her and chen: i think i mentioned this somewhere before but chen = wuxia protag hoshi = her mentor (in some capacities since technically wei was her [absent] mentor) she has all the qualities you would want except like in standard mentor fashion, a little conservative (i really do like this…flaw? because to be content with how the LGD operates, it makes you wonder how things were like before…)

her and swire… i like to think sometimes swire brings That Day up and hoshi is just ^_^ i see! and then after chen is gone maybe swire has some difficulty cleaning up the mess and at times takes out the badge to have a 'what would mysterious officer x do' moment and one time hoshi catches her doing that and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh omg forgot what i wanted to write here

i bring monhun collab up because yato and noir used to be an assassins but they quit da life and yato mentions 'killing your own kind', talks about her last hit she flaked out on but that that another assassin simply killed the mother and daughter duo she was supposed to kill so i was like damn what if hoshiguma also…?? (they are all oni and we all know she's ex-yakuza) or what if… she was the one that had to do yato's job, the hoshi/yato yaoi would be UNREAL but i dont think HG has the guts

Yakuza 13 AU Epilogue 2: Ava and Ira

Summary: Approximately 16 years after Xehanort’s death, Zexion and Aqua’s children don’t always get along.

Word Count: 1945

   Ava and Ira were the kind of siblings who got along by not getting along. They constantly squabbled, complained about each other regularly to their individual friends, frequently told each other they hated each other, and if they got wind of anyone talking smack about the other, they would hunt said person down and use certain skills their mom hadn’t approved of them learning from their aunts and uncles. After all, they had to live with each other. Based on that, they had earned the right to not get along. Anyone else who intruded on that needed to be taught a lesson.

    Aqua sometimes worried about how often their kids fought, but in one of the few moments where Zexion actually mentioned his childhood, he said he too had found his sister insufferable. Some siblings just didn’t get along. Ira and Ava were like that.

    But at times, the two kids, teenagers now, took things a bit far. Like the time when Ava brought an air horn to Ira’s orchestra concert. Or when Ira retaliated by getting his uncle Vanitas to teach him to make slime so he could cover Ava’s bed with it. Or any time their parents ended up getting involved. One of the few things Ava and Ira could agree on was that their parents were formidable. Particularly their mom. She didn’t get mad very often, but when she did, even their dad felt it best to lay low for a while. Plus her cooking was pretty deadly.

    Still, their family was a happy one. Mostly.

    Ira stabbed at his mashed potatoes. Ava was doing that thing again. That one where she reported his every single shortcoming to their parents. If he got an A- on a test rather than A+, Ava would be quick to tell on him. If he tripped and fell during PE, who would rush home to tell dad right away? Ava. And when cousin Invi let him try out her slingshot at school and he accidentally hit the principal’s sports car with a grape, tattling on him to their parents would be the highlight of Ava’s day. It certainly seemed to be the case now.

    “Well I’m sure your brother didn’t mean to,” Aqua said.

    “Maybe not, but since the window was open it ended up on the inside of the car. And it spattered all over!” Ava said. The infuriating part of this all, for Ira at least, was that he had no way to retaliate in kind. Ava was practically perfect. Polite to all teachers, perfect grades, graceful, never failed at anything she tried, never made mistakes; the only way Ira ever had anything to report on Ava was if he engineered it himself, and there was no way he wouldn’t get caught. He’d tried. Her only fault was her rotten personality, and even that was only towards him. Talk about unfair.

    “Ira, are you going to eat your potatoes, or are you just planning to maim them?” Zexion asked. Grumpily, Ira took a bite of his potatoes.

    “Plus, yesterday Ira forgot his music for orchestra. And he always talks about being a big-time musician someday.” Ava laughed.

    “I had it all memorized, so it was fine,” Ira snapped back. And then it occurred to him. The one thing that would get her to shut up. “But anyway, Ava, when are you planning on introducing your boyfriend to mom and dad?”

    If Ava had turned any paler, she would have become see-through. Got her.

    The thudding sound was Ira’s first clue that maybe he had gone a little too far. The slapping sound of his mother face-palming was the next. After that, he didn’t need any clues, because he’d looked over at his dad and started to sweat because he had just done something terrible. Zexion’s eyes were ablaze and one hand still clenched the dinner knife he’d stabbed the table with. Ira knew without checking under the table that Zexion’s other hand was at its habitual place at his pocket, where back in the day he’d kept razor-edged wires that he used in fights.

    “What’s this about a boyfriend?” Zexion asked, his voice deadly calm.

    “Dad, I, uh-” Ava stammered.

    “I-i-it was a joke. Just a j-joke. L-l-like Ava has a b-b-boyf-friend. Haha,” Ira squeaked, knowing that he was going to get hell for this unless he straightened things out.

    “Was it?” Zexion asked, his attention turning on Ira, who qualmed.

    “Uhhhhhh.”

    “Dear, Ava’s already 15 years old. It’s normal for her to start thinking about dating,” Aqua said mildly.

    “Thinking, yes. Not doing.”

    “Zexion,” Aqua sighed.

    “You didn’t start dating until you were 20.”

    “So, what, you’re going to make us the basis for when our children can date? Does that mean Ira’s going to have to wait until he’s 35?”

    “No, I just meant-”

    “You’re being overprotective again. Stop it.” Aqua’s word was final.

    While the conversation was over, Ira didn’t relax. He wasn’t out of the woods yet. Sure enough, his dad finished first and left the table, and his mom picked the topic back up again.

    “So, you have a boyfriend, Ava?” Aqua asked. Ava instantly turned on her brother.

    “Ira you little gremlin, you’re-”

    “That would be a yes then. Is it who I think it is?” Aqua continued her line of questioning.

    “Um, well, that is, uh-”

    “Oh come on. It’s not like we didn’t all see this coming,” Ira interrupted in spite of himself. “The two of you have practically been conjoined since elementary school.”

    “By that argument, you and Invi should be dating since the two of you are thick as thieves. Emphasis on the thieves, since you’re a couple of little troublemakers!” Ava snapped back.

    “Invi likes girls, and you know it! Pardon me if I haven’t succumbed to any raging hormones yet!”

    “Both of you, please stop before your father comes back in here to complain about the noise. You know he hates it when people start shouting,” Aqua said. She was completely unphased. “Ira, in the future I would advise you to think a bit more before speaking, as your father is quite excitable. Ava, I’ve told you before that your brother doesn’t need you to tell us his every move.”

    “But mo-om-” Ava whined.

    “No buts. If he really did something wrong or was in trouble he can tell us himself. Furthermore, if you have a boyfriend, you really ought to tell us. Better for us to find out right at the beginning than for it to be revealed suddenly in a way that is rather inconvenient for you. I mean, imagine if your Uncle Demyx saw you with your boyfriend and called everyone over to spectate. Or- or something like that. Point is, be careful what secrets you choose to keep, okay?” Aqua blushed a little as she gave her suspiciously detailed example.

    “Yes, mom,” Ava grumbled.

    “As for your father, I’ll talk to him. So go ahead and invite your boyfriend to dinner on Friday.”

    “But mom, Dad will kill him before he even gets through the front door!” Ira protested. If anything happened to his sister’s boyfriend, Ava would take it out on him in spades.

    “No he won’t. Like I said, I’ll talk to him. Now, try not to fight too much as you finish your dinners,” Aqua said as she stood up and cleared her place at the table. She paused to sigh over the new scar in the table from the dinner knife, but then she was gone, leaving just an irate Ava and an apologetic Ira.

    “Look, Ava, sorry, I-”

    “Save it,” Ava snapped. She shoveled the rest of her food down, still managing to look as dainty as always, and then she too was gone, leaving Ira to wonder if maybe he could get one of his uncles to help him move to Antarctica. Or maybe another planet, just to be safe.

    Friday night came and an air of unease fell over the house. Ira wouldn’t come out of his room, he was that scared. Ava was by the door, pacing and trying to keep a lookout for her boyfriend while also trying to keep an eye on her dad. Zexion might have appeared to be reading, except that he was scowling at the book in his hand as if trying to urge it to combust, and had not turned a page since he’d picked the book up almost half an hour previously. The only person who seemed unaffected by it all was Aqua, who hadn’t had work and had spent the day cleaning the house and humming along to the music playing through her earbuds.

    And then the doorbell rang.

    Ava sprang for the door. Zexion slammed the book shut, a behavior he never tolerated, and got to his feet with a glint in his eye that spelled trouble. He’d spent the previous evening talking to Eraqus about speeches one gave to one’s daughter’s boyfriend, and was well-prepared. Back in his room, Ira cowered underneath a blanket.

    “Gula! Hey!” Ava greeted slightly breathlessly.

    Zexion froze, uncertain.

    “Oh, is he here already?” Aqua asked. “Come on in, Gula. I was really glad to hear you two are finally dating. I was worried the you and Ava were going to be like your parents. I don’t think any of us ever understood why it took Sora and Kairi so long to get together.”

    “Mom! Stop that! It’s embarrassing!” Ava cried.

    Zexion was still frozen.

    “Well according to my dad, he kept getting interrupted whenever he tried to ask her out, but according to my mom, he was just super dense about it and then he chickened out too easily so she had to ask him,” Gula responded, shrugging.

    “Both sound pretty likely,” Aqua laughed.

    “Uh, mom,” Ava whispered, and jerked her head at Zexion, who still was in a state of suspended animation.

    “Dear, did I forget to mention that Ava’s boyfriend is Gula?” Aqua asked a little too innocently. Zexion finally moved, narrowing his eyes in suspicion.

    “You think this is funny, don’t you?” he asked sourly.

    “Uh-huh,” Aqua said.

    “Hmph.”

    “Don’t be like that,”Aqua chided. “Here, I’ll help you make dinner to apologize.”

    “Why don’t you get Ira to come out of his room and help me instead,” Zexion sighed. “We want the results to be edible, right?”

    As both parents left the room, Gula swallowed nervously.

    “Uh, what just happened?” he asked.

    “My mom has a twisted sense of humor sometimes,” Ava replied.

    “Oh, okay,” Gula said, accepting that he wasn’t going to get any more explanation than that. But really, didn’t he deserve to know why his life had flashed before his eyes when he’d entered the room?

    But it wasn’t like Ava really could explain what had just happened. She didn’t quite understand that, as Sora’s son, Gula held a special place in the hearts of the Yakuza 13, and as such, was one of the few people who would ever be able to actually be considered an acceptable match for Ava in her father’s eyes. She also was still trying to process the way her mom had just gotten away with trolling her dad so supremely. She knew they were in love, but to think it was to that extent was unbelievable to the girl, and to pretty much everyone, really.

    All Ava knew for sure was that she supposed she would forgive Ira for this one. Mostly, anyway. She was still going to sprinkle a little salt on his toothbrush later, just for good measure. After all, she couldn’t let the pranks uncle Vanitas had taught her go to waste, now could she?

DO i ship erasermic? haha, joking aside, anon, why I ship erasermic is 90% due to aizawa's personality and i'll explain why in a sec.aizawa is not the friendliest person. aizawa does not react extremely well to friendly persons, prime examples being all might and ms. joke, who fit into this mold of LOUD ENTHUSIASTIC LETS-BE-FRIENDS HERO! aizawa initially rejects all might's friendlier advances until they start warming up to each other (i mean, when he starts warming up to Toshinori Yagi. i don't think he ever quite warmed up to all might.) and he flat-out refuses every advance of ms. joke's, though that may be not because it was friendly advances but like, Aggressively Romantic advances.so from that, we can gather--aizawa doesn't do people, and he ESPECIALLY does not do people who are loud and extroverted and hyperactive.except mic.aizawa reacts somewhat differently to mic than he does others--sure, there's his typical deadpan remarks to contrast mic's YELLING but he puts up with and gets along with mic and TRUSTS him--*his desk is right next to mic's*he goes out drinking, frequently, with mic, and attempts to leave the moment someone else tags along*initially protests commentating the sports festival, which is typical of him, but he gives up rather quickly even though later on we're shown he can and WILL protest against things he doesn't like (constantly rejecting ms. joke basically every other word she speaks)*(from illegals, which is not written by horikoshi himself, but horikoshi reads the chapters and green-lights them so this maybe has some merit) aizawa and mic have been in contact for years--it wasn't a case of 'we were classmates' and then 'hey, haven't seen you in a while, we're co-workers now'. it was 'we were classmates and we graduated but we're still friends and talk to each other and now we're coworkers'. *(also from illegals) apparently if u want to know where mic is u gotta ask aizawa bc He Knows-mic gave aizawa his hero name, which aizawa has kept for 15 years*and this is just speculation and under the assumption the class 15 years ago would have followed similarly to current--after the sports festival, they decide on hero names.whether you're a believer in aizawa being a gen-ed kid or not, and whether aizawa's been in the hero course or transferred, either way, that was a seriously short amount of time for aizawa to get used to mic--and he clearly is, because he actually talks and responds to mic and takes his suggestions. *and finally, aizawa actually, genuinely trusts mic--this isn't a case of 'this guy's a loudmouth and i would never trust him with anything' as typically seen in this kind of opposites dynamic. no, aizawa actually trusts mic, and he trusts him to bodyguard toshinoriWOW THATS REALLY LONG AJSUAJSJJWNW tl dr: aizawa trusts and also probably actually genuinely likes micnow, on mic's end, 90% of the time we see mic, he's with aizawa, and in the case of the recent chapter, appeared on behalf of aizawa. in the anime, during USJ, we see a shot of aizawa's body before mic steps in view of the camera, and he's clearly pissed. we were shown mic's quirk a season early bc of this lmaomic also calls aizawa 'eraser', like, frequently, which i think is nice because that was the name mic gave aizawa and its kinda like his special thing lmaoalso, this is in smash!, but its still cute anyways: mic is on first name basis and calls aizawa cute stuff like shoucchan!!!!also this probably means nothing but uhhhhhh aizawa narrated mic's quirk introduction when someone else like all might or midoriya (and i say midoriya because he was watching the match and has the knowledge he does, and it could have been played as Midoriya Narrating The Battle Or Mentioning Mic's Quirk Out Loud) could have done itand now this all boils down to why i think they would be a good couple:*mic spends a LOT of time with aizawa. sports festival, desks right next to each other, fending off the press, going out to drinks together, etc. this is mostly because mic's a minor character, but this is the most significant (actually, the ONLY) relationship of mic's we've been shown, meaning they're uhh, probably Best Friends *aizawa actually likes and trusts mic, despite mic being everything he is shown to dislike*if they were to start dating i don't think much of their dynamic would change, which is why they would be Very Goodanyways thanks for coming to my TED talk im so sorry this is so long

Oh man I can tell this one’s going to be long as I’m pumped to talk about them today. It’ll be under a cut! But thank you so much! :) (Also a lot doesn’t exactly fit canon such as clothing but I laugh at canon so. Bear in mind.)

12. How do they like to dress?

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, loves jackets. But specifically…

Adeline: Most of her clothing is fitted. Or, at least, as close as she can manage in this day and age. She goes for a more conservative look, spending her time in jeans, t-shirts, and sweaters. These tend to be in cooler-hued colors as well. Another item she’s fond of is long jackets. Knee length or longer to be preferable, and these are generally military jackets (Such as her general’s uniform) and combat boots she’s scavenged from around the Commonwealth. Button downs if she has to be a professional again in meetings with the leaders of other factions. The only accessory of sorts she always carries is a pair of fingerless gloves. These are for both warmth and to help with rubbing from her rifle. Overall she likes to appear put together and well-groomed in her appearance. 

Willow: How she dresses largely depends on where she is. If she’s out wandering or doing some odd job, she’ll be in her courier’s duster she got after visiting the Divide as well as a plain long-sleeved shirt and pants. She’ll generally wear this if she’s having to appear as “Courier Six” somewhere as well due to most recognizing that image. If she’s on the Strip, she prefers jeans or cut offs and tanks/crop tops/open front or back shirts. These are typically in warmer tones of color. If there’s something going on that night she’ll pull out slinky, glittery dresses for the look, but those are a rarity. The one sort of “accessory” she has is the chip, and this she’s managed to attach to a chain that’s fashioned as a necklace long enough to hide under clothing.

Morgan: Preferring neutral tones, Morgan tends to make due with what she finds. Generally she likes to feel small, so her clothing tends to be over-sized. Long sleeves that cover her hands, jeans she has to cuff, the usual. She’s not at all picky about appearance so these might even have a rip or two in them (usually the jeans at the knees) for some time before she gets around to fixing them. She likes denim jackets as well, and the bigger the better. On her feet there’s usually wool socks as it’s cold that far north and typically either sneakers or some kind of short boot. She has a pair of orange sneakers that she loves dearly, and she’ll probably be wearing those whether they match or not. 

Fox: This one adores bright colors of all kinds, but is in love with red and pink. She’s the one that appears more “feminine” and so-called “girly” in her color choice most of the time despite her….occupation. She has a wide array of leather/pleather jackets that come in as many colors as her hair does (she’s constantly dying it different tones) though of course she has her favorites. Boots are another staple of her outfit, and the taller the better. Her love of shiny things also means a lot of jewelry in necklaces and rings, and many of these are snake-related. She’s also quite fond of sunglasses and animal masks, though obviously not at the same time. The most “fashion forward” of my set, as much as there can be in this universe. 

24. Do they prefer either hot or cold weather more?

Adeline: Being small and always cold, Adeline is much happier if it’s warm. But she doesn’t like hot so she’ll take cold out of those two options. 

Willow: Hot, definitely. No question. She hates being cold. 

Morgan: Cold. She’s always liked having an excuse to wrap up in blankets and sweaters. 

Fox: She’s more partial to the milder range herself but she’ll go hot over cold any day. 

36. Least favorite smell? 

Adeline: She’s not all that bothered by smells though if she had to pick one she’s not too fond of the smell of most cleaning supplies. They make her sneeze.  

Willow: Burning rubber. She’s run across it a few too many times in her travels and every single time it makes her gag. 

Morgan: Wet dog. Unfortunate, that, since Dogmeat is her constant companion and he’s got a habit of splashing in every puddle they come across. 

Fox: Funny enough, she hates the smell of Sugar Bombs. The distinct, sugary sweet smell just makes her teeth and jaw hurt, and she avoids it whenever she can. 

48. Are they dating/married to anyone?

Adeline: Yes! She has her late husband, of course, and now she’s with MacCready!

Willow: Uhhhhhh. Ha. Haha. Hahaha. She is! But that’s…um…er…complicated. 

Morgan: Nope! No one for this girl! Though she has been interested in some other girls in the past, she’s never felt strongly enough to pursue anything. 

Fox: Lol no. 

60. What is something that they’re sure to laugh at?

Adeline: It might be a little twisted, but she’s amused when someone gets something about the old world incredibly wrong. She had a ball with Moe in Diamond City. I think she just enjoys the irony of something she once thought unforgettable being the exact opposite of that. She won’t laugh at kids though, not wanting to hurt their feelings. 

Willow: A good comedian. Yeah, it’s a bit of a cop-out, but the thing she’s usually laughing at are herself otherwise so its a little difficult. But generally if you have a good sense of humor and a quick wit, you can get her laughing. 

Morgan: Her Vault had lots of pre-war comedies that she misses as they always made her laugh. She’s found some others though now and she’s happy with those. 

Fox: Is it enough to say she laughs at the misery of others? Because she does. Too often. But generally she laughs at stupid things; specifically, stupid things that other people do. Anytime she sees a raider mess up something like tweaking a ride (and generally receiving some kind of punishment dealt out by the park itself) she’s howling. 

72. Are they allergic to anything?

Adeline: Nothing really specific. She just gets seasonal allergies that have by some unfortunate turn of events survived the war. So she’s sneezing her way through spring most years. 

Willow: Nope!

Morgan: She’ll never know it (which is fortunate) but she’s allergic to something they put in Vim! soda. So drinking it would cause her some discomfort and numbing around the mouth. 

Fox: She has a food allergy to some fruits so she avoids all of them as a general rule. Not worth the risk!

84. What are some physical features that they find attractive on people?

Adeline: Hmmm. Typically she likes lighter hair on men, and someone being taller than her is a must (Not that it’s difficult but still. She’s short already. Anyone shorter is alarming). She also prefers bright-colored eyes. 

Willow: She’s less picky than some of my others, but generally she prefers people with sharper features. More defined, more striking, the whole nine yards. Kind of almost buys into some of pre-war’s beauty standards in her preferences. 

Morgan: Typically she’s attracted to “softer” features. Anyone that looks intimidating or mean is someone she wants to avoid. So brown eyes, nice smile, round nose…features that are generally described as “kind” are ones she likes. 

Fox: She’s not all too concerned with features. If you’re interested and she’s interested it’s enough. But she does find herself drawn to scars, especially if they’re noticeable and have a good story attached. 

96. What is their greatest weakness?

Adeline: Her tendency to trust too easily. Coming out of the vault was difficult in part in her adjustment to the idea that people lived mostly for themselves and no one else. Finding “good” people was a must, and she got taken advantage of more than once in those early days. She got better as she learned her place in the world and her training from law school kicked back in, but she still slips up now and then.

Willow: She’ll never admit it but it’s those few people she allows close. If anyone were to go after them or do anything to them, she’d switch back over to protective and cold, which would ultimately lead to some mistakes. She’d be more impulsive with her actions than calculating, and that can be a very bad thing in this world. 

Morgan: She’s scared easily. She doesn’t trust people, and they can really unnerve her without trying very hard. So she has to keep a firm hand on herself when someone startles her, since it can greatly decrease her negotiating powers and make her doubt herself. 

Fox: Some combination of her greed and temper. One day she’s going to want too much, and someone’s going to make her angry, and it’s not going to end well.
