DIAMOND MEMORY: Natalie Chung shared the varied emotions she experienced choreographing for the first time for the National Dance Theatre Company | Reprinted from NDTC Journal Issue 1 — 2011
One of the most mind‐blowing experiences of my life was choreographing for the National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica’s 49th Season of Dance. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would have been given such a prestigious and honourable opportunity and what an experience it was.
Being a dancer with the National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC) since 1992 and growing  from stage to stage, getting lead roles and experiencing theatre and the world of drama, I learnt the art of escaping from reality and becoming a character in a story. I learnt about life on a stage and that space became my emotional release, my home.
Dance has always  been my passion, my true love, my strength, my everything. I got my dance experiences  from the School of Dance, Edna Manley College, and through many dance icons such as Barbara Requa, Bert Rose, Barry Moncrieffe, Clive Thompson, Tony Wilson, Adrian Fletcher, Milton Sterling, Duran Hylton, Jackie Guy, Charlene Hylton, Andrea Douglas  ‐ just  to name a few. I experimented with choreography from as far back as 12 years old when I did a full dance production called  “Images of Teens” at the Junior Department, Edna Manley School of Dance, which was quite successful.
Choreographing took some form for me when I had the experience of teaching at UWI Dance Society. There I  taught dance theatre ‐ performance skills, which is taking on different roles in dance, assuming characters and taking movement beyond what was given. It also gave me the chance of experimenting with ideas and  constructing those ideas into movement. There I choreographed a number of pieces, but again, nothing compared to the experience of choreography for my own dance company, NDTC.
It all began November 2010 when my dearest friend, Keita‐Marie Chamberlain who also dances with the Company, approached me and asked if I could choreograph for NDTC’s Young Choreographers' production for December of that year. Being a bit hesitant to the idea as fear started taking over, I considered for a few minutes and then gave in to the idea; I said “yes”, so I knew there was no turning back.
Thankfully, I had been toying with an idea for quite some time and finally the door was opened for me to explore it. It was the idea of love, relationships, tangled webs, a common theme, but I wanted to experiment with not just hurt from the immediate relationship, but how one pain could have a domino effect and the cycle of love, hurt and games continues regardless. I wanted it to be a narrative that everyone in the audience could understand and be able to relate to.
Hearing a piece of music at my friends’ home while liming ‐ Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts” ‐ and playing it over and over, made my idea come to life even more vividly and made me decide that this was definitely one of my songs for part of my story. Doing more research that day and finding the rest of my music created and gave birth to…The Thin Line. My idea was taking shape. I wrote it out like a script and had play writer Aston Cooke take a look at the story, which he loved. I had my music and I got my friend Noran Price, a graphics and sound genius, to assist me with putting it all together; so it was time to choose my cast. It was easy for me to choose my cast; I chose persons with whom I was really close and who understood how I worked and  understood my “dramatic personality”. I knew the leads for my dance before I found all of my music; both Tamara Noel and Allatunje Connell are excellent dancers, consistent in their efforts and easy to work with, but they both had in them a spirit that I saw from a very long time ago, one which I wanted everyone else to see and that is a “Star” quality.
Before the Young Choreographers’ Show, The Thin Line was viewed by Mrs. Barbara Requa, Barry  Moncrieffe and Clive Thompson, (some of the lifts were inspired by Mr. Thompson’s works). I was given great criticism about the work which I utilized, making some changes that enhanced the work and made it even better. The time came around to release the finished product and although I missed the actual Young Choreographer’s Concert as I was off the island it turned out to be a huge success.
Noted critic, Chester Francis‐Jackson wrote a great review for the Young Choreographers’ Show:
The night belonged to Natalie Chung, with her offering of The Thin Line ‐ Heaven Has No Rage, Like Love to Hatred  Turned! Set to the music of Enigma, featuring  Enya, in the Age of Loneliness, and Christina Perri, Jar of Hearts, with dancers Tamara Noel (as the Seductress), Allatunje Connell (as the Player); with the aforementioned Bembridge, Marisa Benain, Stefanie Thomas, Kevin Moore, Benton Morris and Paul Newman, the dance was as arresting as it was captivating, and not just because of the exquisite portrayal of the roles, but the very topical storyline and artistic exploration its author gave it, brought it to life in such a wholesome mode. It impacted on the consciousness at both the subliminal and post‐emotional levels in the most profound of performer‐to‐audience exchanges this scribe has ever witnessed, and it made for a most compelling piece! Exploring the traditional story of love going sour, and then lovers going out to explore their options and attractions, it made for potent dialogue and Chung proved a superb  choreographer in her interpretation, delivery and mastery of that dialogue! It was simply flawless from concept to execution, and nothing but a 10!!
I thought to myself, what a great note to end a wonderful journey, but to my surprise it was only the beginning. Barry Moncrieffe, now Artistic Director of the NDTC and known as “Uncle Barry” by all, called me and said  the Company would like to premiere The Thin Line for NDTC’s 49th Season of Dance. If I could have done backflips I would have as it was indeed an honour.
My work had begun on The Thin Line, I extended the story line and I found another powerful piece of music “Tired” by Kelly Price; I came up with exciting and sexy costumes that I knew would enhance my story and excite the audience so much more.
I drew on all experienced  persons in choreography to get  as much advice as possible to make  the work suitable and powerful for the NDTC stage. Rehearsals were tight and limited as so many other dances were being rehearsed, but we plodded on and pulled off the dance for final viewing before the season opened  in July. The Thin  Line was set to go on the Sunday of the opening weekend, but ended up being on for opening night which was a huge surprise for me and even a bigger honour.
On the journey of choreography you learn different rules about steps, music, lighting, costuming, props etc. but no one teaches you that the nerves you experience while dancing were even greater on the other side; instead of butterflies, I experienced huge moths. I felt like a pregnant woman about to give birth and you don’t know what to expect, but the wait before is like going to hell and back. I was unable to sit in the audience for the first weekend of the season; I had to be backstage close to my newborn. I would jump and stomp my feet while my dance was going on, shouting out to my dancers: “Now!! Come on NOW!” or “No!! No!! Not YET!!” I felt like I was having a nervous breakdown, EVERY NIGHT that the dance went on.
I would feel faint and nauseated all at  the same  time.  I have heard other choreographers say that after a dance is constructed and learned, give it to the dancers and let go. Wow!! That was the hardest part for me and to date I don’t think I was able to let go fully although I did get progressively better at releasing “my baby”. From time to time I would give notes on Facebook or call my dancers individually with notes or go to  them during performance and give  reminders. When the dancers kept saying: “Nats don’t worry, we got this”, it was then that I had no choice but to “let go”. I felt like I gave birth and my babies grew up so quickly and they no longer needed Mommy to guide them.
This became such a lonely feeling that I had to find some way to release my nerves and so I turned on Rufus McDonald who did the lighting for my piece. So the last two weekends was spent in the lighting box with “Rufie” telling him, “Now Rufie! Strobe Now!”, “Rufie yuh si Tovie, yuh si dat Move!!” “Rufie blackout now!”
It got unbearable for poor Rufie that for the last two nights I had to take myself away. The Thin Line was appreciated by most and got complimentary reviews for the season:
The Thin Line, choreographed by Natalie Chung. It is the season’s find, a seminal piece that is clearly destined for the halls of greatness, as is young Kamar Tucker, whose prowess and raw talent rose to the fore in this debut by the clearly talented Chung, opening night jitters and all.
It was well received as the audience roared with excitement and of course I helped with the screams; I had to cheer on my babies.
It was an unforgettable experience, one which I will treasure forever. Hopefully I will be given another opportunity to create part 2 to The Thin Line, “4 U 4 ever!!”…..LOL!!!

Movie Review | My Lucky Stars (Hung, 1985)
Tumblr media
Among its other qualities, My Lucky Stars displays one truly remarkable achievement of physics. I'm not referring to the physical feats on display, which while impressive, are comparable to things in other movies. I'm talking instead about the way it demonstrates Einstein's theory of relativity. Specifically it relates to the concept of time dilation. There's a scene here that, when I glanced at the little bar on the screen that tracks the runtime, probably runs for five minutes or so. But when I sat through it, it felt like it was eight hours long. Granted, I've sat through other movies that have managed similar accomplishments (I remember stepping out of the theatre after Avengers: Infinity War to find that a week had passed), but it's still impressive. The scene in question features the titular Lucky Stars enacting an elaborate scheme wherein the pretend to be ninjas breaking into their home so that they can tie each other up with Sibelle Hu, one of the only significant female characters in the movie. While I concede audiences in 1980s Hong Kong probably found different things funny than I do today (namely, groping), the repetition here is what really did me in, protracting the brutally unfunny proceedings to an almost cruel length.
Subsequent gags involve the Lucky Stars sexually harassing Hu in other ways, and this is an area where this movie distinguishes itself from the first film in the series, Winners and Sinners. That movie has its share of crass humour, including a scene where one of the characters thinks he's invisible and tries to get a peek at Cherie Chung while she's in the bathroom. (Needless to say, it does not go as planned.) But I think the difference is that the earlier movie has real warmth for Chung's character and gives her a somewhat moving relationship with Sammo Hung (the director and ostensible star). Hu's character is regarded with no such affection here, so the jokes play as more mean-spirited than in the earlier movie. (There is an attempt late in the movie to warm us up to her character, where Sammo looks deep in her eyes and sees his reflection, and that shot is one of the funniest in the movie. The laughs were likely not intentional.) All that being said, the Lucky Stars are reasonably engaging comedic performers and have good chemistry with each other, even if some of them (notably Richard Ng) I've found much more enjoyable elsewhere. When the movie wasn't sexually harassing Hu, I did laugh with some regularity. This is my second viewing of the film, and I probably gelled a bit better to its comedic rhythms this time around, accepting it was not the action-packed extravaganza the opening leads you to expect but rather a loosely assembled gag comedy bookended by some stunning action sequences. The movie is transparently flimsy in its narrative construction, with the heroes joining forces because for some reason they're crucial to the efforts of an international secret agent, a plot which is forgotten about for most of the runtime. It also tosses out any continuity with the previous movie. In that one, the heroes all met in the lockup. Here, they're friends from their days in the orphanage.
And of course, like me, you might be lured in by the participation of Jackie Chan, whose picture is all over the posters for this movie but is really in a third of it at most. Interestingly, his comedic abilities are downplayed (likely to hand the responsibilities for the comic relief over to the main cast), and he's presented as a steely, efficient instrument of violence. You don't need me to tell you that the action here is great, largely because (on top of his strengths of shooting and cutting action for energy and clarity), Hung understands how to maximize its visual impact, often through the use of colour. The yellow sweatsuit he sports in the climax, as well as Jackie's instantly iconic red colourblock Fila tracksuit, might look silly in other hands, but gives the proceedings an added visual punch. (The effect is present in the opening scene as well, as car chase with bright red and yellow cars.) And of course there's the reveal of Michiko Nishiwaki's intimidating physique, which gets an all too relatable reaction of awe from Sibelle Hu. The climax is set in a Japanese amusement park, which gives us a great stretch where Jackie fights his way through a spooky funhouse with staccato, horror-movie-inspired rhythms. The Japan setting likely was chosen to appeal to Jackie's fanbase in the country, but also echoes the relative state of his and Sammo's careers, with his increasing international success contrasting with Sammo's arguably lower brow, domestic focus.
So yeah, fun stuff, although your tolerance for certain kinds of humour will be tested for like half the runtime.

Today, YouTube says the number of Fashion & Beauty channels on the site have grown over 6 times from 2014 to 2018, and combined, generated billions of views in 2018.
The new vertical, YouTube.com/Fashion, will attempt to better organize some of this content, including style videos from top creators, industry collabs, live streams from the runway, inside looks into the fashion industry, behind-the-scenes video, vlogs from fashion icons, and more.
Among the names and brands YouTube mentioned as prominent examples of what you’ll find on the new, top-level destination, there’s:
Fashion & beauty creators Camila Coelho, Jenn Im, Ingrid Nilsen, Safiya Nygaard, Jackie Aina, and Huda Beauty
Collabs between fashion brands with creators like Emma Chamberlain, Dolan Twins, Wengie, the Merrell Twins, Dulceida, Juanpa Zurita, Violet Chachki, and Gigi Gorgeous
Brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior,  Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Gucci, and Alexa Chung
Publications like LOVE Magazine and British Vogue
Breakout channel ‘Being Naomi’ (Naomi Campbell’s new channel)
The launch comes at a time when Instagram has so well established its platform as a destination for style and fashion that it’s now entered into the e-commerce market as well, enabling brands to sell directly to Instagram users who can shop and check out through the social app itself. And with its IGTV platform for long-form videos, it’s working to become more of a YouTube rival.
YouTube, meanwhile, is better known for establishing beauty stars like Yuya, Bethany Mota, Michelle Phan,  Zoe Sugg, James Charles, Tati Westbrook, Jaclyn Hill, and others, who have gained traction for their makeup reviews and tutorials — and sometimes, their feuds. It has even launched a new ad unit targeting the beauty category, that uses AR to let viewers try on makeup themselves.
The company knows the potential in fashion, however — even if it’s been accused in the past of not paying enough attention to the category, despite having fashion-focused creators with millions of subscribers and hundreds of millions of video views.
Things are now starting to change on this front. Last June, YouTube hired Derek Blasberg, previously the host of CNN Style and a Vanity Fair contributor, as its new head of fashion and beauty partnerships. At YouTube, Blasberg has fostered collaborations between top creators and brands in order to better elevate the profiles of the brands and the YouTube stars.
With the launch of /Fashion, YouTube now plans to bring more international voices to the new destination and localize the page for global markets, Blasberg says, writing on the YouTube blog.
Dedicating a vertical to a particular type of content is nothing new for YouTube. As YouTube moved away from running a standalone Twitch competitor, for example, it launched a /Gaming destination on YouTube.com. It’s now one of the fastest-growing verticals on the site.
YouTube Fashion can be found on the YouTube homepage and in the mobile app, where you can subscribe to the category itself, instead of just individual creators.
It’s now one of only a few categories to get top billing on YouTube — a list that also includes Movies & Shows, Gaming, and Live.

Cantopop singer Danny Chan’s 7 most iconic songs – remembering a Hong Kong icon who also starred in movies alongside Chow Yun-fat and Leslie Cheung
Music legends are remembered for different reasons. Some for reaching new artistic heights, some for breaking stereotypes and boundaries, and others simply for the enduring quality of the songs they left us with. Danny Chan Pak-keung is one such legend. Emerging in the 70s and gaining fame in the 80s, Chan was one of Canto-pop's first idols. His romantic ballads, when combined with his unmistakable voice, made fans all over Asia swoon.Chan's chiselled good looks led him to star alongside the likes of Leslie Cheung and Chow Yun-fat, and most notably he played Cherie Chung's boyfriend in An Autumn's Tale. However, his real talents were not only as a vocalist - he penned many of his most famous songs too.Chan was a legend taken away from Hong Kong's music industry too soon. Here's STYLE's selection of his most iconic work as we remember Danny Chan on what would be his 62nd birthday on September 7.Remembrance of a Parent's LoveThis number was dedicated to Chan's parents and he sings of appreciation for their love.Tears Dropping for YouThis was Chan's breakout song from his debut "First Love" album.RipplesOne of the first songs composed by Chan himself to hit the charts. This tune really showcases his talents as a vocalist and was performed beautifully.Just Loving YouAnother original score written by the man himself, Just Loving You is one of the most loved songs of the 80s.WaitWait was one of the most popular songs by Chan and has been covered numerous times by the likes of Jacky Cheung, Eason Chan and Janice Vidal.Trailer of LoveAnother ballad performed so well by Chan that it brought attention to the song writer herself Sandy Lamb - the sister of famous DJ and celebrity personality Jan Lamb. Lamb would go on to release the song again under her own name and gained notable fame before she hung up her mic and became a talent agent in the 90s.Life ExpectationsArguably one of the most popular of songs by Chan and one of his last chart toppers before he fell into a coma in 1992. He died 17 months later in October 1993 at the age of 35.The song was the theme song of TVB's 1989 big budget production, Looking Back in Anger, which spread the tune's popularity even further around the region. In 1989, Life Expectations won a ranking in both RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards and Jade Solid Gold Best Ten Music Awards Presentation, where it also won the prize for best lyrics.Want more stories like this? The Best Remixes Of The Week 026
Start your week with smoking hot remixes from Sweater Beats, Win and Woo, Whethan, Tim Gunter, it’s different, and more. Also check out our feisty Run The Remixes playlist on Spotify with all our all-time favorite remixes, updated weekly.
Panic At The Disco – Say Amen (Sweater Beats Remix) | Stream
Sweater Beats never fails to deliver knockout remixes. In April, he unveiled a delicious official remix of Fall Out Boy’s “Hold Me Tight Or Don’t” and now he’s taken our middle school dreams to the next level. The LA based producer has been drafted by “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” hitmakers Panic At The Disco to craft a spicy official remix of their new single “Say Amen”. Sweater Beats taps into his sinister side for this one by stringing eerie melodies amidst dark bass lines and crisp percussion. He fills the iconic pop rock vocals with an ominous soundscape that rumbles into a haunting, grungy drop. Wondrously different from his usual vibrant dance pop atmospheres, Sweater Beats has shown us a refined, Jekyll-like side of himself that will instantly capture your attention. Stream Sweater Beats’ adventurous Panic At The Disco remix below. – Jordan Farley
Fall Out Boy – The Last Of The Real Ones (Win & Woo Remix) | Stream
Win and Woo have just dropped off one of their finest remixes to date. For their latest, the Chicago duo have been tapped by the legends Fall Out Boy to turn their pop punk anthem “The Last Of The Real Ones” into a luxurious future house bop. Deep, shiny synths bounce off of Patrick Stump’s signature vocals, bringing an edgy electro house groove to the track. This remix follows a string of summer releases including their bubbly Cosmos & Creature collaboration “Beam Me Up” and official remixes of Robert DeLong and K.Flay’s “Favorite Color Is Blue” and Clara Mae and Jake Miller’s “Better Me Better You“. – Jordan Farley
Post Malone x Justin Bieber – Deja Vu (Whethan Remix) | Stream
Whethan is currently preparing for his debut project but he’s dropping off some treats to hold our anticipation. His latest flips Post Malone and Justin Bieber‘s Stoney hit “Deja Vu” into a future bass wonderland. Wonky, chopped synths bounce off breezy percussion, bringing a charismatic charm to the track. Keep your eyes peeled for Whethan’s next single.
Snails & Waka Flocka Flame – WFSU (Virtual Riot & Snails Remix) | Stream
Snails and Virtual Riot have been crushing the dubstep game for a minute now, so seeing them on the same track definitely perks our interest. The duo just dropped of a remix of Snails and Waka Flocka Flame’s “WFSU” remix and dear lord is it filthy. Get ready to start hearing this one at concerts near you. – Max Chung
DJ Khaled ft. Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper & Quavo – No Brainer (it’s different Cover) | Stream
it’s different are one of our favorite rising duos and they’ve drawn us in with their vibey new cover series. Following on the tail of their recent “Fireflies” cover, their latest is the second in their new Our Different Version series. They’ve now spun DJ Khaled‘s “No Brainer” into a hypnotic pop banger. Snappy percussion and sultry vocal chops beautifully drape it’s different’s dance pop flip and bring a new vibrance to the hit. Get hyped for their next cover.
Travis Scott – Sicko Mode (ANGELZ Remix) | Free Download
ANGELZ just dropped what has been the hardest rendition to Travis Scott‘s “Sicko Mode” so far. The single arose from Scott’s recent ASTROWORLD LP and slathered a hefty Drake feature so it’s no surprise to see the record see so much success outside of the album. Charting across the globe, countless remixes have hit the forefront but ANGELZ’s twisted rendition simply trumps the competition. In an era where house music continues to reign supreme, the Quebec City native continues to show off his immense versatility. Possessing a background in rap and hip-hop, his most recent house ventures have been tough to ignore. If you’ve yet to hear the name, now is the time to invest into ANGELZ. – Omar Serrano
Charlie Puth – The Way I Am (Taska Black Remix) | Stream
Bitbird producer Taska Black has just turned Charlie Puth‘s “The Way I Am” into an excessively hot remix. Tribal inspired percussion crafts an anthemic build up to the edgy future bass drop fueled by airy, chopped synths and deep bass lines. This is one of Taska Black’s finest remixes to date.
Loud Luxury – Body (Tim Gunter Edit) | Stream
Tim Gunter has certainly stepped up with this smooth remix of Loud Luxury‘s chart-topping hit “Body”. He recently impressed with his luscious remix of Hotel Garuda’s “Blurry Eyes” and has once again unleashed his dark futuristic soundscapes on “Body”. Swift percussion and bright piano hits bring a breezy future bass twist to the house original and it’s amazing. Tim Gunter has definitely caught our eye with this edit.
LIONE – Glimmer (tofû Remix) | Free Download
tofû is one of our favorite remixers and his latest remix is extra glittery. Taking on LIONE‘s “Glimmer”, tofû has wrapped the track in sugary sweet synths that drape it in a playful, light vibe. tofû’s “Glimmer” remix is a wonderful addition to his ever growing collection.
David Guetta, Martin Garrix & Brooks – Like I Do (LZRD Remix) | Free Download
LZRD have continually amazed with their adventurous future trap remixes of Louis The Child, Krewella, The Chainsmokers, and more. For their new remix of David Guetta and Martin Garrix‘s “Like I Do”, LZRD have unleashed wild percussion and wonky synths soar amidst chopped vocals, expertly blend future bass and trap. This is one of LZRD’s most ambitious remixes to date.
Two Friends – Bandaid (Wild Cards Remix) | Free Download
Wild Cards have consistently impressed with their jaw dropping remixes of Khalid, Fall Out Boy, Illenium, and more. They’ve now drafted a marvelous remix of Two Friends‘ “Bandaid” that erupts with vibrant piano hits and ringing synths. Their adventurous remix is sparked by playful future bass and bright dance pop, making it one of their finest remixes yet.
Lost Kings – Stuck (feat. Tove Styrke) [Kuur x Kbubs x DCB Remix] | Stream
Newcomers Kuur, Kbubs, and DCB have come together for one hell of a three-way remix. Together, the trio have pumped Lost Kings‘ “Stuck” with glittery synths, snappy percussion, and silky melodies that beautifully compliment Tove Styrke‘s lush vocals. Their vibrant, feel-good dance pop remix is quite a banger. Definitely keep an eye on these three this year.
Illenium – Chosen You (Birthdayy Partyy Flip) | Free Download
Birthdayy Partyy never fail to bring the bass and they’ve just brought it to Illenium‘s “Chosen You”. The Chicago duo have inserted their deep bass and hard hitting dubstep to turn the Illenium original into a wildly ambitious festival banger. This one goes off hard.
Lucy Daydream – Go Flex (Post Malone Cover) | Stream
Newcomer Lucy Daydream has certainly impressed with her debut release. Taking on Post Malone is no small task but Lucy Daydream has done it magically by covering his Stoney hit “Go Flex”. Her soft and sensual rendition is dreamy and luscious, floating into an effervescent world that takes “Go Flex” to a whole other place. Lucy Daydream is definitely one to keep an eye on this year.
Cailee Rae – It’s On You (Mielo Remix) | Stream
Mielo has continued to amaze with each of his wondrously produced remixes. Earlier this year, he dropped a gorgeous rendition of Slow Magic’s “Wildfire” and now he’s unveiled a brilliant official remix of Cailee Rae‘s “It’s On You”. Hypnotic synth melodies wrap Rae’s sultry vocals in a haunting dark pop vibe that is seductive and enticing. Mielo has certainly stepped up with this one.
Anarbor – MIA (Dead Robot Remix) | Free Download
Anarbor has stolen the hearts of many through the use of their heartfelt records and grunginess. When the release of The EP hit the world, they simply continued to build onto the bands lasting legacy. Venturing into realms of music they’ve yet to experiment into, it was no surprise to see their remix package tackle the same concept. That’s why we’re sharing with the remix to “MIA” by Dead Robot. His tasteful remix offers a melancholy version of the single that is prepared to sink into your heart. Putting you in a melodic whirlwind of emotions, his adventurous rendition is something you need to get your ears onto asap. – Omar Serrano
Drake – In My Feelings (VAVO X Steve Reece Remix) | Free Download
Vavo and Steve Reece just dropped one of the best remixes of Drake that I’ve ever heard.  They’ve both been crushing it on their own right, but them teaming up to take on “In My Feelings” is out of this world.  Their lush chords and crisp production make this Drake remix unforgettable. – Hunter Thompson
Tiesto & Dzeko ft. Preme & Post Malone – Jackie Chan (HtPkt & Facade Remix) | Free Download
Two months ago, Tarro put his spin on Tiesto and Post Malone‘s “Jackie Chan” and now two up and coming hotshots have dropped another stunning remix. HtPkt and Facade have each been featured on our pages and now they’ve joined forces for a funky future bass remix. Snappy percussion instantly brings a dance crazed groove to the track before blasting into a summery future house drop. HtPkt and Facade make for an amazing duo.
The Chainsmokers – Side Effects feat. Emily Warren (Nolan van Lith Remix) | Stream
Rising producer Nolan van Lith has pulled out all the stops for his official remix of The Chainsmokers‘ “Side Effects”. He opens with an ominous, shadowy soundscape filled with eerily pitched vocals, twisting The Chainsmokers’ original into a haunting future bass rendition. Nolan van Lith has definitely tapped into his dark side for this one and it’s phenomenal.
