no because imagine having a dazai in the fontaine plot too?? genshin remaking the prison arc with fyodor and dazai, except fyodor being the chief justice of sorts and dazai being a mastermind criminal with an insanely high bounty. arc ends with dazai managing to escape, and it’s revealed that they knew each other when they were younger and dazai had always been a kind person to fyodor, so he decided to let his emotions cloud his judgement just once and let the one he considers his dear friend evade capture.

even though fyodor, now neuvillette, might end up being executed for letting such a criminal escape from fontaine’s grasps, he supposes it might not be too hard to bend the nation to his will. he does have enough blackmail he collected over the years, after all...

Am I the only one, who finds the lore of descendants of those, who abandon their gods, turning into hilis, ridiculous?

You want to tell me, that in the whole history of teyvat, nobody ever witnessed their unbelieving uncle turn into a hilichurl, because he spit on the imagine of the shogun or something?

Doesn’t Kaeya's character story imply that he was born and raised in Khaenri'ah (or what remained) before his father brought him to the strange lands of Mondstadt (the literal starter region that is so basic)

If the HSR crew did the lore of Genshin we would have known about his childhood before Mondstadt by know.

Man, if the Genshin crew did HSR lore than Dan Heng's secret and story arc would have been resolved 5 patches later lol

- Yes, they have to enter Khaenri'ah for the hilichurl curse to work. The act of turning against your archon is easy because archons come and go. The major difference is that by choosing to stay in Khaenri'ah, you are basically declaring that you are against Celestia and the seven

- People have observed others turn into monsters before. In fact, Khaenri'ah is not the first nation Celestia cursed. Turning into a monster is also not as fast as most people think it is.

- Caribert was implied to have stayed in Khaenri'ah for a while with Clothar's voiceline where he tells Caribert that there is "no more red sky". Clothar brought his lover and his illegitimate son closer to him, and that was their downfall. He met the prerequisites I mentioned above.

- Khaenri'ah probably knew that non-purebloods going to the surface would turn them into monsters, if the Perinheri tale is to be trusted. They would end up choosing a select number of families or clans that they know are purebloods (non-Teyvatian). Arguably, this could be why the Alberich clan was so hell-bent on keeping blood purity.

- The Cataclysm is basically a "die here if you choose to stay" or "leave this place and lose your humanity" situation

-Kaeya's story does not imply that he was in Khaenri'ah. At most, they mentioned his father teaching him and talking about their clan, but no direct mention of Kaeya ever having stepped foot inside it. Additionally, Kaeya's attitude of subtly trying to research more about Khaenri'ah somewhat implies that he doesn't have much information other than anything related to his "mission" from his father. Again, Kaeya was once a little boy who purposely attempted to run away from the Ragnvindr family when he saw a chance to go to Sumeru and, therefore, learn more about Khaenri'ah.

- Lmao don't expect any Mondstadt slander from me. I love that nation, and I know that nation so much that I believe there is something more to it. Also, do note that Mondstadt is a hub for people with mysterious lore, not just Kaeya. I guess we can argue that Mond is a starter nation for all of them too ig.

First, he's so sweet to us?? I actually think it's pretty in character for him to be nice to us even if the trailblazer was hostile towards him before. He wants to have friends and since he's obviously Not Well mentally he probably thinks it's okay if they're mean as long as they're willing to stay by his side and maintain somewhat friendly relationship with him.

Also I was right all along, he DOES try to spoil people in order for them not to leave him. "That's what friends are for" my ass, I want to kill myself now. Aven wtf. His views on friendship and his self value are still so messed up I feel so bad for him honestly. Well, at least he's learning to be more vulnerable, even if he needs to pretend it's a little game in order to make it more comfortable (and to be less bothersome ig, BUT HE WAS NEVER BOTHERSOME)

So now we learned that Gallagher is actually...13 years old....I think it was pretty straightforward since Sunday said that he was a combination of all the family members, and as we know with the npc Lesley, that's very much possible, especially if he was made of memories, as long as there's something keeping Gallagher's consciousness together.

Edit : I'm sure if anything Gallagher has lived for 13 years in this form not that he was born 13 years ago, cuz u know, if he was friends with Mikhail he can't actually be just 13

Ig it also makes more sense now for Gallagher to address Sunday as "big brother" whatever tf that meant, I initially thought Sunday was one of the many "children" of the watchmaker but that can't be true since he was adopted by the dream master, I'm sure he'd limit his contact with the watchmaker and even nurture his hatred towards him

Anyway...we learned that robin technically did actually die in the dream yet she's still alive, aventurine planning on doing the same as her and going to the place beyond the harmony's walls. firefly supposedly died the same way as robin, from her letter she said that she was going to meet the meme. Firefly being a stellaron hunter could posses some knowledge or well elio would know of the Truth beyond penacony, that's how she came back from death. I think all of the deaths are legit, as in, it was *real* inside the fabricated dream, but you can come back just like firefly and Robin did. I believe Sunday knew who firefly was and that she was alive but for some reason believed robin didn't escape death the same way? Maybe it was shock or grief but in any case..

all I'm saying is Sunday already knew of Gallagher's connection to the meme and allowed him to venture deep into dewlight pavilion, my dear Sunday, I trust you are smart enough to foresee the danger and not leave your back exposed, it's the situation and the circumstances you wanted after all

On a side note I'm happy aven talked to the npcs we already talked to! And that he is getting character development AS the story progresses, we don't see that in genshin much so I'm glad hsr is different.

since sunday talks more in 2.1 it's much more noticable, his first 3 lines or so are extra friendly and gentle, sweeter than his customer service voice, and then slowly start to become more apathetic till he uses the harmony powers and it becomes ruthlessly cold, and at the end when aven started losing it his voice returned to being drippy sweet, like he's mocking him. then when he meets acheron and welt his voice is pretty back to his real tone, apathy! thanks hoyo im someone who's heavily attracted to voices you just had to awaken my unhealthy obsessions again!

(btw i play in jp so im talking abt it, i by no means think jp is the elite dub)

aventurine was confident abt his advantage over sunday, he first comes strong trying to overpower him in their silly mind game, basically asserting his dominance by telling him how anxious and antsy he is, and how he already knows everything sunday is thinking abt, leaving sunday unable to impose much demands. it was a good deal for aven, he gets to corner and benefit sunday at the same time.

that was until sunday channeled the harmony's power ( i think everyone guessed it he should be an emenator), it might've been a bluff that not answering has consequences, but it was far too risky to actually try, it was that instant of doubt and fear that threw all of aven's momentum and the dynamic shifted, he not only understimated sunday but didnt expect him to carry xipe's will.

i think it's telling of sunday's character when he uses exact seconds to tell time, that is 1.8 minutes not even a full 2

i think it's also a bit weird how sunday keeps talking as if he is a conveying xipe's will when he is mostly doing stuff on his own, it's almost like xipe's will aligns with him not the other way around.
