I see so many posts of people heading back to school, college mostly, and reading their posts most are so young sounding (do not mean this in a negative way) and I’m shook. Their worries are so different. I too was in college at 20 and simultaneously getting married and having my first kid. And I’m like fuck I was so young wth was a thinking starting a family. But here I am 7 years later, still married to the same man and we have two kids and a beautiful home and I’m like wow. Sometimes I still feel like that same 20 yr old and other times I’m like nope I’m almost 30.

Back to reality today & after a crazy month I can’t believe June is almost here. But.. My little brother graduated college and I am ridiculously proud of all that he has accomplished. I sometimes feel like I’m the younger sibling. He’s heading into a career of law enforcement and although that thought scares the begeezus out of me, I’m proud that he’s making the choice to try and make a difference in this chaotic world we live in.
