Brooke cocked her head to the side and quickly looked back at Eli for confirmation for what you just said. His face was dead on in your direction, so she just took it as, "Go with the flow."

Norton

"No? I love you."

Would get emotional because he thinks you're gonna friendzone him, or worse, reject him.

Once you explain that you're not that great at wording and you just wanted to accentuate what your saying into shorter terms, Norton finally understands that you're not directly telling him you dont share the same feelings.

He though you were making fun of his confession for a bit a first

Um, I think so?

"I do like you Y/n, but it's far greater than 'like like'."

He also thinks you're gonna friendzone him.

He tries not to question you as this is a serious moment and he doesn't want it to be more awkward as it already is.

But he caves and asks you what you mean by 'like like'. You explained it to him and Naib thought it was one of the most dumbest ways you could try to say attracted.

"Why couldn't you have said romantically attracted?"

"Well, because, uhhh idk cause it was easier."

"Omfg..."

He still loves you, he just looks at you as a bit dumber than he thought (Not like that changes his feelings about you. Naib loves that you're a bit aloof and will cherish you everyday of his life no matter what)

William

Likes how you two get along so well! He thinks that you basically said that you liked him as much as he likes you, so strap in and hold on bc you're in for one hell of a ride.

You explain it to him and he's greatly relived. He really thought he embarrassed himself there and lost the chance with you forever.

He's used to your way of talking, but he just got so nervous while confessing that he just freaked. Ganji's mind ran through so many scenarios and mishaps when you said that.

"Oh *ahem* then, I guess I do 'like like' you..." (He's blushing and looking away shyly as we speak >\\\<)

Kevin

Very much same energy given. Kevin loses his flirty persona and gives you genuine reactions.

He thinks you're so cute when you're aloof. Your questioning makes him want you even more.

Crazy question — ur name looks REALLY familiar for some reason. Were you like, a big person in the IDV fandom or something? I swear I’ve seen this name before?

If it’s who you’re thinking of, yes I was. However nobody had asked for my side of the story and just jumped to conclusions.

I’m aware that I was accused of being a groomer but here is the thing— those screenshots were edited.

I have said some sexual stuff but that was because I myself was groomed, and I hadnt come to that realization until AFTER I was already harassed, thanks to a therapist. I truly wish I could have realized before but it’s too late now.

Of course, at the time, I couldn’t even say something like “that wasn’t me! Those were edited!” Because people (especially on Twitter) don’t tend to believe the accused.

There was also the fact that constant harassment had really tanked my mental health, to the point that I had seriously committed suicide just so people would stop. And I had the “genius” idea to try and talk on Twitter about how I would commit, but people simply thought I was baiting.

Which brings me to the next point: my “confession”

I had said I did all that stuff just in the naive thought that it would get people to leave me alone. It didn’t. And now people who weren’t even in my friend group tried to bring it up. There really was no way to get people to stop other than to just delete my Twitter and rename my other accounts.

In the following days, under the delusion (remember, low mental health) that maybe they would realize they were wrong and would apologize, I kept visiting my closest ex-friends tiktok accounts, unaware that they could see I had visited them.

This all culminated in them confronting me and ironically, helping me break out of that delusion.

It ended with me finally agreeing to go no-contact and leave them alone, with one of them confessing that both sides went too far (and I agree that I did), leaving that on a more positive note.

And now I don’t really interact with that fandom due to the bad memories it brings, and try to limit any possible interaction with it as I can.

Tl;dr: I fucked up and if there was a way to go back and say things differently, I would take it.

Hoarse, but quiet, not timid. After all, being drugged up to numb the pain made Pearce feel more weak than normal. His tone tired, dejected even.

"You c-could have died... o-or worse... I bet you expect pr-praise for it..."

Weakly turning his head away, The Shepherd took small shallow breaths. Almost like he was afraid to breath too loudly.

".... You're an idiot, but thank you... I guess..."

His head and body acted, unfocused vision just zoning in and out of the objects in front of him. Hell, Archer no doubt was ignoring him or sleeping.

It didn't matter what they were, he knew it it was over. Or what he kept thinking he was. He too was abandoned, left to rot. So why did they help?

" .... Can't sleep..."

Tiredly, Archer flopped to their side to face Pearce's bed. Their body was fatigued and restless as they laid there with an IV in their arm. Fingers plucked at the sheets underneath.

"I wasn't aware that was going to happen," Archer said honestly, voice quiet in their silence, not wanting to raise their voice and break the peace of the medical wing.

If they could, Archer would have shook their head but they couldn't muster the energy at the moment so they settled for a quiet sigh. "No. I don't expect praise for my selfish actions or most of my actions not do I want praise for such things. I act on my own selfish desires of wanting to protect those I love and care for...even if it does end with my death," Archer confessed quietly.

They laid there quietly for a moment before looking at their tightly wrapped fingers. "It started off as worry and fear...of you doing the same thing again with the knife, I've seen too many people take their own lives to escape their demons," Archer mumbled, for once sharing about themselves. "Then when I heard voices...I felt keeping the knife away from you - especially while you were recovering - might have helped much more in your progress so I didn't mind that burden. Carrying something like that if it meant someone I still care about could rest then I could deal with what came my way," they moved to thumb the large bite mark on their arm.

"I wasn't expecting what Alu did and I couldn't do much besides do his game and survive. The last thing I wanted was for him to try using my body to hurt you and others....so yeah...I might be an idiot," Archer agreed with a dry chuckle. "But it's just one of my traits - an idiot who keeps fighting," Archer continued to chuckle without being aware of the tears gathering in their eyes.

There was a quiet sniffle as they blinked away their blurry vision and buried their face a little into the pillow. They were quiet again for a little bit before they softly started to hum a little lullaby. It was something they could remember doing, the melody so familiar but the words long lost to them. Archer didn't know how else to help his insomnia besides doing something that she knew helped blurred figures of little kids.

missing an eye from the mining incident, also has asthma & black lung from the incident. gets phantom pains a lot

he won't ever cut his hair or shave his facial hair again due to how long it took him to grow it back from the incident

has night terrors, auditory & visual hallucinations due to really bad PTSD

low empathy/sympathy, never had time to process his emotions well, having ASPD and autism

also due to never being able to have time to express himself freely, if he is overwhelmed with an emotion of joy he tends to tremble or tear up, and because of this often goes on a "walk" to avoid social interaction while he composes himself

social chameleon -- knows that he has to be socially caught-up and "likeable" to help his odds in survivability, he comes off as very null at first as he gauges a social group before quickly becoming a people pleaser in his own way whilst setting strict boundaries to not mess with him

in fact, most of the things he does is for survivability though often times unnoticed. he will actively overanalyze things and keep his true thoughts to himself buried deep in his chest out of fear of being ostracized which could lead to less of a chance of surviving in his mind

he isn't very expressive, a monotone gravely voice that has been rasped by years of working in the mines and a stone cold "dead face" that stares at you. even if he's incredibly comfortable with you, this is something he is working on due to his own personal workings

his name isn't actually Norton Campbell, it's a name he picked up to get easier work outside of Mexico & because I enjoy playing with the idea that he faked his own death to try to escape that life of poverty

he enters fight or flight very quickly if push comes to shove

he has intense pyrophobia & struggles with claustrophobia now due to the mining incident. he is also scared of the dark, but he will never confess to that

being a bit superstitious, Norton actively avoids graveyards if possible & is terrified of crows, but again, he may never confess to that.

Norton genuinely believes that opening up will give people leverage over him or knowledge to be weaponized against him, so if he ever opens up to someone it means he genuinely does trust them wholeheartedly. alongside this, he would never confess to his pains, physical or mental disabilities out of fear of people using this as a way to step over him to get what they want

he was pulled out of school to work in the mine, but on his little free time would vigorously study with hopes to become some sort of chemist, geologist or gemologist, having a distinct passion for these fields. during the time in the manor would probably sneak off in the night to the library to study whatever he can get his hands on, but he would rather drop dead than confess that if you ever catch him studying

he also really loved birds growing up, a special interest of his. when he was younger he released a cage of canaries to the mining crew's dismay and earned the nickname "Canario" (Canary) to mock or belittle his "heroic act", because in his mind if he couldn't be free of working in the mines, the beautiful songbirds should instead of being condemned to the mines until they die like him, surely. he actually took that name with stride as he grew up, even keeping the "C" from that name to pick out his new surname when he left his old town behind as he picked out the name "Campbell"
