Are the Children alright?

This post contains a true story about children saying some wild things. No children were harmed but I am concerned where they learn these things.

I work at a daycare. Today I was with the 4 and 5 year olds during pick up hours. They were playing and there was music for those who wanted to dance, lots of fun.

Two girls decided to play family. One girl also wanted to play with the blocks. Let's call her construction mom. So these two girls are playing family, one leaves the kitchen area after hugging home mom and then goes to the blocks to build a tower.

Another kid knocks it down. So construction mom goes back to the kitchen set to tell home mom how mean, let's call him the Boss, is being at the blocks. Home mom pats construction mom's head and hands her a (toy) cake.

Construction mom goes back to the blocks ready to try again and home mom picks out some baby dolls. The block bridge gets knocked over by The Boss while home mom is walking over to show construction mom the baby dolls she picked.

"I don't want to play blocks anymore," construction mom says. "[The Boss] is so mean,"

"Oh," home mom sighs. "Pick a baby, we need to eat one since we have no money now,"

Then I watch in befuddled horror as they talk about which baby doll Marvel super hero is going to be dinner. They decided to eat the baby doll of Captain America ( a doll in a blue shirt with a large star on it) and raise the Hulk baby (a doll colored green with marker and in purple pants).

The things I hear these kids say is mind boggling sometimes. Who is teaching their kids that you eat a baby when you're poor? I don't even know anymore.

the little context I had of this was that y/n found this random sun plush and informed sun about their discovery. At first sun (and moon) were okay with it but then y/n gave the plush more attention than them so they got jealous lol
