I’ve been finally getting to working on design concepts for my iterator ocs from Slivers local group, so here’s Stars. She is sooooo normal (lying)

#keese draws #oc posting #oc art #oc #ocs #rain world #rainworld #iterator oc #rain world oc #as the eldest of the group along with being on the older end of iterators in general her puppet is a bit clunky #staring at it sitting still it looks fine but the second she starts moving it becomes clear it was made with too heavy parts #the plating on her arms and neck in particular tend to be problems since they tend to get stuck #this is a particularly annoying problem with her since she moves around a Lot and pre great ascension was basically constantly spinning #around in her chamber and had to be checked on and fixed up frequently #she didn’t mind though since she loved her city and the ppl in it dearly and would often actively seek out opportunities to talk to the #m more #she was one of the first to notice the great ascension was happening and she understandably freaked the hell out #in fact this fucked her up so bad that it actually resulted in a good amount of physical damage due to all of that stress #after that she became a lot more bitter and closed off from the rest of her group and sliver by extension #I’ve already written abt all of this before ofc so I won’t go into much more detail #but yeah she eventually shut off her communications and didn’t open them again until long after sliver was dead

anyway my issue with a lot of other helpols (which just makes me avoid the larger community and do my own thing in my corner) is that a lot of them are recon (which is fine!!!) but i am inherently informal and weird as shit in my practice. i call hades and hestia my spiritual dad/mom, hermes gets donuts as offerings when i’m trying to get to class on time and avoid traffic, i once asked artemis to keep deer from jumping out in front of my car on a road trip home with an offering of granola/sports bars. when people get too formal with the gods and pull out the titles, i usually bail bc it makes me uncomfortable. my relationship with my deities is extremely deep and connected, and it’s not that people who have more formal relationships with them can’t also have those, but it’s that if i called hades “lord hades” with any seriousness, he’d hit me with a rock, basically.

i don’t judge other people for their practices or more formal relationships bc honestly, it’s between you and your gods, but like… my go-to offering is the pomegranate brookside dark chocolates, and yes. sometimes i eat them out of my offering dishes the next day.

i have managed to lose one out of a pair of rly nice earrings i have (it’s a matching set w a necklace) and i am very sad abt it (keeps forgetting abt it lmao)

i have levelled up my cooking skillz (can use oven) and i will not be using it at all lmao. fajitas for life (i have been trying to cook them for 2 days and the cooking lords have not been willing)

uhhhh. the gp last weekend was insane (my fav drivers did well !! wahoo!!) and there’s another next weekend which is nice.

i rly can’t think of much else rn lmao. i had a 2.5h facetime w my friend, which was only stopped bc her parents ft-ed her. truly a skill i say that ive consistently seen her more than her parents for 3 months consecutively

so update now that the weekend has passed, the storm wasn’t bad for my area (kind of embarrassed because i was such a weenie about it, but i can’t be blamed when the forecast said it would come straight through my area lol). unfortunately for others it was, and i hope they’re all safe and are able to recover from it quickly.
