Jet2.com Limited is a British low-cost leisure airline offering scheduled and charter flights from the United Kingdom. It is the third-largest scheduled airline in the UK, behind easyJet and British Airways. Jet2 is also officially the largest tour operator in the UK. Its headquarters are located at Leeds Bradford Airport. Further bases are at Belfast–International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London–Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle airports. The airline began operating commercial aircraft in 1983 under the name Channel Express. Initially a freight operator, from 2001 the airline also began operating passenger charter services using Boeing aircraft to international destinations on mainly short and medium-haul routes.

Os dois maiores operadores turísticos do Reino Unido – Jet2 e Tui UK - anunciaram um aumento significativo da capacidade para o verão de 2024. De acordo com dados recentemente publicados pela Autoridade de Aviação Civil Britânica, tanto o Jet2 quanto o TUI solicitaram um aumento nos assentos protegidos pelo seguro ATOL, um fundo de compensação que protege o consumidor que reservou um pacote de férias que inclui um voo no caso de falência do operador turístico ou da companhia aérea. A Jet2 amplia a sua liderança com um aumento de 850.000 assentos protegidos perfazendo agora a um total de 6,7 milhões. Por sua vez, a TUI UK fez um aumento de 522.000 assentos protegidos para chegar a 5,9 milhões. Se a oferta de sua subsidiária, a Marella Cruises, for adicionada, o número de assentos sobe para 6,2 milhões. Quanto à easyJet Holidays, que  tem o maior aumento de lugares, somando 980.720, atingindo um total de 2,2 milhões.
