It Will Always Live
Inspired by both It Lives Beneath and It Lives Within. I just love the iconography of the marlinspike and turning a weapon of torture back on the torturers... but I also love the way the Power LOOKED in ILW. So... why not combine them? I'm imagining ILW's MC in a situation similar to ILB and breaking free, with Josephine's final marlinspike as her weapon.
Dita, as always, gets to play the role. 💖 (And yes, that's Abel's dress shirt she's wearing. 😘 )
DazStudio and Photoshop.
June is for Pride, May is for Wrath.

My god, there's so many different endings from the looks of it, it's kind overwhelming 😭 but in a good way
If anyone has like, a masterpost or something similar to that, that summarizes all of them (because it'd probably take so long to go into all of them in detail lol) it would be appreciated
idk about a master post but it can be broken down into a few main categories. Big ending spoilers below the cut!
SUCCESSFUL:
Non Betrayal
Shadow - MC merges with their Power half and returns to the Power dimension, leaving behind humanity and their friends. They kill Matthias by cutting him off from the Power, so he disintegrates. Within this route, you can either keep the gate open and allow the Power to remain connected to our world, or separate it entirely.
Mixed - MC doesn't merge Power or human, they remain in their human body with a connection to the Power, and they stay behind in Westchester to protect the Power and find the remaining horrors. The Power turns Matthias into its own anchor. The Power is not fully healed, but it is contained. If they have an LI who is not Jocelyn, they will start a long distance relationship while the other LIs try to move forward with their life in a way that makes sense for them.
Blood - MC merges with the original Rowan's spirit, becomes fully human. The Power turns Matthias into its own anchor, same as mixed. In blood, MC leaves Westchester (with their LI if they have one) and try to live a normal life where they go to school and leave behind the fighting and the Power and all that.
Betrayal
Shadow - if MC betrays everyone and merge shadow, then you will end up facing off against Noah/Devon (whoever was revived) and turn them into the new anchor. MC and Matthias take the Power from the ritual, killing everyone at the carnival. You then have the option to share the Power with Matthias and get your happily ever after villain romance ending, or you can kill Matthias and take all the Power for yourself.
Blood - Matthias will dump MC when he realizes that they're fully human, and go back to trying to make them his anchor. MC kills him instead, and takes the Power for themself, but it's extremely painful because they just severed their connection to the Power and are fully human. MC's friends realize that they were trying to betray them and Noah/Devon (whoever was revived) kicks MC out of Westchester.
FAILED:
In non-betrayal routes, if you fail, Matthias kills MC and makes them his new anchor. Then he runs off and MC's friends will mourn them in the epilogue.
In a non-blood betrayal, if MC's nerve is too low OR they did not merge, then Noah/Devon will kill MC AND Matthias, and hand MC over to the Power to be judged and made into a new anchor.
In a blood betrayal route, Matthias can kill MC if their nerve is too low and make them into his anchor, and it's pretty much the same as a non-betrayal route where he kills MC.
