I’m sorry (not really), but if you comment something rude or completely unrelated on my work, I’m going to question you directly.

Most people don’t respond back but person did and made a whole stink about me calling them out by saying there was no reason for their comment. They then told me not to respond to THEM commenting on MY work.

Like, buddy, that’s not how that works. You can’t go onto someone else’s work and comment something, then get upset when that creator responds, especially when they tell you what you said was unnecessary (and potentially offensive).

I hate when people will comment shit that’s completely unrelated, but I also hate when people act rude under my art.

There are plenty of people that have said “they wish they could unsee my work” or that they “are now traumatized” because of my work. And I will say that if these comments were posted under my more gorey work, or work with purposefully upsetting themes, then I wouldn’t care.

But NOPE! Those specific comments were left under harmless works that did not warrant those reactions. People really need to learn how to talk to artists and comment on art without being inappropriate or rude. It really isn’t that hard to not comment rude things.
