Tour de Mayaan (a small waterfall in ou village "Mehra Rehmal", Abbottabad) It was the last summers when we planned to go for a summer break (2 days vacations apparently) to our village that is the most beautiful hilly area in kpk. 10th of May, 12 a.m and we started the fun hiking towards our destination. With all the giggles, laughters and hiking for about 2 and half hour, we finally reached. It was the utmost of the serenity, peace and positive energy. We sat down to start camping and making tea to regain ourselves. Cool breeze, the restless waves, the pleasant sound of the water fall and the tea, made the perfect ambience. We had the most amazing game in that lake, preferrably known as kass in our native language. And it was the volly ball 😊. Imagine 12 peeps around and volly ball in almost the coolest water that was actually freezing in May. What a nemorable experience. It all ended with a healthy grilled chicken (charcoal grilled chicken gives you devine taste of tenderness and juiceness when marinated overnight). Back to where I was, it was really tough to hike back up to the mountain. I mean really tough. Came back with the sore legs, backaches and what not but nyst say it was the trip to remember. In a short note, we really dont have time for such extravaganzas nowadays. Life with busiest routines, hustle all around, toughest work schedules makes us vulnerable for our family commitments and social networking. We barely know our cousins and their whereabouts. Where are we headed to?..we obsolute may have plenty of excuses but we cant deny the facts that we are actually getting away from our roots. These kind of nature networking is much needed where we can actually be ourselves and I tell you, the peace you can feel in your village is no where you can find. Tour de Mayaan (a small waterfall in my village "Mehra Rehmal", Abbottabad) A throwback to this amazing place. It was a destination with beauty instilled. Couldnt get my eyes away from the serenity of this little waterfall. It was actually the last summers when we planned to go for a village trip. 10th of May 12 a.m, and we started hiking. After a hike for about two and half an hour, we were there to camp. Made ourselves a good treat of tea. The sound of the waterfall, known as kass in our native language, cool breeze, and hot tea made a good ambience. After, started the craziness of playing volly ball in the water, swimming, taking selfies and what not. All ended with a good and healthy super of grilled chicken. The way back was quite tough, meaning really tough 😊 But still it was a trip to remember. We never get time to have a little get to gather with all the famkly members and cousibs. Village is a place where you can actually have the networking back in action. Staying connected to the roots has become a real challenge for human nowadays. Busy in the hustle, working till late nights, compromising on the family commintments has made the beautifully known normal life to a robotic life. We didnt have time for ourselves.
