Alright. Full disclosure. This is a really good fic. But … I’ve never understood the whole - ‘it makes Bill Cipher into a redeemable character’ thing. Bill feels well rounded and it gives Bill Cipher good motivations for the show. But … he’s still actually a rather genuinely rude person who does bad stuff with only slightly more understood reasons. If anything it just pulls him from psychopath to misguided. I don’t feel sorry for him, I’m just six times more interested in him as a character. The cops shot a bomb into his house- and he was shocked- woke up- and thought he was being targeted by gangs.

Why?

Because in the past Mr Rosas testified against gangs- and they came after him.

Why did CCPD shoot a bomb into his house then?

They had a warrant for a relative- for pot.

Huh?

Yes- and Mr Rosas did shoot- thinking he was being attacked.

The cops also shot Mr Rosas- and the cops also shot each-other and charged Rosas with that gun wound as well.

I know this sounds unbelievable- but it is all true- the case received national criticism by other police agencies- and civil rights groups.

Yet- the CCPD and DA charged Rosas with attempted murder on the cops.

The judge- Guy Williams- recommend the defendant to sue.

Ok- being the national media and other agencies all said this was a disaster- when did chief Markle apologize- and promise they would never use a flash bomb on a citizen again- for a pot bust?

Markle- till this day- defends his actions- and the CCPD are challenging Mr Rosas in court.

Now- the money the city saved by cutting funding to the crime prevention district- should be used to get a police chief who knows what he’s doing.

To correct the problems- that not just I speak about- but the entire nation for heavens sake.

I did before- the national media ran stories- Guy Williams the judge said the defendant should sue [which he is] and yet- after all this- chief Markle insist they did no wrong- and might actually do it again.

The cops could have killed each other- and Mr Rosas.

The day of the Lord also takes place now- when God’s people expose the hidden things of darkness.

When they speak out for the young Black girl who will be traumatized for life- because her moms boyfriend was murdered in cold blood- for all the world to see.

When the system let the person who murdered the Black man off- though it was murder.

Murder is never an accident- something that just happened by mistake- no- it’s already in the heart-

It’s a bias that already exists within sinful man- if you deem someone less than you- and you hate that person- race- or simply have suspicions about them- based on personal bias- then you are liable to murder them.

Look- I never met that brother before- yet- in 5 minutes we gave each other a hug after we were done talking.

If I judged him- as a threat- because of his ethnicity and stereotyped him- because he was homeless and on the street.

Then my guard would have been up- then when he asked me for a cigarette I might have avoided him.

But if we love our brother- and we don’t have racial bias- then we won’t have the inclination to kill our brother-

And then call it an accident.

Yes- the church has a voice in society.

When we speak out- then light comes.

And then the city of Corpus Christi will be able to live up to the meaning of her name.
