Happy pride month!! This pride, it is so important to remember our roots and to never stop fighting for justice. The reason the LGBTQ+ community has the rights we have today is because of black trans women. Never forget that. Keep signing petitions, keep educating yourself, keep protesting if you can, and do not stop until people of color and queer people everywhere are equal and valued.

I wanted to draw a celebration of canon queer characters for pride this year, and in doing so I realized how important good representation is. It was really hard for me to find all these characters, and it made me wish that it was as easy to find a character that was like me as it is to find a cis & straight character. Anyways, we need more shows like She-Ra y’all. Enjoy the art!

Again, not a ship, but he deserved a day for himself.

Jewelstar is confirmed to be trans since they were referred to as the #starsisters previously and now they are referred to as the #starsiblings. Also, he is voiced by a trans actor.

I feel in love with him and his sisters instantly, they are adorable and I wanted to see more of them.

This drawing is bigger than the others but I liked it. He hair ended up looking like cotton candy (at least in person;)

Trans Golden Guard

I got to say I love how this head canon is spreading. When I first made my post about thinking Hunter is trans there were only a couple other trans Hunter posts at the time, but in the month since than I have seen such amazing trans Hunter head canon’s and fanart, and nearly, if not over 50% of all Goldric fics in Ao3 have him as trans. At this point it would be so amazing for it to become canon as then this show would have a lesbian, bisexual, non-binary, and trans character. There is always room for more lgbt rep and I hope Hunter becomes apart of it. Side note there are very, very few trans men in tv, even less in kids shows, and as far as I know only one in animation (Jewelstar) so Hunter being ftm would be just amazing.

What’s your opinion on Bow x Jewelstar, Catra x Double Trouble and Bow x Perfuma?

Bow x Jewelstar - is great bc a few of us saw them standing next to eachother and said "oh wow 👀" and that's galaxy brain. My good friends @athetos and @acephysicskarkat have used this ship in their fics/headcanons. I fully support it.

Catra x Double Trouble - I've actually only recently begun seeing really genuinely good content for these two?? Again from mutuals @raiising and @acephysicskarkat mostly. I used to only see DT x Catra as really creepy 'turn into Adora for me' concepts, so I avoided consuming ship content for them. What I'm seeing now (and in the show) is a rly interesting dynamic. I'm down for Catrouble.

Bow x Perfuma - I literally adore this ship. I think it kinda died out a bit after earlier seasons, but all the fanart and moments in the show between them are so cute. My friend @softpastel-lesbian used them in their current modern AU fic! Underrated pair.

Honestly, spop had a lot of rly fun and great ships (Merfuma is another fav) and it's unfortunate that by the end of the show, no one cared about anything but c//a.
