BABYMOON/ first holiday with baby. Matty holding baby in the pool 🥹

oh my god!! yes. i'm imagining the baba being around eighteen months old (walking and kinda talking and eating solid food) when you take them abroad for the first time (although i think, like, uk city breaks with the baby when they're really little would be so cute, just weekends here and there. although god help you trying to get a pram around, say, edinburgh!). they've been teething non-stop for the past 6 months, and all three of you are a little bit stressed and emotional, and maybe you and matty are watching tv one night after the baby's gone to sleep and there's like a holiday/flight company ad (not the fucking jet2 one though i fucking HATE IT lol), and matty just turns to you and says "let's go on holiday". you don't even need convincing - even the THOUGHT of sunshine and sea air and just warmth has you feeling more relaxed already, so you book it then and there. i think you'd pick somewhere that's not too long a flight from london for you and the baby, so maybe you do two weeks in spain - malaga, perhaps? and obv baba is none the wiser, but you and matty are so excited for your first international family holiday. just like he did before they were born, matty almost goes a bit insane with the clothes shopping - he's buying cute little t-shirts and shorts and swimwear for the baby, a pair of tiny little docs sandals (cutest things on earth btw), little sunhats and baseball caps to protect their scalp in the sun (he defo cries at the tiny hats in the shops don't @ me), and even a pair of baby ray-bans that match his :')) and i think matty would totally spoil you with new clothes too! like, this is the first big thing that's happened to you all since the baby was born, and he just wants to treat and appreciate you, love of his life and mother of his child. and matty knows you so well at this point, like he's so attuned to what kind of clothes you like most and feel your best in, so everything he buys you - mostly pretty sundresses/maxi skirts and swimsuits - is something you'll absolutely love.

anyway, onto the actual holiday. the flight itself is alright - baby sleeps for part of it, then looks at a couple of picture books, and the cabin crew are BESOTTED with them - and so is the journey to your villa (i think you'd probs hire a car, just for ease with the little one). and it's incredible - very private, but in a nice area that you can walk around with the baby, which you do most days. i think you definitely go to the beach at least once - baba is NOT vibing with walking on the sand without their sandals on at first, at which you turn to matty and go "that's your genetics, definitely", but they're fine with it after you convince them to do a bit of paddling in the sea and play the game where you jump over the tiny waves. like they literally will not stop giggling and going "more, mummy!" until they're (and you're) exhausted, and then matty builds sandcastles with them while you sit and read your book, looking up sporadically and awww-ing at the sight of their curly heads bowed intently as they create their masterpiece (you take a sneaky pic, which soon becomes your lockscreen). most days, though, you just spend lazing about in the villa, playing in the garden or in the pool and just enjoying the sun - baba's a bit reluctant towards the sunscreen application process, though, and the only way they'll sit through it is if they see you putting it on matty and vice versa. naturally, matty loves this, because it means he gets to touch up his bikini-clad wife multiple times a day - and that's before the proper touching begins after baby goes to bed at night. anyway, back to daytime; truly your favourite thing about the holiday is watching matty and the baba in the pool, the two of them constantly giggling and splashing about. i think matty genuinely tries to teach the little one to swim, like has their little armbands on and some floaties, but most of the time he just holds them as he floats and walks about the pool, talking and singing and playing games. baba's favourite pool game, though, is one you're involved in too, and it came about by accident - you were standing fanning yourself at the poolside one day, and baba was like "mummy hot?", and matty just looked you up and down smirking and went "oh, mummy's hot alright", and you like rolled your eyes and matty laughed and went "come in with us and cool down" and you were like "yeah ok but don't splash me", so obviously matty held the baby and scooted over to you humming the jaws theme and splashed you and you were like "OI" and baba found the whole thing hilarious, so now you have to let the two of them splash you every time you go into the pool. but you don't mind, obvs - they're your family and you love them and you just all have the best time relaxing and having fun <3

rich people writing really condescending think pieces about how OMG they never realized how bad flying is for the environment until they saw a movie or something and immediately cancelled their numerous frivolous holiday flights to uh… watch the lunar eclipse in china and do a charity bike race in tanzania and now would like to urge you to go Flight Free as well is so infuriating to me like. there is absolutely zero self awareness re: the fact that the amount of people who are doing these random long haul flights several times a year with no reason other than to just vacation in a country across the world is Not That Large because for most like, working to middle class people in the UK you really only do one out of the country trip a year max and usually on a relatively tight schedule bc you’re trying to fit the whole thing in your allotted holiday days where flying is really the only thing that makes sense for scheduling reasons. like yes you can take a train (??) to barcelona and spend 30 hours on travel but then it makes almost more sense to just Not Go. and the price difference is only small enough for it to be a rough equivalent if you’re already flying on a normal airline like BA and not a budget one like ryanair or jet2, because rail travel is more expensive in the uk than budget airline air travel lol. and this doesn’t even account for the fact that for many of us the reason we travel in the first place is because we’re IMMIGRANTS with family ACROSS THE WORLD where train travel would make less than zero sense of be outright impossible. “oh we have so many sights to see in the UK” ok good for you some of us would like to see our family.  “ mate, i’m here for the memories, innit — get me on that jet2 holiday ting !  nah, i’m messing. i actually think it will be so cool though to see it from like, a filming perspective. like how a show like this operates. i have a mate from the big old landan town who’s reyt successful now cos he got a job on snog, marry, avoid. am i allowed to talk about snog, marry, avoid on here ? no ? okay, well cut that, then. i think it’ll just be a good experience. i actually had like, a pretty shit time recently with a girl i was mad keen on and since then dating’s felt a bit of a minefield, so it’s a good opportunity to speed-date and test the water, see if there’s a spark. would be nice to get back to the villa in one piece  — that’s probably my main goal. ”

Ani-tourist sentiment could become “dangerous” as it spreads to Spain, an expert has warned, as Ibiza locals join the growing chorus of people fed up with their homes becoming overrun with people. Protesters have called for a crackdown on tourists visiting the Spanish seaside resort, which is popular with Britons seeking a sun-soaked break aboard. Campaigners have claimed that overcrowding has forced workers on the island to “hotbed” in rooms of up to six people and that residents now caravans due to skyrocketing property prices. The protests echo those from other Spanish tourism hotspots, including the Balearic and Canary Islands, one of which is Tenerife, the community now dotted with “tourists go home” graffiti. Airline operators have said the increased activism is a “danger” to some of these areas, with their reputations now being placed on the line. Steve Heapy, the CEO of Jet2 and Jet2 Holidays, warned on Tuesday that Spain is at risk “from an anti-tourist sentiment”. Speaking at a forum hosted by Spanish tourism publication Hosteltur, the CEO added that if they are allowed to continue and illegal holiday lets are not dealt with, tourists “will leave”. He said: “Spain is at risk from an anti-tourist sentiment that could affect its reputation in the long term.” Mr Heapy added: “If the impression is given that tourists are not wanted, they will leave.” Other forum attendees issued similar warnings and had harsher words for local officials who they believe have failed to deal with overcrowding. Ramón Aragonés, the CEO of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, said the issue was a “scourge” and warned it would be “difficult to reverse the reputation of the sector” in Spain. He said the country is now “associated with overcrowding” and added the present demand on the sector is “not sustainable over time”. Ibiza locals leading the campaign against overcrowding have said they are not against tourists but seeking reform to the industry, namely dealing with the issue of illegal renting. Wolverhampton-born activist Xaquelina Perry, who has lived in Ibiza for 40 years, told the i her group wants to “change the model of tourism”. As know went on holiday to Turkey in October but get there in Brigingham Airport wasn't that good As you see wear hearing aids and got Dyspraxia but Dyspraxia now on Austim Spectrum now but talking travel on Holiday from Uk to Turkey really enjoy going Turkey so now book assistance with Eastjet Travel and book assistance with

Brigingham Airport and had few friends with me. Having Dyspraxia sometime can't stand up more then two hours through security line but know got job so wear Sunflower hidding disabilities landyard with Dyspraxia, Half deaf and hearing aids because Airport so busy and people so rude don't want break £3.000 hearing aids ( even can't wear them near water so have be careful going swimming pool and art painting) so going holiday to Turkey and book chicken meal on plane in case wasn't any gluten free food in Lounge 1 but wasn't gluten free food but said was ( Only have quickly going toilet on plane just said food disagreed with me).

So was meet with assistance and took me to Gate way with other wheelchair and passport but then arrived on plane but one promble on plane " There some alleged to nuts please do not eat on plane please" " Then Gluten free chicken give me was happy very nice wish order on way back but tell what happon on way back from Turkey to UK.

Then really helpful and chicken meal was nice been Gluten free food usely don't taste that good no flavour.( just bit have promble with Gluten free food in Lounge 1 ) so really enjoy travel to Turkey 🇹🇷 look for two weeks holiday.

As having two weeks in Turkey visiting all friends I know and would vist same hotel again next year. I also like vistor St Nicholas Hotel really enjoying that but other side Turkey was like Blackpool in UK

I went in Club Islamic hotel in Turkey 🇹🇷.

I enjoy beach on downfall got paid for drink get free sunbed on beach.

The food sometime ok ,sometime could not have it because Coelic and on Gluten free diet and sometimes food was beautifully special lamb food in Hotel.

Lot of cats and saw 3 Animals called Tosit( check that)though friend was wind me up) so cats 🐈 love me jump on my sun bed no kids alwon in that area and lots ants.

I went in Turkey town get few Christmas things for family and friends but haven't got all Christmas gift yet.

After two week time back on home so went Turkey Airport went to easy jet assistance jet this where promble start there wasn't noughting assistance staff in Turkey and ask for wheelchair because hearing aids fall on hard floor and jet2 staff male " Really " I thought at rude of him. So wasn't in impressed with easyjet2 staff on Airport and but dispoint and still wait for wheelchair and lot other people went on assistance que so not enough wheelchair in Turkey Airport. I sunflowers hidding card did help me but some people didn't believe hear words fake when got plane get home to UK ( but use that have that same things at home) so enjoy travel on plane then my friends decide want to eat but got to me there wasn't any Gluten free food and was sale out so said here Gluten free sandwich box but only daily milk chocolate left and could not eat that chocolate so open Gluten free box where gluten free bread? Wasn't any there only two crackers and dip and crisp and one chocolate bar should not eat as made by peanuts in raw chocolate but luck wasn't allergy to nuts but some eles was and Gluten free sandwich box no sandwich cost £5 so decide say noughting drip in drink of tea.

Then went ages for assistance back in uk and have wait another family put family in wheelchairs too.

So assistance took forever in Brigingham Airport but saw got there with wheelchair but try best out bad situation but some part off assistance want do four and want come back to me but mum had another idea have go with mum so went down lift and all usely things got taxi he ask me " where my tip?" In uk All money 💰 in Natwest. " " Thank you and went home but Turkey assistance bit better then uk assistance this time.
