I looked at a bunch of the reviews for characters on Dislyte and here’s what I saw:

Falken: Mostly horny. I love the comment “Why’s his waist so small? For guys to hold?” and also “Classic case of hotter in 2D” XD I think he mostly looks good in 3D but it’s just when he’s using his Falconer skill he looks kind of wonky and plastic.

Tang Xuan: Also pretty horny, but also I love that everyone had the same thoughts as me which was “t-boy swag”. And apparently they originally used a female character model for him in the beta? So yeah, this is canon whether the devs want it or not. My fave comment is “Happy pride month to this review section.”

Tang Yun: Some gross comments (horny≠gross) but mostly like his brother just a lot of queers claiming him/swooning over him. Some of my fav comments: “would marry this depressed yandere goth man” (literally so accurate), “my little meow meow” (correct term usage), “scrunckly boy” and “scrinkly boy” (sounds cute, hopefully isn’t terrible), and “poor boy must be dying of sensory overload having 6 ears”. And of course lots of comments about his big ole butt.

Mona: Mostly respectful and talking about how awesome she is and what a good DPS she is for beginners (very true). Love my gay daughter.

Sally: She’s a chubby woman who’s a support so of course most of the comments are about her being a mom 🙄. There were at least some ppl calling that out and saying she’s beautiful.

Xie Yuzhi: Thankfully I only saw like one inappropriate comment and then a bunch of ppl telling that person they’re gross. And don’t give me any discourse about short adults, i’m not say you can’t find him pretty, or cute, or whatever but if his appearance inspires horniness then that’s questionable.

Lu Yi: This poor man is just being torn a new one for his outfit.

Long Mian: Summed up as “he’s creepy but also super hot” and true. But also someone said “he’s just angsty cause his dog died.” and I thought that was a joke/John Wick reference but it was actually true asdgfdasdscdfv.

Unky Chai: It’s all basically just either “cool dude I’d like for an uncle” or “GILF” which is expected.

Arcana: HE IS A FASHION ICON AND I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS SLANDER! I WILL NOT!

Q: Poor sweet baby DX They introduced him as an annoying pervert and so now everyone absolutely despises him even though he’s sweet. More love for Q, I’m with the person who asked the devs to rewrite his story mode dialouge.

Sander and Drew: Oh God, my phone! My phone is melting!! They’re too horny, my phone is going to explode!!

Supernatural Survey

I was tagged by both @anyrei and @misspoogy the brilliant and dynamic fic writing duo. As I’m not only a fic whore who loves their work but also through the wonder of the interwebs I have become friends with them too I feel I must now complete this task put before me! :) Now for the challenge of answering these questions without sounding like a plagiarising pirate ACK! Here goes!

1. WHAT SEASON DID YOU START WATCHING SUPERNATURAL?

Season one first episode as it aired on TV. I was in my first long term relationship and it was one of the first shows we could both agree on to watch together. I’ll be honest though I stopped watching around/after season five for a few years because we ended up breaking up and it was hard, but eventually I came back to the show and my only regret was leaving him with the DVD season box sets I had bought after we broke up. lol

2. WHO WAS THE FIRST CHARACTER YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH?

Dean because I could really relate to many of the challenges he faced growing up and shouldering the burdens of life. Plus Jensen is one hell of an actor!

3. WHO WAS A CHARACTER THAT YOU HATED AT FIRST BUT GREW TO LOVE?

Rowena. I wasn’t that engaged with her character and basically zoned out on the scenes she was in and to be fair since she was a women I thought she was going to be killed off pretty quickly. It’s not that I hated her per-sey, I just didn’t connect right away. After a while seeing her character development grow and the writing witty banter improve with her character I started to adore her little quips and appearances. Not to mention seeing Ruth at a con and what a sweetheart she really is held sway over my heart too.

4. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST WANT TO BE IN A LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP WITH?

I’m going to answer this as though no one is dead. You would think I would say Cas, but he’s for Dean ;) I myself well damn...I love Charlie. Immensely. There’s also something about Joe too...I’m torn...Ahhh!!! Charlie.

5. IF YOU COULD GO ON A DATE WITH JUST ONE CHARACTER, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Just one date? If I could it would be with Cas.

6. WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON THAT DATE?

I would take him downtown to go to some comedy burlesque shows so I could see him laugh and then we could go dancing at some LGBTQ friendly night clubs or just enjoy some new sights. I would keep things light and show him art, beauty, love, and community. Maybe there would be some gelato involved. Basically just enjoy being who you are in your own skin and know that no one is really normal. It’s OK to be different and still express freedom and love life.

7. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST WANT TO BE LIKE?

Charlie, the girl’s got game and wicked hacking skills I wish I possessed.

8. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST WANT TO SEE BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD?

Since we know Cas will be back, I doubt any of you would be surprised to know that I want Charlie back.

9. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO PUNCH?

Bucklemming...OH wait! LOL for Character...Um Metatron just because he has potential and squandered it! I would want to Kill Lucifer for obvious reasons.

10. WHO IS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHARACTER?

Cas. Does this surprise anyone?

11. WHICH “BIG BAD” DO YOU THINK WAS THE WORST?

The big bad I hated the most had to be the whole Amara story line and the way they wrote her character was just god awful. <--Yeah I did that.

The best big bad on Supernatural? Lack of communication. LOL What?!

12. WHICH CHARACTER ARE YOU MOST LIKE?

Probably Dean to be honest. Don’t want to get into specifics but yeah, no chick flick moments. Also I’m bi As Fuck too...So there’s that.

13. WHAT DEATH HIT YOU THE HARDEST?

OK this is tough I was livid over Charlie and Eileen both. Each for completely different reasons. Cas I knew was coming back so didn’t affect me as much.

14. WHAT SEASON FINALE HIT YOU THE HARDEST?

Season 5. This was when the show was meant to end and it was around the time of the end of my 5 year relationship. Nothing was truly resolved, everyone hurt and everyone was just expected to keep moving on. Yeah. It sucked.

15. WHAT ARE YOUR TEN ALL-TIME FAVORITE EPISODES?

These aren’t in specific order, it would take too long to rank:

16. WHAT’S BEEN YOUR FAVORITE SEASON?

Over all I have to say season 12. I have loved the character development and growth.

17. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE ANGEL?

Castiel. But other than him? Gabriel. (Agreed didn’t even have to write this one)

18. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DEMON?

Meg. And yes while I’m a hardcore destiel shipper I did like Meg and her character growth and traits. She was a sassy witty badass and stood on her own playing field outside of all other demons.

19. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE EVIL CHARACTER?

Azazle there was just something so creepy and intelligent about him.

20. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUPERNATURAL SHIPS?

Nope. Hahahaha Just fucking with you. OF COURSE! Destiel is my OTP obviously, but here are a few others I like: Sabriel, Saileen, and it warmed my heart to think of Bobby/Ellen. I ship the shit out of Jody and Donna, and giggle at the thought of Crobby.

21. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE SUPPORTING ACTOR?

Felicia Day, Kim Rhodes, and Briana Buckmaster.

22. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE FROM THE SHOW?

Gay love can pierce through the veil of death and save the day.

23. IF YOU COULD CAST ONE FAMOUS ACTOR IN AN EPISODE OF SPN, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Ryan Reynolds just for the purposes of the outtakes. lol

24. IF YOU COULD WRITE YOUR OWN EPISODE, WHAT KIND OF CREATURES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE INCLUDED?

I think it would interesting and different if they did an episode with a lake monster like the Ogopogo or the Loch Ness and they would need to hunt out on a boat and way out of their depth.

25. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE GIRL THAT DEAN’S HOOKED UP WITH?

The impala...Oh wait...Well...I mean...Not really wrong am I?

26. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE GIRL THAT SAM’S HOOKED UP WITH?

Sarah from Season 2 brilliant sassy and would have made a great hunter. What I would have wanted to see was Sam and Eileen then that would have been my answer if we had her long enough to get that far. I mean she didn’t even sleep with Sam and the poor girl still died!

27. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE CONVENTION MOMENTS?

Rawr. You can’t unsee that now.

28. IF YOU WERE GOING TO GUEST STAR (OR BE A RECURRING GUEST STAR) ON SPN, HOW WOULD YOU WANT YOUR CHARACTER TO BE DESCRIBED?

Puts the Bite me into Bisexual. Oh wait, fuck, that’s Dean...Hang on... Like Xena only more leather. Yeah lol that works ;)

29. WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO SEE IN THE NEXT SEASON?

More character development and follow through with storylines. More Cas involved or at least acknowledged in the episodes. Seriously where the hell was Cas when Clair was being turned and why didn’t anyone call him?!
