amazing n I love appreciating their bond outside of toxic factors

First things first, this is how your message came across, anon. Innocent, cute enthusiasm. I'm a bit surprised, it's been years since those things happened, like 2019, right?

I also got the feeling that you were trying to explain and give me the details so I could have this general idea in my head. I appreciate it, it's nice. But anon, I know the lore. I really do. Just because I hadn't talked about it before, doesn't mean I'm not up to date 😉

Anyway, Magic Shop. There's not much for me to tell or anything left to tell. Especially some years later because we're dealing with the risk of talking about a topic that has been exhausted.

I know the theories. I know Jimin calls himself Army and all that and I know it's sometimes extrapolated and gazes are being analysed. Ultimately, it's a really sweet thing, especially to see how much Jimin loves the song. What's important is that it has a significant meaning for both of them and I liked how they played into it for the fans but also for their own entertainment. We love to see that. It also gave us Jimin as the Magic Shop owner which was a sight to see and soon became a memorable character and muse for so many fanfic writers.

Songs that Remind me of Jikook Part 1

While we wait impatiently for the Jikook travel show, I thought it might be fun to share song recs that remind us of Jikook beyond the classics: There For You, all the other GCF songs, Own It, Body Electric, Serendipity, Magic Shop, Still With You, ect. You can use these songs to add to your playlist or when you listen to them, you can think of Jikook too! I have three recommendations in this post.

1. Agora Hills by Doja Cat.

I know Doja is controversial and so is her partner BUT this song bangs y’all. The beat is nasty and the lyrics are so so Jikook coded (to me). Screen shot of one of the most Jikook-esque parts of the song but honestly the verses fit so well too. We know how much Jungkook and Jimin love to brag on each other and gush over each other. And sometimes they even get a little wild *cough Rosebowl and hickey gate and footsies*

2. Call it What You Want by Taylor Swift

This song is the only one in Taylor’s discography that is extremely Jikook coded to me. I screenshotted my favorite part but again, the whole song screams Jikook to me. The “trust him like a brother” lyric feels like a dig to anyone who screams that Jikook are brothers as a form of coping with the fact that they definitely aren’t. And I love the whole concept of Call It What You Want being about speculation about a romantic relationship and the two lovers don’t care you can call their bond whatever you want but they will still love and support each other. If that’s not Jikook idk what is.

3. Coma by Caroline Polachek

Okay, hear me out with this one because if you haven’t heard of Caroline Polachek (she’s the least mainstream on this list) then I promise you are missing out. Caroline is amazing. Shes definitely experimental, so if that isn’t your thing then you probably won’t like this gorgeous 5 minute song, but I’m obsessed with it. Her voice is so ethereal, the instrumental is busy but addicting and the lyrics are simple but effective as hell. Overall, the song gives a wholesome lovey dovey vibe that truly feels like you are floating. It reminds me of Jikook because when I listen to this I imagine this is how they feel being with each other for so many years and truly “I am you, you are me”. If you give this one a chance and love it, let me know. I stan Caroline so hard and think everyone should experience her genius. Her whole album Desire, I Want To Turn Into You top to bottom is an art pop masterpiece.

God I can't really stand JK anymore.

Everything regarding him went a downhill since 2023. The way he behaved changed a lot.. LIKE A LOT now he's way cockier as if no one in the whole world can top him and he doesn't need to listen to anyone giving even good advises, how he used to present himself and looked changed drastically now he looks like a junkie, how he used to perform changed so much now he doesn't half half the energy or stage presence and doesn't give af about making mistake a ton times while before he used to perform with extreme perfection. He's listening to their PR teams too much like where did I go live when I miss fans went ? Now he's listening to their cheap promo tricks. His work ethics is completely opposite from what BTS was.. he's working with payola king of the whole industry and buying success. Releasing a 100 version and a western collab with some B grade pop artist. The songs he releasing are basically shit now when he used to release magic shop, film out, your eyes tell and still with you kind of gems.

The ONLY thing connecting me to him now is Jimin. There's no way to avoid JK when you are a Jimin stan. But i'm WAITING for the day Jimin finally open his eyes and get out of this toxic relationship so I don't want to put up with him anymore.

You see, your problem is that Jungkook is not Jimin. That's your problem. Half way through your comment, I smiled to myself and I thought well this Anon would certainly love Jimin then if these are the qualities they looking for in an idol. only to get to the end of the Ask to find out you actually do like Jimin💀

That complicates things for me.

Where should I even begin

There's nothing wrong with having a preference. There's nothing wrong with having a bias.

I'm not gonna come for your throat on this.

You prefer Jimin's work ethics and prefer how seriously he takes his public relations, how he puts on effort and that's alright.

BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO HATE JUNGKOOK just because he's not YOUR PREFERENCE.

If you keep that up you and I gon have a problem.

Do I think Jungkook can take a page or two out of the Jimin idol manual? Sure.

As much as I looove seeing Jungkook live his life on his own terms not giving a fuck what anyone cares- some times, in certain areas I do think he could use that self regulation.

Yet on the other hand, I don't find Jimin's over regulation appealing either. I've ever said his kumbaya persona, caring too much what others think, trying to be perfect, self regulated, evolved, controlling his words, his attention, being overly polite, smiling when he should be cussing people out all in the name of his consciousness of the fact he is an idol really REALLY FRUSTRATES ME.

Jimin struggles with this. The never mind tattoos, the song lyrics yearning for freedom, set me free- where do you think that comes from?

I don't know how we can call ourselves stans and not sense some of these things: the members constantly telling him not to care what people would think, to do whatever he wants,- even Jungkook openly reminding him HE IS AN ADULT and shouldn't care about certain things.

Jungkook is good for Jimin and Jimin is good for Jungkook.

Jimin is the leash and restrain Jungkook needs and Jungkook is the freedom Jimin craves.

Please don't come for jikook I'll paint you and it ain't going to be pretty.

Also remember, this is a human being you are talking about. He is not an alien. He is human just like you. That vitriol and animosity towards him is so not necessary.

I can't help you unhate him.

But please, be a good human.

He is a relatively young man navigating overwhelming situations. I personally think going solo has taught him so much and there is much more he'd learn along the way.

And please, it's slander to say he half ass his performance- have you seen his tiktok? THE THIBGS HE CAN DO WITH HIS WAIST- MY GOD!

Oh and did you see Tae's smoke challenge? I may or may not be addicted to the part he wines his waist- lolay lolay lolay

Sorry I had to go and watch that clip again.

Liste, the point I'm making here is, It's his journey and his choice to decide the type of idol he wants to be. You may like it or you may not. That's a you problem. However he's responsible for his own reputation and his own success in the industry and I think he is still learning to hone his values and filter his choices through those values.

Give that man a break .

In one of the muster interviews as jungkook is talking about magic shop jm taps his chest and asks "I’m the owner right” and jungkook replies with "that’s right" I linked below. And I think jimin also said it was a song he worked really hard and diligently when comparing it to other songs meaning he paid extra attention to it.

Let's get talking 🗣️💜

Warning: this post will discuss mental health and trauma.

Today is World Mental Health Day and until December 2019 I had been fortunate enough to have never had any struggles with mine. But then I did and I am not exaggerating when I say it shook me to my core. Following a traumatic event I was hit hard with anxiety, insomnia, fear, rumination and a constant feeling of impending danger. My home was no longer a place where I felt safe and I ended up working extra hours just to be out of the house. I couldn't eat as I always felt nauseous and I very quickly became a person that others didn't recognise.

I was always the one who helped and supported others in my friendship group so my friends didn't really know how to deal with that person being the one needing help and support. They were worried about me but just weren't sure how to help. So we sat and we talked, a lot, and they listened to my fears and worries and they helped me start to organise the thoughts in my head. One friend suggested that part of my healing may come from helping put the scum who had caused the fear behind bars. But in order to do that I needed to be in a better place. Something clicked in my head and I got in touch with my GP (who was amazing) and got the help I needed. It wasn't easy, it took time for me to feel the benefit of the medication, it definitely got worse before it got better but it did slowly get better. It was bloody hard work and there were days when I was so scared I was never going to get better and that how I was at that time was how I would be forever. But as time went by I felt the old me slowly coming back.

Nearly all of this was happening during COVID-19 a time when we were all forced to be at home, when I couldn't work to escape my house. Nothing like some forced desensitisation to help with healing! One positive to come from it being during this time is that my daughter was home from Uni so I wasn't at home alone and she was an absolute god send and helped me more than she will ever know.

A year later the case finally went to court after many COVID 19 influenced delays and I was in a place where I could give my evidence and give it well. It was terrifying and it's a blur but the next day all three defendants changed their plea and were sentenced to a joint total of 33 years.

This is when the real healing started as I knew they were gone for a long time and I was safe.

Now whilst my daughter was home she introduced me to a group called BTS, you may have heard of them 😁. These 7 men have been a significant part of my healing and they will never know how they brought light, laughter, happy tears and song to some very dark days. They also bought some sad tears but they were cathartic sad tears, We are Bulletproof: the eternal, Zero O'Clock and Magic Shop were three of my favourites to have a healing cry too.

My fight with my mental health continues and it has reared its ugly head again following my recent diagnosis of a chronic condition. But on the whole I am winning with the help of some amazing friends both near and far. There are some very special people on here that I speak to regularly about Jikook and life in general and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for listening to me. I am always here to return the kindness 💜💜

V-day 2017: video with matching outfits.

V-day 2018: Jimin flies home from Japan a day early and they go out and spend the next day having fun with sunwoon. Before this they spent days twt to eo while JM was away.

V-day 2019: the day before JM sings magic shop (by JK) and promise. The next day JM posts a pic with him and JK.

Chinese v-day: they posted selcas together for multiple years.

Silver day 2019: they spent the day practicing and watching the moon together. On the way home JK posts a selcas on him and "Jimin's broad smile".

White day 2022: JM posts first pic with another person, JK. Both dressed in white. And they go out to eat with friends.

White day 2023: JK goes live while JM is in the US, and joins in the chat. Jk plays There For You and sings a part of Christmas Day.

They have always been together on Chusoek. A national holiday usually spent with family and loved ones.

They are the only two who have never missed eo birthdays and even their families cook seaweed soup for the other.

Precious people. Who's that one special person that has never missed JK's birthday? Right.

I'm telling you guys. Jikook took their fanservice role too seriously and fell for each other 😭 Pretend relationship gone wrong (right)

What's wrong with jungkook

Omg. Jk has been giving me mixed signals eversince he released seven. It's like there's a spark but the wires are not connecting cause wtf. Okay so before jimin got number one on the BB I bet nobody ever dreamt of it or even thought it was possible even jimin himself he never aimed for the billboard he just wanted to release music but it just happened to happen that every song he released this year charts on the BB. Like how am I going to say this... I just don't know what's wrong with him lately he's like a rookie that just got fame and now is letting it change him. Like I know there's no problem whatsoever when a person wants to chart on the BB I mean that's ever artist's dream but...

Like what do you mean by that. Jk already know that, that position is already secured scooter already payed the money we know. But why the sudden obsess with no1 if jimin hadn't got that no1 I bet he wouldn't even be thinking about it. But I've always knew he's been competitive and he's said numerous times he wants to be recognised more and stuff so what scooter and bang pd did they didn't manipulate him nor threaten him he wants this, all this payola and fraud. I'm disappointed in him actually cause why would he actually shit ok everything that BTS stood for, for years making music the honest way. What's he hoping to gain from this? Because armies might be blind but the world isn't. Like what is wrong with him.

The members have been acting fishy during the second chapter. If it's not Tae distancing himself from the group it's RM and acting bitter sometimes and well yoongi then now jk who's suddenly became chart obsessed it's like he tryna be the Beyonce of the group or something. I literally don't want to hate him but lowrdddd he's pushing me lowrdddd. It's like he tryna prove he's the golden goose and no-one can outdo him. I don't know what's he hoping to gain from this really because news flash this ain't gonna gain him new fans or something. BTS have always been used as scapegoats and belittled for way too long after proving themselves over and over again to the west and to Asia that honest artists to exits, that in order to achieve you must be passionatee

BTS has always preached about how making music is more that just making musing and selling music it's about passion, the message and all but wtf is this...

I swear I'm not slandering him nor being a hater jk is/ was my second fav after jimin and I'm a jikooker and I love them both but I tend to lean to jimin's side more because he's the owner of the magic shop. The reason why I'm into BTS today.

Anyways BTS has never urged us to vote for them, stream for them, buy their music all they've asked from us is to enjoy their music. But someone doesn't think so...

Yoongi and JK are the members that have been pushed the most so far. I mean a Tour really when's he going to military? Then jk and his payola and fraud I'm disgusted atp. It's like he wants to blow up so bad, like dude you're already famous what more do you want, or he knows he wouldn't have achieved what he did with seven without all that push which is why he's welcoming the payola with open hands and happy about it.

Idk I don't want to sound like a hater but jk is annoying me rn so so much I don't want to end up hating him because hey it's not that deep but honestly how would you feel if you were called to the table to eat fancy food with utensils while your brothers eat crumbs on the floor but then hey

This is the last time I'm talking about this I'm unfollowing anything related to him because I don't want to be toxic and know what's going to happen forward is going to shatters that little love I have left from him so I'm unfollowing everything related to him I don't want to see his face nor hear his name till jimin releases something.

Anyways congratulations to Tae on his new ambassadorial deal as the new brand ambassador for Cartier. And Kths had the nerve to involve jimin in their celebration like have your little celebration but know your boundaries Tiffany is bigger than Celine and Cartier combined. Does anyone know the difference between a Global House ambassador and a Brand Ambassador
