Celebration
Tumblr media
The crowd roared with excitement as YN YLN stepped into the ring, ready to defend her title against Mickey James. The tension in the arena was palpable, and the energy was infectious. Among the sea of cheering fans, Jeff Hardy stood by the entrance ramp, his heart pounding with a mix of nerves and anticipation.
As the match unfolded, YN showcased her incredible athleticism and determination, going toe-to-toe with Mickey James in an intense battle for the women’s championship. The audience watched in awe as YN executed high-flying maneuvers and strategic holds, determined to prove herself as a worthy champion.
In the front row, Lita and Matt Hardy sat side by side, their eyes glued to the action in the ring. Lita, a trailblazing WWE legend herself, couldn’t help but feel a surge of pride for YN’s accomplishments. She glanced over at Matt, who nodded in agreement, sharing the sentiment.
Backstage, Jeff paced nervously, his thoughts consumed by YN’s match. He knew the sacrifices and dedication she had poured into her wrestling career. She had trained relentlessly, overcome setbacks, and proven herself time and again. He believed in her, and he wanted nothing more than to see her succeed.
Finally, the moment arrived. YN executed a breathtaking finishing move that left Mickey James sprawled on the mat. The referee’s hand hit the mat three times, signaling the end of the match. The arena erupted in cheers as YN was declared the victor and the new women’s champion.
With adrenaline still coursing through her veins, YN’s eyes locked onto Jeff’s figure at the entrance ramp. As she climbed out of the ring, the crowd’s cheers served as a symphony of celebration. She reached Jeff, and their eyes met in a mixture of pride, relief, and affection.
“You did it,” Jeff said, his voice a mix of awe and happiness. “You look happier than I’ve ever seen you.”
YN’s smile was radiant as she embraced him. “I couldn’t have done it without you,” she replied, her voice filled with gratitude. “Your support means everything to me.”
Lita and Matt joined them, sharing in the joyous moment. The four of them stood together, a united front of friends and loved ones, celebrating YN’s hard-fought victory. The journey had been marked by challenges, but the triumph was all the sweeter because of it.
As the confetti rained down in celebration and the crowd’s cheers continued to echo, YN knew that this was a milestone in her career she would cherish forever. And in Jeff’s embrace, she found a sense of fulfillment and happiness that words couldn’t adequately express.
After the exhilarating victory and the roar of the crowd had subsided, YN, Jeff, Lita, and Matt headed backstage, their spirits high and the excitement still palpable. They found themselves in a private area, away from the bustling chaos of the event. YN’s championship belt was slung over her shoulder, a constant reminder of her hard-earned triumph.
“Tonight calls for a celebration!” Lita exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. “How about we find a great place to go out and have some fun?”
YN’s grin widened, and she looked at Jeff, feeling his hand gently squeeze hers. “Sounds like a plan to me,” she said, her voice filled with excitement.
Matt chimed in, his characteristic grin present. “I know a fantastic spot nearby with good food and an awesome atmosphere. What do you think?”
As they made their way to the restaurant, the group laughed and reminisced about the journey that had led them to this moment. Jeff and Matt shared stories of their wrestling adventures, while Lita recounted some of her own experiences in the ring. YN listened with rapt attention, feeling grateful to be surrounded by friends who understood the unique challenges and triumphs of the wrestling world.
At the restaurant, they were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to a reserved table. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, and the group settled in, ready to enjoy a well-deserved meal.
As they savored their food and shared more stories, Jeff leaned in close to YN, his eyes reflecting his admiration. “You were incredible out there,” he whispered. “Seeing you in that ring, giving it your all, it made me so proud.”
YN blushed, her heart skipping a beat. “Thank you, Jeff. Your support means everything to me. I couldn’t have done it without you by my side.”
Their eyes locked, and in that moment, the noise of the restaurant seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in their own world of connection and shared dreams.
Lita, always the perceptive one, nudged Matt with a knowing smile. “Looks like we’re in the presence of a power couple,” she whispered, earning a chuckle from Matt.
After their meal, they headed back to their hotel, the night still young and full of possibilities. Back in their room, YN and Jeff shared a quiet moment on the balcony, gazing out at the city lights.
“You know,” Jeff began, his voice soft, “when I first saw you in the ring, there was something different about you. Your determination, your spirit—it’s infectious.”
YN leaned against the railing, her heart swelling with emotion. “And you, Jeff, you’re my rock. Your unwavering belief in me gives me the strength to keep pushing forward.”
As they stood side by side, the cityscape before them seemed to shimmer with the promise of new beginnings. The night was a testament to their shared journey, the challenges they’d overcome, and the happiness they’d found in each other’s company.
As Jeff and YN returned to their hotel room, a lingering sense of excitement and closeness enveloped them. The air seemed charged with a newfound energy, a blend of their shared accomplishments and the electrifying atmosphere of the evening. YN’s heart raced as Jeff closed the door behind them, his eyes locked onto hers.
Jeff took a step closer, his fingers gently tracing the curve of YN’s jawline. “You looked so breathtaking out there,” he whispered, his voice husky with emotion.
YN’s breath hitched, her eyes never leaving his. “You’re the reason I had the strength to give it my all,” she replied, her voice barely more than a whisper.
In that moment, any remaining distance between them evaporated, and their lips met in a passionate kiss. The taste of victory and desire mingled as their kiss deepened, a testament to their shared passion and connection.
As their lips parted, Jeff’s gaze burned with intensity, his fingers deftly undoing the straps of YN’s championship belt. The belt fell to the floor with a soft thud, a symbolic shedding of the weight she had carried throughout the match.
YN’s fingers moved to the buttons of Jeff’s shirt, her movements eager yet deliberate. With each button that came undone, their desire intensified, a flame that had been ignited by the adrenaline of the evening’s events.
Their clothes fell away one by one, each piece an offering of vulnerability and trust. Their bodies pressed together, the heat between them a reflection of their unspoken desires. The room was filled with the sound of their whispers, their breaths coming in sync as they explored each other with a newfound urgency.
Amidst the intensity, there were moments of tenderness—soft touches, lingering kisses, and whispered words of affirmation. The culmination of their journey, both individually and as a couple, had led them to this moment of raw connection.
As the night unfolded, their bodies danced in a rhythm only they could understand. Time seemed to blur, and their shared pleasure became a symphony of sighs and gasps, a testament to their intimacy and the bond they had cultivated.
In the aftermath, as they lay entwined, their breathing gradually slowed, and a sense of contentment settled over them. Jeff’s fingers traced patterns along YN’s skin, and she nestled her head against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
“You know,” Jeff whispered, his voice a gentle murmur, “tonight wasn’t just about the match. It was about us—our journey together.”
YN looked up at him, her eyes filled with affection. “You’re right. Every moment, every challenge, has led us here.”
As they drifted into sleep, wrapped in each other’s arms, the room was filled with a sense of completion. Their love, their shared victories, and their unbreakable bond had brought them to this place of intimacy and connection. And as they rested, they knew that the journey was far from over, but they were ready to face whatever came their way, united in their love and the strength they found in each other.

Living alone and being young had its perks; You could leave whenever you pleased, arrive home no matter what hour of the day it was, your money went towards your bills, food, and things for your cat, Snuffles.
No parents nagging in your ear about curfew or other problems you didn't care about. You weren't a trouble maker: Straight A's, great attendance, a goody two shoes, but you were tired of living under your parents rules and high expectations.
Once you graduate you went full time at your job and searched for a cheap but nice apartment. Luckily, the one bedroom and one bathroom apartment was in your price range. While meeting up with the landlord to look at the apartment, you took it in a heartbeat.
While living in the small apartment, you decided to get some company. You went to the local animal shelter and asked about adopting a pet. Krystal, the one in charge of the shelter, talked about a stray they’ve had for some time now. “We don’t know how he’ll react to being an indoor cat but we’re going to be forced to euthanize him if he isn’t adopted soon.” She said as the two of you walked into the cat room. Your eyes were immediately drawn to some beautiful orange fur. Attached to the fur were some big green eyes that looked like emerald jewels. Your heart became so warm that it felt like it was going to burst out of your chest. “His name is Snuffles.”
After quickly filling out an adoption application, the shelter contacted you the very next day to bring Snuffles home. Ending the phone call, you quickly grabbed your keys and headed out the door to bring Snuffles home.
You tried to maintain yourself, not wanting to scare the little guy. You placed his cage in the middle of the living room, opened it and walked away, letting him explore on his own.
That was nearly a year ago. Snuffles got used to his new environment quicker than you expected. He realized he had a home instead of being cooped up in a small cage and only getting fed once a day. Snuffles quickly became attached to you and he loved to play with you and his toys.
The neighbors in the apartment complex were nice as well. You visited a single mother that lived below you often. She gave you a plate full of cookies and left overs. Her 5 year old son was cute too, he loved Snuffles. Snuffles paid no mind to the toddler grabbing his tail or tugging at his fur. The old cat understood the child's intentions.
There was an elderly couple, The Johnson’s, across the hall from you. They were talking about leaving for a retirement home, which made you upset, but glad that they'd be in a home supervised and they wouldn't get hurt in their apartment.
Walking up the first flight of stairs, you frowned as EMT's rushed past you, heading down stairs. Quickly jogging up to your floor, you saw a police officer by Mr. and Mrs. Johnson’s apartment. "What's going on?" You asked, approaching the officer.
"Do you know these people?" His voice was gruff with a stone cold look on his face.
"Well, they're my neighbors. I've known them for almost two years now. What happened?" You asked again, getting worried. Your eyes darted to his name tag. D. Knicks. "Please, Officer Knicks."
Officer Knicks sighed, taking his cap off and running his fingers through his thin dark hair. "Mr. Johnson," He started, "he suffered a heart attack." He placed the blue and black hat upon his head again. "I'm sorry, he didn't make it."
"And Mrs. Johnson, what of her?" You tried to get a look at the Johnson's apartment, only to see an EMT zipping up a black body bag. Your face instantly becomes white at the sight.
"She's with her daughter. Mrs. Johnson is going to live with her for a while."
You nodded your head in sorrow. "At least she's okay." You maneuvered your way past the tall officer, unlocking your apartment, you walked in and were greeted by Snuffles. "Oh Snuffles, Mr. Johnson passed away." You bent down and patted his head.
"Meow." He rubbed his body against your leg as if he was trying to say 'Don't worry, everything will be okay.'
"You're right Snuffles, Mrs. Johnson is with her daughter, she'll be alright." You tried to reassure yourself.
Fixing up dinner later that night, You heard a knock at the door. "Coming." You walked towards the front door, looking through the peephole to see your friend from downstairs, Lexi and her son, Dawson.
Unlocking both locks, you swung the door open. "Y/N!” Lexi wrapped her arms around you. "I heard what happened to Mr. and Mrs. Johnson." She released the hug and walked in, Dawson was already in the apartment looking for Snuffles. You sat down on the sofa and Lexi joined you.
"They were just about to go to a retirement home together." You explained to her in a sad voice. You don't want to think too much about it, dying alone must be terrible. It encourages you to go out and start dating, to search for your soul mate. But only being in your early twenties, you brush off the whole dating idea and remind yourself that you're still young.
"Sad. Did you hear about their apartment?"
"No?" You arched my eyebrow.
"Well, Mrs. Johnson has to get her things out before the end of the week because someone is going to be moving in."
Your eyes widen. "How morbid!" You nearly shouted, the poor woman lost her husband and now the landlord isn't giving her any time to move out. "Her husband just passed away." You frowned.
"At least she has her daughter. I'm sure they'll figure something out." Lexi patted your knee in comfort.
"Yeah, I guess so. No matter who moves in across from me, they'll never be as nice as The Johnson's."
"Y/N, calm down. I'm sure whoever moves next door will be nice." Lexi explained. She stood up from her place and picked up Dawson who whined slightly. "Well, it's getting late. Somebody has school in the morning and if they don't get enough sleep, they will be cranky." Lexi groaned out. "Don't have kids." She whispered with a teasing wink.
You scrunch your nose. "No thanks, I'll stick with my cat."
"You'll have kids, Y/N. You just wait." Lexi headed towards the door, exiting herself out.
"No, thank you." You mumbled to yourself.
The week went on and by the end of it you were exhausted. You ran to the grocery store to buy cat food, food for yourself, and other things that you ran out of. You were almost late for your shifts down at the cafe which made some coworkers upset. Some of your bills were almost overdue but, luckily, you paid them off right at the last second.
Christmas was coming up and you had no idea what to get your friend Lexi or your family members. The Holidays were drawing near.
Stomping up the steps with your arms full of shopping bags, you tried your best trying to see where you were walking. You heard a door slam shut, you grew worried that someone was in your apartment. "Ooph!" You stumbled backwards, it was like you just walked right into a brick wall.
"Watch where you're going." A male voice snarled.
You made a sour face. "Well, I would if I could." You snapped back at the man. "But obviously my hands are a bit full."
"Ever heard of a second trip?" He retorted back.
You turned your body to the side to see who you were dealing with. A young male that was nearly the same age as you or a bit older stood in your way. He wore a fishnet shirt that exposed his muscles and nipples, his hair was dyed different colors and shoulder length. His pants were black and ripped with a couple of chains hanging off of them. You scoffed. "Nice, did the circus come to town?" You snorted.
"No, I'm a professional wrestler." He gloated, puffing his chest out as if you were supposed to worship him. "Jeff Hardy is the name." He smirked, as if I should know who he was.
"Right, whatever Jeffy." You pushed past him and to your apartment.
"Don't tell me you're my neighbor, goody two shoes." Jeff groaned.
Your blood boiled, this guy was your new neighbor?! You'd rather take back the Johnson's. "You got a problem with it, then move." You snapped, fishing your keys out of your pockets.
Jeff smirked, watching you struggle and trying to juggle the grocery bags in your hands trying to get your keys. He could offer to help but he liked to see you suffer already.
"You could help instead of staring at me." You stopped trying to fetch your keys.
"Yeah, I could." You heard Jeff chuckle. "Have a good one neighbor." Jeff started to walk down the steps.
Your arms grew weak, the bags fell to the floor. Foods and gifts poured out of the ripped brown baggies. Groaning you glared down the steps to see that Jeff was already off of this floor and to the next. Ripping your house keys out of your pants you opened up the door to your small apartment.
You hated your new neighbor, Jeff Hardy. He was obnoxious, loud and apparently, he had lots of friends because he threw parties almost every damn night. You called the cops but since you were the only one who complained. They told you to take it up to your landlord. You grit your teeth and do what they suggested. Taking it to your landlord, he just shrugged his shoulders and explained that Jeff was a paying tenant.
You couldn't catch a break. You were losing sleep, getting headaches on the regular. You confronted Jeff about the loud noises, he promised to keep it down but he was just louder the next night, you didn't think that was possible.
"Dude, you look terrible." Lexi said, smirking as she sipped her soda.
"Don't remind me." You grumbled, drinking your beverage.
Dawson chased Snuffles around the apartment, the cat meowed while the toddler giggled away. "Can you seriously not hear anything from underneath him?" You asked, eyes droopy. You thought you were gonna fall asleep in the middle of a sentence.
"Not a thing." She chuckled into her cup. "You should take a vacation, get out of town for a while."
"I guess that sounds fun." You murmured. Your attention went to Snuffles running underneath the coffee table. "But who would take care of Snuffles?" You looked over at Lexi, wondering if she'd do it.
"Nuh- Huh, I have a child to take care of. That's already a handful. I have a friend, a guy friend." She wiggled her eyebrows. "Maybe I can hook you two up when you get back. His name is Randy."
You bit your lip, looking down at the hard wooden floor. You heard stories about Randy, you were scared he'd hurt Snuffles or throw a party in your apartment. Sighing out you scratched the back of your head. "I don't know." You sounded reluctant to have this man come to your apartment.
"I say yes, you're going out of town for the weekend." Lexi already had her phone pulled out, texting away to Randy.
It looked like you didn't have a choice. "I do have the weekend off.." You trailed off into thought. What's the worst that could happen?
The weekend felt more like a week. You visited your parents a few towns over and all you did was text Randy. Not in a flirtatious way but questions about Snuffles. How was he? Was he eating? Can you send pictures? You knew you were annoying the man but you didn't care nor did you have any interest in dating him.
Walking up the stairs to your apartment, you faced your door. About to place the key into the socket, you stopped and listened. It was quiet. That was new. You turned your head behind you, looking at your neighbors, Jeff Hardy's door. There wasn't a peep coming from behind the wood. Raising your eyebrows, you grew curious but that left your mind as quick as it came.
Twisting the key you pushed open the front door. "Hey Randy." You greeted the man who was sprawled out on your leather sofa. You placed your bags in your room and looked around your apartment, there was no sign of Snuffles. You looked at his cat bowls, both the water and food were empty.
His litter box was scooped clean and toys not even touched. Rushing back into the living room Randy still was in the same position. "Where the hell is Snuffles?"
"Who?" He asked groggily.
"My Cat!" You shouted, the man flinched, getting up and stretching.
"About that, he escaped."
Your heart sank. "Escaped?" You whispered, almost in tears.
"Yeah, bolted right out of the apartment the day you left." Randy stalked towards you.
"That's why you never messaged me back." You looked up at the olive skinned man with the green eyes.
"So, should I get my reward now or later?" He licked his lips, eyes shined with want.
You didn’t believe what he said. You raised your hand, slapping his face as hard as you could. Randy stumbled back, shocked. "What the fuck!?" He shouted.
You approached Randy, grabbing him by the shirt and shoving him towards the door. "Get out!" You screamed. You kicked your foot at him, hitting his ass.
"I'm leaving!" He hollered, Randy fell onto all fours when you kicked his ass "Crazy bitch!" Randy stumbled to get onto his feet and rushed to the stairs.
Slamming your door shut, you covered your face, crying. Tears started streaming down your cheeks. You blame yourself for not getting Snuffles microchipped just in case something like this would happen.
Three loud knocks came from the door. "I swear Randy, if that's you."
"It's not, it's me." A voice with southern drawl said through the door.
The door seemed like miles away, grabbing the handle you swung it open, the hinges creaked. "What do you-"
"This belong to you?" Jeff teased, holding out a big orange tabby cat.
"Meow." Snuffles purred.
"Snuffles!" I exclaimed, grabbing him out of Jeff's arms. "What- How did you?" You looked at Jeff with sparkling eyes.
"Well, that boyfriend of yours threw him out. I guess Snuffles here kept bothering him, then scratched him and Randy kicked him out of your apartment. Snuffles kept meowing, wanting back in but that douche wasn't going to let him in so I scooped him up and let him stay here for the weekend." Jeff smiled.
"What about food or cat litter?"
"I got a small bag of food and a litter box with some litter." Jeff petted Snuffles head.
"Wh- Why?" You asked, "Why would you do it?"
Jeff looked down, his eyes shining in the light. "Well, to be honest I know I was a big dick when we first met." He sighed. "I just wanted to make it up to you."
"By saving my cat." You smiled.
"What, you want me to bake you a fruitcake?"
"Tis' the season." You teased.
Jeff rolled his eyes letting out a low chuckle. "If you say so."
Snuffles jumped out of your arms and rushed over to the toys, pawing at them.
"Well, I have pizza rolls in my freezer. It's not a perfect dinner but I'd love to make you dinner sometime?"
Jeff let out a hearty laugh. "Pizza rolls sound amazing right now." He smiled down at you. "You got netflix?"
"Of course I do."
Jeff walked into the apartment, shutting the door behind him.
"So, you say you're a wrestler. Care to show me some moves?" You giggled.

safe and sound - jeff hardy
Tumblr media
2000s!jeff hardy x fem! reader (requested)
word count: 1.9k
warnings: none i think, fluff, ended up mostly gender neutral except for a few pet names
november 8th 2001:
you were standing ringside as your two best friends, lita and jeff, took on lance storm and ivory in a mixed tag team match. originally, matt was supposed to be out here with lita, but he ended up in an intercontinental championship match instead, leaving her without a tag partner, until jeff stepped up. lita and jeff were both amazing to watch, but it stressed you out just how easily they threw themselves off the top ropes and around the ring. you hadn’t been wrestling as long as they had, and you were still in awe everytime you got to see them in action up close.
jeff jumped over the top rope, taking out lance as lita slammed ivory down in the centre of the ring. the redhead climbed up to the top rope and hit a perfect litasault, pinning ivory to win the match for her and jeff.
jeff, who was still outside the ring next to you hugged you and spun you around, before lita pulled him into the ring for the official to raise their arms as the winners. the three of you heading up the ramp and backstage. the three of you hugged to celebrate the victory, and you and lita went to your shared dressing room so you could get changed.
“you were incredible! you and jeff make a really good team, ya know,” you smiled, as she grabbed an outfit from her suitcase and began getting changed.
“thanks. you guys would make a better team though,” she replied.
“i doubt it. i’m nowhere near as good as you.”
“that’s not true. but even if it was, you and jeff have this… insane chemistry that i don’t have with him. you understand eachother in a way i’ve never seen before,” she said as she finished getting dressed. you and the hardy’s had been friends for years, and while you also considered lita to be your best friend, you and jeff did have a special bond; a closer connection than you’d ever had with anyone.
“maybe. but you guys work great together regardless. i don’t think i could do some of those moves you did tonight.” you knew that you weren’t on the same level as lita, and you were okay with that.
“yeah, but you and jeff are really on the same wavelength. maybe one day it’ll be you two against me and matt. that would be fun,” she laughed, grabbing her bag and getting ready to leave the venue.
“that would be amazing,” you agreed.
“that is, if matt actually showed up,” lita added, still a little upset that he had not been the one in the tag match with her tonight.
“are you guys okay?” you asked, concerned.
“yeah, we’re great. it was a title opportunity for him; i can’t really blame him for taking it.” you nodded in agreement.
you picked up your own bag, following lita out of the dressing room, and heading back to the hotel.
•••
you and lita were watching tv in your hotel room, when she received a call from matt.
“right now? oh- okay,” she laughed. “i’ll meet you downstairs in a minute i just have to get dressed,” she spoke into her cell phone. “yeah i’ll ask them. okay see you soon.” she hung up the phone and stood up off the bed, and you looked at her expectantly.
“matt and i are going out for drinks or to the club…i don’t know he didn’t specify. you’re coming too, and jeff,” she explained, sliding her shoes on and checking her appearance in the mirror.
“lita, you know i hate the club -“
“i said i don’t know if we’re going there, matt just said out. it’ll be fun, pleaseee,” she begged, pouting and tugging at your arm to get you up off the bed.
“okay fine, but only if jeff’s going. i’m not third wheeling with you and matt again,” you laughed, recalling the last time you went out with just the two of them, and you had felt like a buzzkill the whole time.
“fine, go get him. matt left their extra key card here for me, the room numbers on it.” she sighed, grabbing her purse and putting her shoes on. “meet us downstairs in a few minutes.” you nodded, quickly fixing your appearance as you hadn’t been planning on going anywhere, before leaving the room to go find jeff.
you got to his room after a few turns down the hallway, and knocked on the door.
“who is it?” you heard jeff’s voice from in the room.
“hey, it’s me. lita gave me the key card; can i come in?” you called.
“yeah, o’course,” he replied, and you swiped the key, letting yourself in. “what’s up?” he asked, sitting up in his bed as you walked into the room.
“matt and lita want us to go out - i told her i would only go if you do.”
“where are they goin?” he asked, looking uninterested in the idea of going anywhere. he was wearing a black tank top that was tight to his torso, and some black track shorts that you could see as the blanket had gathered around his waist when he sat up.
“i don’t know, lita wasn’t sure. i guess matt didn’t say,” you answered. “they’re waiting in the lobby.”
jeff groaned as he flopped backwards to lay down again, his eyes closed. you laughed, sitting on the edge of the bed next to him and gently shaking his shoulders.
“c’mon, j.”
“do you really wanna go? baby, you hate goin’ out.” you didn’t think much of the pet name, people from the south said it all the time.
“not really, but- hey!” you yelped in surprise as jeff grabbed your wrist, gently pulling you down to lay next to him.
“good, let’s just stay here then,” he said, rightly wrapping his arms your waist, clinging to you like a koala.
“at least let me call lita and tell her we’re not going before she sends out a search party, you laughed. jeff let go of you enough for you to sit up, and you dialled litas cell number.
“hey, i think jeff and i are gonna stay in tonight. i’m sorry lita, next time. yes i know that’s what i say everytime but i promise. i know i say that too. okay, be safe, i’ll see you later.”
you hung up your cell, placing it on the nightstand before you kicked off your shoes and cuddled into bed with jeff. you had been friends for so long, it wasn’t wierd at all, often sharing a bed or falling asleep on the couch together after too many horror movies.
“your match tonight was great, by the way,” you complimented, and jeff smiled.
“thank you, i try to put on a good show. maybe one day we’ll have a tag match together,” he hummed as you laid back down, curling into his chest as he pulled you close again.
“that’s what lita was saying. she thinks we have some magical bond that would make us unstoppable,” you mumbled, your voice muffled because of how you were laying.
“i think she’s right,” jeff replied. “one day i’ll get you in the ring with me and we can prove matt’s theory. he thinks we can read each others minds and that’s why we think the same thing all the time.” you laughed at him, and jeff smiled wide at the sound.
“we’ll see. you scare me sometimes with how much you throw yourself around. and i don’t know about wrestling guys yet,“ you admitted.
“c’mon, you’re better than some of them already,” he said, ignoring your concern for his well being.
“i don’t know,” you mumbled. jeff pushed you back gently so you could look at eachother.
“well i do know. you’re amazing. and i would never let anything bad happen to you,” he promised. “inside the ring or outside of it.”
“i know. i feel safe with you,” you admitted, and jeff smiled.
“darlin, that’s the best thing i’ve ever heard.” you relaxed into him again, nuzzling into the crook of his neck.
“i don’t want anything to happen to you, either,” you said. you knew jeff was amazing at what he did, but that didn’t make it any less scary when he threw himself off of twenty foot ladders.
“you don’t have to worry about me, i ain’t going anywhere,” he said, kissing the top of your head.
“promise?” you asked, and jeff’s arms tightened around you.
“i promise, babygirl.”
“i love you, jeff,” you sighed happily.
“you mean it?” he asked, and you kissed his cheek.
“of course.” jeff rolled over so you were both laying on your sides, face to face. “you don’t know that already?”
“i just like hearin you say it,” he smiled, and you laughed. “ya know you do this little nose scrunch when you laugh sometimes, it’s really cute.”
“shut up, i do not.”
“you just did it!” he laughed, and you hid your face in his chest. “it’s cute, don’t be embarrassed.”
“too late.”
“you don’t have to be embarrassed around me, hell we’ve seen eachother at our worst and we’re still friends.” jeff was right; you had been through a lot together, and at this point you didn’t think there was anything that could come between you.
“i know,” you sighed. “i don’t think anything will ever change that.”
“good. and i love you too.” you hummed in response, and there was a comfortable silence for a minute.
“we would make a good tag team though,” you admitted, and jeff laughed, and you could feel the vibration in his chest.
“damn right,” he agreed.
“lita said we should have a match against her and matt.”
“oh hell yeah, that’d be so awesome. any excuse to wrestle my brother, and you and lita against eachother would kick ass.”
“you mean she would kick my ass,” you laughed.
“you don’t give yourself enough credit. yeah she’s great but you are too.”
“thanks jeff, i appreciate that.”
“o’course,” he kissed the top of your nose, and you giggled. “you did it again -“
“shut up!” you laughed, punching his chest playfully.
“yeah? you gonna make me?” he asked, and started tickling your ribs, causing you to laugh harder. you wrestled around until you managed to get on top of him, straddling his hips.
“stop - or i start tickling you next.”
“alright alright, truce.” he held his hands up in surrender, and you caught your breath, realizing the position you were in. jeff sat up, holding you in his lap.
“jeff-“
“you said nothing could change our friendship right?” he asked softly, his eyes looking into yours.
“yeah, why-“ jeff leaned forward and kissed you softly, his lips barely touching yours before he pulled back. he waited for you to react, nervous that he had ruined everything, until you kissed him back, hands tangling in his messy blue and purple hair. jeff’s hands rested on your hips as he returned the kiss, smiling against your lips, before you separated.
“okay, maybe something could change the friendship slightly; but in a good way,” you smiled, and jeff bumped his forehead against yours softly, before laying back against the pillow, pulling you with him.
“i love you,” he said for the second time that night, perhaps meaning it a little differently now.
“i love you too,” you replied.
“say that again,” he breathed, squeezing you tighter.
“i love you.” jeff smiled as you kissed the underside of his jaw softly, and he turned off the lamp on the bedside table as you tangled your legs together under the blankets. jeff’s hand slid beneath the hem of your shirt slightly, drawing little shapes gently on the skin of your back as you both drifted off to sleep.

But I love him || Jeff Hardy x Reader
Summary: Your dad is not happy when he catches you and Jeff kissing in the Hardy Boyz's locker room.
Tumblr media
The air in the Hardy Boyz' locker room was charged with a blend of emotions. Jeff Hardy, the charismatic enigma, and you, Vince McMahon's daughter, had been harboring a secret love for some time now. Your heart raced whenever you were near him, and today, your connection had reached a pivotal point.
As the door to the locker room closed, Jeff moved closer, his piercing eyes locked onto yours. You were drawn to him like a moth to a flame. The anticipation was palpable, and with a shared look, you both surrendered to the inevitable.
Your lips met his in a passionate kiss, a connection that had been growing between you two. The world outside seemed to fade as you got lost in each other.
But the tranquility was short-lived.
In a whirl of chaos, the door burst open, and there stood your father, Vince McMahon, a livid expression on his face. His booming voice cut through the room.
"What in the hell is going on here?!"
Startled and disoriented, you and Jeff broke apart, guilt and fear washing over you. Your father's presence was imposing, his temper evident in the rigid lines of his face and the fiery look in his eyes.
He stormed into the room, his voice raised in anger. "You, young lady, should know better. Kissing a wrestler in his locker room! Have you lost your mind?"
You struggled to find words, to justify the intense emotions you felt for Jeff, but your father wasn't in a mood to listen.
"But I love him! I don't care!" you finally protested, your voice cracking with desperation.
Vince's anger didn't waver, but he appeared taken aback by your defiant response. He had expected compliance, not resistance. Still, his concern was clear as he addressed you.
"Love? You don't know what love is," he retorted, exasperated. "This is not about love. It's about you rebelling against me, making rash decisions that could damage your reputation and the company's. This... infatuation with Jeff Hardy is over."
The room hung heavy with tension as your father ordered you to leave with him. He didn't give you a chance to respond, forcefully pulling you away from Jeff and leading you out of the locker room.
As you left, Jeff's voice called after you, filled with desperation and love, "We'll get through this baby, no matter what!"
But for now, you were caught in the whirlwind of your father's disapproval, your heart aching with the knowledge that your love for Jeff Hardy had just taken an unprecedented hit.

AGAIN I HOPE I DID THIS RIGHT
Wheeler Yuta (Face Kisses-To Him)
Tumblr media
WITH HIS SCRUFF THIS IS SO CUTE
With these kisses, I feel like y’all love cheek kisses
He would look so content and fulfilled after the kisses
To Yuta, it’s so intimate and just feels acceptable everywhere to him
Personally, I think he would love it if you squished his cheeks together (with one hand) and then kissed him on both cheeks
Also, this would be a pre-match routine
Would literally refuse to go out there until he gets his kisses (he’s a brat)
“Where are thy kisses?” (With a fake lisp)
Darby Allin (Forehead Kisses-To You and Him)
Tumblr media
OKAY OKAY HEAR ME OUT
He likes the forehead kisses on a particular side of his face (don’t fight me)
I feel like he would tell you to kiss him on the side without facepaint on (so it doesn’t get on you or it doesn’t mess up)
“No, no, the right side! Don’t switch up on me!”
He would kiss you on the forehead because it was the closest body part to him
Also, it’s because he can do it anywhere without it being awkward (like Yuta)
I think he would love you giving him forehead kisses cause it’s like comfort to him
As soon as you kiss his forehead (especially after a match), he feels rewarded and that everything is alright
Ethan Page (Lips Kisses-To You)
Tumblr media
MAN HAS A NICE SMILE
Will just kiss you out of nowhere
Will kiss you at any place, any time
The type of person who will grab your face and squish your cheeks together
His mustache and facial hair tickle your face
He is not afraid of PDA (in fact, he encourages it)
“I want a kiss right now. And if you don’t give me one, Imma throw a fit like a toddler right now”
Will bend down to tease you and receive his kisses
Ricky Starks (Neck Kisses-To You and Him)
Tumblr media
THIS MAN WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME-
He LOVES to give you kisses on the neck cause he thinks it’s sexy
It’s one of those kisses that feels intimate yet playful at the same time
Will leave marks on you so get your makeup/scarf ready
Loves it when you kiss his neck and leave lipstick stains on him (if you wear lipstick, lip stain, or lipgloss)
It makes him feel like “the man” and loved/desired (ESPECIALLY ON THE NAPE OF HIS NECK OR RIGHT UNDER HIS JAW)
Will not wash it off for segments and says “You all wish you had a sexy ass partner like me”
Kenny Omega (Arm Kisses-To You and Him)
Tumblr media
THAT MAN HAS SOME NICE ASS ARMS LEMME TELL YOU
He’ll kiss your arms/shoulders cause he thinks it’s cute
ESPECIALLY WHEN HIS HEAD IS LEANING ON YOU OR WHEN YALL ARE CUDDLING
Within that moment, he will tell you “I love you”
And you? You kiss his arms not because you want to be cute…but so you can bite him (lovingly ofc)
He would walk out to the ring with a bite mark on his arm and just say “Y/N wanted a snack. So they bit me.”
But honestly, I think you would kiss his arms cause you were already holding hands and you wanted to show your man more love
And to bite him again…
Hook (Hand Kisses-To You)
Tumblr media
I WANT HIS HANDS IN MORE WAYS THAN-
Ahem, anyways; I don’t think Hook like obvious or obnoxious PDA, but more subtle signs of it
So while you guys are holding hands, he will bring your hand up and kiss it
To him, it’s an intimate way of showing how much he loves you
I also think your hands would be his favorite feature on you besides your personality
He likes the size difference between your hands
DEF will kiss all your knuckles when just staring at your hands
“I love your hands, they’re so delicate. Imagine them with a ring on your finger.”
Eddie Kingston (Torso Kisses-To You)
Tumblr media
Listen, I will protect Eddie Kingston with my life (sorry for yelling at ya earlier)
Now this man will save all his kisses until you two are completely alone
Loves to lay with you, with his face either near or on your stomach
Will kiss your chest and stomach as he notices that this is a spot that you might be insecure about
He kisses your torso to show that he loves you and your “flaws” (ya’ll aint got none so move right along)
“Doll, you are perfect to me and I dare you to say otherwise”
Does not kiss your ribs as last time, you accidentally elbowed him in the eye
Jeff Hardy (Leg Kisses-To You)
Tumblr media
MY DARLING MAKES A RETURN
Man has no problems with PDA (in fact he thrives on it) But he saves his favorite kisses to give behind closed doors (THIS MAN IS A PLEASER)
Loves to give you foot rubs and in the midst will kiss your calves and thighs (AGAIN THIS MAN IS A PLEASER AND YALL CANNOT TELL ME DIFFERENT)
Does not care if you shave/wax your legs or not
Will watch TV in between your legs and kiss them periodically
When you ask him why he kisses your legs, he’ll just say “They’re just so beautiful to me darling”
As long as you got legs, Jeff will kiss them

18+, Jeff Hardy x Fem!Reader one shot
[Also available on Archive of Our Own!]
Word count: ~3.2k
Tags: flirting, oral sex (female receiving), condomless sex, cheating (reader is cheating on her boyfriend w/ Jeff), slight angst, reader’s boyfriend is an asshole lmao
Summary:
Jeff Hardy finally makes his move on you after seeing how badly your boyfriend treats you.
"No, I'm through with this back and forth shit you keep putting me through! I'd rather you leave instead of cheating on me all the damn time."
Your flip phone felt hot against your ear. Or maybe it was your ear that felt hot against your phone? Your mind buzzed with irrelevant thoughts. Anything popped into your mind to keep you distracted from your boyfriend jabbering away on the other end. He was being mean again and starting to yell. His voice sounded tinny over the little speaker and made you have to pull the phone away from your ear.
"Call me back when you wanna act like an adult!" You slammed your phone shut and clomped away from the dark corner you hid yourself in for the call. Your boyfriend was a referee when he bothered showing up for work. It was incredibly embarrassing to have him no-show. Your ambition bothered him enough to make him put his own job at risk for you to look bad. Tonight he didn't show again and Vince McMahon decided to blame you. He screamed in your face for a few minutes before leaving you with hot tears flooding your eyes.
You hated crying in public.
Deep down within you, you knew it wasn't a sign of weakness to cry in front of others. If anything, it could be strong. Letting your feelings go when they couldn't be held in any longer, damn the consequences or reactions was a very powerful act… for everyone else. For yourself? It made you a crybaby. A weakling. A little kid. Those thoughts playing on a loop in your head certainly didn't help your emotional state.
Unrolling the thin toilet paper from the arena's bathroom stall, you delicately patted your tears away from your face. The last thing you wanted to do at that moment was look at yourself in the mirror, but you knew your heavy eye makeup would be smudged. Luckily you'd already done your job as valet for the night so the fans didn't have to see you with raccoon eyes and a streaky foundation face. It was almost worse to have the other wrestlers see you like this instead. At least with the fans you could pretend.
The deep breath that filled your lungs and poofed out of your body with relief grounded you much more than you expected. No more tears. You had to push your personal life to the side for the time being. You faced the sink's mirror and carefully tried to salvage what was left of your makeup. It was a hatchet job you had to admit but nothing a little eyeliner and powder couldn't fix. The thin heels of your strappy sandals click-clacked on the tile floor, each sound filling you with confidence. Both hands pushed the bathroom door open with more pizzazz than necessary. Fuck it! Fake it 'til you make it.
"Quite an exit, darlin'. Or an entrance, maybe?"
Your hand shot up to your chest as you gasped.
"Jesus, Jeff! You scared the shit out of me."
Jeff Hardy was standing by the door of the bathrooms looking very relaxed. He'd been trying his best to not to hover around you since you'd debuted earlier in the year. It was getting harder and harder to stay away though. The one thing that always drove him crazy about you was the smell of your perfume. It was some kind of fancy, expensive scent that seemed like it was created just for you. It wafted in the air whenever you walked by. With you standing so close to him now, chest heaving and eye makeup a mess, the scent was even stronger.
"Sorry, my bad." He chuckled as you began to calm down. You figured if anyone had to see you in this state at least it was Jeff. The past few months you two had flirted with each other casually. A quick wave here and there or a playfully amorous compliment were shared between you two. It never went any further because of your relationship with your boyfriend. Jeff had met him and didn't have too high of an opinion of the man. He ran around acting like a big shot all the time. He tried to make himself the star of the matches. Sometimes Jeff wondered why he hadn't been fired yet. After hearing the tail end of your heated phone call with him it all made sense. You wouldn't let him get fired. No matter how much of a jerk this guy was, you cared about him and didn't want to be the reason he got let go.
Your glossy lips fixed themselves into a pout for a split second. They settled into a slight frown as the sudden burst of energy you had went pop . You didn't have to be "on" with Jeff. As the weeks passed you came to appreciate that about him. His light eyes searched your face and watched the little changes in your expression. You seemed to want to speak up.
"I must look crazy, huh?" You laughed at yourself in a self-defeating kind of way.
"Even if you did, I wouldn't tell you." Jeff moved closer to you. There was a great comfort in that closeness you two shared. It was nice to revel in it after such an upsetting conversation. "What's goin' on?"
"It's just my boyfriend. He's so stupid sometimes! He's got a great job here. A lot of people would kill to do what he does, you know? And what does he do instead of showing up like he's supposed to? He--" You didn't want to admit the last part aloud. He cheats on me. It made you feel like a failure even though it wasn't your fault. You shook your head, not able to complete the sentence. It hung in the air awkwardly.
"I hope you don't mind me sayin' this… but that man of yours is an asshole." Jeff's strong southern accent was always so endearing to you. You felt a little guilty getting turned on by it as often as you did. It was hard not to though, the sweet and occasionally sexually-charged words surrounded in his voice worming into your brain.
Your laugh twinkled around you and your eyes lit up at Jeff, happy to have been distracted by his presence. Without thinking you leaned into him to kiss his cheek, strands of his purple hair brushing by you. Tingles spread through your entire body at the contact. Jeff got overwhelmed at your gloss smudging against his cheek, the scent of your perfume wrapping around him, and your chest rubbing just the slightest against his. It took a lot of restraint to not pull you away into the nearest empty room and put his face between your thighs. Your boyfriend was now not just a nuisance but also an obstacle.
The kiss, as chaste as it was, turned your mood completely around. You broke away from Jeff and gasped.
"What do I have to do to get you to leave him?"
"Jeff--"
"I'm serious. I'll do anything."
"That's sweet of you. Really, it is. There's nothing you can do though."
"Nothin' at all?" Jeff's fingers began to play with the bottom edge of your shirt, the pads gently touching your skin. He reached under the fabric to caress your lower back. The fabric of his mesh shirt scratched a bit at you. His lips played against your neck, light kisses making your head swirl. His body was so warm, so warm that you thought you'd pass out right there.
You knew you needed to speak up and stop this. It wasn't right! You know how you felt when you caught your boyfriend in bed with other women. The way your heart dropped out of your chest every time made you feel guilty about the way Jeff touched you now. But did your boyfriend ever stop to consider your feelings? Did he ever stand up for you? Everything you did for him and he never even said thank you. A soft moan shook you from your thoughts.
"What the fuck is this?"
Your boyfriend seemed to appear from the ether. He stumbled in with his referee uniform wrinkled and a wild look in his eyes. Jeff pulled away from your neck with an excruciating amount of patience. Just as soon as he had you where he wanted you this guy showed up. You got wet at the look of anger on his face. Nervous too, hoping and praying this wouldn't turn into a brawl.
"What does it look like?"
"Jeff!" You breathed, surprised.
"I've been so sick of you, dude. You've been trying to fuck her for a while now and you finally caught her."
"Don't you have somethin' better to do like skipping out on work and fucking ring rats?"
Oh God, you thought. Alarm bells sounded off in your head. As nice as it was to be defended like this you didn't want to cause trouble.
Your boyfriend's wild gaze moved to you. His sweaty face moved into yours with shifty eyes assessing you deeply. With the way he was breathing you thought he was on the verge of a heart attack.
"Now you're telling all of our business. To him." His rough grip on your arm shocked you.
Just as soon as you began to worry about how close he was, his grip was released from you abruptly. A loud slam against the wall knocked the wind out of the sweaty man. Your eyes widened at the sight of him slumped against the floor. Jeff rammed him into the wall faster than you could blink.
"Don't you ever grab her like that again." Jeff growled into your boyfriend's face. He roughly pushed the man over onto his side.
You were at a loss for words. Your eyelids blinked continuously, tears once again welling up in you. This time though it wasn't from anger or sadness. Jeff's physical display of defense for you made you happier than you imagined. Your boyfriend looked pathetic lying on the floor. It finally began to click that he was a weak excuse of a man. Jeff had been around to support you like your boyfriend should have been doing this whole time. Jeff was more caring than your boyfriend had ever been and the two of you barely knew each other. Jeff's face contorted at the sight of your tears. He knew he shouldn't have handled your boyfriend like that.
"Honey, I'm sorry for that. I hope you're not too upset with me. I can call the doctor around for him." Jeff waved away the man on the floor.
"Upset?" Your bewilderment at yourself was rising. How could you be upset? "Jeff… I'm in awe. You did that for me."
"You deserve it. He doesn't know what a prize he's got." No longer angry, Jeff stared at you with an undeniable amount of lust in his eyes.
"Stay with me tonight." You returned his look. "I need you to stay with me tonight."
Jeff nodded his head. A production assistant broke the moment up by tapping him on the shoulder, not sparing more than a second at the slumped man on the floor.
"You're on in five, Jeff."
He let himself get pulled away from you, turning his head behind him to catch another long look at you.
---
The ride up in the hotel elevator was dead silent. The sexual charge between you and Jeff was palpable. The two of you stood side by side with each other, fingers almost touching more than once. Your emotions came and went in waves. Bouncing between guilt, anger, happiness, being horny, embarrassment was getting to be a little much. Jeff on the other hand had one thing on his mind. His eyes roamed along your body as you fidgeted around. The ding of the elevator made you rush forward and leave him behind. You so anxiously wanted to unlock your room door and let him have his way with you.
You frantically unlocked the door. Jeff's erection pressed into your backside impatiently. Your brain whited out at the feeling of it. It had been a long time since a man had displayed such powerful feelings towards you that you had forgotten what it was like. To be wanted so strongly could be scary.
The door clicked open. The both of you almost fell on the floor with the way you rushed in. Frantic hands roamed all over your body. For Jeff, feeling every inch of you was his dream come true. You pushed him off of you with little force.
"Close your eyes."
Jeff didn't hesitate, lids shutting closed in an instant. Him listening to you so easily turned you on even further. There were no big arguments with him. You stripped out of what little clothing you wore. The thin fabric of your shirt hit the floor first and was followed up by your tight shorts and lace bra. You left on your lacy underwear as a surprise for him.
"Open 'em."
Jeff's eyes shot open and stayed wide at the sight of you. You were gorgeous. He knew this already of course, but seeing you in all of your glory in front of him reaffirmed it. He approached you slowly. There was a deliberate attempt at trying to restrain himself. You appreciated that. A part of you wanted to scream at him that it was okay, it was okay if he just ripped your panties off and took you right there. Instead though you took advantage of having a man be so patient with you.
Jeff's arms wrapped around your waist. He pushed you down onto the bed gently to lay his head against your stomach. For a second he rested there to take you all in. The motions of your breathing both calmed him down and made him harder. His face being so close against you again was out of this world. He hadn't even done anything to you yet and you were on the verge of coming.
Your fingers tangled into his brightly dyed hair. The way he styled himself was so cool to you. The first time you ever spoke to him was to compliment his facial hair, some intricately patterned affair that was different whenever you saw him. He played it cool at your words. After you had disappeared from him though, he wore his brother down singing your praises. You'd finally talked to him and the first thing you'd said was a compliment. From that moment on he decided that he'd get you one day.
While you had gotten lost in your mind Jeff had pulled your panties down from you. You were open to him now. Your legs spread apart easily at his touch and your heart pumped a million miles a minute the closer his face moved into you. Those light eyes looked up at you the entire time his tongue began to move around you. Just with the simple movements of his tongue slowly licking up your outer lips you moaned more loudly than you had in years. Man, were you deprived. Humming noises escaped your mouth as he kissed your inner thighs before moving to your clit. Your fingers clenched more tightly than you expected at the roots of his hair as his tongue swirled anxiously around you. Your eyes shot around your head looking for a spot to rest your vision on the ceiling above you. They finally tired themselves out and your lids shut.
A deep pressure began to build below your stomach. It had been a long time since you'd felt it. Being fully engulfed between you, the scent and wetness of you taking over every sense of him made Jeff dig his nails into your hips and push your body further into his face. Your own fingers clenched the covers beneath you. Jeff's hand released itself from your hips and grabbed at one of your hands. The two of you interlocked fingers as he took you through one of the most intense orgasms you'd ever felt. Stars danced at the edge of your vision. Your voice called his name out over and over.
"Oh my God," You couldn't stop repeating yourself. Those three words just couldn't help but to keep falling out of you. Jeff pushed his pants off and threw his shirt on the floor. He was so handsome in the throes of lust. You breathed deeply at the feeling of him pressing his body weight against you. You returned his earlier favor of his lips against your neck by pressing yours against his. There was an all encompassing hunger that took you over now and it made you want to mark him up. You wanted everyone to know that you were with him. He could sense this feeling from you and let you leave a deep hickey on his neck. You nipped a bit at him when he entered you with a slow thrust. As badly as he wanted to push into you with his full length, he paced himself. The two of you had the whole night.
"Oh darlin'," He whispered in your ear. "I've been waitin' for you."
You were filled to the hilt. Something primal was gathering up in you. You wanted to scream at feeling this good. It wasn't fair that this is what you had been missing out on. You kept your eyes shut for fear of overstimulation. The feeling of your walls being massaged so perfectly was incredible. You whimpered with every thrust and the slow pace of him. You knew his eyes were staring a hole through your head but you just couldn't bring yourself to open them.
"Open your eyes for me. Please," His words came out so sweet that you instantly focused on him. It was hard to deny him. There were no regrets at opening them up. He began to move at a quicker pace from seeing you locked on to him. Your eyes shut again for a moment at the sensation. Jeff was bringing you to your peak again.
His own orgasm was approaching him too. The feel of your body against his, the way you responded to him, the inevitably dark hickey you left on him were getting him close. You were finally his and he was finally yours. The noises the two of you made were obscene. Your arms wrapped around his back and pressed him as close to you. Being pressed so deeply into the bed felt like floating on cloud nine.
As soon as it became too much to bear, you snapped. A crashing wave of pleasure overtook you. Your breathing was labored as every muscle in your body tightened and released. The stars from earlier now fully prickled your vision. The only thing you saw above you were Jeff's own eyes among the stars. Jeff's released inside of you as soon as you came, his chest heaving against you. Something inside you was elated that he didn't pull out. He let himself cover your insides fully.
Together you began to breathe in sync. Jeff collapsed on top of you and then rolled over onto his back to stare up at the ceiling. You were heaven on earth for him. Your hand rested on his chest to feel his heartbeat. It was beginning to slow down. His eyelids were droopy.
"I can--" Jeff yawned. "Stay here? Tonight?"
"Yes," you whispered. "Stay with me."

Jeff Hardy x reader where he finds someone who is extreme just like him
2 EXTREME 4 the EXTREME
The crowd was silent, buzzing with anticipation. Y/N could hear a scream of their name over the barricade, a hand coming out in front of them from the spot on the cold, concrete floor. Their opponent was laid out on the flattened announcers’ table, a referee screaming out to the count of ten from all the way inside the ring. Y/N squeezed their eyes shut, the taste of blood filling their mouth, the thick liquid dripping down from a forehead wound in reminder of the injuries they faced from the past actions of throwing the other person and themselves through the now broken table placed inside one of the ring's corners. The ref was at 7 now. Their eyes shut again, lids crinkling in force.
“Come on. Gotta get up, come on.” Y/N whispered to themselves but their body still refused to move. The plush, red barricade behind them rattled as fans hit against it in a way to show their love. It seemed to be even brighter when they opened their eyes once again, the stadium cheering a little louder while they stumbled to their feet. They looked down at their opponent as the ref counted to 8 before turning to face the ring and lazily diving under the bottom rope and coming back out again, forcing the ref to restart his count.
“ONE!” Y/N fell onto their knees, pulling the fabric on the sides of the ring up, pulling out the only table remaining. The crowd yelled, Y/N’s own adrenaline meshing with theirs.
“TWO!” The ref moved to face the announcers table, now only speaking to one instead of both wrestlers. They pushed the table into the ring, looking back over to their rival who seemed to finally be waking. A sigh left their mouth, moving quickly to set up the flimsy piece of wood, before finally taking a few lung-filling breaths.
“THREE!” They continued in simply breathing, before becoming sick of waiting and turned to their combatant, watching as JR tried bad mouthing them back into the ring.
“Come on!” Their opponents attention was ripped away from JR and now moved to the form standing in the ring. “You fuckin scared now? Come on, get in the goddamn ring!” The ref only reached five before they jumped back into the ring and ran right into a suplex, Y/N throwing their body through the second table.
“ONE, TWO, THREE!” The crowd counted along with the ref and erupted into cheers as Y/N jumped up, celebrating their victory before limping over to the ramp trying not to look too injured. The curtain into the gorilla was pulled back, revealing whoevers match was next and plenty of staff, along with Lita who had been waiting for Y/N’s match to finish. Lita rushed over to the exhausted superstar with an icepack, much more concerned for their well being than they seemed to be.
“Oh my god, I love you so much, Lita.” Y/N let their gratitude be known as they took the ice pack and sat in an uncomfortable steel chair in order to hold it against their back.
“I really don’t know how you do all of this stuff, like I get that its fun to jump around every once in a while, but every single second of every single match? Really, Y/N, I don’t think you’ll be able to bend over by the time you’re thirty!” It was nice to have someone worried, but Y/N wasn’t really listening to Lita as their frustration grew, the chair causing the ice pack to keep sliding down their back. Instead of holding it up, they flopped onto the ground, the icepack perfectly on their lower back.
“Get off the goddamn floor! God, I love you but no wonder why Matt’s always so stressed all the time,” Y/N was new to WWE, recently coming from Big Japan Wrestling, known for their extreme antics that even stuck out in a very extreme company. Now, in a much bigger company with fewer high-flyers and risk takers, it was easy to gain attention from the fans and the love of the only other person in the women's division with a somewhat similar style.
“That boyfriend of yours? What the hells he got to do with me?” Although they got along very well with Lita, Y/N didn’t really talk to very many other people so they weren’t too familiar with the Hardyz.
“You totally act like Jeff! And don’t say you don’t know who that is cause I see you staring at him all the time.”
“That's definitely not true at all.” Before Lita could argue back to the obvious lie, Y/N made her concentrate on something else. “Speaking of, here comes your boy.” Lita rolled her eyes but turned around.
“Lita, I would really appreciate it if you would tell Jeff that there is no need for him to do a Swanton tonight and then another one off a goddamn ladder on Heat.” Matt spoke with a tension filled tone in his voice while he pointed back to the younger man behind him who scoffed at the accusation.
“Jeff, you should not do that.” Lita repeated what he had definitely already heard, Matt turning to face him with an “i-told-you-so” expression.
“Personally, I think that’d be pretty sick.” Y/N spoke, looking up at the brothers from their spot on the floor. Lita looked down with the look a scolding mother would give, Jeff breaking out into a grin at their agreement.
“Why are you on the floor, Y/N?” Matt asked in confusion.
“Cause my back hurts.” They spoke as if it were obvious with a shrug.
“I told you it works.” Jeff spoke from his brother's side, earning a very hard side-eye. “I’m Jeff by the way. I watched your match, it was really great! Y’know, I was thinking, um, we’ve got a pretty similar style, would you maybe wanna bounce some ideas off of each other or something?” Jeff’s grin widened at the sight of Y/N’s as they bashfully took his praise.
“Well, I think I’ve got a concussion right now, but in the future, I think that would be very nice.”
“You weren’t looking at him, huh?” Lita interrupted the pair moment, her eyebrows raised in amusement.
“Shut up, Lita!”

Thou Shall Not Touch What is Mine
Paring: Jeff Hardy x Gn!Reader
Fandom: Wwe
Request: Yes, by anon
Summary: Jeff gets jealous about someone talking and touching HIS baby.
Prompt: #15 "I don't fucking care. You're supposed to be mine."
Note: This takes place in the late 90s/early 2000s it fits best with people's characters. The reader is also Christian's younger sibling. There's a twist towards the end
Tumblr media
Jeff was not one to be anything but nice to people. It's how he was raised to be. However, those feelings flew out the window when it happened. What is it? Well, "it" is when he sees someone touching and talking to HIS baby in a way he knows is meant to be flirty or so he thinks.
Now, who's Jeff's baby? Well, that's simple baby Cage aka you. You were called baby Cage due to being the younger sibling of one Christian Cage. Anyways you are the most important person to Jeff. You are his best achievement. He never thought he'd get you to date him when you are more attractive and way out of his range, at least those were his words. Of course, that was something you and Jeff would argue about when brought up since neither of you could agree.
You have never seen Jeff get jealous so you believed he wasn't the kind of person that got jealous but that changed. To you, the conversation you were having with Edge was normal and common for your friendship but Jeff didn't know this. Jeff thought Edge was flirting with you. How? by the sly smirk on Edge's face and the way, his hand was resting on your arm.
This made Jeff feel something he hasn't felt in a long time. Jealousy. Let's just say jealous Jeff is actually likely to fight someone. Now Jeff tried to stay calm. He watched you and Edge, well more Edge than you. The glare on his face was obvious to anyone who could see.
Now Jeff could walk over to you and Edge and make it clear that you two are together but there's one small problem with that. You and Jeff hadn't gone public so he couldn't. Except Jeff had a plan. Once better than just going over to you. Let's just say Jeff's plan was definitely going to get him yelled at by you.
Jeff walked to the gorilla and told the people there to play his music. They knew something was going to happen so they did. Jeff went out and straight to the ring and gestured for a mic. Once he got one he looked around for a minute before starting a rant about certain things. One of those was people flirting with you but he didn't directly mention you. Regardless of his feelings, he was going to try his hardest and keep the relationship private.
Matt and Christian ran to where you and Edge were once they saw what Jeff was doing. Matt was the first one to say anything. He didn't say much just "Jeff is in the ring, go stop him before he says too much." Christian grabbed Edge and pulled him out of earshot so they could talk, but that was not important.
Just like Jeff, you quickly went to the gorilla and told them to play your music but you didn't even wait. Once you walked out from backstage you immediately ran to the ring. The announcers and the fans were confused about what was going on. The first thing you say since coming out was "Jeff what is this all about?" Jeff wanted to say the truth but knew if he did then he was going to be in a lot of trouble. Jeff thought about what to say and decided to just say fuck it and deal with getting yelled at back stage.
Jeff was about to answer a lot of questions just by saying what he has been thinking. Jeff looks you directly in the eyes, the anger and jealousy being clear in his, and said "I don't fucking care. You're supposed to be mine." It all made sense now. Jeff was ranting about Edge being flirty with you and his anger about the situation with saying any names, the fans also figured this out. Looks like the cat is out of the bag.
Before you could say anything Edge and Christian came out with smiles that looked like they belong to Chester the cat. Jeff was confused but you knew what was about to happen. Edge was the first to say anything but it was directed to Christian "Well, would you look at that? Our plan worked." Christian nodded and turned his attention to you and Jeff.
"Little sib, did you really think you and him were doing a good job at hiding your relationship? Well, dear sib it was very obvious to anyone with a brain and two eyes. Maybe next time don't stare and drool over each other every time you're in a room filled with people." It was clear by his smile it was meant in a teasing way.
The two waved then turned and went backstage leaving you and a very embarrassed Jeff in the ring. You quickly got Jeff's attention and then rushed up the ramp and backstage. Jeff refused to look anywhere but at the floor. Of course, waiting behind the curtain were Christian and Edge looking at you and Jeff.
This time Christian spoke "I don't care that you two are together, I just would appreciate being told that my little sib is in a relationship with someone I trust. Just don't make me regret it Hardy." Jeff finally looked up and at Christian "I won't. I don't plan on doing anything to hurt them." That made Christian and told him what he needed to know.
Edge and Christian shared a look, silently communicating about something. At times like this, you believed they could communicate telepathically, but less than a minute later Edge looked at Jeff and shocked him "Oh by the way you don't have to worry about me taking little Cage from you. I've had my eye on a different cage for a while now and that isn't going to change."
With that Christian and Edge turned and headed for their locker room. Jeff looked at you and summed up his and your feelings "Don't get me wrong your brother and Edge are cool but I think they did go a little crazy". You had to agree with him. You and Jeff just decided to spend the rest of the day relaxing after explaining a little about the situation that happened in the ring, but at the end of the day everyone was happy and that's what mattered.

Rekindling Hearts
Tumblr media
Jeff found himself gazing at YN from a distance backstage, lost in memories of their time together. His thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of Lita, a fellow WWE superstar and YN's good friend. Lita, with her perceptive nature, sensed the longing in Jeff's eyes.
Approaching Jeff with a knowing smile, Lita spoke softly, "You still care about her, don't you?"
Jeff's heart skipped a beat as he looked at Lita, surprised by her insight. "What do you mean?" he asked cautiously.
Lita chuckled, her eyes filled with understanding. "I can tell, Jeff. Just like I can tell that YN still feels the same way about you."
Jeff's brows furrowed in confusion. "How can you be so sure?"
"Loving someone leaves a mark on your heart that time can't erase," Lita explained. "YN's eyes light up when she talks about you. She might not admit it, but I've seen it."
Jeff's mind raced as he absorbed Lita's words. He had never stopped caring for YN, and now, knowing that the feelings might be mutual, his heart began to race with a mixture of hope and uncertainty.
As the days went by, Jeff and YN found themselves sharing moments backstage. A simple smile here, a fleeting glance there – small gestures that carried the weight of their shared history. They began to reminisce about the times when their love was the center of their worlds, before the adrenaline of the ring took over.
One evening, as the sun set behind the arena, Jeff mustered the courage to confront YN. "Can we talk?" he asked, his voice a mix of nerves and longing.
YN looked at him, her eyes softening. "Sure, Jeff."
They found a quiet corner away from the bustling backstage area, and Jeff took a deep breath. "Lita told me something," he began, his gaze locked on YN's.
YN raised an eyebrow curiously. "Oh? And what's that?"
"She told me that you might still have feelings for me," Jeff admitted, his vulnerability on display.
YN's cheeks flushed slightly, but she didn't shy away from his gaze. "And what do you think?"
Jeff took a step closer, his heart pounding. "I think... I still care about you too. More than I ever realized."
Tears shimmered in YN's eyes as she reached out to touch his hand. "Jeff, our love might have taken a backseat to our careers, but it never truly went away."
As they held each other's gaze, the weight of their shared history and unspoken emotions hung in the air. The wrestling arena around them seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in that tender moment.
Later that night the arena was buzzing with anticipation as YN YLN stepped into the ring to face off against Stacy Keibler. The crowd roared with excitement, the energy palpable in the air. YN was determined to prove herself not just as a former love interest of Jeff Hardy, but as a formidable wrestler in her own right.
As the match began, YN and Stacy locked up, showcasing their agility and strength. YN's determination was evident in her every move, her eyes locked onto her opponent. The match swung back and forth, each woman displaying her unique skills and signature moves.
At ringside, Test stood with a calculating expression, his gaze fixed on the action in the ring. YN's dominance was becoming increasingly clear, as she managed to counter Stacy's moves with precision and grace. The crowd's cheers grew louder with every successful maneuver she executed.
However, as YN gained the upper hand, Test's patience seemed to wear thin. He could hardly believe that YN was outclassing Stacy so thoroughly. Unbeknownst to the referee, Test seized an opportunity when YN had Stacy in a submission hold. He reached over the ropes and pulled YN off of Stacy, causing the crowd to erupt in boos and jeers.
YN was visibly shocked and frustrated by this interference. She glared at Test, her expression a mix of anger and disbelief. The referee began to admonish Test, but the damage had been done. Stacy took advantage of the distraction, quickly recovering and launching herself at YN.
Just as Stacy was about to capitalize on the situation, a familiar theme song echoed throughout the arena. The crowd's cheers turned into a deafening roar as Jeff Hardy sprinted down the ramp, his eyes locked on Test. Jeff's face was a mix of determination and fury, fueled by the sight of Test interfering in YN's match.
Test turned his attention away from the ring just in time to see Jeff's furious onslaught. Jeff's fists were a blur as he pummeled Test, the impact of each blow sending a clear message: interfering in YN's match was not going to go unpunished.
Meanwhile, YN had recovered from the shock of Test's interference and was back on her feet. With a renewed fire in her eyes, she turned her focus back to Stacy. YN unleashed a flurry of powerful moves, her determination evident in every strike and grapple. The crowd rallied behind her, their cheers fueling her energy.
Back at ringside, Jeff's rage had not subsided. He continued to rain down blows on Test, his anger and protectiveness over YN propelling his actions. The chaos at ringside and the intensity in the ring created a whirlwind of excitement that had the entire arena on its feet.
With Jeff's help, YN managed to regain control of the match. She executed her signature move, the with impeccable precision. The impact resonated through the ring as she covered Stacy for the pinfall. The referee's hand slapped the mat three times, signaling YN's victory.
The arena erupted in cheers as YN's hand was raised in triumph. She shared a triumphant smile with Jeff, their unspoken connection stronger than ever. As they stood side by side, the message was clear: their bond, forged through love and shared passion, was unbreakable.
In the aftermath of the match, Test retreated up the ramp, nursing his wounds, while YN and Jeff shared a celebratory embrace in the ring. The WWE Universe had witnessed not only an exhilarating match, but a powerful display of loyalty, love, and the resilience of two individuals who had found their way back to each other, both in the ring and in their hearts.
As the adrenaline from the intense match began to subside, YN and Jeff found themselves catching their breath in the middle of the ring. The deafening cheers of the WWE Universe surrounded them, a testament to the electrifying spectacle they had just delivered.
YN turned to Jeff, a grateful smile on her face. "Jeff, I can't thank you enough for coming out there and having my back. That was incredible."
Jeff grinned back at her, his eyes shining with a mixture of pride and affection. "Hey, anything for you, YNN. We've always had each other's backs, right?"
YN nodded, her heart racing for more reasons than just the match. "Yeah, we have."
There was a brief pause, a moment charged with unspoken emotions. Then, Jeff took a step closer to YN, his voice gentle. "You know, YNN, it's been a while since we've spent time together outside of the ring."
YN's heart skipped a beat, her curiosity piqued. "What are you suggesting, Jeff?"
A mischievous glint danced in Jeff's eyes as he took a deep breath. "Well, how about we break tradition and go out on a date? Just like old times?"
YN felt her cheeks flush with surprise and excitement. Jeff was right – it had been years since they had shared a moment outside the ring. And the idea of spending time with him, without the pressures of the WWE, was incredibly appealing.
A smile tugged at the corners of YN's lips. "I think that's a fantastic idea, Jeff."
Jeff's grin widened, and he took a step even closer. "Great. How about tomorrow night? I know this cozy little restaurant that's perfect for catching up."
YN's heart raced as she met Jeff's gaze, her answer clear in her eyes. "Tomorrow night sounds perfect."
The tension between them was palpable, a mix of nostalgia, attraction, and a renewed connection. And in that moment, neither of them could deny the feelings that had been simmering beneath the surface for so long.
Without hesitation, Jeff leaned in, his lips brushing softly against YN's. The kiss was tender, a sweet blend of familiarity and newfound emotion. It felt like a promise, a confirmation of the sparks that had never truly faded between them.
When they finally pulled away, YN's heart was racing, her cheeks flushed. Jeff smiled at her, his thumb brushing gently against her cheek. "I can't wait for tomorrow night, YNN."
"Me neither," she replied, her voice soft but filled with anticipation.
As they made their way out of the ring, hand in hand, the cheers of the WWE Universe followed them. When they disappeared into the backstage area, their intertwined fingers spoke volumes about the connection they shared. The wrestling world was full of drama and intensity, but in that moment, all that mattered was the promise of a new beginning – a chance for Jeff and YN to explore the love that had never truly faded, even after all these years.

“And for the Wyatt Family.” I stared directly into the camera, rolling my eyes and giving a scoff. “Nothing and I mean nothing will get in my way when I win the Raw Women’s Championship this Sunday at Survivor Series.” I smirked. “Not even you smelly barn yard animals.” Hearing the crowd roar from backstage, I couldn’t help but to break character and give a slight smirk.
“And that’s a wrap.” The camera man said right after the red dot disappeared. Him and another crew member gathered the cables to take another shot of someone else’s segment in another area of the arena.
“That was great, Nicole.” Charly smiled, handing the microphone to the crew member passing by. “I’m rooting on you winning the title from Asuka.”
“Thanks, Charly.” I laughed. Being great friends with Asuka outside of the ring made our storyline better. Asuka and I practice in and out of the ring, we discuss our matches together and see what we could do better for the both of us.
“Oh, I think a certain Hardy is trying to get your attention.” Charly giggled, eyeing behind me. Turning my head, I saw Jeff Hardy waving at me with a bright smile. I quickly looked away, a blush painted on my cheeks. “I think he likes you.” She softly spoke but still loud enough for people around to hear.
“Shh!” I hissed out. I felt my cheeks becoming hotter from her words. “Don’t say that out loud!”
Laughing, Charly turned her heels about to walk away. “I’ll see you around, Nicole!” She then left, heading to her next interview.
“That was a great promo you shot.” I jumped slightly hearing a country accent.
“Thank you.” I smiled as Jeff circled around and sat on a crate beside me. Fresh paint covering his face. I always loved the white, black and purple colors designs on his face. My eyes skimmed over his face, I soaked in his look. His dark hair pulled back into a bun, both sides of his head cleanly shaved as if he just walked out of the barber. His gauges were slightly bigger, he must have just recently moved down in size. His beard was trimmed and shaped in the cool shapes like he usually does.
Hearing him clear his throat, I quickly snapped out of my haze and swallowed nervously, scared he caught me staring. “I like your face paint tonight.” I squeaked out, trying to come up with something so it wasn’t obvious that I was daydreaming about him.
“Why thank you.” Jeff smiled. “I’m trying a new brand so it won’t come off as easily while I wrestle.” His thick accent made wrestle sound like ‘wrastle’. “Anyways, I really hope you win this Sunday.” Jeff had his hands on his muscular thighs as he sat.
I fiddled with my fingers, my stomach tightening. “Thanks Jeff.” Was really all I could say, too scared to say anything else just in case I said something ridiculous.
“Ya know I’m going to be in your corner that night, right?” Jeff acknowledged the fact.
“Really?” I asked, my eyes sparkling with excitement.
“Of course! You’re my partner and we gotta stick together! I want to be the first person you hug once you win that gold!” Jeff exclaimed. Ever since Matt left the WWE and went to AEW, Jeff was lonely here on the opposite wrestling company. Seeing a amidiant change in his mood along with his personality. Jumping into action I spoke with Jeff every Monday during Raw, we even started to travel everywhere together and when we weren’t together we text nonstop, talking for hours. We immediately became friends.
I started to get text from a number I didn’t recognize, the person greeting themselves as Matt, Jeff’s older brother. Matt appreciated me going out of my way to make sure Jeff didn’t go on a binge because Matt left him. I was scared that Jeff would relapse and spiral out of control. Being in each other's corners was beneficial for both of us. Me being there for Jeff so he won’t hit the bottle or any illegal things and Jeff was there for me as a vet and keeping out of trouble. Jeff was a great friend and a perfect mentor even though my feelings were growing stronger and stronger towards him each and every day, I managed to keep things professional even though other close friends wanted me to make a move.
Watching Jeff on the television as a teenager made me daydream and fantasize about becoming a wrestler, he was the one who made me want to drive myself to become one. I’d get judged at school for having an alcoholic and drug abuser as a role model. Becoming friends with Jeff was a dream come true.
“So what do you say?” Jeff asked, giving me a small smile.
“I- I’m sorry, what?” I blinked, I didn’t realize I was so caught up in my own thoughts that he was speaking to me.
He cleared his throat, rubbing his hand against his opposite shoulder. “I uh, I was wondering if you’d want to go eat out after your match this Sunday?”
Jeff Hardy, my teenhood crush wanted to take me out for dinner the night I might win the title? Trying to keep myself in check, I ran my fingers through my hair. “Dinner sounds nice, Jeff.” I smiled at him. Checking the time on my phone I nearly forgot my flight. “Oh geez, I’m going to be late for my flight again.” I groaned.
“Well, let's get your stuff and rush to the airport.” Jeff hopped down from the crate, pulling out his car keys.
Throughout the week Jeff was on my mind. Constantly cleaning or trying to do other things other than just text Jeff. I needed a clear mind going into Survivor Series. Laying in bed, I looked through my social media even texting Auska the details I had in mind about our match. Clicking on Instagram I checked what pictures I was tagged in. I smiled widely as a fan tagged me and Jeff in a photo that I’ve never seen. The pros about paparazzi was they can get great pictures. Cons, they can sometimes get terrible pictures and still post them on social media without a care that others will make fun.
My eyes cast down at the status. ‘I think Nicole and Jeff would make the cutest couple!’ I smiled at the complement. I wondered if this was true, Jeff was years older than me, so I wasn’t sure if we’d get gross looks because of the age difference. The biggest question was; did he like me more than a friend?
Huffing out a sigh, I locked my phone and tossed it to the night stand and slowly fell asleep.
Tumblr media
Standing by the gorilla, my focus was on the television, the camera pointed at Jeff sitting at the commentating table along with Michael, Byron and Corey. Jeff smiled widely and waved at the camera leanse. I smiled at the gesture, knowing it was for me. Seeing Jeff smile settled my nerves. “After this match I’ll be having dinner with Jeff.” I mumbled to myself.
“Dinner with Jeff!?” I heard someone yell.
Quickly turning around, Auska had a big smile on her lips, her green makeup around her eyes. “S- Shh, shh.”  I looked around making sure nobody was listening. “Yes, Jeff asked me out to dinner after our match but please don’t tell anyone.” I begged, I didn’t know if this was just a friendly dinner or something more.
The smaller woman rushed up to me, wrapped her arms around me, and gave me a large hug. I hugged her back. “I promise I won’t tell.” Asuka nodded. Hearing her theme hit, Asuka pulled away. “I’ll see you out there, champ.” She winked and rushed out behind the curtain.
Groaning loudly as Auska kicked me in the stomach I kneeled down. The lights beaming down on me was making me sweat more than the activities I was doing in the ring. “Oh, what a rough kick to Nicole!” Michael Cole announced. “I don’t think your partner is doing so hot out there, Jeff.” He added on.
“Trust me Cole, she’s doing great in the ring. Better than you’ll ever be.” Jeff smirked, trying to act as if he wasn’t on the edge of his seat. He was worried that I got hurt, his eyes darting around the ring as Auska and I ran the ropes soon colliding into each other.
Bouncing off of the ropes, running towards Auska I shoulder tackled her, plastering her on the mat. Rushing towards the turnbuckle I quickly climbed to the third one and striked a pose. Photographers and fans quickly snapped photos of me before I splashed on top of Auska. A grunt escaped her lips, as I quickly pinned her I whispered; “Are you okay?”
The ref slammed his hand down on the mat. “One!”
“Yes, I’m fine. Great match.” She spoke, I nearly missed what she said as the ref slammed his hand for the third time.
The bell rang loudly as I crawled off of Auska. “Here’s your winner! Nicole!” The crowd roared and screamed. As I was on my knees, panting the ref handed me the Raw Women’s Championship and raised my left hand. Looking over to my left I saw Jeff standing and clapping loudly with a smile on his face.
“And what’s this? It’s- It’s Bray Wyatt with a chair!”
I didn’t even notice anyone behind me as I was distracted by Jeff who was now in a panic. “Look out!” He yelled, pointing behind me.
I arched my eyebrow, slowly looking behind me to see what Jeff was trying to warn me about. My eyes widened at the sight of Bray Wyatt raising a chair and it coming down. The impact of the chair hitting the side of my head echoed throughout the arena. Dropping the title, I slumped onto the ring, seeing darkness.
All I heard was Bray speaking into the mic. “I warned you Hardy, I told you if you wouldn’t  join me and my family and if you don’t, people close to you are going to get hurt!” He let out a sinister laugh.
“Holy shit, Nicole!” Jeff slid into the ring, holding me close. “Where are the medics!?” Jeff screamed at the ref.
Sitting in the trainer's room, I held an ice pack to the back of my head. “How in the hell did you take a chair shot and not split open!” Jeff exclaimed, trying to examine my head making sure there was no blood.
“Well, you know, being with the company for a decade, you pick up a few things kid.” I said in a teasing manner and gave Jeff a wink.
“Sure you have.” Jeff smiled but his face soon turned serious. “But you’re sure you’re okay?” He asked with a concerning look on his face.
“Yes, come on Hardy the doctors even cleared me.” I reminded him.
“I don’t really trust these doctors.” Jeff grumbled. “We should probably take you to the hospital.”
“No! No. Jeff really, I’m fine.” I smiled, taking the ice pack off of my head and sat it next to me. I really didn’t want to miss this date Jeff and I were about to have.
He squinted at me, studying me hard. “Hmm, if you say so.” He sighed. “But if your head hurts and your eyes are sensitive to the light you let me know asap and we will go to the hospital.”
“Okay.”
“No, no ‘okay’, Nicole I’m being for real. This is dangerous. I need you to promise me.”
Huffing, I nodded. “Okay, I pinky promise Jeff that I’ll tell you.” I held out my pink and he wrapped his pinky around mine. Sliding off of the table, I tried not to show that my head was spinning. “Let me shower real quick and I’ll be out.” I smiled.
Jeff nodded. “I’ll be waiting.”
With that I left for the women’s locker room. Thankful that no one was in the room, I started to strip. Tossing my ring gear into my bag I walked towards the showers. Turning it on I hummed as the warm water hot my face. I leaned forward, resting my head against the cool tile. Only to hiss out slightly as it throbbed my head.
Opening my eyes I grunted as the water was now cold. Quickly shutting off the water I wrapped a towel around my body and went to my bag. Grabbing my phone my eyes widened as I saw that it was 11:45 PM. “What the fuck?” I mumbled, not realizing I must have knocked out in the shower. I saw text messages from family members congratulating me on my win. I saw one from Jeff wondering if I was okay. I quickly text back saying ‘getting dressed now’.’
Quickly drying off I threw on clean clothes and stuffed my things in my bag and rushed out of the locker room to see Jeff leaning against the wall with a frown. “Jesus, Nicole are you okay? You’ve been in there for a while.”
“Hey, girl likes her showers.” She tried to laugh off the suspiciousness.
“Okay, well let's go.” Jeff grabbed my bag and slung it over his shoulders.
“I know this isn’t what you thought for dinner.” Jeff blushed as we sat across from each other. McDonalds in front of us. “No other restaurants were open.”
“It’s my fault, I showered too long.” I shrugged, grabbing a french fry and placing it in my mouth. I squinted slightly as the lights above hurt my eyes.
“Nicole, are you sure you’re okay?” Jeff asked, taking a sip from his drink.
“Yeah, yeah I’m totally fine.” I waved my hand, trying to ignore the throbbing in the back of my head. “Just tired.” I grumbled, my eyes slowly shutting.
“Well, I really wanted to tell you something, Nicole. I was hoping it was at a more romantic place but I can’t keep these feelings to myself anymore-” He stopped talking as he noticed my eyes were shut. “Nicole?” I became slumped in the seat, darkness consuming me again.
Tumblr media
Hearing heartbeat monitors beeping, my eyes slowly fluttered open. I was laying in bed, covers tucked me tightly. I was in a white room with an IV stuck in my vein and wires connected to me. “What the fu-”
“Nicole?” Jeff’s head quickly snapped up, I looked his way.
“What happened?” I groaned, holding my slightly less throbbing head.
“You passed out while we were having dinner.” Jeff frowned. “You promised me, why didn’t you tell me?”
“I’m scared of doctors.” I lied.
Jeff gave me a ‘really’ face, not buying it. “Nicole.”
Sighing, I rubbed my tired eyes. “I… I didn’t want to mess up our dinner plans. I didn’t want to postpone it because of my head.”
“Nicole, your health is the number one on my list.” Jeff held my hand. “I wouldn’t have known what to do if this concussion hurt you more than it did.”
“What did the doctor say anyways?” I asked, slightly sitting up more in the bed.
“Well, the IV is in you because you were dehydrated and they also put some medication in for the pain in your head. Other than that it was a concussion from the chair shot. They said you won’t be able to wrestle for two week.”
I frowned, looking over to my left to see the red title in the chair. “Don’t worry about the title, Nicole. You’re still the champion, they’re not going to take that away from you because you have a minor injury, they’ll have you cut some amazing promos but nothing in the ring.”
Sighing, I nodded knowing to trust Jeff. “When can I leave?”
“In a few hours, so when the sun is up.”
I looked over at the clock, it was three in the morning. I huffed out a sigh. “I really do hate hospitals.” I gave a shy smile.
Jeff laughed. “I know, I do too.”
“So, about dinner?”
Jeff’s tongue grazed across his bottom lip, running his fingers through his dark hair. “Well, darlin’” Jeff nibbled on the bottom of his lip. “I just wanted to tell you we’ve both been there for each other and I know I shouldn’t mix business and personal life together but I can’t ignore these feelings anymore, Nicole.” Jeff’s eyes shined as he looked at me.
My heart was picking up on each word he spoke. “I know what you mean?” I said softly, cupping the side of his face. The heart monitor is now picking up the pace.
He leaned into my touch. “Seeing you black out in the middle of the ring, it really scared me Nicole.” He tried to hold back the tears.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. It’s just a concussion.” I reminded him. “I’ll heal.”
Jeff sniffed. “What I’m trying to say here, Nicole is will you go out with me?”
I smiled widely as he asked me out. “I’d love to be your girlfriend, Jeff.”
Years down the road, Jeff and I got married, bought a house in the country and had a few animals.
“Jeff?” I asked, walking around the large house. Finding him in the office he was working on his computer.
“Yes baby?” He hummed, clicking and typing a few emails.
“I have a surprise for you.” I giggled, handing him a small box. I placed it in front of him.
Jeff eyed me carefully. “Nothing is going to pop out, right?” He grabbed the box, shaking it lightly.
“I promise, no please just open it.” I begged, holding up my camera as I clicked ‘record’.
Jeff gave a playful glare towards the camera, grabbing the lid and slowly opened it revealing a stick. “Surprise, daddy.” I giggled.
His eyes widened at the positive pregnancy test. “You’re- You’re pregnant?” Jeff quickly stood up. I smiled, nodding my head.
“You’re going to be a dad!” I laughed. Jeff quickly wrapped me up in a hug.
“Our little family is finally growing.” He nuzzled his head against mine. Cupping his beard cheeks I gave him a passionate kiss on the lips.

ೃ༄ TAP OUT (christian cage x reader)
Tumblr media
ೃ༄ pairing: christian cage x fem!reader (ft. brother!edge)
ೃ༄ requested by: anon
Hi! Is there anyway I can request a Christian x Female!Reader one shot? Maybe she’s Adam’s younger sister and Christian’s girlfriend and she’s teaming with them against the Hardy’s and Lita and she ends up seriously injured and the boys are there with her the whole time taking care of her? Fluffy and angsty if possible please?
ೃ༄ warnings: light swearing, mentions of injury, inconsistent use of christian/jay and edge/adam
ೃ༄ word count: 2.1k
ೃ༄ note: hi anon!! i hope this is similar to what you wanted <3 i got off track with the hurt/comfort elements and the connection with jay hehe <3
Tumblr media
the shout of the crowd was always the most exhilarating part of a match. standing against the turnbuckles, a perfect mirror image of lita on the other side of the ring, listening as your team partners worked the crowd from the ropes either side of you. it was your favourite part of the group you worked with, the dynamic which had your partners being the ones to act as your hype men, leaving you to revel in the energy before kicking off every match you began. it worked, and the crowd loved it, even if your positions were meant to be that of heel. it was hard to deny your popularity — no matter how much vince tried to push for the opposite.
if you glanced to your left, you’d see the man you loved bouncing so elegantly off of the mixed reaction from the crowd. it was hard to not spend your time staring at him, to keep your focus on intimidating the opponent when he just looked so good. but it was always worth it when you got the win.
even now, as christian jumped down from the middle rope, taking his place by your side and wasting no time in pressing his lips against yours, ignited by a holler of cheers from the crowd. they always ate up every moment the two of you showed your relationship on stage — and when they found out that relationship extended beyond storylines? well, your popularity skyrocketed.
what made it even more perfect was the perfect play from edge, rolling his eyes as he joined you by your right side. it was perfect really, the idea that your big brother hated your relationship but fought alongside you for the sake off the team — when in reality, adam loved the two of you together. sure, backstage his jokes never ceased, and you were more than often third wheeling with jay and adam as opposed to the other way around, but the in ring reactions he always had just added to your determination to prove yourself as a power couple.
the hardy siblings took their place by lita, jeff, unbeknownst to the crowd, sending a wink your way. and then the match was set.
the referee took his place, and amongst the crowd’s screams you could hear edge’s whisper of ‘let’s kick some ass’, coupled by one last squeeze of your hand from your boyfriend to your other side, before he launched into his signature pendulum kick to defend from matt hardy’s oncoming attack.
it was only up from there, elbow body shots all around, coupled with more than exhilarating special abilities you weren’t even aware your opponents had. no amount of fight calls could prepare you for some of the moves lita pulled on you, but you were always prepared with reversals when you got the chance. behind every move you could feel the crowd’s cheering thrumming in your veins, pushing you to get out of any compromising position to turn it around with your own abilities. you even attempted your brothers signature spear, knowing he’d rip you for it after the match.
at one point, christian managed to get jeff hardy with his killswitch, but the man, as planned, kicked out at the last second.
then, it all went wrong.
vaguely, you could see the hardy boyz and high impact battling it out in a series of moves you couldn’t pinpoint, as you were focused on defending yourself against lita’s own high power attacks.
as she went to performance her signature moonsault, the plan called for you to reverse her mid air, but as her body collided with yours, the sudden, piercing pain in your leg caused for you both to go tumbling to the floor. you hit the surface harder than expected, lita’s weight on top of you an added pressure as something twinged in all the wrong ways. she knew immediately what had happened, and quicker than expected the woman was playing it off but wasting no time in leaning down to whisper in your ear.
“you okay?” she questioned in the privacy of just the both of you, face positioned in the crowds blind spot.
you nodded, expecting to be able to walk it off. as you rose to continue with the planned moves, the pain in your leg became unbearable, and before you had even stood to full attention, you were back down on the surface of the ring.
this time, lita wasn’t the only one to turn her attention to you. previously engaged in their own personal battles, christian was the first to react, immediately giving some sort of signal to his currently one of the brothers so that he could attend to your side. edge held up appearances, taking on both of the hardy brothers but you were sure they were all watching you from the side.
christian’s hands were on your waist, momentarily dulling the spiking pain from below your waist. “y/n? you okay?”
you went to nod your head, halt your boyfriends worries before they began, but the pain returned tenfold and all you could manage was a pained yell as you gripped at one of his forearms weaker than before. christian knew immediately, his unoccupied hand raising to your cheek as he tried shallowly to comfort you between pulses of pain. there were some words exchanged between him and lita, sounds you couldn’t quite make out amongst the ache, and then the referee was signalling with crossed arms for a time out.
finally, amongst keeping up appearances, your brother rushed to your side, no longer occupied by the hardy siblings. he was behind christian, just as worried but without knowing where you were hurt, not wanting to touch incase of causing further harm. christian was vaguely saying something to him in the background, but his hands were just as grounding before.
from the side of the ring, you could see the medics appear through the ropes, and even as they pushed everyone away, christian remained by your side.
somewhere in your peripheral, lita was explaining what happened to the medical professionals, but all you could focus on was your boyfriends soft whispers, shrouded by anxiety.
“can you move? can you sit up?” before you could even answer, christian was peppering you with concern again “you haven’t hurt your back right? shit — if you’ve hurt your back—“
you squeezed his arm before he could panic anymore. “i’m okay. my backs fine it’s just— my leg— i think i tore something—“
there was a gentle hand in your hair, brushing back strands whilst you lay until the medics shifted your leg, and you couldn’t help the guttural scream that left your throat. you were suddenly being shifted, your leg in the air as they put some strap to provide pressure, the pain unbearable until your head was being moved too. whilst they iced your muscle down the best they could, christian had moved until your head was placed gently on his thighs. hands caressing your hair and whatever inch of you he could reach in a pale but appreciated nonetheless.
“jay—“ you whined weakly, reaching your hand as far as it could go to tap his thigh. he was there on instant, tangling your fingers together and bringing his lips down to press a kiss to your knuckles. you could hear a cheer at the action, some concerned, some maybe convinced it was all part of it, but all you cared about right now was keeping your attention on christian. “it hurts.”
“i know. i know baby.” and he did better than anyone. you had been there by his side through more than one injury, and now it seemed it was time for him to do the same. one of the medics said something to him, and then christian was turning his attention back to you. “can you get up, sweetheart? i’ll help you.”
your attempt to nod was muffled by the awkward position you were in, but then christian was moving from under you until he could firmly grab at both of your hands. you tried to place your uninjured foot to pull you up, but it was to little avail, having to rely on your boyfriends strength alone to get you standing. the second you were back on your feet (or foot, considering your current predicament), edge was back by your side, and the boys took their positions under each of your arms.
a firm, yet caring hand on your bare stomach drew your attention to you brother.
“you still with us, champ?” he joked, pulling a weak smile of you as the two men helped you through the ropes.
you barely remembered the journey backstage, too busy thinking about the repercussions of whatever you had pulled — or worse, torn. but there was no need to worry about that now when your boys were on either side, attentive as ever to every need.
it brought you back to the time you received your first injury, nothing more than a dislocated shoulder shortly after your debut.
christian and you weren’t together back then, but it was certainly the beginning of something. you remembered sitting in the hospital, way past visiting hours, with a worried adam to your side, hand tightly gripping yours. jay was there too, refusing to leave despite his lack of full association to you. it was the first moment you realised how deeply he cared for you.
it was all very deja vu now, except this time, it was jay holding your hand in the medical room, with adam pacing back and forth like a mad man whilst you waited to be attended to. he was, if you even glanced for a moment, furious.
ignoring adam’s internal plight, jay lowered his voice, skin still clammy from adrenaline, but warn as you leant into him. “you were a beast out there, injury or not.” he emphasised his words with a kiss to your temple, pulling the briefest of smiles out of your anxious self.
“what happens now?” you whispered, the turmoil evident as ever in your voice. jay could only shrug, pressing another soft kiss to your temple before you adjusted your position so you could press your lips against his.
“whatever happens, we’ll be with you every step of the way, okay?” he rested his forehead against yours, revelling in the moment until the sound of your brother’s pacing pulled him out of the moment “adam, you ass, you’re worrying her more.”
adam turned to his best friend, fury evident on his face but features relaxing the moment you sent him a sympathetic look. “i’m just pissed, they should have been more prepared for something like this in such a high stakes match.”
“no one can predict it,” you empathised, leaning into jay’s side as you spoke “nothing was botched, i just clearly had my leg in the wrong position.”
“still! why is no one here attending to you? if you’ve torn your acl and they’re off gallivanting around—“
“adam.” jay spoke sternly, his hand not holding yours outstretched in a pause symbol.
glancing between the two of you, the harsh lines on adam’s forehead didn’t disappear until you outstretched your unoccupied arm to him. you could see the moment he battled with the internal angel and devil, before his face softened and he stepped towards you, taking your hand tightly in both of his and placing an extended kiss to the available skin.
you let yourself relax for a moment, head lolling against jay’s shoulder whilst your brother crouched down in front of you. your leg was still strapped from foot to thigh, no one wanting to take any chances, but you tried just for a moment to ignore what was to come and revel in the moment with your fellow company.
adam was in deep thought, allowing you just a moment of reprise in which you turned your head up to see jay already looking down at you. his brow was creased in concern, and you couldn’t help but release his hand to run your thumb along his temple, smoothing out the lines that had appeared. despite the circumstances, he offered you a soft smile.
“no matter what happens, i’m proud of you, you know that?” he spoke quietly, leaning into your touch as your hand rested against his cheek.
“i know.” you whispered in response. amongst everything, one thing you would never doubt was jay’s care for you, and the pride the man carried whenever he saw you in action. “i’ll be okay right?”
jay glanced in adam’s direction. you weren’t sure if the older of the two was looking, but there was an understanding that flashed across your boyfriends eyes before he turned back to face you. “as long as we’ve got each other, right?”
you smiled, lifting your lips to his in another soft kiss. “as long as we’ve got each other.”

Hey bestie, it’s been a while!! I hope your well💗 I saw requests were open and this idea came to me after watching some old segments. Could you do a love triangle between reader, trish stratus, and Jeff Hardy?☺️
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hey bestieee im doing well!!! it's been a while indeed :). hope you're doing well too! so sorry this took a while! BUT THIS REQUEST...i can't explain how good this sounds LMAO I WAS LIKE “AHHHH—“...i may have gotten a little out of hand with the sadness on this one? i also kinda based it off this chart , with jeff as A, reader as B, trish as C. reader’s feelings for trish are conflicting and she kinda doesn’t think they’re real, therefore this is very jeff centered. and also kayfabe compliant lol
you guys can have an imagine..as a treat :3 alexa, pls set the tone for us *lights dim dramatically*
Tumblr media
YOU FELT SUFFOCATED whenever they were around. You hate Jeff. You hate Trish. You hate both of them. You hate how close they are and you wish they could never see each other again....but sometimes wishes can’t be granted.
Tumblr media
"Trish Stratus..she's just horrible, isn't she?"
Victoria’s voice comes from behind you. She sets a neatly manicured hand onto your right shoulder and leans into your ear. “I mean, just look at them.”
You didn’t want to look and she realizes this. Her hand reaches over to grab your face to forcefully turn it in their direction.
They’re standing there, holding hands and talking to each other with the biggest smiles in the world.
“Doesn’t it just make you sick? They’re rubbing it in your face, [Name].” Victoria says. “If I were you, I’d take that pretty little face….and smash it right against the mat.”
You sigh.
Her words were clearly fueled by hate. This wasn’t advice, this was just because she hated Trish. You don’t think you’ll ever get the reason as to why. Even when you accidentally walked in on one of her meltdowns and she babbled to you about how horrible she was, you were still at a loss.
“Just because you have a vendetta against her doesn’t mean that I do. She’s my—“
“We can see it in your eyes!” Stevie Richards appears from out nowhere, startling you. You’re trying to do your makeup, goddamn it. Why’d they have to come and bother you?
You whip your head around to your right. Stevie’s staring at you with nothing but a grin. He sets his hand on your left shoulder and shakes it lightly.
“C’mon. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows you have a thing for that Hardy guy! Flower is right. I’m sure they make you sick!
Tch. Yeah, right. The only thing that everyone knows is that him and Trish were madly in love all of a sudden. And now that you think about it, the only thing that makes you sick was Stevie always calling Victoria that cheesy nickname.
“Hardy boy,” You correct. “And I don’t have a thing for him.”
You can see the reflection of the other two in the mirror. They’re not very convinced.
It’s not a thing. It never was a thing, you just think Jeff is pretty neat.
To put it in perspective, Jeff Hardy is someone you can rely on. Jeff Hardy is someone you can consider a hero. You really just think he’s neat for saving your neck a few times when it came to people ganging up on you.
And somehow, you feel like you owe him something in return. Him being with Trish only stalled your returning favor even further.
It’s driving you crazy. You haven’t talked to Jeff in days. All you do is avoid him. In other words, you’ve quit him, gone cold turkey.
Those two were getting closer and closer day by day and you just didn’t understand why.
Trish was your friend, best friend, and hadn’t even told you what was going on. The moment you heard the she kissed him right in the middle of the ring had made you really confused, to say the least.
Somehow, you felt yourself harboring some feelings for her as well. It was strange. You don’t really know why, but when Trish had started to tag with you, save you, (stating that she didn't want to see her friend in trouble), and hung around with you backstage, you started to think about her more often.
Things are difficult with her around. Things are difficult with the both of them around.
It’s the reason why you stopped talking to him and limited your interactions with her. This was for your own sanity, even if it wasn’t working out so well.
It truly is hard to believe you could find yourself in this situation.
Lita would constantly tell you how much Jeff missed you. For someone who was supposed to be “resting“and “healing up” because of her injury, she sure was hanging out backstage a lot more lately.
What makes matters worse is that her and Trish were best friends as well, so you’d occasionally hear her pass along messages. Ugh, you really wish she would stop telling you these things. It only makes you feel worse.
“I think you’re lying, [Name].” Victoria outright says. “You like him, no, love him. And seeing that plastic, fake, no good…” She has to stop herself from getting too wound up, taking a breath. “Seeing her makes you angry, doesn’t it?”
She’s right. You hate that she’s right. It does make you angry, but it makes you more sad than anything. You won’t admit it. You refuse.
“What makes me angry is the both of you trying to wind me up.” You throw your lip gloss to the ground. “Let me clarify. I do not and never will have a thing for Jeff Hardy!”
Perhaps your voice was louder than anticipated because suddenly, the hallway had gotten quiet. You had attracted unwanted attention, including looks from Trish and Jeff.
You take a deep breath. Victoria didn’t even know the whole story, so there’s no reason for you to act like this. As long as she hasn’t caught on about your thoughts about Trish, everything is fine and dandy.
Victoria only lets out a cackle, as does Stevie. They just couldn’t help it! The look on your face was just hilarious and you couldn’t have been anymore obvious with your true intentions about him.
Though you want to ask them what the hell was so funny, you realize there’s nothing you can do to save face, so you just storm off. You don’t think you can ever show your face backstage again after that.
The sound of footsteps behind you cause you to stop. “If the both of you are following me, I swear to god, I’ll—“
“It’s neither.” It’s Trish, all dressed up in her red ring gear. Her and Jeff were both dressed up, actually. “Were they bothering you? I can deal with them if you need.”
You wave your hand. “No, it’s no big deal.” In response, she gives you a smile, one that genuinely makes you feel sick.
There’s suddenly a strange tension in the room as Trish lifts up her hand to bite on her index fingernail. There are little details that you feel like you hadn’t noticed about her before in that moment, irrelevant as it was.
The way she curled her hair was different. Maybe it was the amount of lipgloss she applied, which seemed significantly noticeable.
The look on her face gives you the impression she’s not nervous at all, if anything, she seems a bit gleeful. “…So,” You feel like you already know what’s coming as she speaks up. “…I didn’t know you had a thing for Jeff…?”
There’s a teasing tone behind her voice, which makes you just want to quite literally leave the country and change your name. Dramatic, yes, but you feel like this is too much.
“Jeff is,” You have to pause for a minute, trying to phrase things carefully. “He’s cool. What brought you to that conclusion? I don’t have a thing for him..”
Trish probably couldn’t tell that you were in denial. “For one, your obvious yelling in the hallway. But if you say you don’t, I believe you.”
And speak of the devil, because he starts to come over to you two without a care in the world. He reaches out to hold Trish’s hand and you have to turn your attention anywhere but there.
“Hey, [Name].” Jeff greets. Honestly, he’s happy to see you. It’s been too long since you’ve spoken to him.
“Hi.” You come off bitter, but you do your best to mask any of it with a forced smile.
For some reason, Jeff feels like he’s over the moon, even if you had only greeted him. “How are you doing? Lita told me that you weren’t doing so well.“
“She’s not?” Trish turns over to look at you with a frown. “You aren’t? What’s wrong?”
Fucking Lita, again with this! This is exactly why you wish she’d just be quiet. You found yourself in a really awkward place because of her. “She’s wrong. I’m fine, like way fine.”
Jeff nods. On another note, he smelt like so much paint. If you looked closely enough, it was almost like it was fresh. You point this out in attempt to shift the topic. “You painted yourself again, huh? The colors are nice,”
The compliment you had given him about the colors had made him feel as if he was getting somewhere.
“Yeah. Sooner or later, I’ve gotta paint something on you. Pick any color and I’ll do it. Wherever you want.” He says. “You’re the canvas.”
Trish smiles. “He’s really good at it. But he’s also really good at getting it all over me..” She giggles, looking down at her hand.
There was definitely chemistry and you feel like you don’t belong. It pains you. “Hey, I just noticed. Do you two have a match tonight or something?”
“We do!” Trish chimes. “It’s funny you say that. It’s against Victoria and Stevie Richards. Don’t worry, we’ll kick their butt for you. Speaking of which, I think we have to go to gorilla. Let's go, Jeff.”
“Have a good match.” You wave. They both thank you and leave you be, but you can see them talking on their own as they head down the corridor.
You’re alone with your thoughts once more, that is until a sickeningly sweet voice had made you groan.
“Oh sweet, sweet [Name].” Victoria coos, reaching over to caress your cheek. You swipe her hand away and she laughs. “I think that was so rude. The audacity of him, right? Just showing up with her like that in front of you.”
You just stare at her.
She continues on, knowing that she’s got you right where she wants. “Now that you know we have a match against them...come with us.”
It sounds more like a command than a request and she’s smiling all the while. “Having them lose would make them feel like they’ve lost everything."
Is that really true? No, is that what you really want? You're hesitant. “I don’t know, it seems a little—“
She quickly cuts you off. “You can trust me, [Name]. We’re friends.”
Friends. You’ve heard that word a lot lately. But you feel as if you had no other choice, you had to trust Victoria. So, you end up following her to gorilla in hopes of getting what you want.
When it was your turn, commentary referred to you as something akin to a lost puppy. You were clearly hesitating, taking painfully slow steps down the ramp.
Stevie has to rush back to grab you by the arm and pull you down the ramp a bit faster, which makes you yelp. “Ow, ow, ow! You’re grabbing me too tight—!” He pays no mind to your complaint, instead presenting you to the duo in the ring as if you were a trophy.
Trish and Jeff were confused. Really confused. Why were you out here with them? The two pass whispers amongst each other while Stevie joins Victoria in the ring.
You can’t look them in the eye, so you try and focus on Stevie as he’s the one to start the match with Jeff. As soon as they lock up, you let out a shrill for Stevie.
It almost makes Jeff break it up, so Stevie quickly takes advantage and stiffs him a bit. You lean your head onto the apron. It's going to be a long one..
Tumblr media
So far, Victoria and Stevie weren’t doing too well. Trish and Jeff were completely dominating them and it makes you irritated. You want to help them out a bit. It’s Victoria and Trish in the ring while Jeff and Stevie were going at it outside.
Trish irish whips Victoria into the corner, and the latter brings up her knee to slam right into Trish’s face. As a rebound, Trish decides to hit the Stratusphere once Victoria starts to climb onto the top rope.
Alright, you can’t keep watching anymore. You absolutely have to interfere! Once she grabs her from off of the ground and starts heading towards the rope, you already know she’s about to do Stratusfaction.
In an attempt to stop her, you hop up onto the apron. The referee tries to stop you from getting in in the meanwhile. It’s clear that she hesitates coming towards your side, which gives Victoria enough time to try and reverse it into a Widow’s Peak.
Trish is able to maneuver her way back out of it though, much to your surprise. And instead of hesitating any further, she grabs Victoria by the back of her hair and uses you as leverage for her finisher. It hurt like hell once you hit the ground.
…Actually, you may have landed wrong. Almost immediately, a shot of pain had shot up your right leg, making you curl up and grab onto it. The crowd to let out a gasp.
‘[Name] falling off the apron, by god, that was a nasty fall!’ JR calls. ‘This may be bad news!’
On the other side of him, Jerry cries out. ‘Oh no! Come over here, [Name]! I’ll nurse it better!’
You don’t know what sucks more, the sound of the bell ringing along with Trish’s theme music or the fact you may have been injured. What if you’re taken off of TV? You feel like you’ll have to share your time off with Lita, who would probably drive you insane the entire time.
This is really bad. What starts to make it worse is that Stevie starts to stomp over to you. You can barely stand, which makes him yank you up harshly. He guided you over to the ring and pushed you in.
Now, you’ll have to answer to Victoria. As you try and use the ropes to get up, she stands over you, jabbing a finger in your face. “What the hell was that, [Name]?!”
“I was trying to help you!” It’s safe to say you’re afraid of Victoria right now. She's so unstable, you hated to be on her bad side. "I was!"
"We LOST!" She screams. "That bitch won! And it's all because of you! Guess what?! You're going to pay!"
Shit. Stevie grabs you and lifts you up, keeping you in a hold so that he’s got your arms hooked behind you. Victoria felt that she had no other choice but to punish you.
She reels her arm back in preparation. On instinct, you close your eyes.
…But nothing ever comes. You hear the crowd begin to cheer louder and you open your eyes to see that Trish had slid back into the ring and knocked her down. They move out of the ring, giving the other two enough space.
Of course, Jeff came back, easily maneuvering over to you and Stevie. He lets you go and you crash onto the ground, only able to watch them go at it.
Your leg was definitely busted. You can barely move! Luckily, the fight between the boys in the ring hadn’t last too long. Stevie rolls out of the ring to escape, while Jeff quickly comes over to you.
“Ya’ alright?”
"Besides my leg feeling like it's broken, sure, I'm alright." You sarcastically remark. He starts to walk and you try to hop along with him. “Dude, you’re going to have to slow down.”
“Sorry.” He quickly apologizes, slowing his speed so that you’re comfortable. You note that he’s not as harsh as Stevie was. He’s trying to guide you to the very edge of the ring.
…But he suddenly stops halfway before you get there. “What’re you doing?” You ask.
Jeff doesn’t reply.
Will he’ll regret this later? It didn’t matter. Before you can question him again, he reaches over to grab your face and brings you in for a quick kiss.
You don’t even know what to do. It was so fast, you didn’t even get the opportunity to decide whether you wanted to kiss back or not.
Perhaps it’s a random act of kindness. Maybe even an act of sympathy? You’re not even sure. You just look dumbfounded.
That’s the first time he’s ever done that. He goes back to helping you out of the ring without a word and you feel like it’s for the best.
Somehow, you have to fight the growing smile on your face, despite how much guilt may lie beneath.
Jeff Hardy is a strange individual, that’s for sure. But you know that he’ll always be a hero at the end of the day.
