Just dropped some new Art of one of Jewel’s Fan Children, Cole Jordaniels! And the Father being Aaron Jordaniels. (Jock/Zombies in Spaceland Version) Cole watches videos about people doing parkour, and the thing is, he does it with his friends as well, or with his Step Brother Jimmy Afton if he really wants to have fun. Right now, he is just sitting on a building while looking at the whole city. What do you guys think so far?

I saw you mentioned that you have been playing COD since 2011?!?! Omgg!! It's always nice to hear when ppl have been into something about the same amount of time as you have. I think I might have started in like 2009? I was literally like 10,11,12. Me and my cousin would watch my uncle play and then I was like I WANT TO PLAY TOO 😡 I remember me and my cousin playing one of the extra features on the game? Sorta of like zombies now but it was something else way back then I think. We ended up getting chased down my juggernauts in some house and got stuck in a bathroom literally fighting for our lives 😂 I've come a looong way from just playing the games to now playing the games and then scavenging the internet to find fics about them lmaooo
Yes!!! I started playing when the original MW3 came out!! I got a PS4 for Christmas and the game came with it lol. Of course, me having been denied video games up to that point went insane and thought it was the greatest thing I've ever played 😂
I was already very familiar with fanfiction at that point and there was a surprising number of fanfics for the originals. I'd say that's the first time I dipped my toes into the fandom, more as a spectator than a creator.
I didn't play again until Ghosts came out. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I still think it needs a sequel I cannot believe they just left us with that ending 😭
I didn't play the games again (well I didn't play any games at all) until 2020 when I bought myself a PS4. Then the lockdown happened and I decided to get back into the games and made my roommate at the time pull out her ps3 and played the original MW trilogy again. I got back into the fandom (which was still very small) and played through Ghosts again, played Advanced and Infinite Warfare and like one and a half of the Black Ops games. (I didn't really like them and couldn't get into the story. I know I'm sorry 😭). I bought the reboot Modern Warfare but then got distracted by a different fandom and it sat in my DVD case up until about 2022 when I went through and played the original series again and then broke down and played the first MW. This was pre-MWII reboot so the fandom was still very much small and almost nonexistent (at least on the platforms I was looking at).
Then I got back into it somehow this year. Honestly I cannot remember how. Probably was a tiktok or something 😭 and here we are!! The fandom exploded (love to see it) and I now have the most popular fic I've ever written 💚

CoD Notes: Zombies Memories
I think I remember playing Verruckt at a friend of a friend’s house as a kid, along with Dead Island. Very hazy memory. Otherwise I did WaW in order - nacht, verruckt, shi no numa, der riese. I spent the most time on nacht and der riese. Jeez the music comes back to my mind easily. Nacht - I remember getting Ray guns and LMGs and camping up by the closed off staircase on floor 2. Verruckt I played the least, I think. Shi No Numa I remember camping in the weird dead end on the first floor. I think I met an old 360 internet friend on that map. And Der Riese I remember camping the catwalk, of course, and trying to hold out as a long as possible with pack a punched guns. It seems silly now, that of course kiting/training is the only way to get to high rounds. I did play a bit on iPhone later and just a smidge on PC later including with mods.
Black Ops I remember playing a lot of Kino and Five, including with boys at school. Including playing solo while phone calling a kid from school who was also playing solo. And then I remember playing Ascension when a snow day hit the day of came out. I only got to try Call of the Dead at my cousins house and on iPhone much later. Never tried shangrila, moon except in, ahem, heavily discounted offline versions of BO1 and BO3 for moon.
Black Ops 2 I gave TranZit a fair shake but I think I only ever played solo. I do remember trying grief mode back when you could find a match. Shame that didn’t work out. This whole game’s zombie mode felt so experimental at ambitious at launch and that kind of didn’t take off until BOCW. Later tried an , ahem, heavily discounted offline version of nuke town, buried, die rise, mob, origins once each
Ghosts I played just the smallest amount of extinction, including I think once at a “chaos room” on a big projector screen setup.
Black Ops 3 I remember grinding out gun levels on Shadows, going for wall buys of guns I had unlocked the kit for. And I think I played a smidgen online. I think the free weekend on der eisenreiche is what made me get an, ahem, heavily discounted offline version of the game on PC and played all the zombies maps once or twice each.
Infinite Warfare I played a fair amount of solo ZiS just grinding gun levels.
WW2: I played a couple matches online and got decent progress on the “main quest”
BO4: I grinded a lot of solo IX to get xp and gun levels and my daily tier skip for the battle pass. Played voyage and blood too but much less.
BOCW: bought it for zombies back when there was only one map and played it to death. Got absolutely everything fully upgraded at the time. Didn’t play much of maps 2 of 3 and only a bit of outbreak.
MW3: beat the first 2 acts of MWZ

Just got done with the Seventh Part for the Art Trade. Starting with Slot 4, Glitter-Chan/GabbKun. She asked me for Ship Art with her Two Tomodachi 8 Nin OCs, Gabby and Goncha’s Daughters, Ivory and Sparky with Jewel’s Sons, my FNAF OC Jimmy Afton and my Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies OC Cole Jordaniels. I really had a comfortable time doing this one, although it did took me a while to finish it. What do you guys think?

Cod Zombies Hot Takes Nobody Asked For
I might not ever post this but I’m bored and I might as well write these down before the Cod zombies thoughts leave my brain again for the next month:
-I could do a whole post complaining about this but while Vanguard zombies wasn’t good the hate that it got was far more annoying than the game itself.
-There is no such thing as a bad zombies map/game/characters. It all comes down to personal preference. I personally like Bo4 more than Bo2 but I get why most people prefer Bo2.
-Even now that my recency bias has worn off, I still think that CW is the best zombies mode for just gameplay and accessibility alone. The only real downsides are the lack of content (though now comparing it to the other games I don’t think it’s all that bad) and the fact that all the good cosmetics are locked behind a paywall.
-People really aren’t gonna like this one- but I think Ultimis is kind of the worst crew in the franchise. Looking back they’re not really funny, their story is very inaccessible (I could make a whole post about how much I loathe the early storytelling of CodZ and how you had to rely on biased retellings of easter egg hunters and youtubers), and almost everything good or interesting about each character is portrayed far better in their Primis counterpart.
-Zombies maps/modes are overall better when they’re made for casual players (coming from someone who is very much NOT a casual player).
-There is no reliable way to measure how “good” or “skilled” someone is at zombies, besides maybe CW’s Onslaught mode (but skill shouldn’t, matter, what should matter is if you’re enjoying the game).
-Samantha is one of the least problematic protagonists in zombies compared to the others we’ve had in the past (but there’s nothing wrong with calling her out for her flaws either).
-Most remakes or remasters of previous zombies maps are objectively better than their previous version and those who prefer the older versions honestly confuse me a little bit.
-Any and all conversations about a canon Requiem Strike Team should at least include Lawrence Sims and Helen Park.
-I’ve said this before but Dr. Elizabeth Grey is the most unique main crew member in the entire franchise simply based on her principles and morals alone.
-Infinite Warfare zombies had the best “on disk” map (but in every game after Bo4 this concept doesn’t matter).
-Most of the popular zombies youtubers these days actively do more harm than good to the “community” and most of these youtubers are aware of this and don’t care.
-The “operator” character selection system is actually really cool and more fun than having your character randomly chosen for you each match. I agree that there should be a set of four “canon” operators for the story that have more voicelines but you should still have the option to play as whoever you want.
-Anyone who denies the canon queerness of Samantha and Richtofen (and by extension Grey, Park, Krafft, anyone else I missed, etc.) is not worth the time of day in this fandom. No exceptions.
