I had gone out of my comfort zone and tried out a lot of new things in this 👀 esp since I used ibis on phone for this with my stylus XD

Attempted to do more of a soft shading, finer lineart, clothing creases, dynamic pose/perspective, hard light (I tried LOL), shadows and a new skull shape. Think it went pretty well 👀

I literally have 400+ layers and spent 28 hours on this LMAO

HOPE U LIKE IT ✨✨ ^^

Anyways, here was the initial pose I had done before I wanted to make it more dynamic and stuff. And the lineart since its barely noticeable in the actual art

i’m having so many emotions about teru

that was such a fast-paced, high-stakes situation, and he was thrown so many curveballs he barely had any time to cope with, and he still managed to adjust at impressive speed and never lost his faith in mob.

specifically: that moment right before ???% grabs him by the throat, when he’s kneeling on the ground trying to catch his breath. in that split moment, that’s when the realisation dawns, that this version of mob has no qualms in hurting him even with his bare hands. mob being non-violent to the point of letting himself get choked to unconsciousness was literally how they met, it’s one of the foundations at his core, and teru was well aware of it. having that knowledge suddenly be proven wrong, and all that means for his own safety, must have been a lot to take in. i can’t quite tell if it’s fear that we see on his face for a second, but if it is, that really adds to the element of horror - that sudden realisation that you’re in so much more danger than you thought and your initial plan is not going to be enough.

and then of course: when ???% lets loose his power despite so many people still being around and unable to evacuate. the horror on teru’s face, man. i don’t think it’d really clicked for him what mob being in this state actually meant until then. sure, him attacking teru was unlike him, but teru’s still an esper. he’s in great danger but he can somewhat defend himself. but civilians are different, and you can really tell teru did NOT think mob would put them in danger like that. he’s completely shell-shocked. i think that was another huge moment where he had to very quickly reassess the situation and what to do about it, all while coping with the emotional side of it all, since this is one of his closest friends and someone he really admires. he has to very quickly reckon with the fact that despite the pedestal he put him on, mob is just as human as he is and is capable of making mistakes just like everybody else, mistakes that don't detract from his worth.

which brings me to the point of it all. that DESPITE ALL THAT, teru was still able to 1) understand that mob desperately wants someone to stop him and would never want to harm anyone like this (bc he remembered that mob cried after realising what he’d done to his school....... where he’d only really harmed one person, who had done much worse to him..... if he cried after that, how will he feel when he finds out what he’s causing now?), 2) save all the people caught up in the devastation and get them all out of harm’s way, while being in a lot of pain (his EYES were BLEEDING), and 3) never once lose faith in mob. he saw him go on a (unintentional and unwilling, but teru doesn’t know that) rampage, doing things he would never in a million years think mob would ever do, and still took all of that in in record time considering the situation, and came out on the other side still whole-heartedly believing in shigeo and his goodness, and almost dying trying to stop him. because he knew that being the reason hundreds of innocent people got injured (or worse) would completely and utterly break mob.

and while, knowing teru, he might think he failed since he couldn’t achieve his goal (stopping mob’s rampage), what he succeeded in doing was ultimately just as important. he saved all the people he could, and gave his best for the one person he couldn’t.

#mob psycho 100 #mp100 #mp100 spoilers #hanazawa teruki #kageyama shigeo #this got really long but i have so many thoughts on this #there are some things i only brushed upon but that still drive me insane. but those will be for some other post maybe #the gist of this is that i think what teru was able to do here is an incredible feat that not many people could have done #both from a concrete point of view in terms of the people he saved and attempts he made at stopping mob #but also from a purely emotional perspective in terms of coping with all the life-altering curveballs being thrown at him #while being engaged in life-threatening battle #someone please get this kid to a hospital and then to a warm meal and a comfy bed or i'll do it myself #anyway thank you to bones for doing a great job with this final arc so far. excited for the next two eps #even having read the manga i'm NOT ready #post.txt

having long ago made the executive decision to sublimate MUCH more of my rage over all the ways my body identity and personhood have been violated over the course of my life on levels both mental physical domestic and systemic into my writing by the way

#this does not mean we will be Seeing things on screen we don't need to #just that i am going to crank the dial and how much harrowingly visceral information can be conveyed -without- actually doing that #good horror will make a frame with seemingly nothing going on the scariest shit ever bc you Know. you cant see. but you Know.#the tragedy of 'my schizophrenia did not disable me but the PTSD from how i've been treated and taken advantage of bc of it DID'#'and SO MUCH of the WORST trauma was inflicted in the name of Fixing me (be it the mental illness or my gayness or my being a girl wrong)#and a lot of other things really but this is at the forfront of my mind as i finally finish recovering from a lot of repressed shit finally #boiling over to dangerously lethal levels last year and my entire brain just Imploded lmao #i dont know when i'll be able to really forgive my family for refusing to vaccinate or distance and transmitting covid to me twice #resulting in seizures and brain damage the second time #which basically hit a reset button on how well i could manage my pre-existing schizophrenic symptoms and damaged my cognition #i've had to mourn losing a big chunk of my own mind's ability to function focus or even remain anchored in reality because of that #oh yeah the transphobia my family still refuses to work on that and it also contributed heavily to the system shattering so bad #i finally realized that it even existed #some of the alters now have mutually exclusive genders and orientations presumably as weird coping mechanism

RTD is so in love with David Tennant that it makes him look stupid, huh.

#listen friends i dont know what to feel #i love everyone involved #I'm so happy that Donna has her memories back and will spend the rest of her life with her best friend by her side #but that ending felt like it was straight out of a christmas Hallmark movie; my teeth ache from all that saccharine sweetness #I'll be able to justify it if RTD is setting the stage for bringing Tennant and Tate into his UNIT spin-off which seems to be in the works #if that's not the reason it's hard for me to swallow this plot twist with the biregeneration #firstly: RTD did something similar at the end of the fourth season—splitting the Doctor to “give” one version to Rose #it's a bit annoying to see him essentially do the same now by letting another version of the Doctor to stay with Donna #secondly: I missed the emotion in this #I spent a week bracing myself for heartbreak but we went a bit too far in the other direction #we got a cutesy ending where everything resolves through a deus ex machina #yet it’s those bitter and grief-soaked moments are what RTD has always excelled at #when it comes to the Doctor's regeneration and farewells to companions #it's hard to feel much about this plot development #some things should remain final and some goodbyes and endings are unavoidable #the conclusion of Rose’s arc (both from s2 and s4) or Donna's ending in s4 #were among the most emotionally intense moments in the history of television #I missed a bit of that here #perhaps if there were more bitterness in the 14th Doctor's ending if he had to pay some PRICE for this biregeneration #(like not getting his TARDIS #being told that the Fifteenth takes over the regeneration ability #and the Tennant Doctor will die of old age)#emotionally it would have provided viewers with a cool punch #without that it seems like RTD wanted to have his cake and eat it too #have a new Doctor and give his old characters a last-minute happy ending that doesn't make much logical sense #I was hoping to feel more considering how much I love these characters #but my main reaction is an eyeroll #on the positive side I really hope to see Neil Patrick Harris in the show again he was a great villain #and Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor is already so freaking great!!! <3 #doctor who

New Transmission The fucking Scientific Instrument Class Pseudocons apparently developed what they're calling "Hetero Sapience" and are corrupting the brainmodules of the non-Pseudo 'cons around them by using annoying xenophilosophy words. Soundwave tells me they're 'Greek' and 'Latin' words, apparently. Cool, I guess? Anyway, if you see any SI Class 'cons causing... issues, just try your hardest to turn your brainmodule off before you start getting infected with their weird lingo, alongside all the other issues pertaining to letting the SI Pseudocons transmit data into your brainmodule in their own weird ways. Thundercracker, on a bet with Starscream, tried to get into an argument with one of them and his head literally exploded when it started talking about Alpha Trion's "Mythological Origins" in its weird dialect. He's mostly fine, CR Pods are working at 'peak' efficiency, but the facial reconstruction is apparently impossible due to some kind of corruption. I thought it was just some weird prank but there weren't even any scorch marks or anything. Just exploded. So yeah, just avoid optical contact and auditory contact to the best of your ability and you should be fine. Otherwise, try to force-shutdown your brainmodule if you can. Shockwave is working on a cure right now, mostly because I know he had something to do with this in the first place so he's going to be the one to fix it. He probably wanted a greater justification to do that weird data-transfer idea he mentioned previously. But it also explains the weird Thunderwing hypotheticals he's been asking me lately... Can I go one fucking cycle without someone trying to "Perfect Thunderwing's Work" or whatever other idiotic drivel that I keep finding our limited energon reserves siphoned into?? It's not even a Shockwave thing, it's like every damn Cybertronian these days thinks they have the "Missing piece of the puzzle" or whatever. In fact, Shockwave might be doing this as a weird threat against the other R&D 'cons to cement himself as the one and only Decepticon "Allowed" to have resources wasted on projects like that. Ugh, now that I think about it, that's probably a correct assumption and he's probably gonna expect me to thank him for it later. Ugh, and he's probably literally right. Ugh. At least his repairs both to himself and to his lab seem to be mostly complete so further research into the SI project should hopefully come along a little faster. Both Shockwave and Soundwave think the SIs could potentially be used as some kind of specialty weapon, but we'll have to see how they work on sparkless lifeforms, like biological lifeforms or xenomechanical lifeforms. The SIs don't seem to corrupt each other, but Shockwave keeps reaffirming that they're not "Sparkless Lifeforms" because they "were never lifeforms to begin with"... but I think he's trying to hide something. Usually Soundwave is the one to pick up on that kind of technological obfuscation, but he actually agreed with Shockwave and offered to send Ratbat to try to work out exactly what each "sapient" SI is now capable of on a personal level. We could have just had regular Cybertronians aboard to fill the role SIs fill. I would've preferred K Class to fill any role an SI could fill in all honesty!! But no, constructing cold wasn't enough, we just had to try to learn how to "Construct Frozen" and the "Absolute Zeroes" just had to be put on my ship. Whatever. I've probably said too much already. This was supposed to be a warning for my ship crew, but it's looking like it'll end up being transcribed on the golden disk as well so when this new Scientific Instruments of Destruction project backfires in some absurdly bombastic way there will at least be something remaining that says I was right. End of Transmission

New Transmission Okay so I was right, but so was Shockwave and Soundwave. Or, well, they were right just enough to make sure the backfire is postponed for at least another handful of cycles. Ratbat is still in CR from the investigation, but the cure Shockwave developed seems to be effective and Thundercracker is out and aiding the repair effort. Shockwave is now in contact with one of the SIs digitally and the other few are... integrating due to the personal efforts of Soundwave. I suppose now would be pertinent to mention not all the SIs developed the "Hetero Sapience" condition, many of them are safe for interaction. Soundwave is also currently monitoring their presence, Ravage is tasked with the regular SIs and Laserbeak is tasked with the "Sapient" SIs. Shockwave probably knows exactly what caused this event but he is preoccupied with the one he no doubt is either indoctrinating or ruthlessly interrogating. Report to Soundwave if you see any suspicious behavior, he has been working very hard to ensure the SIs have their purpose clearly defined (And closely monitored). And, Starscream, stop trying to convince the SIs that you are the leader of this ship. Not only have the majority of your efforts been wasted on subsentient automata, the only one you have actually found who possesses the ability to truly listen to you immediately came to the bridge to complain about you. They were the first sapient SI I communicated with directly and it was because they felt the need to complain about you. I almost feel embarrassed for you. Come back to the bridge so you can apologize to it or so I can teach it how to laugh at you. It's practicing right now actually! This moment of chaos should hopefully be largely under control now, the actual "population" of Scientific Instrument Class Pseudocons was actually quite fewer than initially expected due to an indexing error incorrectly labeling certain shells as SI class. At the very least, we have some more specialty warriors because of it all. End of Transmission EOF

#if we had just gotten a little bit more about her we would have seen her holding grudges like no other #she would have resented so much about the demigod world and HADES omg daddy issues girl #ok maybe nico also holds grudges but i think to a lesser extent and TBH his main grudge has always been the one against bianca #other than that ???? percy???? that was certainly a thing but it was so tied to his grudge against bianca that well it IS about bianca #and i mean. an argument can be made about nico being more forgiving bc bianca WARNED HIM but i don't buy that completely #i think he can have tendencies towards it but it's not really him and at the end of the day he can take a step back and see the big picture #but the bianca situation was MASSIVE he needed years to be able to take enough steps back to finally understand and see what led bianca to #her choices #anyways. nico di angelo ur fatal flaw is not grudges.#stubborn maybe??? jealous??? he's a lot actually idk what word would encapsulate his character best #i think he would meet his end bc he's stubborn tho. i think he doesn't know when to stop and THAT will kill him.#but i think all of this ties to the fact that he feels guilty. even in tsats they discuss this and i do think that is truly the core of nico #he feels guilt over what he has done and didn't get to do and even for others #can guilt be a fatal flaw?? if it can i'll take that one for nico

okay, the new desk & chair have been set up... but now it's time to start the two hour drive to the next city over to watch the d-day concert in cinema bc none of the theatres nearby are showing it adhfjsg

I read the chapter, and I do feel mixed about the explanation sukuna gave and what it means to the protagonists and certain other things... but, one thing I do like is that from the moment before his death is that he finally was able to be himself, not the strongest. Him being killed by someone stronger removed that concept that applied to him, caused his loneliness and own identity crisis (Geto's question), and the line people had drawn between him and themselves is why he also used Jujutsu as a way to satisfy himself in that Strongest role. At that point, he spoke in that scene from a place of humility, one thing he hasn't felt in years, if ever.

Nanami mentioned where to go if you want to return to the way you are, you go south and if you wish to make yourself anew, go north. He might go south to return to his blue spring, but it's also likely he could go north at this in the crossroads of the afterlife because this is new to him - that he is not the strongest, but he just a human named Satoru Gojo and he died, surrounded by people he loved and with no regrets.

#also probably hearing sukuna complement him before dying is what also caused the smile too #even though in the physical world he died alone i do think it was nice in that space he was surrounded by people he loved #and probably believes his students got this truly #it sucks he wouldnt be able to see it though #and the explanation on how and why just not good #but reading his send and thinking about it more and more... it was nice #pacing and structure issues aside #yeah i did feel something from that I'll take back whatever i said as far as that #but also idk if this is more me overanalyzing than gege's writing lmao #jjk #jjk spoilers #satoru gojo #jujutsu kaisen #now time to go watch him get sealed yay #he had some regrets possibly with the megumi mention but he mentioned he told shoko #which tells me i think he went into this either winning and saving megumi #or wanting to die and finally be at peace that he can finally consider himself a human #it hits harder after watching the episode because they referred to him as a monster or that thing a lot too #and it fucked with him that no one understood him but he sought that with sukuna #kinda fucked though that part of him let this happened the way it did #it's pretty selfish to let them go after he was unsealed and had a better chance to win but it all comes back to post #and that's just who he is #and also he wanted megumi to live over himself i'd think

#thank god i finally scheduled that doctor's appointment #Jan 15 cannot come quickly enough tbh #like i've streamlined getting shit put away and i hurry as soon as the wooziness starts hitting because i know i'm on borrowed time #and that's when the trauma reaction kicks in of ''i can't stop halfway through i'll be in trouble'' anxiety #because i *enjoy* putting away groceries and organizing the kitchen #i just also can't without a lot of assistance and plenty of spoons and time to prepare myself physically and mentally beforehand #this post brought to you by i had this realization doing the groceries and now i'm having like a lot of thoughts about it #i can't do it all in one go ever and i have never been able to without someone else handling about half of it #no matter how much i get or of what i can only get about half put away before time's up and i gotta sit down #it's why so much of my food was non-perishable when i was on my own #cause i'd get the cold things put away because they *had* to be #and then i couldn't physically do any more - especially if the groceries that week were more cold than non-perishable #but like yeah if i had to stop or take a break in putting away the groceries (despite also having gone to the grocery store #and walked around the whole store and grabbed items AND carried the heavy things into the house because i was the heavy lifter #AND i was in sports and had probably either just done a lot of exercise or was still in recovery from the day before/earlier that day)#i got fussed at for not helping out #so that's fucked up and fuck my mom actually she sucks #ugh
