Landon" has had a crush on his friend, Kara since she moved in next door to him a few years back. He was the guy who had helped her after her attack to overcome it. He let her sleep on his couch and would walk her back to reality after she had a nightmare. So when he finds out that she has a crush on someone who isn't him, he's very much hurt, but of course he doesn't show it. At first when Mr. Steven's comes to recruit him he's resistant, but then after realizing that this is what Kara wants to be happy, he agrees to help him through it. We can discuss specifics of what happens after later, but I think this would be really fun to play out.

So Mr. Stevens is someone that Kara has been relentlessly crushing on. He's handsome, successful, charismatic and everything she thinks she wants in a guy. Meanwhile, his intentions may be a little less "innocent." He was recently dumped and sets his sights on Kara to use her to make his ex jealous and more than likely win her back. He know he needs to make it look real which means he'll genuinely have to win her affections and to do that, he'll need to know her. Insert the guy above. Kara's best friend will be his way in. He'll offer to compensate the guy naturally, but he's more than likely not going to take it.

I have a 7th year Hufflepuff, Pureblooded, aged 17, from the beautiful lands of Japan. He’s arrived with his family to the UK for unapproved medical treatment for his sickly father. This one would take some finagling, but I’m looking for the whole, ‘arranged marriage that totally works’ plot. Our characters essentially have grown up together knowing they’d be betrothed. He is a very introverted, contemplative sort. As an empath he feels more than he lets on and he tends to stay in his head deciphering the sea of emotions around him.

He can be a teasing pain in the ass to your character. I’m thinking, trolling bf who has these random moments of utter sweetness to let you know he does care.

Since she’d need to be from Japan too, we’d need a reason for her to transfer to Hogwarts with him. I know it’s a little ehh in terms of likelihood but if we can suspend belief a little there, it can be a very cute ship.

Her personality and history are entirely open other than her needing to be a transfer to Hogwarts like him.

I’m imagining an almost back-and-forth kind of dynamic, like they may very well be interested in each other but neither very willing to admit it. Humor as a deflection to any sentimental moments/exchanges for sure, and a good bit of pranking to mess with each other.

A lot of teasing, a lot of unwillingness to be genuine maybe because they got into this serious thing when they were so young that they don't entirely know how else to act other than childishly. Being older now makes the marriage a lot realer, and the pressure could be on now to fulfill their families’ wishes with this union.

We could talk about family dynamics — maybe this is rival families finally calling a truce, or maybe this is an owed favor from long ago and one family is finally ‘cashing in’ for one reason or another. Or maybe they’re just Purebloods wanting to keep their lines pure.

I have some ideas on vibes & shared aesthetics for them here

Again, FC ought to be of Japanese descent, I’ve found a nifty list below as a resource but as long as the individual is Japanese I won’t mind who it is.

But this is sorta a call-out to check the tumblr rp community interest in a plot I’ve been craving to write.

Firstly, I’m requesting for someone to join a jcink forum rp to write this out. It is 18+, some of the more disturbing topics banned so it’s a pretty safe space, and I myself am 30 so I’m kinda looking for someone close to my age. Let’s say 25+ at least.

The genre is alternate universe Harry Potter, & just as a disclaimer: I do not support, endorse, or really even think of jkr. Her transphobic views are unspeakably damaging and indefensible. I started RP in this genre almost a decade ago and so it holds a unique place in my heart. I consider the community I’m in as a safe space that has ripped this world back to be used by any and all as they wish to; not just in the way this horrendous person meant for us to consume it.

With that said, here’s a few less serious things of note:

- site has no word count,

- two versions of a character app, neither very long & one offering a free form section to get creative with if you wanted

- very lax activity rules; it requires one post a month to be considered active

- since I’m requesting a professor character, I want to note that there are no requirements to hold classes. you’re free to if you want, but yeah it’s not required

I consider myself an intermediate-adv writer. I can write anywhere from 2 - 10 paragraphs depending on what’s going on. I adore headcanons, sharing Pinterest boards (& creating them for ships), and just generally gushing over our characters.

I’d like to chat a little one on one before I get to sharing the link to the forum, so we can test our chemistry since we’ll be writing a romance and er, tbh, I’ve had this plot burning a hole in my back pocket for literally years and I’ve only gotten to the very beginnings a few times. I’m really searching and hoping for someone who’ll be as engaged and willing to write this plot as I am, so before reaching out to me please do consider if you’ll have time for this.

At the very least, I just really, really would love to get far enough into the story that I could feel comfortable letting it go and putting it to rest finally if we don’t get to see it through… ^^’

That said I am an understanding and patient partner. My personal life can get very busy between a big family and rather social friends, so I totally get when life pulls you away from the rp. I’d just appreciate honest communication- If you get tired of the plot or bored or just can’t continue it because of reasons you DONT need to explain to me, I 100% will understand and will not hold it against you. I get it. No stress. And no expectations to come back to it, so trust that I will never bother or pester for anything.

The Basic Details: slow burn, reunited old flames; mutual pining, lots of fluff w/ a dash of angst. Age range 32-35, I’m looking for a female writer to create a blonde female witch to pair up with my wizard. Suggested fc is Sarah Gadon, but any blonde could work as long as it isn’t Tswift.

So it’s essentially a case of right person, wrong time, and the intention behind it is for them to end up together again after growing up, apart. They aren’t first loves or anything, but they are certainly as close to soulmates as anyone can get.

Sharing traits such as being perfectionists, bookish, having strong moral compasses, craving order and routine, they are wholly harmonious with the occasional bumps to keep things from reading too perfect. They met in an Apothecary - the requested female character working there and mine visiting often to purchase ingredients for work as he was under a potioneering apprenticeship after graduating from Hogwarts.

Mine is 35, and I was requesting an age as close to that as possible (if not the same) just to help keep timelines pretty close. If they’re the same age I could see them running in different circles at Hogwarts to keep them from being too close, as I’d like the beginnings of their bond to really start until their late teens, early 20s after meeting in that Apothecary. She could also have graduated from another European school, and just ended up working in this apothecary!

I’d like to keep a fair bit of it open so there’s totally room for more places where the characters diverge, but in essence my character has always sought out a peaceful, humble life, while the requested character came from some struggle or hardship and simply wanted to contribute to the world in some way.

In keeping with that, I was thinking she sought out a career that was either dangerous, such as Auror/Hit Witch, or possibly culturally impacting like a Curse-Breaker. To be honest I personally am leaning to requesting Auror/Hit Witch, but it is open!

Something happened to her in the course of her career that made her leave it. Maybe an injury, the loss of a colleague, maybe she found herself in some kind of trouble and being placed on nonnegotiable leave herself. Or, maybe it was just harder to enact change/contribute in the way a hopeful twenty-something had originally wanted and she just… got lost. Needed a break. Whatever the source, she’s ended up at Hogwarts to teach where she meets up with my character again.

& from there I just imagined my character being as smitten as when they first met, but he’s… hesitant. They hadn’t been in contact. Has no idea if she’s with someone or like, if she’d ever be into him again. I’m such a sucker for fluff so I was hoping she’d be equally as smitten in return but for the same or similar reasons, there’s a lot of hesitancy.

It is mutual pining to the max. There’s lots we can discuss as far as conflict / angst.

The classes available for claiming are pretty slim, I won’t lie. There’s been an influx of new people so, stuffs gotten taken. But Herbology is still free to claim, and I assume if she worked at an apothecary, she also has a passion for potion brewing they maybe comes from, or doubles as a love of plants and gardening.

Looking for Andrew Spider-Man for JCINK Spider Trio

Hello hello! Thanks for taking a look at our buddy request. The short and sweet of the story is that we’re two 30+ RP loving gals who happen to play Tom Holland (Ruby) and Tobey Maguire (me) Spider-Mans and we’re for Andrew Garfield Spidey to complete our trio on the panfandom JCINK site we run called, Between the Lines.

While *Spoilers* we LOOOOVE No Way Home, we don’t require that you pull him from it. Tobey Peter comes from directly after that movie, but our Tom Holland Spidey comes from around Endgame, before No Way Home. He has no idea what awaits him. Muhahaha!

  We're currently working our two Spider-Mans into the same city with a bit of Eddie Brock and Vee causing chaos in the middle. Tom Peter maaaaay currently be playing host to a certain alien made of black goo while Tobey Peter is reluctantly teaming up with the symbioteless Eddie to help his younger self and he could really use Andrew Spidey's help.

  As long as he's still his Amazing Spider-Man self, we’re pretty flexible on whether your Spidey knows about the other Spideys or if you want to add a bit of comic/previous iterations for flavor (my Tobey Spidey has a begrudging friendship with his universe’s Deadpool, he’s worked briefly with the X-Men), etc.

  Ruby also has a cinnamon bun of a murderer with Andrew’s face (FCs can be reused, yay multiverse!) and we’d love to see some wonderful chaos where people mistake Peter for Angel and freak out… because glorious IC drama. This totally isn’t required, though and definitely up to you on how you wanna roll.

  With that said, there are a few things we do want, both from the character and a writing partner in general.

The Character:

  Definitely still The Amazing Spider-Man, rather than a comic book Spidey with Andrew’s face.

Mid 20’s to mid 30’s

Near the end of his dark place after Gwen’s death, or through it.

Still his wonderful, quirky nerd of a self.

You as the writer:

  We’re pretty much always throwing ideas (and some IC chat) back and forth to test out headcanon babies. We’re definitely looking for a third buddy to gush, plot, and write with.

Rubes and I can be fairly speedy, but flexible posters. We have our own stuff going on from mental health to busy work schedules and that means we have our slow times like everyone else. But we’re also friends and we chat even when one of us can’t post for whatever reason. Someone who posts less than once a week on a regular basis or who just disappears off the face of the Earth when a real life moment hits probably isn’t going to work for us.

We consider ourselves fairly good writers with a decent grasp of grammar and creative writing (show don’t tell, etc). Ideally, you’d be the same. To clarify on this point, we don’t need you to be perfect. We definitely are not. But we do love to paint a picture.

We tend to write anywhere from 100 to 500+ words depending on our muses and would like the same in return.

We’re both in the EST timezone if that matters. It really doesn’t to us. We’re looking for a buddy and while it would be amazeballs to have someone up and chatting when we are, we’re in it for the friendship and the story, not the clock.

We’re also both over 30 and the board is 18+ for players. We're definitely looking for a mature, adult writing buddy regardless of the rating of the content we choose to create.

They are each others constant support and cheerleader. They are tied at the hip and constantly featured in each others content. Henley’s world is not being turned upside down because her dad has randomly gotten married and she doesn’t know how to handle it as it has always just been the two of them. Henley very much needs her friend to be that shoulder of support for her as she navigates through all of these crazy emotions. And look out when Henley finds out the new wife is pregnant and she is suddenly no longer an only child! Make the whole place shimmer - Looking for an ex/eventual again boyfriend for Henley. They had a situationship before, but he caught feelings. She is slow to come around to catching feelings herself however they still stayed in each others lives. They were still there for one another. Still showed up for each other. You know basically dating but Henley sure didn’t realize that is what was going on. Once she realizes it he will get to be ‘well finally you’ve figured it out’. They are each other’s biggest cheerleaders and fully support one another. He plays minor league hockey and she is an influencer who’s whole life is being shaken and boy does she need him and his calming stability right now. Blog Purpose:

This is just dedicated to hosting my role play wants & plots.

I am 30F and would prefer anyone interacting or seeking to write with me be at least 25+. I need someone who loves writing romance plots as much as I do, and who will be willing to chat and get to know each other outside of the RP.

I’d prefer fellow female writers, and while I don’t push for replies or activity, it would ideally be someone who can reply at least once or twice a week.

No-gos include:

- Large Age Gaps

- Non-con/rape

- Depictions of gore, body horror

- Incest, pedophilia, beastiality

- Animal Abuse/Death

- Domestic Violence, as in I will not write pairings where this occurs. If it’s in your character’s history that’s fine, but I will not write toxic relationships.

NSFW/Smut: I have never really gotten into smut, typically fading to black, but if we write an adult pairing and a situation is leading to sex, I am willing to write it.

I’ve been writing since high school so I MIGHT have a character here and there who is younger than 18. Should we write with them, your character must be of similar age, and absolutely no NSFW or smut for them. We could write pining of course, but age appropriate pining please.

Location of RP: I am specifically looking for someone who is willing to join a site I am already writing on. If we double or swap a plot, I am willing to join a site for you in return. Just please don’t link me to one with heavy lore or a very long application. Preferably the activity requirements would be low as well.

I only ask these things since the site I would be linking you to is similarly lax.

It is:

❥ 18+ Alternate Universe Harry Potter, present day

❥ 1 post a month

❥ 2 different options for character application, one more structured and basic and the other a little more open with a free form in place of a character history. Both are relatively short.

❥ Mid-high activity level from the community overall, but it is only 1 post a month so you can go as slow as you’d need.

TO START I would actually like to stick with 1x1 on a discord server, unless you’re someone wanting to see the site upfront to decide.

Please do not reach out if you only want to stick to 1x1.

I don’t have a set time when I’d prefer to move to forum writing between us but I tend to do better writing in the structure provided by most forums so long-term, let’s work towards that.

Short-term, I’m happy with 1x1 as we get to know each other and see how our writing compliments each other. I’m expecting any move to forums to be organic really, and for us to possibly continue with our server if you’re into it.

My Writing/Tropes:

I consider myself semi-lit to lit

I write anywhere from 2-8+ paragraphs, but moving the plot is more important to me so whether that’s long novella posts or more on the rapid fire route is fine as long as we get things going.

My plots here are typically romantic in nature, but I may include a sibling, found family, or best friend plot if I get around to it.

I write MxF and FxF pairings, myself in the male role about 90% of the time.

I’d be looking for a partner flexible enough to write one or two males for my straight female characters, but nothing beyond a rare pair here and there.

I only write Original Character x Original Character pairings.

Tropes I lean into are slow burn, mutual pining, healing together, second chances, first loves, childhood friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, soulmates, arranged marriage that works, dumbass x dumbass, strong women x male wives, opposites attract & fluff.

Very big on fluff with some angst. I can get behind drama as long as the ending is happy.

I enjoy making Pinterest boards together, sharing gifs, songs, art, & creating headcanons.

In general I love animation, video games, comedies and the occasional drama/dramedy. I’m afraid of this getting too rambly so if you’re interested in knowing more, please feel free to ask. ^^

my posting habits are quite flexible. i work and study so i don't have a lot of free time, but i try to match my partner in both post length & frequency. i can usually post 1-2 times a week and my word count can be anywhere from 400 to 1k, depends on muse.
