The searing light dangled above her head, flickering aimlessly in a slow strobe that seemed to mock the way she squinted at the room around her. Their scents still lingered in the room, wreaking of gunpowder and kerosene. Gemina was entirely drained, her wounds held open by shards of broken glass as the burns on her wrists sizzled. It was all agony and yet she couldn't bring herself to move. Even as a shadow moved into sight, a voice distantly echoing in her ears, the vampire remained a boneless bone tied tot he chair they'd placed her in.

Small murmuring slipped past her lips of promises not to scream, vague begging for them to stop, all the while she felt cool hands soothing down her arms as the chains around her midsection loosened. Only once she'd collapsed into those arms as she fell forward out of the chair did she come to realize just who was holding her. Gemina stared up with blown pupils that seemed to drown out any sign of her stormy iris, blood dried around the edges of her silently mouthing lips.

Finally, she managed to utter his name out in a pained slur. "Tom?" She questioned. "Where-.. Where are the others?"
