I'm playing Invoked Magistus in the theme chronicle event this time and oh God that deck does a whole lot of nothing very efficiently (there aren't many good generic synchro 8s or rank 4s available and the Magistus extra deck usually just wants to make an extra deck floodgate with a battle trick, and you never want to have to make Vahram AKA synchro mirrorjade that only has the on destruction effect and nothing else)

It wasn't mentioned by name but since we know we are getting more Witchcrafter cards and hopefully more propheseers and Endymion cards due to the new manga announcement, but Magistus *really* needs something to do that isn't Calamity Zoroa, and not even the Aleister fusions round out the deck's issues; Magistus Crowley's effect to change attributes like never comes up to make any Aleister fusions because the other Magistus cards can be used as material for the most important ones anyway which I think was the main purpose of the effect at printing? But idk more often than not I'm sending an Aleister from hand or field to graveyard and then invocating with it and something else in grave more than I'm changing Crowley to a light or smth...

Also don't get me started on the Prophecy monsters in general. (Monster portion of the spellbook archetype)
