i really love young Basim ok? He’s kind and respectful and every time I think an annoying trope is going to happen it doesn’t. Can we talk about how adorable of a grandfather Shinra would be to Kid and the Thompson sisters? We all saw how he treated his little bro Sho, could you IMAGINE how dotting he’d be to the trio!?

Some small headcanons below :3c

I feel like if Shinra was actually apart of Kid’s early life, Kid would definitely be more at peace with his Madness of Order. Like seriously, Lord Death was straight up dismissive of Kid and his issues even though he knew how distressing they were to his son. Shinra, on the other hand, knows all too well what it’s like to be dismissed, and in turn, would absolutely sympathize and take the time to listen and understand Kid and what’s troubling him.

Shinra’s open and understanding way of thinking would definitely help Liz and Patty as well—especially when they first arrived in Death City. From the moment Kid introduced them to Shinra he’d absolutely start pushing them to be better people, teaching them in the process how to deal/cope with haunting pasts and reputations. Also, they’ve all been labeled as “devil’s” during their lives and they absolutely bond over this ^^

Kid and the sisters have been through similar experiences to Shinra, so it just warms my heart at the thought of them having someone to turn to when needed <3
