Hot Pepper, Lemon and Broccoli for all of your lil guys
I was planning on writing a whole post for the entire thing unprompted but thank you so much for asking 🥺
I'm gonna do it just for Icarus and Skunk because they're the blorbos I'm working with the most nowadays. Here's the ask list.
🌶️ [HOT PEPPER] Who would your OC declare their sworn enemy if they could meet them?
Icarus: Unironically, Jerry Seinfeld. Very convoluted reasoning.
Skunk: He doesn't harbor that sort of strong emotion, but I'm sure that he'd get a chip on his shoulder about a few charity workers and christian ladies here and there.
🍋 [LEMON] What is their kryptonite/ultimate weakness?
Icarus: His lack of physical prowess. He is small, scrawny, weak, and his immune system is terribly prone to both failing and letting him get sick and overreacting to give him the worst of the hay fevers. He's built like wet toilet paper.
Skunk: Just like the mighty shedinja, he is immune to most forms of damage. And much like it indeed, he only has 1 HP. He's also the perfect candidate for the devil to tempt and trap into Hell on Earth, which kind of actually happened to him.
🥦 [BROCCOLI] What do they hate about humanity/their species?
Icarus: This is a very complicated question for him to answer, because he doesn't think much about this stuff. The fact that humans made living so complicated and that it gets worse the younger you are gets to him sometimes. His parents had it better than he does, and his children have it worse.
Skunk: Definitely how selfish and non-empathetic people can be when it comes to strangers. He's heard the worst from all kinds of people, and from people that definitely would be called upstanding members of their communities and the kindest person ever in their eulogies. He doesn't believe in Kindness of Strangers anymore.

I liked your poem about Icarus, friend. It made me sad. Thinking about that poor little boy, plummeting to his death and terrified in his last moments. I hope he made it to Hades.
didn’t you read it? he was not afraid. he shouted it so loud he almost convinced himself

went into your icarus post as it came by my dash expecting haha funny joke about greek mythology and got stabbed in the emotions. I love how the format and vernacular of a tumblr post affects how the poem is read, like, new reply as new stanza but also a new update in a liveblog, each stanza a moment in the story without being like a continuous narrative? idk if I'm articulating that right but it works really well. also whether or not there's a period at the end of a line, bc tumblr ppl don't use periods to end thoughts unless we mean them, so the difference between "i cannot hold on" and "i slip through his fingers." giving the second one a stronger sense of finality.... ouch dude!!! strong emotional impact. Anyway this poem has been haunting me for days, I hope you have an excellent week
i appreciate u!! i honestly wasn’t expecting that to blow up i was just fucking around on tumblr while i put my makeup on 😭 but thanks!! i’m glad people enjoyed it
