🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?

ohh he’s such a good liar...he is. he lied for most of his life as a job, changing up his identity, his name, sooo many times, preteding he’s someone he’s not...he mastered the art of lying truly. i think the only way to tell he’s lying is knowing him real well, you know how you can tell if someone very close to you like a best friend is lying or something with them sounds fishy? you don’t know why but you feel that bullshit is being served, well yeah that’s how it goes for fenix. be it maybe a slight variation to his tone, his speech pattern or his behaviour but you just feel it. the best way to not be fooled by this man is knowing him and that’s not exactly easy dskfh

😭 CRYING - what makes them cry? do they cry easily?

he doesn’t cry easily, mainly because he doesn’t like to show when something is troubling him or making him sad so he just bottles up everything. the times he cried are so few (and even fewer the times when someone saw him cry), he lets out tears out of frustration mainly, when he’s losing someone he really really cares about..COUGHING vesper COUGHING

being left alone for the rest of his days and losing all the people he loves lmao dramatic little man. this comes mainly from the fact that he knows he’s not the easiest to deal with sometimes and he’s scared that one day the people he loves will be too fed up with him to continue putting up with his antics. also he’s scared of heights, the thought of falling makes him anxious. he tries to be an Adult about it and often challenges his own fear but god...he’s so funny, sometimes he’s scared to look down from up a pair of stairs fdhskfjh

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

he had such a sad childhood </3 i’m so sorry babygirl. the most vivid memories are probably the little “treasure hunts” he used to do with his brother and ephraim, their adoptive father. exploring abandoned buildings searching for something incredibly old, like books, vinyls. that still sticks with him since he keeps doing them and also is the reason he has such a vintage soul. that is one of the few happy memories he has from his childhood

🌏 EARTH - will they give up the world for someone they love? is this decision easy for them?

yeah. just yeah. not sure if we are talking about death here or complete destrusction of the world for someone he loves jfsfk but he would do that, no second thoughts. i said this once but he would literally do anything for vesper, he could throw away any kind of morality for her if it means saving her life or making her happy. the only thing that makes his life worth living are the people he loves, if he loses them then there’s no reason to be alive any longer

javier’s voice rung out in your shared apartment, a tremor of anxiety creeping into his tone at the sight of the scattered blankets, clothes and tissues gracing your living room floor. he shut the door softly, footsteps silent as he inched closer to the bedroom at the sound of your sniffle. gently pushing the door open, he stuck his head inside and found you curled up on the bed, balled up in what looked like-was it four-multiple blankets, shivering with a near-empty box of tissues on the bedside.

“oh, honey.” walking up to you, he caught sight of your half-closed swollen eyes, your nose and cheeks tinged red as you sneezed again. bringing a hand to your forehead, he shushed your whine when his fingers pulled away.

you cracked an eye open, hissing against the sunlight to watch his furrowed brows and eyes wide with worry. making a valiant attempt to say “go away, javi ‘m sick, it might spread,” you groaned and half-babbled incoherently, trying to roll yourself away from him, just getting yourself tangled in the blankets in the process. he huffed at the sight before gently gripping your ankle to get it out of the mess you’d made, planting a kiss on your forehead before bending to pick up the used tissues littering the floor under the opposite wall.

your eyes have fluttered shut by the time he turns back to you, and the fact that you’d insisted you were alright just this morning paired with the stubborn pout of your lips - even in sleep - makes him smile, before shaking his head and getting to work. time to bust out his mother’s fail-safe chicken soup recipe.

three days later, when the shine returns to your eyes and your fever finally flushes out, you make a joke about how much of a mother hen he’d become when you were sick - hovering, panicking, setting alarms for your medicine and refusing to leave your bedside at any given time.

which is why you aren’t too surprised when a week later, javi’s the one in bed.

at least you’re stocked up on medicine. and chicken soup.

The cold air is unforgiving and harsh as you make your way to the dock; you wish you could dig your hands deeper into your jacket's pockets as they're gripping onto the dish of leftovers, covered haphazardly with foil and on top another awfully wrapped present.

The boat's not decorated; you weren't expecting it to be either and you silently laugh to yourself when you see the small plastic pine tree you brought as a joke still proudly standing.

Hobie was laying on his bed as you made yourself at home, taking off your jackets and gloves and making your way to where he lay. "Merry Christmas," you said as he opened his eyes and raised his head from his pillow. He gave you a small smile before stretching his long limbs. The arm closest to you reached out to wrap around your waist and in a swift move he had pulled you down to lay down with him.

"Alone for Christmas?" he asked with a lilt of surprise in his voice. You shrugged in reply. "Not really alone," you said, "I have you."

"Damn right," he said with a smile, placing a kiss to the side of your head before he popped up from his bed. He didn't go far though, moving to get something from underneath his bed. He handed you the small wrapped package, moving to take a seat next to you as you sat up. His wrapping skills made you feel less bad at your horrible attempt, but the effort was appreciated nevertheless.

You wrapped your arms around his neck, murmuring a plethora of thanks into your neck as he used the opportunity to place a few more kisses to the side of your head, your cheek, neck and wherever else he could.

His gift was a stack of cd mixtapes and a portable Walkman. You felt like a child again, excited to use your present as soon as possible. Your present to him was a knitted blanket, that the two of you later sat under as you shared the leftovers you brought.

correct!! inceltaru lives in an apartment, one that’s fairly nice though he could afford one that’s way nicer or a whole mansion if he wanted to but… he prefers only having as much space as he needs. i think he’s a bit uncomfortable with having too much space; he feels safer in smaller places. something something cozy something something he needs to feel a bit trapped at all times since he has a need for control. he’s a frequent browser of many online forums so the odds that you’ve seen at least one of his posts before is close to a hundred percent. consider this: you post a mini rant somewhere about how much you can’t stand your neighbour and his habit of having noisy gaming/jerk off sessions when you’re trying to sleep. he stumbles across it and quickly links the post back to you, his very next door adorable crush!! he’s immediately shooting you a message sympathizing with your issue and offering an ear to vent it all out to while grinning to himself all about how you have no clue it’s him. is he a bit peeved you’re talking so much shit about him?? yes, but he finds it far too hot that you know about him to be truly upset. the degradation only increases the frequency of his nasty actions to enjoy your equally increased annoyance. it’s a bit of a waiting game for you to find out it’s him but you’ll get it soon with all of the slight reflections of his ginger hair and glasses in the occasional photo he sends you!! inceltaru loves that your unaware and, to a degree, at his mercy <3 it takes a nearly clear photo of his face for you to put two and two together since you’ve only caught glimpses of him on the rare occasion he’s left his own apartment but when you do you’re halfway between cussing him out and breaking your lease. unfortunately, you’ve got a killer deal on rent so in your anger you storm over to his door to confront him on the verge of tears. you feel humiliated knowing he was fully aware and enjoying playing with you like some toy!! he answers the door with a lazy grin, wet hair, no shirt, and only clad in boxers. it would be wise to make fun of him for having what you assume is his monthly shower but you’re rendered speechless at the way he’s eyeing you and opening the door further to let you in. he leers at you upon entry and asks what’s up as if he isn’t fully aware like the asshole he is. suddenly you’re stuck between verbally beating him up or sucking the obvious boner you can see through his grey boxers…
