1. How long have you been writing fanfic?

Oh geez uh 2015 maybe?? It’s been a while but genuinely I’d really rather just stab myself than look at my writing from then

2. Who most influences your writing style?

Ooh that’s hard because most of the time I’d say I try to just focus on my story while writing so I don’t make comparisons that make me sad but if anyone probably Uncertainty-Principle on ao3?? Their fic the Third Option is my favorite Marvel fic and my second favorite fic ever, and I could wax poetic about their ability to build tension and attention to detail

3. Favourite type of scene to write?

honestly I really love writing like flashback scenes or scenes that come back to reflect on things that have already happened if that makes sense?? I like peeling back the layers of my story for my audience to see

4. What trope is your favourite to write and/or read?

I really like writing angst in general just because I get usually very detailed ideas for fics a lot with it which makes things easier to write. As far as for reading, a well-written homeless!Peter fic or a fic with HYDRA gets me goin man they’re so neat!! Also, not sure if this counts as a trope but I love both reading and writing a good outsider POV fic

5. What is one trope that you dislike?

nothing that I really dislike, but I wouldn’t say I’m likely to read the average field trip fic or a fic that focuses heavily on Peter mourning Tony

6. What AU do you wish to write but feel like you won’t manage?

Please from the bottom of my heart anyone with time and attention to detail PLEASE write a Marvel au for the book Vicious by V. E. Schwab I have so many ideas about who would be who and everything else that I am dying to discuss with anyone who has read it I am BEGGING y

7. Do you outline, or write as you go?

Uh it kinda depends?? I generally have a vague idea of where I’m going with a fic, but for one-shots, I’m much more likely to wing it. Longer projects I tend to plan out in more detail (my obscenely long and complicated HYDRA au that I’ve had in the works for months say what) so I don’t get lost along the way, but no matter what I’m writing I usually have a bullet point or two at the bottom of my doc with reminders about little things I want to happen or bring up

8. Past tense or present tense? Why?

You know for a really long time and all of my last hyperfixation I did past, but I’m currently writing more in present because I think it fits the tone of a lot of my WIPs right now

9. Do you prefer to write one-shots or multi-chapters? Why?

One-shots because my ability to commit to a WIP is questionable at the best of times, and therefore, I’m currently refusing to post a multi-chaptered fic until I have it all written in advance in fear of leaving people hanging for months on end

10. What is the kindest comment you’ve received on a fic? (Feel free to paraphrase or generalize!)

oh geez okay so first of all this person named EsperHeart left the most beautiful comments on all of my works in the Into His Fold series and that’s like,, branded into my mind bc Wow but people who say they had the same idea/thought I explore in a fic and are happy with how I dealt with it make me uwu so hard

11. What is the most gratifying aspect of writing fanfic for you?

Comments and finishing something!! I love feeling productive by finalizing something and then!!! It’s just so nice to hear what people have to say about my work
