"Been in the wars Ma'am?"
"After a fashion"
A lot of us in the #LGBTQIA community have suffered. Some of you went through some horrible and heartbreaking things. I just want to give you all hugs and cry with you, and thank you for staying, thank you for living, thank you for fighting! The fact you are still standing with your sparkle and shine makes you so strong and in turn makes us strong. We will RISE ABOVE IT! TOGETHER!
To those of us who couldn't handle it, didn't make it, and those who were taken from us! I weep for you. We don't know all of your names but we remember you. We see you.
To those of us who are still hiding, in fear or just because you are not there yet. Don't worry, you come out when you can. You come out when you are ready.
To those who have been beaten, who are sitting and bleeding, feeling forgotten. Please, PLEASE know you are never alone.
We need to stand strong together so new queers can see they can live through it too. Whether you went through mental or physical suffering, we are all in the same fight! We are all in this together! Spread LOVE, help your fellow queers! SUPPORT QUEER OWNED BUSINESSES. However you can!
I thank all of the beautiful, wonderful, amazing Gays, Lesbians, Trans, Queer HUMANS that came before us, who fought and died so WE who are here NOW can live free. So we can live our best QUEER life. I appreciate you, I won't take it or you for granted.
Thank you to our Allies who fight with us. Right beside their brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, children.. friends. We love you! Thank you for supporting our fight. We don't know how much longer this will go on but it feels like we are nearing an end. Teach love! Teach acceptance!
