I've been really anxious lately. I doodled this to try and calm down. It was supposed to be a test of watercolor brushes, but I ended up switching back to the one hoarse oil brush I'd gotten from Clip Studio Assets halfway through. It was fun to do all the colors on one layer again, though.

i know that hockey player/figure skater tropes/aus are getting really big right now (especially on tiktok. i think part of it is the big/small dynamic which is really creepy but what else do we expect) but i want hockey player/hockey player tropes.

give me character A getting their shit rocked into the boards, struggling to get over to the bench, and character B rushing over to help them.

give me the characters being on rival teams, and when the Big Fight inevitably happens in third period when the game is tied 2-2, they’re the only ones left on the ice after their whole lines get put in the box because they refuse to fight each other.

i want dumb chirps about hair and missing teeth. i want to see character B getting in fights about character A when character A is in a different fucking city because someone from the other team got a bit too personal.

i really want character B to be hit hard enough that they’re stretchered off the ice. character A tries to follow them to the hospital, but coach doesn’t let them leave, only for character A to get a phone call 15 minutes later because they’re character B’s emergency contact. (bonus points if they’re on opposite teams)

i just really want a full contact sport romance AU where both parties realize that whatever happens in the game is just that. a game. and that they love each other no matter what.

fun thing about pokemon sv is within the first ~5 minutes of the game i accidentally clipped the camera into a wall and it made my screen black and i was like huh thats strange and when i did it again and tried to progress i ended up locking the camera too high up on the screen and i could only move by pressing the menu button every few steps to realign it

Mage is chugging the haterade at this stage, it’s true. I used to try and be more fair but being detail-sensitive is double-sided and I lost a lot of that charitable nuance once it became clear that it just wasn’t useful to give him the benefit of the doubt when things seemed off. You can see my posts in the very beginning were a bit lighter before we crossed the Ranboo bridge; he has somehow continued to disappoint me from there, and I didn’t even think that was possible at this stage.

I never went through an epic fallout with him, it was more a slow erosion / putting the pieces of the puzzle together to get an offputting picture. I think I go after him hard because it is easy to miss these details if you’re looking for a silver lining or are new to him, so being in a community that keeps records of things and puts the pieces together is a good place to store this trashtalk. It just became clear that he’s got well-defined patterns that don’t seem to be changing, and I wanted to record them somewhere.   

I know I can be a bit abstract and don’t always cite concrete details to back up my descriptions, but I would like to think that what I post can be backed up with what I’m talking about at a given time. He has literally destroyed things from how self-centered he can get, in the origins SMP example. Since personality analysis is my thing, I was always going to have an eye out for the enduring patterns of his priorities, emotions & behavior, and themes of control and self-preoccupation kept beating out the other motives.

I wish I could present a more solid ‘evidence’ but I also think I’ve been transparent about the parts of my blog that are just advanced vibe-reading. By the time I started making judgement calls I had seen enough ‘that ain’t right’ moments to move past benefit of the doubt, but I didn’t witness a single turning point event beyond putting on an uncut origins vod and going “holy shit."
