The journey back
As we descended our way and came closer to the campsite, I observed that our euphoria was over, the entire cycle of emotions we went through was complete and we were left with exhaustion, just pure exhaustion. It was around 10.30 am, faster descent time than the time Nishant had expected. They were expecting a turnaround time of 11 am- 11,30 am. Well none of us reacted to it, reaching faster,…

Mountains of life 🏔️🍃
June 2022
📍The Himalayas
Rupin pass trek🏔️
I dedicate this trek to the warrior inside me✨
The process 🌼
I was at point in my life where I was feeling lost and not sure in which direction to take the next step. Universe has this amazing way to put us on the right path and make things possible for us. We just have to trust the process and listen to our inner voice. One day I came across this beautiful post by Indiahikes on Instagram about Rupin pass trek and couldn’t resist myself to book for the trek.
Rupin pass is the moderate-difficult Himalayan trek which requires proper preparation. Very high altitude of 15,279 ft makes it really challenging one. After months of preparation I finally went for a trek.
Witnessing the majestic view of Himalayas🏔️
Words would never be enough to express the way I felt after seeing the majestic mountains (The Himalayas) right in front me.
Tumblr media
Tough climb
With every step towards the summit I discovered this amazing warrior inside me who kept me going through all the challenges along the way.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Beautiful people 🌸
An introvert girl, who finds difficult to express herself in front of strangers somehow found the confidence to express and connect with amazing humans she met in mountains. I just can’t get over the feeling of how liberating it was to share my life experiences with strangers whom I might never meet again. I discovered this amazing part of myself during this beautiful adventure in the mountains.

Our mesmerising night sky⭐️
After seeing the mesmerising night sky 🌌during my trek I realised how much we are disconnected from the outer space due to light pollution. This night sky with countless stars, Milky Way and shooting stars gives us peace. They are the beautiful reminder that we belong to much larger world..🌌🌙⭐️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gratitude 🏔️✨
During this journey of 6 days I realised how powerful these mountains are…I bow down 🙏🏻 to these majestic mountains🏔️ for allowing me to be there and witness their beauty.

The summit 🏔️

Tumblr media
Reaching the summit felt like a great accomplishment but more than that I feel my biggest achievement during that trek was learning to enjoy the journey and embrace the challenges I faced along the way.
That state of deep inner peace attained after letting go of all the fears and anxiety which was holding me back in form of tears rolling down my eyes was so liberating..
I discovered this immense inner strength and now there is no going back..This little warrior inside me will never give up!
It was the wonderful way of universe to make me discover the amazing potential I possess✨
I will always keep climbing the mountains of life..❤️

The Complete Triund Trek Guide
The Triund trek is one of the most popular weekend treks from Delhi and Chandigarh. It is possibly the easiest Himalayan trek to complete on your own.
It is also very picturesque, with breathtaking views of the Kangra valley and the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges.
Triund is the ideal destination for those looking for a hassle-free taste of Himalayan trekking. The journey can be completed in a single weekend.
Triund's trail is short but steep. The steep ascent is offset by refreshing walks among rhododendron and oak trees. There are also numerous songbirds in the forests along the trail, making it a birdwatcher's paradise.

What to Look Out For
1. The trek's view of the Mighty Dhauladhar Range and other peaks
The trek provides some of the best views with very little elevation gain. You don't have to go deep into a valley like Manali or climb for days to get some spectacular views.
The Moon Peak, Rifle Horn, Arthur's Seat, and the mighty Dhauladhar range are all visible from the start of the trek.
2. Trekking in Himachal Pradesh's beautiful pine forests
Although the forest section of this trek is small, it takes you through a lovely forest segment that you will remember the trek for.
Triund trek, Indiahikes, Rhododendrons Himachal Pradesh Treks, Himachal Pradesh Treks Treks
Beautiful red Rhododendrons amongst the Pinewood. Picture by Ragja Palakkadavath
The trek takes you through rhododendrons, pine, and coniferous trees. Trekking through the forest and the grand opening of the ridge at the end of the tree line is a sight to experience.
3. Triund Trek's Stunning Sunset
The sunset is perhaps the most memorable aspect of the triund trek height, and it is what draws all trekkers to stay overnight and camp on the ridge. When you look behind you, you can see the sun setting and some golden light hitting these mountain ranges.

Is Triund Trek legal? Difficut
triund trek package is one of the easiest treks in the Himalayas and can be completed on your own if you start from the Gallu Devi temple trail.
There are no particularly difficult sections, but there are a few things to keep in mind while trekking.
Trekking on sections with slippery rocks and boulders. Wear proper trekking shoes and bring trekking poles with you on the trek.
If you are trekking from the Bagsu waterfalls alternative route, you must be cautious of steeper and more slippery sections. This is not a popular route for first-time hikers.

How to Prepare for a Triund Trek
The triund trek distance is rated as an Easy trek. The trek is easy, but there is a 3,000-foot elevation gain. For people who live sedentary lives, the constant ascent can be quite taxing.
Here's a guide to getting in shape for an Easy trek in 4 weeks.
Endurance Cardiovascular
If you're just getting started with a fitness routine, start slowly and gradually increase your pace every day as follows:
When you first start, aim to complete a 5 km brisk walk in 50 minutes.
Increase your pace gradually by walking 5 km three times per week.
As you gain confidence, incorporate jogging into your routine.
Increase your jogging distance gradually. a workout until you can complete 5 km in 45 mins.
If you prefer cycling over running, target covering 12 km in 60 minutes when you begin.
Progressively increase your pace to cover 15 km in one hour.
Strength Training
This is an important area you need to work on.
See Also Kasol & Tosh Trek, Kasol Tosh Trek :-
Flexibility
The amount of movement your bones can make in any direction around joints like your shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees is determined by flexibility.
It is a feature that will make your journey more comfortable. However, when carrying a backpack, light can become a strain. Stretching your hamstrings, quadriceps, hip flexors, and lower back muscles on a regular basis promotes tissue relaxation and reduces strain on your back.
If you are unable to jog outside due to time or space constraints, here is a video that you can use to work out indoors.
